hi everyone ! i've been away for a looooong time but i'd love to get into indie rping again. my name is penny, i'm 25 from est. my pronouns are she/her. i mostly rp fantasy/period settings, but will do the occasional slice-of-life. i have a full time job that takes up a lot of my time, but i'm itching to be creative again ! i'm looking for long term partners who will enthusiastically scream about our ships and plots together ! looking forward to meeting you all !
i like forbidden romances, enemies-to-lovers, period settings, fantasy settings, vampires, angels, demons, uhhhhh really anything ! i like stardew valley, percy jackson, shadow and bone, doctor who, ghosts, bridgerton and yeah!
if you're interested in any of these topics, feel free to send me a like or respond to my starters ! also, i prefer to write on tumblr !
here are my open starters
my muses have their own page on my blog! (under construction) also under the cut !
Women <3
Athena Cunningham (Maia Mitchell fc). Plays noblewomen, princesses, etc. Good for regency or later. She's reckless and a little naive.
Henrietta Owens (Alisha Boe). Plays servants, village girls, princesses, handmaidens, noblewomen, low-key anything. Good for both medieval and regency plots! She's passionate and well-rounded.
Juliet Fairchild (Kristine Froseth). Plays any period role. She's expressive, usually wealthy, and kinda spoiled. She means well, though.
Sara Sarrarel (Poppy Drayton). Plays princesses, village girls, any medieval/fantasy role tbh. I have her as more of a medieval character. She's stubborn and annoying <3
Reyna Rusnak (Millie Brady). She plays commoners, usually in a fantasy setting. She's better for darker themes just based on vibes alone. Works well in medieval settings. Her personality is pretty verse-dependent. I have her as being loyal, scrappy, and a little mysterious
Fiona Campbell (Sophie Skelton). She plays commoners, sex-workers, down-on-her luck characters. She could also probably be a noblewoman. She's my newest character so I'm still figuring her out. I think she's kinda jaded for some reason.
Men <3
Buck Birch (Tom Blyth). He is only in Western verse threads. He's usually an outlaw, but he could work as a common man, too. He's my most verse-specific character. He's charming, sly, and dangerous.
Shi Bolin. (Dylan Wang). He is good for bodyguards/knights/protectors. He could also be a weird, angsy prince. He's not the most friendly but he'll protect your character.
Remy Longfellow (Adrain Enscoe). He's good for regency/bridgerton things. He's your basic soft boy who's a little dumb <3
Alistair Brown (Thomas Brodie-Sangster). I usually play him as a tavern-owner. He can also be in Bridgerton type threads. He's hard-working, sarcastic, and a good man.
Benjamin Isakson (Jack Wolfe). He is usually only put in vampire threads tbh. He is good for fantasy/supernatural threads. He's naive, bookish, and he likes to study the supernatural. He is my personal baby.
James Parker (Harry Gilby). Usually more medieval threads. He's good as bodyguards or a loyal soilder. He wants to prove himself to his superior. He's just a young man that has to face a lot of darkness, I feel.
Alaric Blackwell (Freddy Carter). He works well in supernatural/fantasy threads. He can play a vampire hunter. He's a con-man and cannot be trusted.

i would love some more plots, so i’ve compiled a list of stuff i currently really wanna do below the cut. there is also a list of fcs at the very end ! if you would like to do any of these with me, please either shoot me a dm, like this post (and i will message you), or add me on disc/ord ( liz#6666 )!! i’ll write both male and female muses, and i mostly do f/f and m/f.
Okay so I’ve been wanting to do a historical vampire royalty plot forever now !! It would probably be set during the 1800s ( but we could do earlier too, if that would be preferred ). The crown princess of XX country has been turned into a vampire and thus the Chaos Begins. Muse B could be a vampire hunter, or the vampire that turned her, or the prince/princess from another country who has unwittingly been married off to a vampire, or maybe a rival from another country who just happens to be a witch capable of turning her human again but does Muse A want to be human again? All the subplots would honestly be super fun to do !!
I am beyond obsessed with faeries right now and the seelie and unseelie courts !! I would give anything for more faerie plots, especially ones inspired by The Cruel Prince / Folk of the Air series.
Maybe a plot where Muse A is a faerie living in the mortal world with their mortal partner ( Muse B ), who knows absolutely nothing about faeries, because Muse A hasn’t bothered telling them yet ( but also can’t physically lie, so it’s a really weird situation ).
I would also love to write the actual characters of the book more? Cardan? The love of my life? I’ll write him against any character!! Locke / anyone would also be fun, or something with Vivi / anyone, or Nicasia / anyone. I’m super flexible on that.
