It had been a year.

Though part of her suspected it had been longer. It felt like an eternity.

Sometimes she felt like the only peace she could truly find anymore were these night walks with her son.

He'd been born a few months before it happened. Yet he didn't understand a thing, of course. He was merely a child.

One who tugged now on her wrist, with a distressed whine as he looks over his shoulder, brows furrowed.

"Stain? What's wrong?" She turns her head to look down at him in concern. She knew her son was extremely prone to having sudden rushes of anxiety. She'd hoped the soothe bell around his neck would improve it, but it had only lessened a small amount.

"Scarf!" Once the word escaped him, Pigment had never turned as fast. Looking back on it, she's not sure why. Perhaps part of her hoped her father remained out there. But she knew the answer all too well.

It had been a year.

Fate was a despicable thing, taking her father. She'd thought maybe she'd stop having hope that he'd come back. She knew he was gone. And she knew she wouldn't see anything as she turned around.

"Stain, there's nothing there. You needn't worry." She tries to comfort him but the young Mewtwo doesn't take his eyes off the tree. Her frown depends.

She gives his hand a gentle squeeze, but he still doesn't avert his gaze, instead beginning to wave one of his arms, his legs beginning to bounce as he rocked on his feet. "There! There!" He squeaked out, scrambling to hide behind her hip. Pigment breathes out.

"I'll check, okay? Just to be sure." She offers. Stain looks up at her, his eyes wide before his chin lowers in the tiny symbol of a nod. Releasing his hand lightly, she glides herself closer to the tree, peering her head around it.

"I told you, nothing's there."

And nothing was. She wasn't sure why he'd been so panicked. He's rather skittish, but still, not enough to be startled by well..air. She decides to come to the conclusion that perhaps he saw some sort of other 'mon on its night route.

"Ma! Saw Scarf!" He's waving both hands now, his fur spiked as he looks around with nervous glances. A strange detail to keep bringing up. Her heart sinks as her own mind recalls a scarf, her hand drifting up to clasp at the bandana over her shoulders.

A swift shake of her head as she leans down and lifts Stain into her arms, tucking his head against her chest.

"It's alright. I'll protect you."

And so, a hum emerges from her. A tune that once it reaches Stain, it causes his eyelids to flutter downwards, a tiny yawn escaping him as his trembling slowly starts to cease.

Perhaps she should've checked behind the tree twice.

A shadow looms there now, his eyes narrowed as his fingers grip the fabric he wears. The blue was now much darker. His fingers now claws.

He'd changed after death, he'd noticed. So had the world, it appeared. After all, it had been a year.

How foolish of he to think it could all stay the same.

Woop that was a long one. I came up with this during school.

I'd had the general idea for a while after seeing some of Tc's asks about what if Scarfy died and decided to do a little something.

My backgrounds aren't top tier but the flowers in the front are Forget-me-nots.

For clarification: this isn't supposed to be bashing on these characters for not recovering in a year after Scarfy's death. It's meant to show that grief lasts a long time. And sometimes it takes time to completely settle. Pigment is still sort of coming to terms with it, part of her struggling to believe he's truly gone.

Also, in this, I made the choice that after a Pokemon dies, they become y'know a ghost. Or in Scarfy's case, a ghost fusion. He became a Haunter fusion since Pig technically has Gengar blood and I'm pretty sure Stains would-be fusion is a Gastly.

I might do more doodles and such about this, but here's the first! I genuinely really like this idea and may or may not have gotten some inspiration from Ghosting by Mother Mother.

So I've spent the past few days doing a Pokemon Let's Go Eevee run using only poison types and I caught a Tentacruel a while ago. I asked my ma for names (I thought of Bubbles but it didn't seem suitable) and y'know what she said?

Fred.

Now I initially laughed at the name suggestion and humoured her since I thought it was the doofiest thing to name this huge tentacle beast "Fred", and she became attatched to him. She'd ask me every 10 minutes or so how Fred was doing and I'd let her know if he won any major battles and such. My 63 year old mother got invested in a little pixel jellyfish, and y'know what? Fred proved his worth!

He not only swept Blaine's gym, but Sabrina? My ENTIRE TEAM was swept by her, with my Haunter taking out her Mr Mime before succumbing to the Slowbro. My "starter" Victreebel took it out before fainting as well. Rest of my team fell to either her Jynx or her Alakazam, but FRED? Managed to tough out the final attack. The life or death psychic that would have been the difference between restarting her fight, this time without necessary healing items, or winning. This madlad swept her Alakazam away with surf on 1 HP.

God speed, Fred.

Konrad strides through the Night Fall, serfs quickly getting out of her way as she enters her quarters, motions Ning for the guards to leave, she stares down at Hope. "You have something to say?" She asks her daughter.

