Imagine giving the eels the silent treatment (whether as a joke or because you’re genuinely cross with them) and so they resort to looking at you like that the whole day, hoping it will convince you into talking to them. Pleading at you with those big, ol eyes. Won’t you speak to them? :< they just wish to hear your voice or even an acknowledgment of their presence? Please?

You have to strengthen your resolve and restraint because who could deny those eyes!!!!! They’re surprisingly cute despite being such menaces… ;;;

We had so much written about this very topic! Malleus would be so thrilled and desperate when he realizes his dearest friend is also his sibling. Especially knowing that Yuu is stuck in a human form.

And to build off of what @harzilla said about Malleus wanting to make an idyllic dreamworld of only happy fantasies and contentment, it would only end poorly.

Because from what we’ve seen in Floyd’s dreamworld, they’re all built on what Malleus thinks people want but he struggles to fully understand others. So Floyd is left miserably swimming in circles in the ocean because getting everything he wants handed to him on a platter is boring and he wants to experience struggle along with success. And Malleus is managing hundreds of thousands of dreams, so some are more hastily constructed than not I imagine.

And even if Malleus pours everything into Yuu’s dream, it is slated to fail because their biggest wish is to return home to their adopted family. But Malleus only focuses on the family portion, unable to even think of losing Yuu to another world and weaves a story of the twin prides of the Draconia family, never separated as eggs and having both their parents, grandmother, and Lilia in their lives. And while it would be a beautiful dream, full of childhood joy, playing, and spending time together, it crumbles apart so easily because Yuu knows something is missing in this fantasy, wanting their whole family there too, who Malleus knows nothing about save for the details Yuu has shared overtime.

How heartbreaking to Malleus, to have his own sibling deny him, to want these other people more than him and the dreams he can concoct for them. That Yuu wants to be stuck in a fickle mortal body and could die and leave Malleus even more alone.

Also the thought of Crowley as Levan makes this whole scenario all the sadder too, because Crowley is probably one of the few adult presences Yuu has since arriving in Twisted Wonderland. Crowley employs Yuu and makes them work for their keep, but he is generous in his own ways too, and something about the wish to see Yuu happy makes him confused, unable to recall the desperation to save his unhatched child and hope that the future will work out.

Something beautifully tragic in all that for sure.

The romance for the lost Sibling Au was funny, but now I'm thinking about how happy Malleus would be to find how he has a sibling.

I think he would absolutely be thrilled! He's lived a long and lonely life. The lost sibling AU I have the reader in the place of Yuu/MC so imagine Malleus finding out that the one person who he has built a genuine friendship with is his own actual sibling. I imagine it also brings him some relief because he has somebody who he can spend his long life with it.

Now I actually reblogged back and forth and talked in post comments with @achromaticbibliophile about how this news would affect Malleus during his overblot. Like the memories revealing two eggs instead of of just one and the clues falling into place and they figure out the truth. But we both pretty much though that it would cause him to be absolutely hellbent on Yuu staying with him until he found a way to break whatever is keeping Yuu stuck as a human. Even if it means keeping Yuu in an idyllic dream world where they never lost their parents and grew up with them, their grandmother, and Lilia. What's another one or two thousand years of sleep if it means nobody would keep them apart ever again?

So like in the aus linked above Sapphire was born in the twst world but was taken to a non magical world before going back to the twst world in yuu's place so in this au ig? I decided to make Azul's step father a colossal squid so that I could have Azul and Sapphire be half siblings while having Sapphire be a colossal choice probably wouldn't have made this choice if I hadn't seen the return home au also using ideas shared in that au I liked the idea of the kids not bullying Azul until yuu (sapphire in this case) went missing because the kids thought they were big and scary now I decided to make Sapphire younger than Azul bc I wanted big brother Azul also Sapphire's mer form was sealed a way after leaving twst

Because several Twst boys made it into the ranking and Skully made it to #2. He really came in and hit the fandom like an isekai truck.

I've seen so many artist on pixiv I follow change their ship art to Skully.

I have!!!! (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟI'm so happy to see many twst characters on the ranking, but omg to see that Skully got second place!?!?!?! He even surpassed Gojo,,,, (°ロ°) his appeal is just too strong. He's the perfect, ideal guy!!!! A gentleman who will gently kiss your hand, who will escort you so politely, but he's also unexpectedly full of yandere potential and he has a temper!!! The soggy puppy energy is too cute,,, >w< he's very precious and deserves to be so high in the rankings!!!!

