i (shamefully) am not an amanda-guy and dont have pretty much any headcanons about her overall so sorry about that but ill do some bullet points for the apprentices bc ive thought TOO MUCH abt this

adam

1. the most obvious PDA manifestation, though i think its strong in mark and lawrence for sure, adam just doesnt mask his. he pretty much built his life around maximizing free will and full control over his schedule

2. constantly reducing sensory input with music and being baked. his apartment is dead silent and dark 24/7 tho

3. honestly i think adam has shocking high levels of empathy. most people in his life wouldnt peg him as someone who would struggle with that but i think its what sets him apart from nearly every saw character. hes so isolated but desperate to understand and connect with other people, even if hes in the shadows

4. studies high class targets and their mannerisms. it helped him function during a few job interviews

5. hates eating, hates effort so pretty much eats like shit. very few specific, cheap, prepackaged meals that he can handle. anything that isnt a time commitment to prepare and eat

6. talks too much to overcompensate (not sure if people are able to understand what hes getting at and ends up rambling)

lawrence

1. i hc him as a narc as well which (as you can imagine) combined with PDA makes instruction/criticism/responsibility stressful so hes constantly overloaded

2. same as above, combined with asd i think its the biggest reason he has that canonical low empathy (similar to mark)

3. can only eat incredibly plain and simple foods. rice, bread, vegetables without butters/oils etc. very picky

4. very little auditory sensory issues after so many years in a hospital and needs noise in order to function (including sleep)

5. started wearing pajamas under his suits after a few years in residency because hes already tired 24/7, the terrible fabric on top of that just makes him insane

6. struggled through med school because lectures are hard to interpret and hes more of a visual learner

7. so much eye contact

8. remember that dog picture in his wallet we see for like 5 seconds? i cant imagine someone like him enjoying the texture or sporadic energy of a dog and makes it sleep in dianas room at night. its not allowed in the office and he meticulously cleans all of the dog hair the second he sees any

and for simon...beyblade metal series ohhhh he'd think it's so dumb and complain about it but when i go to turn it off suddenly it's "no wait i gotta know what gingka's gonna do about ryuga". invested but still pretends he doesn't give af

this is such a hard choice omg...

for lestat im thinking possibly a very flashy, rare bird. i don't really know different types but my old english teacher had one that was technically illegal to own in the US but her mother bought it before this law was made so now she just has it and something about that feels so fitting for him. bird that is illegal and flashy, can talk shit and steal from you, but will also pluck out ur enemies eyes. he'd have a very detailed, high end fursuit ofc.

stan would also be a bird for the obvious reasons. maybe a bluejay? or a cardinal? not too uncommon but still very beautiful and loved. uncommon enough where people are still excited when they see em. his fursuit would be hyperrealistic and maybe a bit unsettling but mostly made by himself bc he knows a thing or two about putting together a high quality suit. ben would help with the ventilation and fans part.

for simon the instant thought is opposum, followed by ferret and raccoon. all feel fitting but i think opposum works best. freaky big weirdos who love a good chomp. can be a bit ugly but it adds to the charm. rummages through trash for goods. no fursuit but def has a tail.

so for simon id say none bc i think he'd very much be a no labels who gives af do whatever you want forever kinda guy. technically he'd be bisexual but you'd be hard pressed to get him to say anything that wasn't along the lines of "ill take whatevers offered" or something something yeah im a faggot something something and id fuck ur girl something something but he'd also probably have some gender fuckery that could fall under xenogender if he looked into it. i think he'd be fine with literally any pronouns he's just never thought about it and doesn't mind just getting called he/him either.

for stan, no xenogenders or microlabels specifically, its just another thing with fluid sexuality and gender where it's like idk what i am but getting called other pronouns doesn't bother him, he'd be a bit fond of fae pronouns in his teen years i think but idk if it'd stick as he grew and changed identity wise. in terms of sexuality besides being poly and mostly using queer as his label (maybe he'll use bisexual depending on the crowd), i don't rly think he has much going on there.

now lestat is the outlier bc while i don't rly have specific xenogenders picked for him i know there's more pronouns past he/she/they that would appeal to him, he just isn't a fan of ANY pronouns so he mostly uses those 3. in current days i think he'd probably rabbit hole and then come to me like "i will now be using it/xe/heart/etc etc" at like 3 in the morning and then continue on that sorta path for a bit before finally feeling like he's relearned himself a bit. in terms of microlabels, i think his bpd would probably affect how he views his sexuality, so let's chuck hyperromantic in there (not sure if that counts as a microlabel but shrug). he might also consider himself androromantic.

