Fireworks Over the Sea is an overlong (a little over two hours) and overplotted film about the tribulations of a family-owned fishing company. The always-welcome Chishu Ryu plays the head of the Kamiya family who has to struggle with not only keeping his business literally afloat but also the romantic entanglements of his daughters. There are love scenes and fist fights, as well as a dark family secret, but not much of an attempt on writer-director Keisuke Kinoshita's part to give it all coherent dramatic shape. The music track by Chuji Kioshita, the director's brother, doesn't help much by muttering about behind the scenes, sometimes inappropriately.

El Anime ‘Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau’ tendrá doce episodios y dos OVAs

La OVA será incluida con el primer volumen Blu-ray y DVD de la serie para TV a la venta el 26 de enero de 2018

La web oficial del próximo Anime para televisión adaptación del Manga de Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau por Umeda Abi, ha revelado el martes que el Anime se pondrá a la venta en dos sets Blu-ray y DVD con seis episodios cada uno para un total de doce episodios. El Anime se estrenará el 8 de octubre del 2017 en Japón y Netflix a nivel mundial en una fecha por determinarse.

La web también anunció que los dos sets BD/DVD del Anime incluirá cada uno, un nuevo episodio OVA que no será emitido en televisión además de los seis episodios. El primer set se pondrá a la venta el 26 de enero del 2018. El segundo set se pondrá a la venta el 23 de marzo del mismo año. 

rionos pondrá el tema musical de ending de la serie titulado "Hashitairo" y la cantautora RIRIKO se encargará de interpretar la canción de opening titulada "Sono Mirai e".

Novas informações sobre o anime de Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau são divulgadas

O canal oficial no Youtube da Bandai Visual começou a transmitir o segundo vídeo promocional da adaptação em anime do mangá Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau. O clipe de um minuto e trinta segundos pode ser visto abaixo e divulga que a série será exibida internacionalmente no serviço de streaming Netflix em 2018. Porém, sua estreia oficial nos canais Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto e Sun TV (além da exibição simultânea no Netflix japonês) será em outubro deste ano. Também foi divulgado um novo visual do anime - a imagem pode ser vista após o trailer. TV Anime "Children of the Whales" Latest Previews Introduce OP/ED Songs

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Abi Umeda's high fantasy manga series Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau/Children of the Whales today released three new clips, including 15-second and 30-second CMs featuring its OP theme song "Sono Saki he" by RIRIKO and a 100-second third PV introducing its ED song "Hashitairo" by rionos. 

  It is also announced that the TV anime is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto on October 8, then on BS11 two days later. Netflix has acquired world-wide streaming rights to the J.C.STAFF-animated series.

Personality: Most people see Haruko as a very quiet, unassuming, shy girl. She tends to only speak when spoken to, and tries not to stand out more than she already does. She learned to repress a lot of her personality traits because of criticism from others, who often found her "too" boisterous, "too" weird, "too" creepy, "too"...much. So she became less. But her true self still manages to come out sometimes. Especially at home, Haruko is more likely to sass her brother and be louder. S is where the real Haruko comes out: wild, crazy, and a little unorthodox. She is so different from her usual self, most don't seem to recognize her, including her brother. (In all fairness, Kenta is an idiot and couldn't tell Shadow from Hiromi, either.) Though she wears rollerblades as opposed to skates, Haruko utilizes a lot of roller derby moves and is known for body checking other skaters into the wall. She loves to roughhouse!

Appearance: When not dressed for work, Haruko tends to wear lowkey gothic or gothlic lolita clothing. She tends to buy from online independent designers mostly because it's hard to find that style in her size. She also is usually found wearing a black wig in public, to hide her natural hair. At S she switches up the color. Her natural hair has two lil cowlicks on the side that look like devil horns. Though her eyes are usually obscured by her glasses or bangs, she has nystagmus, which makes her eyes shake. She can't see shit without her glasses, so the goggles she wears at S are made for her prescription. They also have a camera feature. While Haruko usually wears monochrome black/white/grey, she is very colorful as Onibaba.

Background: Haruko grew up in orphanages with her older brother after their mother died shortly after her birth and father left. She was sick frequently as a child, making Kenta, her only family, overly protective of her. She wasn't allowed out much due to her albinism causing her to be particularly sensitive to the sun; in addition to that, she also had frequent asthma attacks and heart problems, which led her brother to prevent her from participating in many physical activities. She was bullied frequently due to her hair and skin--often called Baba Yaga--both by other kids and her brother. Because of her avoidance of the sun, and the ostracizing from others, Haruko would often spend time outside at night, especially cemeteries. Spirits became her friends, although she learned quickly to keep them to herself.

Between her appearance and "strange" behavior, Haruko had a reputation, and some were even afraid of her. So, she kept more to herself. While Kenta was busy with work, she would secretly go out and try new, physical activities, and it seemed that she generally grew out of most of her health issues. But Kenta has trust issues and wouldn't hear anything about it, so she would continue her activities in secret.

When she became of age, she began working in a local funeral home, which didn't help her reputation. But helping families see their loved ones one last time before cremation made it worth it for her. She became very good at makeup and reconstructive work and is often requested for victims of accidents or have advanced decomposition.

Haruko never went to S before, but knew of it from her eavesdropping skills (not that Kenta or his boyfriend could ever talk quietly anyway.) She started going with the hopes to see Shadow and be able to let loose. She was a little baffled that he didn't recognize her, but ran with it and loves messing with him. His nickname for her is Demon Skank (affectionate?).