A plot where Muse A is a princess/prince of the Undersea, and Muse B is a princess/prince of Elfhame / the Greenbriar line, but not important enough to be looked at for the throne. Muse A is the crown princess/prince and gets engaged to Muse B’s older brother/sister, who is more likely to become the future regent. But Muse A and Muse B are childhood friends and fall in love. Too bad they can’t lie about it.
A plot where Muse A and B are both faeries living in the mortal world. Muse A grew up in the mortal world with a mortal mother. Muse B grew up at the faerie courts, and is clueless when it comes to the ways of mortals. Unfortunately for Muse B, they have been banished from Faerie, and can’t return. The only silver lining is Muse A, who takes pity on Muse B, and takes them in and tries to show them the ropes.
This angel / demon plot !!!
I’m forever in love with the Shadow and Bone trilogy and would love to do something in that universe as well !!
A pirates plot where Muse A is a princess runaway, who escapes her life at court to become a pirate on Muse B’s ship. She hides her identity, but Muse B probably catches onto her being a total amateur.
A plot where Muse A and Muse B are actors working on the same tv show, where they play the main and most popular couple. On the screen they have insane chemistry, but behind the scenes, they hate each other and can barely stand being in the same room.
A Bachelor/Bachelorette ( and Unreal, tbh ) inspired plot where Muse A and B were the participants of a reality tv show where they were looking for love. As Muse A was the bachelor, and Muse B was the fan favorite, the show ended with them together. Unfortunately, they can’t stand each other off camera. To make matters worse, upon entering the reality show, they signed a two year contract for another reality show, chronicling their lives as newlyweds. So now they’re living together, smiling pretty for the cameras, all the while secretly hating each others guts. They’re probably counting down the days until they can get a divorce. It’s messy.
A medieval plot where Muse A is a prince/princess of Country A and Muse B is a prince/princess of Country B. It has been a hard couple of years for both countries, but a union between the families would benefit the economy for them both. Unfortunately, Muse A and B know each other quite well, and can’t stand being in the same room at the same time. But they reluctantly agree to get married anyways, for the greater good.
Another medieval plot where Muse A comes from nothing, but has managed to work their way up the social ranks using only their charm and their looks. Meanwhile, Muse B is the bachelor king/queen who hasn’t settled down yet (rumor has it that they sleep around a lot). Muse A’s plan is to get Muse B to fall in love with them, but Muse B - although enticed by Muse A, is easily distracted. After a while, they become friends, but both want different things from their relationship and it becomes messy, fast.
A witch plot where Muse A and Muse B are childhood best friends. Once they reach puberty and pick their paths, Muse A chooses light magic, while Muse B chooses dark magic. They break up due to their differences, but 10-something years later, they both show up for the same job interview and get the same job. Now they have to work together and it’s kinda awkward. Possible subplots could include Muse A being very suspicious of Muse B, Muse B thinking Muse A is way too stuck up / righteous, both becoming a little more grey as they spend more time together.
More Harry Potter plots !! I mostly like to write marauders era stuff, but I’ll write anything tbh. I’m just a sucker for Harry Potter.
Some ships I really want right now are:
James & Lily ( always )
Marlene & Sirius
Bellatrix & Rodolphus
Rita & Bellatrix
Ted & Andromeda
FCs I CURRENTLY WANT TO PLAY / PLAY AGAINST:
• elizabeth lail • lucy boynton • chris evans • melisa pamuk • alycia debnam carey • vanessa morgan • daniel gillies • sydney park • danielle campbell • danielle rose russell • lana condor • diane guerrero • daniel sharman • michael b jordan • zoey deutch • lucy liu • joe keery • diego boneta • ana de armas • deborah ann woll • summer bishil • kristine froseth • ryan destiny • maia mitchell • ricky whittle • armie hammer • alicia vikander • franz drameh • thomas doherty • cody christian • benjamin wadsworth.

Which witch show is which?
Tumblr media
The arrival of a new trio of Charmed ones and a certain enchanting teen proves that witchy offerings on the big and small screen are no longer relegated to Halloween, or even the month of October. And it’s not hard to see why tales about powerful women fighting persecution through magic resonate so much right now. But with five witch-centered series currently airing or streaming —including the OpenTV web series Brujos and an upcoming Chicago-based show titled Brujas—The A.V. Club decided it was time to take a closer look. Here, we help our readers determine who at least glanced at the Book Of Shadows before conjuring up a story.