Hope raises her arms. "Ma."

The Night Haunter smiles and scoops her daughter up. "Yes, I am Ma." She kisses her child's brow.

Hope hugs her and giggles.

"Where is Keleer? She must hear this...." Keys her vox to ship wide broadcast and holds Hope close.

"Ma." Echoes along the length on the Night Fall, for all to hear.... Many Serfs start celebrating, before their over seeres put them back to work.

Hope is speaking.

Hilda - A Delphox and my actual starter from my pokemon journey days. I got lucky and won a lottery for her. No way could my parents have payed for my starter, let alone a shiny Fennekin. She's a bit of a diva sometimes, and can be very overdramatic, but she's really a sweetheart. Named her Hilda after seeing some pictures of what she'd grow into and figured it had a real witchy vibe.

Sophie - A Sylveon I caught as an Eevee. Eevee are actually surprisingly common in the Scioval region where I grew up (it's a couple regions southwest of Unova if you're curious) so I caught her pretty early on. She's very shy but also really affectionate when she gets to know someone. I named her after Sophie Hatter from Howl's Moving Castle Yubaba - Okay, you probably guessed this one. Yes, she's named after Yubaba from Spirited Away, though she's certainly a lot more like Zeniba. I caught her as a haunter while on a ghost tour in Symphonia City. Never did see a ghost that wasn't just a ghost type pokemon on that tour. At any rate, Yuba is pretty much the mom of the group; a prankster through and through as most healthy Gengar are, but heaven help anyone who messes with the rest of the team.

Coraline - Discovered with a bunch of other shaymin while I was traveling to do a piece for Backpacker's in Floaroma. I hadn't seen one before so I just assumed it was a common Sinnoh pokemon. Coraline kept following me into my AirBnB so I eventually decided to just catch her and take her home with me. It literally wasn't until I was going through customs that I found out she was a mythical and therefore kind of an endangered species. I'm honestly surprised, but grateful that, after a mountain of paperwork, I was allowed to keep her. She is my brave little Coraline who doesn't battle because she's too busy finding new ways to con me out of more snacks. Tippetarius - I usually just call him Tip. Found him as a puppy at the local shelter shortly after I moved to Ikoni. He didn't have a name yet, so I decided to name him after Ozma's alter-ego from The Marvelous Land of Oz. I do hope he doesn't turn out to be a secret fairy princess though. That would be pretty awkward for both of us. He's a little rascal and very playful. His favorite game is tug-of-war, though he's accidentally cut through his toys more than once when I take too long to file down the stones in his neck ruff. Like Coraline, I do not use him for battle. He is just a good, good, boy.

Shadow is a service pokemon I received about three years ago. Lil guy helps me remember to take my meds and helps me with emotional regulation primarily. Apparently they named him shadow because he just really liked following the MAS trainers around and I wasn't about to name him something different just to fit a theme, lol. He's always very serious but like... in the way that a very serious child is serious. He's not about to turn down snacks or refuse to fetch a ball on his downtime, but he will take both activities very seriously.

Finally, as of June 29, 2024, Valentine the Iron Valiant (or, Vallade I guess?) has joined our family since stowing away in my luggage. They seem a lot calmer since turning on default settings, but they still love strawberry pokepuffs! I have a lot to learn about taking care of them.

So that's me and my little family. I look forward to interacting with you guys and maaaybe getting some commissions in... if you want. No pressure.

Land of the Queen City of South: The Extreme Beauty of Cebu

For the very first time, my friends and I, went to Cebu City as we planned to try the extreme adventure and also to celebrate my birthday. We all know that Cebu is one of the amazing places to visit by a lot of tourists from all over the world to experience the beauty of Cebu.

We were too excited to visit the Queen City of the South that we arrived at  NAIA Terminal 3 Airport at 9:00pm pa lang pero ang boarding time namin is 11:35pm. Good luck samin eh madaling araw na talaga kami darating ng Mactan Airport.

We arrived in Mactan Airport at exactly 12:45am (November 21, 2019) Syempre bababa muna kami ng eroplano, charot! Na-amaze kami sa ganda ng airport ng Mactan, why? Because of the architectural design of the ceiling and of course the modern technology that they have. Syempre tambay muna kami sa fastfood sa loob ng airport habang nag aantay sa contact naming travel coordinator (note: avail the exclusive tour package para less hassle) na si kuya Marquel.

At exactly 3:15 in the morning, Kuya Marquel arrived at the Airport to start our first day of adventure in Moalboal. Our travel took more than 2 hours and syempre tulog sa byahe dahil mga wala pa kaming tulog.

First Day: Moalboal hindi mukang buang!