incoming ramble feel free to skip but...

tbh a lot of my f/o's are listed as bi or queer or only using he/him just bc i genuinely do not think they'd care but if they had to choose a label it'd be that one, if that makes sense. a lot of my labels for my f/o's are decided by age (the older they are the more likely they are to use bi over queer or pan), year their media is set in (if it's the 2000s they still might be averse to certain labels, not have heard of them or not had the ability to explore gender) and their general attitude (would they even care about labels to begin with or is it just a fuckfest for them). which is why we have f/o's like adrian (30s, show set in 2022 i believe, would know about social media past facebook and probably use it, positive attitudes towards queerness as a general subject) with the pansexual label vs simon (late 90s to early 2000s setting, in his early 20s, uses fag as an insult but would also kiss a guy) with the queer label bc i think he'd refuse to label himself despite being comfortable in his fluid sexuality but would, realistically, be pansexual. same with him having he/him pronouns bc i just don't think he'd bother exploring other pronouns bc he doesn't have dysphoria, but if somebody were to randomly she/they him he might be like "oh okay i kinda like that". rly the only exception to this rule is demi and trans labels bc i think those are sorta integral to how i read those characters. daryl wouldn't call himself demisexual or demiromantic, but he'd call himself bisexual over any other label. so i label him as bi and slap the demi on bc it's pretty key to the irvixon lore. same with billy who'd never admit to being trans or call himself demi but to me he is and that's lore relevant so i put it down. idk if this system makes any sense to anyone else but what im saying is that the labels in my carrd can be very different to how i ACTUALLY view their gender/sexuality.

so lestat's is obviously rarity bc that's twin BUT he'd have a mega soft spot for applejack me thinks

stan is very twilight coded but i think that's exactly why she WOULDNT be his fave...i think he'd lean towards pinkie or rainbow (both remind him of richie at times) or fluttershy (who doesn't love her)

and simon is a fluttershy girl idc idc!!!! he thinks fluttershy and discord are cute together too

I am not completely against the possibility of Kanej having kids; I think it’s possible, but for it to make sense with their characters it would have to:

a.) be far into the future. Years and years from where they are currently in the timeline

b.) their characters would have had to actively been progressing in their healing process across the course of those years, which IS WHAT WE’RE HOPING TO SEE (cough cough SOC 3)

c.) I don’t think their child would be planned. That could mean two things, depending, once again, on where they’ve gotten in their healing process: sudden adoption (which doesn’t seem far-fetched for Ketterdam since the government doesn’t do anything to help its parent-less children) or the kid’s an accident

d.) Either way, Kaz would be the one to have a really difficult time wrapping his head around the thought of him being a parent. Inej might also struggle, but the support of her entire family would help (the kid would have some awesome acrobat grandparents). It wouldn’t really sink in for Kaz until he literally holds his kid for the first time, and then it clicks. He wouldn’t really know how to place the strong emotions he feels at first, but I rly think he would love their child more than he thought capable of himself loving anyone other than Inej

e.) AND THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT: they would move out of Ketterdam right after she (I see them with a daughter) is born, completing Kaz’s character arc because he’s finally leaving the city that he made (almost) everything to him because it took everything from him. Kaz Brekker achieved everything he sought out to do in Ketterdam. The only surprise is, that he now gets to be free at the end. So he sells the Crow Club, the Silver Six, and everything with it. And as he and Inej and their daughter sail away and he watches it disappear on the horizon, the city seems so much smaller than he ever thought.

f.) this is my personal take, but I think they’d join the Suli with Inej’s family in Ravka. It’s a life of movement (I can’t see them settling-down settling down) and Inej gets to raise their daughter the way she was raised, a childhood full of joy and love (that kid would also be a killer acrobat in the future) and Kaz and Inej would go to the ends of the world to keep her safe and protect her.

g.) And just like that, Kaz Brekker is dead. Not actually dead of course (pls, I’m not Leigh Bardugo writing SOC 3 (which better stay a joke)) but he dies when Kaz leaves Ketterdam, in the same way Kaz Rietveld died in the harbor

h.) Kaz and Inej didn’t plan on getting married. They’re already in love, everybody knows it, a ceremony won’t change anything. But Inej’s parents insist on a proper Suli ceremony, and Inej wants to humor them, Kaz is only a tiny bit horrified at the idea, but if Inej is in, so is he

i.) the wedding is small and low-key at the Suli settlement, but of course the guest list includes Jesper, Wylan, their family, everyone’s favorite DILF Colm Fahey (for legal reasons that is a joke), Nina, Hanne, and even Nikolai and Zoya BECAUSE KAZ AND NIKOLAI ARE FRIENDS I DON’T MAKE THE RULES. I also feel like Kuwei would somehow find out and crash the after party because…, he’s Kuwei? And obviously Inej’s parents and Kaz and Inej’s daughter

j.) Kaz hadn’t planned on taking another last name. He’d just been Kaz, but then Inej’s father, who’s conducting the ceremony, refers to him as “Kaz Ghafa” before they make their vows and yeah, that sounds right. He’ll stick with that.

