The siren cheerfully chirped out at the wolf, simultaneously waving a bunny-eared headband in his direction.

Attempts to escape the processions had failed rather miserably, seeing how she had been double-teamed by Lin Fa and Nancy and forced to join the festivities. They also took the liberty of shoving her into a pair of her own bunny ears, which was precisely why she was here pestering Hatori.

Because damn all to the seven hells, if she was going down, she was going to drag his ass down with her.

"Just hold still! It’s not like it’s gonna hurt you or anything."

Once again the red-haired woman stood on her tippy toes, desperately trying to reach up and place the accessory on his head.

Hatori coughed loudly in order to gain the woman's attention. "I am most likely the wrong person to offer advice on... your insomnia problem. But I've heard vocal-less music tends to help one get to sleep. I also heard that wearing more layers to warm yourself up makes you drowsy, enabling you to fall asleep quicker. I haven't done either one to be fair. Can't hurt to try... right?"

"Hm... That sounds pleasant... I'll give the first a try... But I can't do the latter since Forte steals most of the sheets at night." She gave a small smile then stifled an oncoming yawn. "Maybe I should sleep on the couch for a few nights as if I were in the dog house." She joked.

A small fist wrapped on the window of Hatori’s door, something that was becoming a routine for the siren. It seemed this time was a bit different though, if her constant fidgeting and the small wrapped box in her hand. Whatever it was, she set it down on the floor and took off before the male could actually open the door. The box was a tiny little thing, decorated only with a light blue bow and a tag with 'Hatori' scrawled out in neat lettering. Inside was a strange symbol carved out of wood and glazed, which was attached to a black stringlike cord. It was obviously meant to be worn as a necklace. Underneath the gift was a tiny note with the same neat handwriting: "For a dear friend- It's a symbol of protection, carved it myself, hope you like it. Happy birthday and stay safe ~Nezumi"
