thinking about the fanfic that basically described my canon after the events of disco elysium and how i was completely like yeah. that tracks. until they fucking ended it with 'and the voices in harry's went away because the pale caused them and we got rid of the pale!' like no????? hello???? how the fuck are you supposed to get rid of something that was literally part of me. jesus christ. it just kind of reeked of 'oh its a happy ending that means the character that hears voices has to be fixed!' like. 🤨

Oh I can do the drug game thing so uhh. As Harry I was obviously an alcoholic, I also was addicted to amphetamines. I also did cocaine on occasion. Post game I did do my best to go clean, but Kim and I hit the hemp as it were occasionally. As Ruby I did my best to stay away from anything I could possibly be hauling so I wouldn't be tempted, but I had a soft spot for weed. I may have done a line or two, but that was a while ago.