k.) things aren’t perfect after that, but they do their best, for each other, for their daughter, to be people their teenage-selves wouldn’t recognize, would never have expected to be in their future. Their trauma doesn’t just go away. Kaz still finds skin-to-skin contact hard sometimes, but the gloves are long gone. Inej sometimes fears for their daughter because of what happened to her. But for every bad day, there are more good ones, and they’re still capable of getting better

Bonus: they name their daughter Kruge

For legal reasons, that is also a joke (but her middle name is Jordie)

favorite thing about them: oof where do i start?? her character is very personal to me. i really struggled with chronic depression & anxiety in my teen years & immersing myself in her world was a real escape for me. at that time (& still to this day tbh) she was just it for me lmao. like, she had all the qualities i admired in a female character. shes drop dead gorgeous, intelligent, headstrong, has a dry & witty sense of humor, and she was so driven to do what made herself happy that she was willing to die trying. i rly saw her as a role model during those years & kinda adopted her personality in a way. & because i started watching inuyasha at such a young age (i think 10/11) she kinda stuck with me all my life lmao. ANYWAYS TL;DR SHE’S LIKE REALLY PRETTY

least favorite thing about them: i adore her to my core but shes very impulsive by nature and made some pretty big mistakes that led to her untimely death imo. yes, her entire character arc is heartbreakingly beautiful and i appreciate it for what it is BUT her character had the potential to grow and change so much & i dont think it was really necessary for her to die. i see a lot of people (esp u know who) say that kagura got her freedom and her peace and all this but honestly what happened to her is not what she wanted at all lmao?? she wanted to be alive girl. and with how open the rules of the inuyashaverse are there are like 9000 ways she could have been saved/brought back and become a key player in the storyline. and the potential for sesskagu would fall still in line with sesshomaru’s character development in the main series. obviously his affection for her really changed him in a pivotal way and he would still struggle with his pride considering the fact that her dad is literally the shittiest dude ever and set his arm on fire ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

smiley ten facts face for Jess and the bois?

under the read more for length! so sorry for the delay ;) i’ll be doing facts for jess + zazz, mal, and khal as a group.

Jess is the Glue of this group. The first to join was Zazz, who was as much a little shit as she was when she was pranking people; then Mal when she decided to try and repair their relationship; finally Khalil in Jess’ smooching adventures. 

Their first impressions were…. mixed. At first Zazz thought Jess was cool then he thought she was a Big Nerd. He loves her. He disliked rich boy Mal and then Khal at first, but he has a grumpy acceptance of them now. Mal was initially terrified of Jess but then he was rly impressed by this poor girl who punched him and tried to be friends with him. He loves her. He really likes Zazz’s dry sense of humor and snarky remarks. They bicker back and forth and it’s great. They love it. Mal was initially Intimidated by Khalil’s Chill but then he learned he should use some tucked in shirts and realized that Khalil’s Chill is actually very Chill. He loves Khalil’s Chill. Khalil was at first really amused at how this group with these different people work, and he loves them for that and for taking him in. Khalil is really reclusive so he likes that he now has a group of people that take him in. He loves them all.

They have No Idea of what she’s doing at any moment. Mostly they’ve learned to just roll with it. Zazzer has no patience, Khalil is amused, Mal is worried. They have bets on how long this phase will last. Usually Zazzer wins, but now Malcolm has Inside Knowledge and wins instead.

Outside of the group, Malcolm and Khalil will eventually (in relation to my posting) get along really well.

Khalil is the chillest of the group. This boy has Chill for everyone. They all take shelter under his wing.

From youngest to oldest, it goes Zazzer > Jessamine > Malcolm > Khalil. The differences aren’t more than 1-3 years between them.

Jess wants them to be A Group, but doesn’t know what they would do together.

Work wise, Jess is currently unemployed/constantly changing jobs; Zazzer is a youtube gamer; Khalil works as a software engineer; Malcolm is navigating political waters.