Halloween is every day now that Skully is here. ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡) those artists are so real for that. It's impossible to resist the charms of the old-fashioned, gentlemanly ghost!!! <3

Expanding on the idea. I want to thank @achromaticbibliophile for a lot of these ideas

Riddle and Yuu growing up in complete opposite lives. Riddle under strict parentage while Yuu grows up in a family similar to the Robinson's in Meet the Robinson's. A chaotic but loving family that sees failure not as a bad thing, but as a way to learn. Who finds a baby on their doorstep and adopts without hesitation. The two butting heads at first. Until the truth of Yuu being Riddle's sibling is revealed. Perhaps Yuu's hair is platinum blonde or even white. Perhaps Riddle is the Red Queen to Yuu's White Queen. Riddle who is introduced to Yuu's adopted family and it's all so chaotic, dinner nearly a food fight and afterwards he's brought into the kitchen to help make the dessert. Messing it up and he thinks it'll be another oyster sauce incident. But instead everybody cheers and ohh. It's actually okay. Yuu and him sharing the story of him messing up the tart after his overblot The family turns it into a silly joke. The dessert is missing something, why not oyster sauce? The family, having a contest to see who can create the weirdest dessert, and Riddle winning by making a traditional Queendom of Roses star gazey pie. Riddle, who finds himself laughing along with the rest of the family. Welcome to the family Riddle.

Leona, who has always been the unfavored. Who is brought to meet Yuu's adoptive parents. Leona, who had to convince Falena not to come but instead sends a note thanking the parents for raising the third Kingscholar child. Yuu's parents shocked to see their lost child come home sporting ears and a tail and bringing home a brother. Leona, who finds himself at ease when they ask him about his aspirations, his plans for the future, he's just Leona to them.

Jade and Floyd. Who grew up with a mother who was always worried about them. Eventually learning about a third eelver who was lost to the tides. One day a kid runs up to their parents with a baby wrapped in a towel. The adults panic but the couple eventually adopt the child. Yuu who doesn't have a clue until the day they go to the coral sea to retrieve the photo and transform into an eel mer. Jade immediately separating Yuu and bombarding them with questions while Floyd keeps the others away. Jade and Floyd who drag Yuu back to NRC.

J&F: Found our lost sibling.

J&F: *dumping them into a tank* Found our lost sibling.

Rollo, who hates magic. Magic lost him not one but two siblings. Rollo, who plans to rid the world of magic. The masquerade invitation to NRC. Rollo, who is shocked when the previously uninvited Prefect looks strikingly similar to himself and his deceased brother. Perhaps he sees Yuu as an even bigger motivator for his plans. Magic took his siblings from him, and if he destroys it, then magic can never take Yuu from him again. Yuu who at the end tells him that yes, magic may have separated them but magic also brought them back together and perhaps magic may allow him to see the world they grew up in.

Malleus' was expanded on a lot and is practically a fanfic in onto itself.

The Spade family, a set of baby paternal twins. One that looks like their father, and the other who looks like their mother Dilla. The parents separate after a particularly nasty divorce. Only for the baby with dad to disappear after their father is attacked and injured. The parents, but especially Dilla spend years mourning the loss of one child. One day, Deuce overhears his mom on the phone crying to his grandmother because she's afraid something will happen to Deuce if he doesn't get on the right path. She's already mourned one child. She can't bare to mourn another. That day Deuce decides to turn his life around, he never wants to see his mom cry like that again.

Deuce who becomes friends with the prefect. They're like peas in a pod. They're each other's biggest supporters. The day they go to the White Rabbit festival and Deuce introduces his mom to Yuu, she's shocked because this child is practically the spitting image of her ex-husband when he was that young, even down to the same hair color. She doesn't want to get her hopes up but could it be?

I really don’t understand people who breast feed past the age of two. Teeth start growing in at about age 1 or so. You baby ain’t no baby no more. If they got a full mouth of teeth, it’s probably a good time to get them off the booby.

is there even a nurtitional advantage to it past the age of two? I don't know, but yeah she was, clearly not comfortable. She had to keep telling her to slow down or not be so hard and I just... I don't know anymore, man.