The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (Netflix)
Which witch is this? Honestly, the Satanic Temple had a point when they said CAOS gave Satanists a bad name. Although the Spellman family and their fellow witches and warlocks worship the goat-headed god Baphomet—first conceived by French artist and occultist Éliphas Lévi in 1856, and frequently used as the symbolic incarnation of Satan—the Satanic Church of the Night’s brand of magic has very little in common with the actual Left-Hand Path, as practitioners of so-called “black magic” prefer to call their belief systems. Neither of the major Satanic groups, The Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple, believe in Satan as a literal deity, for one. (There are a few theistic Satanists out there who do believe in an actual devil, but not in great enough numbers to be statistically significant.) And even if they did, they don’t believe in forcing anyone, let alone minors, to join up. They’re all about free will.
The show’s frequent name-checking of ingredients, tools, and deities frequently utilized in real spellcraft, as well as its use of concepts like astral projection and familiars as plot devices, are similarly loose—some might even say nonsensical, from a magical point of view—in their interpretations. If anything, the coven’s ritual cannibalism and practice of signing their names in the Devil’s book are more akin to the rhetoric of witch hunters in early modern Europe, who fed the public salacious (and baseless) tales of midnight orgies and shapeshifting witches in order to justify burning rebellious women at the stake. Of course, there’s not a lot of dramatic tension in an organization whose first guiding principle is “one should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason,” so it makes sense that the writers of CAOS would take some liberties when designing the show’s fictional witches. But if you’re a fan of the show and meet a real-life Satanist, don’t worry—the most dangerous thing about them is likely to be a libertarian streak. [Katie Rife]
Charmed (The CW)
Which witch is this? There are three in Jennie Snyder Urman’s Charmed reboot: sisters Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel (Melonie Diaz), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery), who discover they’re witches after their mom dies. Their magical abilities have been slightly tweaked; what was once Phoebe’s (original cast member Alyssa Milano) premonition is now Maggie’s telepathy. They’re still strongest when they’re working together, so the Power Of Three remains intact (aww).
But where, exactly, do those powers come from? Well, in its original iteration, Charmed was informed by general Wiccan tenets, e.g., spell-casting, potions, the use of familiars, etc. The Halliwell sisters—played by Milano, Shannen Doherty, and Holly Marie Combs—even had a Book Of Shadows, a similar copy of which was bequeathed to 2018’s Charmed ones. For the most part, the reboot has followed the same path, despite having a male witch in their writers room and the fact that the main characters (if not all of the cast) are Latinx. Season one hasn’t explored brujería much at all, even though there’s a long and rich history of it in Latin America. But the fourth episode, “Exorcise Your Demons,” introduced a bit of Santería, a syncretic Afro-Caribbean religion that draws from Catholicism and Yoruba beliefs, to the world of the Vaughn-Vera siblings. (The incantation was even in Spanish.) But Charmed is still leaving a whole lot of culture untapped while cobbling together a fairly generic form of witchcraft. We mean, if Starz’s Vida can feature a limpia de huevo, Charmed could have a barrida or two. Okay, so maybe that’s more curanderismo than anything, but the fact that we’ve already cited several Latin American-originating practices here proves there’s a lot more where that season-one spell came from. (Incidentally, Vida creator Tanya Saracho is developing a series about Afro-Latinx witches called Brujas). [Danette Chavez]
A Discovery Of Witches (Sundance Now/AMC Shudder)
Which witch is this? The source material for A Discovery Of Witches is Deborah Harkness’ historical-fantasy novel of the same name, which was in turn inspired by Harkness’ work as a historian and her decades-long private research into magic and the occult. The spell-casters on this Sundance Now series are a special brew—they’re informed as much by Harkness’ studies of “the transition from the superstitious Middle Ages to the rational, science-loving Enlightenment” as they are the occult. Dr. Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer) is a very powerful, very undisciplined witch who’d much rather get tenure at Oxford than join a coven, but soon destiny—and a dreamy vampire played by Matthew Goode—come calling.
Though there aren’t many fun incantations a la Harry Potter, A Discovery Of Witches does touch on alchemy, which once seemed like magic. Much of the story in the first season centers on Ashmole 782, a book that’s more myth than manuscript. As our colleagues at io9 demonstrate, Ashmole 782 doesn’t actually exist, but the works of 17th-century alchemist and astronomer Elias Ashmole do. Harkness really did her homework, drawing inspiration from medieval alchemy, which was full of all kinds of fantastic occurrences and creatures (possibly even including vampires, though probably not ones as hot as Matthew Clairmont). [Danette Chavez]
Legacies (The CW)
Which witch is this? In short, the “just for funsies” kind. In this spinoff of a spinoff of The CW’s long-running supernatural teen series The Vampire Diaries, witchcraft and magic are heritable conditions. That means that you can chant in all the esoteric languages and draw all the arcane symbols you want, but if the blood of ancient magicians doesn’t flow through your veins, you’ll never be able to develop psychokinesis, manipulate time, read minds, or do any of the other cool tricks that the witches on the show can do. That puts Legacies, about a supernatural high school for witches, vampires, and werewolves, closer to Harry Potter or X-Men than any religious form of witchcraft. (The school’s called the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, for goodness’ sake.)