When we arrived in Moalboal, we took our breakfast and we started our first trip in Pescador Island. We rode a boat to get in Pescador Island which took us more or less 30 minutes. I bet you will enjoy swimming and snorkeling as you will see different fish. Also we tried to swim with thousands of sardines and you will see their amazing formation. Ang saya din nilang habulin or guluhin ang formation nila (haha epal). The water is so clear and it is easy for you to enjoy watching them.

One of the attractions in the Pescador Island is the turtle watching. Sad lang kasi hindi namin nakita yung sea turtle dahil masyado daw syang mahiyain that time kaya hinanap na lang sya ni kuyang bangkero para kunan ng video. Maigi pa si kuya nakita yung lintik na turtle na yan. But then kahit sa video lang naming sya napanood, still we are so lucky to see him na masaya sya sa island and safe sya from the destroyer.

The Extreme Canyoneering Adventure in Badian and Kawasan Falls!

After the island hopping in Pescador Island, our next trip was the canyoneering. Dito talaga mate-test ang adrenaline rush mo. But before we started, we had our lunch with the overlook of the sea and then prepared ourselves for the big adventure. There are 2 ways for canyoneering. The full course canyoneering that will take more than 3 hours of trekking and the half course canyoneering for more or less 2 hours. Of course tinry namin yung full course na para abugbug berna yung katawan diba. First, you will ride a habal habal to get to the trekking starting point and trek for 45 minutes to go down the river or you can try the zipline para 10 minutes away ka na lang sa river and of course it will cost you 500 pesos lang naman. Syempre kami naglakad na lang, para naman ma-experience din naman natin ang maglakad sa bundok (chaarr wala lang kaming budget).

For us to start our first extreme canyoneering adventure, kinakailangan na naming magpakatapang (magpakalalaki teh) dahil tatalon na kami sa 10 feet lang naman para makalarga sa kabila. As we go along with the trekking, napakaraming pagdadaanan bago makarating sa Kawasan Falls. You must swim and jump on the multiple falls but while  doing such activities you will enjoy the turquoise color of the water. The waterfalls are so clear and too cold lalo na nung umuulan, it is like a rainforest. It was so majestic when you look at the trees and the rock formations. If you are seeking for an extreme activity, canyoneering is the best adventure for you! You will try to jump in a more or less 50ft high waterfalls and feel the clear and cold water. You will also experience sliding in the waterfalls with your friends and hang on the bagging and swing on the water. That was so much fun for us!

Second Day: Oslob! hindi yung papel (Oslo Paper yun)

Whaleshark Watching!

Early morning of our second day,  Kuya Marquel required us to prepare early para mauna kami sa pila kasi napakaraming turista ang gusto ma-experience ang whaleshark watching. This is one of the best attractions of Oslob kaya maraming dumadayo dito.

For you to interact with the whaleshark, you must ride on a boat to get there. Wear your goggles hindi google (website yun teh) and of course, bring your underwater camera para maganda ang selfie with butanding. People in Oslob are the ones who takes care of the whaleshark by providing them  food and protect them from the haunters. Whaleshark watching is a remarkable experience for us because you will see them closely to see how huge they are and how wonderful to see them with the fisherman who took care of them.

Sumilon Island

Our next destination was the Sumilon Island. It is one of the finest sandbars in the Philippines and one of the islands surrounded by clear water. You will enjoy the swimming activity and very Instagrammable view of the island. You can also try the slow motion video.

Sumilon Island has been the precious treasure of Cebu because of its majestic view and crystal blue water.

The Oslob Church and Cuartel Ruins

After experiencing the paradise of Sumilon, our next destination was the Oslob Church, also known as Nuestra Senora de la Immaculada Conception and the Cuartel Ruins. Did you know that Oslob Church is one of the oldest churches in Cebu? The church was constructed in 1830  designed by Bishop Santos Gomez Marañon - the same person who built the Magellan's Cross kiosk in Cebu City. A fire gutted the Oslob Church on March 26, 2008 but was then reconstructed by the locals. At the side of the church is the Cuartel Ruins which was built to house Spanish troops that were assigned in Oslob. This unfinished structure has double rows of arches, and is made of thick corals.

The view of the place was so amazing because of the seaside and the park in the front of Oslob Church.

Simala Church: The Kingdom of our Lord in the Philippines

Simala Church is one of the amazing churches I’ve ever seen in my entire life! Why? Because it looks like a palace. The visitors are not allowed to wear above the knee short or dress. If you are wearing one, you can rent a shawl (also known as balabal) or beach sarong for only 20 pesos to cover your knee.

Carcar: The Pasalubong Center of Cebu!