Trivia:

She walks very quietly and accidentally sneaks up on people frequently.

Haruko took on a big sister role for a lot of the kids in the orphanage, and she does the same here. She is very protective of Miya, Reki, and Langa.

She is very clownish at S, letting insults and jeers roll off her back and taunts the audience by smashing their expectations when they underestimate her. If Shadow is the anti-hero, Onibaba is a straight up heel.

Haruko would sculpt something out of chocolate for Valentine's Day.

Haruko would like a surprise proposal. She would not like a grand reception. She would like 'see ya' kisses every day. She would want to go to New Orleans for a honey moon. Her spouse would have to accept her wild and creepy sides.

Haruko would be great with kids but is afraid to have her own.

Personality: Kenta is standoffish and aloof and is known for his short temper and aggressive attitude. His nickname "Hook" comes from how quick he is to settle arguments with his fists rather than a beef--but he'll throw them while skating, too. He is a violent skater who will mow down anyone who gets in his way.

Background: Kenta came to S for one reason and one reason only: to beat the shit out of Adam, and he's more than a little pissed he has to go through (who he calls) "underlings" in order to get his attention. If asked what his deal with is with Adam, he'll tell you to mind your own business.

Kenta lives with his younger sister, Haruko, who he is overly protective of. Kenta's father was already out of the picture by the time Haruko was born, and their mom died shortly after. Haruko's father took care of the two financially from afar, but otherwise the two were in and out of orphanages until Kenta was 15 and left with his sister for good.

Naturally, Kenta fell in with a delinquent crowd at an early age and became known for his fists early on. He became adept at two things: street fighting, and getting away from cops. Skateboarding became his transportation of choice (since he couldn't afford a motorcycle.) This led to Kenta meeting local skateboarders, and eventually began to stray from his gang and do more honest work after becoming close with someone.

He was one of the early participants at S, but disappeared when Adam's brutality began to seriously injure others.

Now he's back and ready to give Adam a taste of his own medicine.

Trivia:

There are rumors that he is former yakuza, because of his fierce gaze and missing part of his pinky finger.

(He's not. He's just very clumsy in the kitchen and stupid enough to try to catch a knife.)

Kenta's lone wolf, bad boy demeanor makes him popular with girls, but he doesn't reciprocate their advances.

Kenta wouldn't know what to give someone for White Day.

Kenta wouldn't like a surprise proposal or a grand reception. He would like 'see ya' kisses every day. He has no plans for marriage and even less ideas about a honeymoon. His spouse would need to be patient with him because he's a bit hard headed and rough around the edges, but he tries his best when with someone he loves. He likes to roughhouse for fun.

Kenta would be good at taking care of children and usually takes on a big brother role to kids.

Kenta would like to play video games or sports for a date. He doesn't really like to be in public, but likes to be active and show off for his date. If it rained, he doesn't mind getting wet but would use his jacket to cover his date.

Revelado el reparto, equipo y fecha del especial de Anime ‘Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10cm datta.’

El especial para televisión se estrenará el 24 de noviembre y será transmitido por seis semanas

La web oficial de las películas de Anime adaptación del proyecto de canciones de Vocaloid Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai Ren'ai de HoneyWorks, ha revelado el lunes el título, fecha, una imagen promocional, el reparto y el equipo de producción de su próximo especial de Anime para televisión. El especial titulado “Itsu Datte Bokura no Koi 10 Centi Datta. (We have always been 10 cm apart.)“, saldrá al aire a partir del 24 de noviembre de este año y tendrá una duración de seis semanas. 

El Anime contará las historias de los vídeos musicales de  "Hatsukoi no Ehon" y "Ippun Ichibyou Kimi to Boku no" de HoneyWorks y agregará nuevos elementos. Kenichi Suzumura y Aki Toyosaki están regresando al reparto de previos Anime de Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai Ren'ai para ser Haruki Serizawa y Miou Aida, respectivamente. La web oficial del próximo Anime para televisión adaptación del Manga de Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau por Umeda Abi, ha revelado el martes su tercer vídeo promocional, su primer comercial en dos versiones y su fecha de estreno. El Anime se estrenará el 8 de octubre del 2017 en Japón y Netflix a nivel mundial en una fecha por determinarse.

La storia racconta le vicende di Chakuro, un quattordicenne archivista della “Balena di Fango”, un‘isola pressoché utopica che galleggia sulla superficie di un mare infinito di sabbia. Nove abitanti su dieci di quest’isola sono sono stati benedetti e maledetti con il dono di un “saimia”, un potere speciale che però li condanna ad una morte precoce. Chakuro e i suoi amici passano il tempo esplorando altre isole imparando cose nuove, nonostante non abbiano mai incontrato nessun altro essere umano che provenga dal mondo esterno. Fino a quando un giorno, visitando un'isola arenata grande quasi come la loro “Balena di Fango”, Chakuro incontra all’interno una ragazza che cambierà il suo destino…

Umeda ha lanciato il manga sulla rivista Mystery Bonita nel 2013 e Akita Shoten ne ha pubblicato il nono volume il 16 marzo 2017.

Nel 2015 l’opera si è piazzata decima nella top 20 per il pubblico femminile di "Kono Manga ga Sugoi!".