As for what these witches actually believe, vague gestures are made towards a pagan nature religion akin to Wicca: “I was a witch like you … we believe in the natural order of things,” an undead witch tells the biological daughters she’s never met (don’t ask) in one episode. That being said, the actual mechanics of the spells performed on screen are more reminiscent of the alchemical and theological systems of hermetic magic than Wiccan goddess-worship. Not that it really matters in the context of the show, whose characters spend a lot more time discussing who has a crush on whom than the philosophical underpinnings of the duality between “light” and “dark” magic.
Siempre Bruja (Netflix)
Which witch is this? Caracól Television’s Siempre Bruja, which was inspired by Isidora Chacón’s novel, Yo, Bruja, centers on a time-traveling witch named Carmen (Angely Gaviria). When we first meet her, Carmen is a slave in 17th century Cartagena, who’s on trial for being a witch. She’s condemned to death, but as the flames grow around her at the stake, she begins to chant. Suddenly, she washes ashore in Cartagena some 300 years in the future, where she’s in only slightly less danger. Siempre Bruja is part Buffy The Vampire Slayer, part Outlander—there’s plenty of teen drama mixed in with the time jumps.
Though it’s not referred to by name (at least, not in the first half of season one), there are plenty of clues that suggest Carmen and the other witches in the story are followers of Santería, which has a long history in Colombia. She chants in Lucumí, a variation of Yoruba that’s used as the spiritual language of Santería. (In fact, “Lucumí” can also be used as a synonym for the belief system itself.) Carmen also acts as a curandera, using plants to heal wounds in the past and present. She’s also able to communicate with ghosts, and spiritism is a huge part of Santería.

Historical AU Fic Recs
I was asked by @zsolounamanzana to recommend some historical fics (sorry love, I accidentally deleted your ask!). I don’t actually read historical AUs that often, so I will probably end up recommending ones you already know, but here’s a bunch I really liked. I hope there’s some here for you:
Threadbare by kiwikero / @icanhazzalou
Harry Styles was eight years old when Louis Tomlinson kept him from falling into a machine in a Manchester textile mill.
He was 18 years old when nothing, not even the threat of death, could keep Harry from falling in love with Louis.
Howls Like A Beast (You Flower, You Feast) by @indiaalphawhiskey
France, 1754. Château de Versailles.
“You don’t love me,” Louis had said, utterly blasé as he callously fractured the heart of a Harry that was just barely eighteen.
“I do,” Harry had insisted pleadingly, green eyes already watering.
Louis had rolled his eyes, exasperated and flippant in the way only beautiful, young boys could be when faced with the affections of a baby prince. He had run his finger down Harry’s cheek then, had forced him to look into his eyes as he delivered the final blow.
“You’ll change your mind once you’ve seen more of the world,” Louis had teased, pressing a brutally delicate kiss onto Harry’s lovely, pure cheek. “Once you’ve been properly defiled.” He had whispered filthily, delighted by the gasp he heard, the frantic pink blush that had rested high on Harry’s cheeks, the power he had felt at knowing he could make the Crown Prince squirm.
To Honor by Awriterwrites / @a-writerwrites
#46. It's Getting a Little Hard
Ech day me comëth tydinges thre, For wel swithë sore ben he: The on is that Ich shal hennë, That other that Ich not whennë, The thriddë is my mestë carë, That Ich not whider Ich shal farë.
**** Each Very grievous are they One must go hence Do not know when Greatest grief Do not know whither I must go
-Unknown, Medieval English lyrics
Commander Styles leads his men to victory, but at what cost?
And down the long and silent street by whimsicule
The year is 1881 and if you’re alone in this world you might as well be dead, because starving dogs have no mercy.
Or: Wherein Louis and Harry are on the opposite ends of the social ladder, but their paths still cross on the filthy streets Louis calls his home. The odds are staked against them from the beginning, and even more when Louis' past finally catches up with him.
Atlas At Last by @louisandthealien
He doesn’t know what he had been expecting out of the road trip itself besides burping contests and too much shitty gas station food with Oli and Stan, but in the brief moment before Harry ambles up his driveway, Louis idly wonders if this is about to become some sort of Gay Coming of Age story.