If you wish to buy pasalubong, you must visit the Carcar Market for the dried seafood. They have cooked dried fish for you to taste how delicious it is! The per kilo of dried fish is pricy (Dried Danggit is 800 per kilo and Dried Pusit is 850 per kilo) but you can buy half or ¼ kilo of it. It was so dami na. Also you can buy dried mangoes mas mura sa kanila compare sa mga pasalubong stores near in airport and the other items such as dried pineapple, peanut kisses and others. If you will visit  Carcar, make sure that you have extra shirt and pants because the smell of dried fish will stick on your clothes. It’s too malansa pero masharap! Hahaha.

Third Day: The Cebu City Tour: Let’s go back in the past!

Fort San Pedro

The Fort San Pedro was the defense military structure in Cebu built by the Spaniards under the command of first governor of the Captaincy General in the Philippines, Miguel Lopez de Lagazpi. When you enter inside the museum, you will see all the memorabilia of the Spanish era and the canyon gun of the Spanish military.

Museo Sugbo

Museo Sugbo is located in the former Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC). It was once called “Carcel de Cebu”, the provincial jail of Cebu. It is now the Cebu Provincial Museum.

The Museo was designed by Domingo de Escondrillas in in 1869 (he used to be the only architect in Cebu that time). It was originally proposed to be the main prison for the Visayan District because of its somewhat considerable size when it was constructed.The construction started in 1871. It was believed that the coral blocks from the demolished Parian Church were used to build parts of the gaol.

Inside the Museo Sugbo are the four galleries located in two different buildings. The political history gallery and the presidential gallery are inside. In the political history gallery, you will see the history of the politics in the country from the early period of Filipino groups up to present time. The presidential gallery displays the Philippine Presidents with their portraits and their signatures that is engraved in a 24-karat gold plated metal.

The other two galleries are located across the MPPH. These galleries show various archeological artifacts from excavation in Cebu including gold and ceramics the famous San Diego shipwreck of 1600.

The wishing well, located near the National Museum Galleries, will complete the whole tour in the museum. It is called the Well of Wisdom, Love and Good Fortune. It was believed to be the source of water for the prison complex of the Visayas District during the Spanish period.

Magellan’s Cross

Our tour would not be complete without visiting the Magellan’s Cross, the iconic cross that is located in Cebu City. The cross was brought by Ferdinand Magellan during his expedition in the Philippines. Now it is one of the attractions in Cebu City. Many people believe that when you offer a candle in the cross your wishes will be granted.

Sto. Nino Cathedral Church

The Sto. Nino Cathedral Church is also known as Basilica Menor del Santo Nino de Cebu is a minor basilica in Cebu City. The oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, it was built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi. The icon, a statuette of the Child Jesus, is the same one presented by Ferdinand Magellan to the chief consort of Rajah Humabon upon the royal couple's christening on April 14, 1521. It was founded by a soldier named Juan de Camuz forty years later, preserved in a wooden box, after Legazpi had razed a local village.

La Vie Parisienne

This is a restaurant inspired by European country. The best ambiance, pasta, breads, ice cream and wine are available here. This is also a very instagrammable place where you can take a photo on their wine gallery that is look like a wine factory in Italy. You can also try their variety of ice cream with so many flavors for as low as 100 pesos and their wines for as low as 400 pesos.Also the croissant and variety of cheese that are a must to taste. This place is so wonderful for the couple, family and friends to chill ‘in. Kaya umawra ng naaayon sa budget!

Taoist Temple

The temple is located at the Beverly Hills Subdivision of Cebu City. The temple is built by Cebu's substantial Chinese community in 1972.With an elevation of 110 metres (360 ft) above sea level, the temple is a towering, multi-tiered, multi-hued attraction accessible by three separate winding routes. Also you can take a photo in their giant Chinese Dragon.

Unlike the neighboring Phu Sian Temple, the Taoist temple is open to the worshipers and non-worshipers alike. A ritual among devotees is where one prays to the gods to grant one's wish. The ritual includes washing of hands, going inside the chapel barefoot and dropping two blocks of wood.

Temple of Leah: The Shrine of an Undying Love

The Temple of Leah is one of my favorite destinations in Cebu because of its Roman Architectural design based on the Temple of Athena Parthenos in Greece. The Temple of Leah is also known as Cebu’s Taj Mahal (a temple dedicated for an undying love to his wife) but Temple of Leah is Teodorico Soriano Adarna’s gesture of love to his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna and also the grandparents of the actress Ellen Adarna (Akalain mo yun?!). If you will enter inside the temple, you will see the big statue of Leah Albino-Adarna  seated with her crown. The view of this temple is visually attractive because of the beautiful view of Cebu City.