The only time Zazzer eats vegetables is when he eats at Jess’….. Zazz please……

Khalil and Zazzer share an intense love for gaming, but love watching Jess and Mal play because they are n00bs. Mal eventually relents and asks them for some tips. He still loses to Jess.

a leader, tbh. i’d like to think i’m good at planning and motivating people to get moving on their tasks. as a follower, i always have suggestions as to how to make the plan more feasible, and eventually end up becoming the leader anyway.

i’m a quiet, spaced out drunk. i look like the type to fall asleep at any moment, but i’d liven up the moment you talk to me. at parties, i’m usually one of those people at the sidelines, just watching the others at the beginning. at the end, i’m with my friends doing something we’d most likely get suspended for lol

15. Do you fall in love easily? Or does it usually take a long time for you to trust someone?:

it depends on the person, i think. i catch feelings fairly easily if i think you’re cute, but actually falling in love would take prob a year from me, at least. i give my trust out quickly, but it’s not the kind of trust where i’d tell you all my deepest thoughts. it’s more of a, “yeah i’ll take you at your word, i don’t generally think you’’re shady” kind.

16. Would you rather have one close friend or 100 casual friends?: 

aaaaaaaaaaaa i’m torn! talking to one person all day all the time can be tiring and draining, but having a ton of casual friends means not rly having someone to vent to, or someone to bounce ideas off of. i guess right now, i’m leaning towards the latter, simply because if you have a hundred casual friends online, it’ll be less awkward to talk about ‘deep’ things because chances are, you don’t know each other in real life lol

17. Do you consider yourself to be more of a slob or a neat-freak?: 

both!!! i can be very organized and clean in the beginning, but then i get lazy to put whatever it is back to where i got it and i end up having a moderately organized messy work table.

18. Describe a place (imaginary or real) that you would find incredibly cozy: 

sunlight pouring in through the slits of the window shades, making the room less dim. a white comforter on white sheets and black pillows, my laptop on top and hot tea on the bedside table, along with my phone. the air conditioner is on, the temperature matches perfect sweater weather. alternatively, cold wind blows in through the window.

i don’t, and sometimes i think i want two of them! but who knows, everything changes.

get into medical school and get my license, despite our financial stance. i always thought being a doctor or a lawyer was boring, but now being a doctor has a certain appeal to me. i’d love to help people through their sicknesses and help them feel and be better.

i almost always speak my mind, and generally push aside any hesitance if it’s ‘controversial’, except of course if i don’t know much about what the issue is. i only choose to stay quiet when i know my opinion isn’t going to get through to whoever it is i’m talking to.

10. Who is your Shepard’s best friend and why?

rain’s is garrus, particularly in 2 when he’s the first person she’s got on the ship who’s not a stranger and/or part of cerberus, who knew her before she died. he and tali are her anchors on that trip for sure. they kinda remind her shes the same person she was before her body was 70 percent cerberus tech, and they keep doin that for her in 3 when ash/kaidan is like “bluugh ur not the Real shepard ur a cerberus weapon or what the fuck ever” (dont get me wrong i love ash n kaidan and there’s a version of events where cale shepard is dating both of them and they’re all alive and happy in my head, but rain was never super close with either of them). also garrus and rain and tali play off of each other rly well and have similar senses of humor so they’re the ones she goes and finds when she just wants to kick it and chill

32: tell us a story of something that happened to you after 3AM when you were with friends.

on election night we were watching the returns come in and right as they were about to call it we went out to the white house and everyone had left at that point and the lights were out so we broke the news of who won to a secret service officer and she watched the acceptance speech with us and then we went to the washington monument and just sat there against the monument talking until we went home at like 5 am

one time we watched teeth at 3:30am and it was such a funny movie we all just. chilled out and watched it and it was so much fun

one time these two boys came into our lounge and they were pretty drunk and our RA came in to send them away but we decided to mess with them instead and like. molly made this disgusting drink it had red pepper flakes and coke and soy sauce and olive oil like it was Nasty and we were like ‘here drink this we drink it all the time’ and they were like ‘no you dont’ and i took a sip of it (BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE IT WAS SO GROSS AND STAYED IN MY MOUTH FOR A MILLION YEARS) so now it was a challenge to their masculinity and they both started CHUGGING it and it was so gross to watch and they were acting like it was the best thing in the world and then we started convincing them we were a living learning community for some weird religion and we had all these ridiculous rituals anyways it was so much fun

