Had I expected to be roped into a press conference I would have left my audio receptors charging at home.

But since you've already cornered me here I'llll do you a kindness and byte.

For the sake of your argument let's imagine that I, an inorganic facsimile of Alternian life, had been programmed for romance. My lack of biological material to contribute alone would provide a substantial risk to my partners and I.

It would be a strange curse to bear when reproduction is so fraught for even the mosTBiologicalllly normative Alternians.

It's in everyone's best interest to have a little charisma, and I am no exception! ;;;;D

Hashyl is the kind of character you make on a whim as a break from your main project who winds up being the recipient of a TON of writing and heart (because you havent stretched your limbs in a while) and then sits on a shelf with nowhere to go. While I'm very proud of the little reasons Hijinx writes the way she does, I also wanted her to be so opaque to balance out the fact that Hashyl's quirk is almost rare in conversation.