And also when you go on the other side of the temple you will a statue of a Roman Soldier that I’m sure some of you will enjoy taking pictures or videos on the huge tool of this soldier. Just visit the Temple of Leah and you will know what I’m talking about. Hahaha.

At the foot of the edifice you’ll find this inscription:

Leah V. Albino-Adarna was chose Matron Queen of her Alma Mater, the University of Southern Philippines. This nine-foot bronze statue portrays her composure and regal bearing when she was crowned. May the beholder discern her innate beauty, poise and genteelness.

Fourth, Fifth and Sixth day of our Cebu Trip: Chillax all day with Netflix and Food Trip

On our 4th, 5th and 6th day of our Cebu City Adventure, we decided to relax and enjoy our vacation at Kiener Hills Condominium before we go back to Manila. Elliot Herodias

Elliot es una estrella en ascenso en el mundo de los concursos pokémon. Ha estado ganando popularidad recientemente lo cual ha comenzado a demandar que comparta su vida privada en los medios sociales como metodo de publicidad. Se especializa en movimientos que enaltecen la inteligencia de los pokémon  y su superestrella es Charizard.

Irenna Lestrange

Irenna se encuentra estudiando con gran entusiasmo en la Universidad Decidua. Su carrera se especializa en el area de inovación tecnologica, sin embargo, algunos la consideran mas una adversaria que una aliada en estos avances, esto es debido a que posee un fuerte sentido de ética y cuestiona  el uso de los pokémon como entretenimiento. Sus pokémon son domesticos y viven fuera de sus pokebolas, tiene un venonat, un totodile y un slakoth.

Fidel Lobo

Fidel trabaja en el escuadron policiaco de Orianna Valley. Ultimamente ha tenido mucho trabajo debido al incremento de la actividad criminal por parte del equipo rocket, sin embargo jamás pondra eso como una excusa, siempre esta dispuesto a ayudar a los ciudadanos en cualquier situación para que puedan mantenerse seguros, aunque a veces se olvida de cuidarse también a si mismo. Siempre puede contar con su compañero Chesnaught.

Rainbow Gorka

Rainbow es perteneciente al aquelarre de bosque Udom. Desde pequeña ha sentido una fuerta atracción hacía el ocultismo, algo que le ha generado bastantes miradas de decepción por parte de sus padres quienes son la tipica pareja suburbana que intenta mantener una fachada de perfección ante la sociedad. Sus fieles compañeros son Haunter y Oddish.

Helena Arcadia

Helena es una ejecutiva del equipo rocket, un miembro de alto mando cuyas motivaciones son las de beneficiarse a si misma y a su familia. Es una madre soltera y una muy respetada lider de esta organización criminal. Su reciente operación de la captura de Mewtwo le ha otorgado un gran poder que aun esta intentando descifrar como controlar. Su pokémon aliado es Hydreigon.

Apollo Sion a.k.a. Aplosion

Aplosion es localmente conocido por trabajar en la radio pokémon. Se dedica principalmente a anunciar eventos para los miembros de pokeclub, pero también es muy solicitado para narrar combates y concursos; ademas, le gusta embarcarse en el periodismo para compartir historias en su podcast. Siempre va acompañado de sus fieles amigos Whismur y Quilava.

Vincent Ward

Vincent trabaja como enfermero en el centro pokémon de Midtown. Ocasionalmente rotan su guardia durante los fines de semana en distintos centros pokémon de Orianna Valley. Ha vivido por su propia cuenta desde que era un adolescente debido a que sus padres lo echaron de casa, pero por fortuna su pokémon Primarina ha estado siempre a su lado en un lazo inquebrantable.

Pokémon - Episódios banidos

O anime de Pokémon estreou no Japão em 1997, chegando a marca de mais de 1000 episódios em 2018. A série original mostra um pouco da interação entre Ash(Satoshi), um aspirante a Mestre Pokémon(não muito talentoso) e um carismático ratinho elétrico amarelo chamado Pikachu(Inicialmente o pequeno amarelo demostra muita hostilidade por Ash, mas os dois vão se dando bem em episódios posteriores). Daí Ash conhece outros treinadores, tais como Misty e Brock, vivendo aventuras e confusões, principalmente por causa dos confrontos com a equipe Rocket. Mas nem tudo são flores, pois o anime teve alguns de seus episódios banidos, ou censurados, por apresentar conteúdo um pouco indecente, ou impróprio para crianças, como sexualismo, racismo, exposição de armas e até mesmo referência a ataques terroristas, como é o caso dos atentados do 11 de setembro de 2001, que deixaram diversos mortos... 