2. **Did your Warden match Zevran’s lighthearted attitude or were they more serious? What sort of relationship did they have?** - started out lighthearted when they first met but she grew more serious as her depression started 
3. **What did your Warden know of the Crows before meeting Zevran? What did they think of the Crows afterward?** - I'd bet she'd never even heard of them before meeting them, she wasn't rly into textbook studying about history or... anything. Probably doesn't have much of an opinion on them after since he's like the only one she ever meets
4. **Did Zevran betray your Warden? How did they feel in the aftermath of Zevran’s decision?** - I think he did when I played her? Don't think it's canon tho
5. **How well did your Warden keep in contact with Zevran after the Blight? Did they ever see him again?** - probably not very well, they were good friends but not exceptionally close? They'd keep in contact sure but not very often Alistair

Were they close due to their shared experiences as Grey Wardens?** - tbh i imagine she's super uneasy around Alistair for the majority of the blight bc of his Templar past & supportiveness and his comments during the broken circle. Honestly the only reason she'd wanna speak to him is about warden experiences 
2. **Did Alistair’s parentage surprise your Warden? How did your Warden’s feelings on the nobility affect their relationship with Alistair?** Surprise? Ye. Also piss her off? Very ye. She was stressed enough without having to lead a king's bastard

Of Leliana bc of her beliefs? A little, the whole vision from the maker think made her a little apprehensive

3. **If your Warden received Leliana’s personal quest, what did they choose to do with Marjolaine and why?** - probably killed her tbh, she came to care for Leliana at least a little & she knew that Marjolaine might not leave her alone after so
4. **Did your Warden believe that Leliana was telling the truth about her vision from the Maker or were they skeptical? ** - v v v skeptical lmao, especially since most of what she's heard of the maker and andraste for most of her life is "we're gonna lock u away permanently bc of what u were born as bc they told us to in our religious books"
5. **How well did your Warden get along with Leliana? What was their relationship like?** - well enough in the end, listening to Leliana talk & tell stories was probably pretty nice & it turns out they agreed with a lot about how the chantry functions, tho not everything Sten
1. **Had your Warden ever met a Qunari before Sten? What did they expect?** - definitely not tbh? I'm not sure she'd ever even met a dwarf before either, idk if dwarves visit circles a lot or if lyrium trade is done outside a circle 
2. **What did your Warden think of Sten’s beliefs that people’s roles are determined at birth? Did they agree?** - reminded her a lot of how the circle told her she should live her life so. Did not agree in the slightest, but didn't argue cause it's an entirely different culture 
3. **Did your Warden retrieve Sten’s sword? Did your Warden’s choice to give it to him or withhold it affect their relationship with Sten at all?** - probably returned it to him, didn't rly see a reason not to especially when it wasn't hard to get
4. **How did your Warden speak to Sten? Did they fight with him often or were they more humorous in their responses?** - probably wouldn't wanna fight with him, so was either just curious or more humorous 
5. **Was your Warden amused by Sten’s love of cookies?** EhOghren

3. **What was the fate of Branka? If she was killed, was your Warden regretful? How did they act around Oghren afterwards?** - definitely killed her tbh, but wasn't very regretful. Was no fan of having to take lives to make golems. Probably didn't change around Oghren, he creeps her out still
4. **What was the relationship between your Warden and Oghren? Were they friendly or merely reluctant companions?** - reluctant companions honestly, she doesn't like his casual alcoholism or the creepy comments and looks he gives morrigan (& maybe Leliana? Idk)
5. **Did your Warden stay on good terms with Oghren after the Blight? If Oghren got back together with Felsi, did your Warden ever go to meet Oghren’s child, who was named after the Warden?** - definitely did not stay on good terms but was willing to work with him when he came to join the wardens. Might've gotten him back together with Felsi but never met the kid Morrigan
1. **What was your Warden’s first impression of Morrigan? Did they trust her or were they cautious around her?** This closeted & unawakened bisexual definitely thought morrigan was extremely hot, no doubt about it. But did trust her simply cause, as per her logic, if morrigan wanted them dead she'd have been able to do it far sooner than they'd met, but was a little cautious for the sake of her companions
2. **Did your Warden agree to help Morrigan kill Flemeth? Why or why not?** - agreed to help but didn't actually do it maybe? Or maybe she did do it but apprehensively, simply because she'd never heard of or maybe even didn't believed in magic that could let one human possess another 
3. **How close was your Warden to Morrigan? Did your Warden respect her abilities as a witch of the wilds?** - not sure if they were close, but she definitely liked Morrigan for sure & respected her, tho their views on helping people were totally different. Learnt shape-shifting from her
