The Jonas Brothers covering “ Night Changes “ by One Direction was not on my Bingo Card for this year

As I'm sure were all aware that Liam Payne from popular boy band One Direction has recently passed.

Obviously this was instant news and the praise and tribute posts stated to flood all over the internet including from his own bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles as to be expected.

But other tribute posts from 'rival' bands such as Big Time Rush, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and even The Wanted (well Tom Parkers widow), which was One Directions main rival back in the day; their BSB to their Nsync if you will were posted as well.

I would like to point how much of a big deal this is. All these bands have been compared to each other at one point or another no matter what generation there from and fans have even started wars over which boy band was better or more iconic and what not. Yet they're all showing their love for Liam and their support for the other members.

I think we should take this as a sign not to take being a fan so seriously. I enjoy all the bands I mentioned above yet I obviously have my favorites, its okay to have your favorites too but there's no need for all the twitter fights, and hate posting.

Rest In Peace Liam 💞🕊️ you will ALWAYS be an important part of our childhoods you are dearly missed 💔

Not once, never, EVER have I met anybody who’s as crazy about any fandoms as me. I know there’s people who are wayyyy more into stuff than me, no doubt. I’m not saying I’m the ultimate super fan. I just?? Anytime I meet someone irl that’s a “fan” of the same things I am (or anything, really) it’s always such a casual “oh yes I enjoy this artist/book/show/piece of media” but never EVER is it to the same keysmash-need-to-scream-at-the-top-of-my-lungs-rip-my-hair-out-I-love-this-so-much extent that I feel things?? As an example, growing up me and my friends all loved 1D right? Yet they were always so casual about it?? I was always the one to binge interviews, stay up late for live streams, follow everything the boys did. They just came to me to ask about stuff, but never actively did all of that themselves.

Now that I’m a bit older I realise that i’ve had to mute my emotions quite a lot, and still do to this day. I’ve never met anybody who feels these fan emotions to the same extent I do, so yeah. I think everyone on here who feels the way I do is just simply not real.