IL 018 - Férias em Acapulco(Banido em todo o mundo)

Razão do banimento: Tendências Sexuais Explícitas

Férias em Acapulco é o 18º episódio da série japonesa original. Foi originalmente ignorado pela 4Kids Entertainment na transmissão americana original da série até 2000. Em 24 de junho de 2000, uma versão em inglês do episódio foi ao ar no Kids 'WB como "Beauty and the Beach". Neste episódio, todas as personagens femininas participam de um concurso de beleza. A equipe Rocket também entra, com James vestindo um traje com seios infláveis, e tirando sarro de Misty. Este episódio nunca foi televisionado no Brasil. 

IL 019 - Tentacool e TentaCruel(Banido nos EUA, temporariamente)

Razão do banimento: Menção a Ataques Terroristas

O Episódio Tentacool e Tentacruel foi banido temporariamente dos EUA em razão dos atentados terroristas de 11 de setembro de 2001, e porque o episódio mostra cenas de Tentacruel destruindo prédios. Também foi banido por apresentar cenas em que Nastina também usou armas de estilo militar durante as cenas de luta no episódio. No entanto, Tentacruel atingindo um prédio não foi removido do tema de abertura da versão inglesa, e o episódio ainda está disponível nos mercados de vídeo caseiro e DVD. O episódio foi ao ar um mês após os ataques de 11 de setembro e não foi exibido nos EUA novamente até que a série passou a ser exibida no Cartoon Network e no Boomerang. Também não foi mostrado por um curto período de tempo em 2005, após o desastre natural do furacão Katrina, ao retratar uma cidade inundada debaixo d'água.

IL 023 - A Torre do Terror(Banido nos EUA, Temporariamente)

Razão do banimento: Menção a ataques terroristas

O Episódio “A Torre do Terror” foi banido temporariamente dos EUA em razão dos atentados do 11 de setembro e por causa do que o título do episódio sugere. O episódio mostra Ash e seus amigos viajando para Lavender Town para pegar um Pokémon Fantasma na Torre Pokémon. Ash Ketchum e seu Pokémon, Pikachu, misteriosamente 'morreram' durante esse episódio e assombraram seus amigos com os Pokémon do tipo fantasma, Gastly, Haunter e Gengar, muito antes de seus espíritos retornarem aos seus corpos.

OI 002 - Um Susto no Ar(Banido nos EUA, Temporariamente)

Razão: menção a ataques terroristas 

No episódio 2 da Segunda Temporada, Orange Islands, que dentro da série tem a numeração 084, Ash Ketchum e seus amigos, Misty e Brock, vencem uma loteria em Valencia Island e recebem como prêmio um passeio de dirigível. Os heróis vêem o dirigível gigante. Misty percebe que é velho, mas Ash garante que não há nada errado. Dois homens os ouviram e contaram histórias, pois o dirigível é assombrado. De repente, a Equipe Rocket, como anfitriã do dirigível, aparece e empurra os heróis para o dirigível, dizendo que não há fantasmas nesse dirigível. Depois que os heróis (e a Equipe Rocket) embarcaram no dirigível, Jigglypuff aparece e vê uma alavanca como um pedestal de microfone. Jigglypuff pula sobre ele, mas acidentalmente o empurra, fazendo com que o dirigível suba, e aí começa uma sucessão de eventos desesperadores. Por causa dos ataques de 11 de setembro, o nome deste episódio teve que ser alterado de "Um susto no ar" para "Espíritos no céu", uma referência ao Spirit in the Sky, para executá-lo novamente com a referida brecha. Isso foi temporário.

IL 035 - A lenda de Dratini(Banido no mundo todo)

Razões: Tendências nazistas e uso de armas

O episódio “A Lenda de Dratini”, conhecido em sua versão original japonesa como Miniryū no Densetsu(ミニリュウのでんせつ), foi o segundo episódio a ser banido pela 4Kids Entertainment. Este foi o 35º episódio da série japonesa original. O episódio foi banido globalmente, menos no Japão, principalmente porque Kaiser(e outras pessoas), foram mostrados apontando armas para Ash, e também porque Meowth ostentava um bigode similar ao de Adolf Hitler, como referência ao nazismo. Um grande problema desse episódio é o fato de que Ash Ketchum havia supostamente capturado 29 Tauros, então, na sequência do anime, não foi explicado aonde ele conseguiu capturar tantos Tauros...

IL 004 - O Desafio do samurai(Banido na Coreia do Sul)

No quarto episódio da primeira temporada de Pokémon, Ash e Misty encontram um garoto samurai, que quer testar as habilidades de Ash. Embora o episódio tenha sido exibido sem nenhum problema no resto do mundo, inclusive no Brasil, foi proibido na Coréia do Sul por causa da representação de um samurai. Por causa disso, o público sul-coreano não saberia exatamente quando Metapod evoluiu para Butterfree, em razão de Caterpie ter evoluído para Metapod no episódio "Clefairy and the Moon Stone".

IL 065 - Feriado à la Jynx (Banido em países ocidentais)

A principal polêmica o episódio Holiday Hi-Jynx foi a primeira aparição do pokémon Jynx, como uma visão estereotipada de mulheres negras, denotando racismo. Depois desse episódio, a escritora norte-americana Carole Boston Weatherford escreveu um artigo chamado “Politically Incorrect Pokémon” para a revista Black World Today, fazendo críticas pesadas sobre Jynx. Em resposta, a Nintendo mudou a tonalidade preta de pele de Jynx para púrpura. Quando o episódio voltou a circular normalmente, foi colocado na posição de número 65, causando diversos erros de continuidade... 

Ep. 252 - a Caverna de Gelo(Banido em países ocidentais, exceto o Brasil)

Ash e seus amigos entram na caverna de gelo, pois é um atalho para Blackthorn City. Depois de uma briga com a Equipe Rocket, em que Ash e seus companheiros levam banho de água fria, Brock pega um resfriado e a turma encontra um Pokémon Center na caverna. Enquanto uma Jynx trabalhando lá está cuidando de Brock, a Enfermeira Joy diz a Ash e Misty que a caverna está fria por causa de um grande edifício trabalhando lá como um refrigerador. A Equipe Rocket encontra o prédio e causa problemas ao inverter a estrutura, aquecendo a caverna e refrescando a selva do lado de fora. O episódio foi banido principalmente por causa da aparência do estereótipo racial de Jynx, que parece ofender muitas pessoas nos Estados Unidos, afro-americanas e principalmente porque Brock, em seus delírios, confundiu Jynx com a Enfermeira Joy, dando-lhe um beijo forte. Por esse motivo, o episódio não foi dublado pela 4Kids Entertainment. No Brasil, foi exibido normalmente. 

Ep. 348 - Quanto Mais Brigas, Melhor!(Banido na França, Itália e Egito)

Razão do banimento: Guerra dos Sexos e Temas Maduros

O episódio 348 de Pokémon já começa com uma discussão entre Ash e May, devido à demora da garota em se arrumar para a viagem. Como resultado, os dois brigam o episódio inteiro, até que um casal de treinadores Oscar e Andi, repentinamente aparecem. Eles pensam que Ash e May estejam apaixonados, alegando que todos que estão brigando estão apaixonados. Assim, Oscar e Andi os desafiam para uma Batalha de Tags. Ash e May aceitam a batalha como uma prática da batalha e do concurso da academia. Andi e Oscar explicam as regras e Brock tenta se engraçar pro lado de Andi, prometendo que ele será o juiz da batalha, mas é detido por Max. Andi envia Nidoqueen e Oscar Nidoking. Ash envia Corphish e May tenta pensar para quem enviar. Ash perde a paciência, mas May leva um tempo e decide enviar Skitty para a batalha. Corphish usa Bubble Beam e Skitty Assist, que é Ember. No entanto, os ataques de Skitty e Corphish chegaram a um ponto, negando os dois ataques. Corphish está com raiva de Skitty, que também usa Ember em Corphish. May e Ash continuam discutindo, já que os ataques de seus Pokémon se anularam. Nidoqueen e Nidoking usam Dynamic Punch, machucando os dois. Corphish está prestes a usar o BubbleBeam, mas Skitty usa a habilidade Blizzard, que acidentalmente congela  Corphish. Skitty usa o Assist novamente, mas acaba usando String Shot. May entra em pânico, já que ela queria que Ember fosse usada, mas Max ressalta que mesmo Skitty não sabe qual será o movimento. Skitty usa Assist novamente, utilizando Silver Wind, e fazendo Corphish se transformar em uma estátua de gelo. Skitty usa o Assist mais uma vez e se utiliza Ember novamente, descongelando e queimando Corphish. Corphish persegue Skitty novamente, deixando May tão brava com Ash por não ter detido Corphish, embora Ash a revide que Skitty congelou Corphish seco. Nidoqueen e Nidoking usam Submission, combinando seus ataques, que atingem Corphish e Skitty, derrotando os dois. Curiosamente Jessie e James da equipe Rocket também foram derrotados por Oscar e Andi e começam a brigar... Como resultado, Ash passa para o lado de James e May para o lado de Jessie e enquanto as duplas brigam entre si, Meowth, aproveitando-se da situação, tenta sequestrar Pikachu, mas o plano fracassa por intervenção Ash e May, que perceberam imediatamente as intenções dele e deixaram suas diferenças de lado para vencer a Equipe Rocket, que mais uma vez decolou aos ares. No final, Ash e May fazem as pazes e o grupo continua sua jornada. Porque o episódio foi banido? Bem, em alguns países, o clímax foi considerado muito ofensivo por tratar de temas maduros como Guerra dos Sexos e romance...

IL 038 - O Soldado Elétrico Porygon(Banido mundialmente)

Razões do banimento: Cenas estroboscópicas que causaram epilepsia

O episódio “O Soldado Elétrico Porygon” conhecido em sua versão original como Dennō Senshi Porigon(でんのうせんしポリゴン), foi ao ar na TV Tokyo no Japão em 16 de dezembro de 1997 às 18:30, horário padrão do Japão. Na marca de 20 minutos do episódio, há uma cena em que Pikachu destrói alguns mísseis de vacinas antivírus com seu ataque de raios. Embora houvesse partes semelhantes no episódio com flashes vermelho e azul, uma técnica de anime chamada "paka paka" tornou essa cena extremamente intensa, pois esses flashes eram luzes estroboscópicas extremamente brilhantes, com piscadas a uma taxa de cerca de 12 Hz por cerca de 5 segundos em quase tela cheia e, em seguida, por 2 segundos em tela cheia. Nesse ponto, os espectadores começaram a reclamar de visão embaçada, dores de cabeça, tontura e náusea. Algumas pessoas até tiveram sonolência, cegueira, convulsões e perda de consciência. A Agência de Defesa Contra Incêndios do Japão informou que um total de 685 espectadores, 310 meninos e 375 meninas, foram levados para hospitais por ambulâncias. Embora muitas vítimas tenham se recuperado durante a viagem de ambulância, mais de 150 delas foram internadas em hospitais. Duas pessoas permaneceram hospitalizadas por mais de 2 semanas. Algumas outras pessoas tiveram convulsões quando partes da cena foram retransmitidas durante reportagens sobre os ataques epilépticos. Apenas uma pequena fração das 685 crianças tratadas foi diagnosticada com epilepsia fotossensível. As notícias do incidente se espalharam rapidamente pelo Japão. No dia seguinte, a emissora de televisão que transmitiu o episódio, a TV Tokyo, pediu desculpas ao povo japonês, suspendeu o programa e disse que iria investigar a causa dos ataques epiléticos. Oficiais que agiam sob ordens da Agência Nacional de Polícia questionaram os produtores de Pokémon sobre o conteúdo e o processo de produção do desenho animado. Pokémon saiu do ar por quatro meses, retornando em abril de 1998, com novas regras definidas para que um incidente similar ao do episódio de Porygon nunca se repetisse...

Oggi(ieri) io e l'amico con cui mi confido di più siamo andati al Nerd Show Bologna. Quella tazza di Life Is Strange era carina e ho voluto farci una foto. Ho comprato un pupazzo di Haunter. Abbiamo pranzato al sacco: mi sono preparato un panino e del riso prima di partire. Abbiamo finito di esplorare i tre padiglioni della fiera. Il Lucca Comics rimane imbattuto ma il tipo di ambiente mi piace sempre molto. Mi ha fatto piacere vedere delle postazioni da gioco disponibili per chiunque. Era possibile provare giochi da vecchie console, da Switch e da Xbox Series S. Prima di tornare in Toscana siamo andati a Faenza perché il mio amico voleva del raviggiolo. Una signora anziana con il deambulatore in un supermercato mi ha chiesto con parole a me rimaste incomprese di prenderle due confezioni in alto su uno scaffale.

Abbiamo fatto una fermata a casa del mio amico per sistemarci un minimo e andare dagli altri. Sua mamma e sua nonna volevano parlare con me, ho cercato di essere il più tranquillo possibile.

Lì alla casa al mare abbiamo mangiato la pizza mentre le zanzare mangiavano noi, poi siamo usciti per fare un giro a Marina di Cecina. C'erano veramente tante persone. Ci siamo fermati in un bar dove io ho preso uno smoothie. Un cameriere che ci ha portato l'acqua in bottigliette di plastica ha fatto l'errore di posizionarle in piedi sul vassoio, infatti gli sono cascate, una proprio a terra. L'ho capito perfettamente. Dopo il bar gli altri sono tornati a casa mentre noi siamo montati in macchina per tornare qui. Ho rischiato di addormentarmi tutto il tempo. Probabilmente se avessi dovuto guidare io la tensione mi avrebbe tenuto sveglio ma da passeggero è stata dura non chiudere gli occhi.

Bella giornata insomma. Sono le 3.13, fra circa 15 ore e venti sono di turno. Dai che lavorato domani ricomincio venerdì in teoria.