Maine to California in ten days. In which Zayn’s an open-shirt hippie they meet somewhere in Ohio, Liam’s the pastor’s son running away from home, and Niall’s the number they call on the bathroom wall.
It’s 1978. Harry and Louis are just trying to get to San Fran in time for the Queen concert.
No One Like You by myownspark / @myownsparknow
Dear Niall,
I was glad to have the chance to talk with you again at the AHA conference. Your idea that the Musee D’Orsay Tomlinson painting is in fact not a self-portrait is an intriguing one, and I may have discovered something that will have a bearing on that theory.
Some background: as you may remember, I’ve been researching for a book I’m writing about Harry Styles. I’ve been in communication with Styles’ last living descendant, who is in possession of a trunk that her family believed to have belonged to Styles himself. It held some personal items she presumes to be his, including two unmounted paintings and a small collection of letters.
Upon spending the last few days in Provins studying these items, I believe there to be a connection between Tomlinson and Styles, and I would very much like your opinion.
Are you up for a trip to France?
Sincerely, Liam Payne
Where Liam and Niall are art historians discovering the truth about two nineteenth century painters on opposite sides of an artistic divide.
The Man Who Saw The Devil by @metal-eye
"The Devil was staring at him.
"Louis shifted slightly in his seat and scratched the back of his neck, picking up his program and reading the title of the play again: L’homme qui a vu le Diable.
"He was wearing a satin red suit, one that certainly stood out amongst the usual greys and blacks of other Paris theatres, and instead of merely appearing the two times that the main character summoned him, this Devil followed the other men around on stage as they spoke and played cards. He kept looking over their shoulders and mocking their awkward movements, jerks and twitches compared to his own lithe prowl. The theatre audience, most readily impressed by gruesome effects and sensationalism, couldn’t take their eyes off him.
"Neither could Louis."
Paris, 1912. Louis is a frequent patron of the Theatre du Grand Guignol. Harry is a performer. Tonight he's playing the Devil.
The Case Of The (Definitely Not Haunted) Styles Mansion by Anonymous
“So there’s a sense of humor buried beneath all that condescension, huh?” Louis said when he’d stopped laughing.
“It’s not condescension, it’s intelligence. I understand you might not be able to recognize it yourself,” Marcel said, then slapped a hand over his mouth. “Oh god, I’m sorry.”
Louis stepped closer, his eyes on Marcel’s face. “For being an asshat?”
“For being rude,” Marcel said, from beneath his palm.
Louis shifted a half-step closer until he was at the very edge of Marcel’s personal space. It felt like he was nudging at it, asking to be let in. Marcel flushed hot for no reason.
“Lucky for you it takes quite a lot to actually insult me,” Louis said taking one step closer. Too close. Too close.
Marcel met Louis’ eyes. Those blue eyes that reminded Marcel of poetry instead of science, lyrics instead of formulas. They were so pretty he wanted to drown in them.
---
Or the Nancy Drew AU where Marcel is a man of logic, Louis is a private detective who believes in ghosts, and the Styles Mansion is definitely, absolutely, positively *not* haunted.
Through Eerie Chaos by MediaWhore / @mediawhorefics
For as long as anyone can remember, Old Hillsbridge Manor has always been believed to be haunted. Everyone in the village agrees and keeps a respectful, fearful, distance. New in town after a bad breakup and an internship that led to disappointment rather than a permanent job, Harry Styles figures taking pictures of the decrepit building could be a great new creative project. Or at least a much-needed distraction while he searches for a job and crashes at his parents’ new house. No one warned him about the apparitions though; about the music, the laughter, the people who flicker and vanish when you call after them, the echoes of a past that should be long gone… Harry has never believed in spirits but even he can admit that there’s something weird going on. What starts as mere curiosity evolves into a full-blown investigation and soon enough, Harry finds himself making friends with an aristocrat from the 1920s and struggling with finding the best way to tell him that he’s dead.
The Ghost Hunter AU where Niall lives to prove ghosts are real, Zayn is a skeptical librarian and Harry gets caught up in a century-old mystery and catches feeling in the process.
We’re What’s Right In This World by BriaMaria / @briannamarguerite
“Why did you talk like that in Brighton? If you weren’t planning on ever telling me?” Louis asked. “Is it because you think you’re going to die?”
“It’s war, Lou,” Harry said finally.
The words were a knife slipped between his ribs. Everything hurt and he was bleeding. He shifted up, his palms cradling Harry’s jaw, his lips against his boy’s. Not kissing, just resting there, so Louis could feel him. “Promise you’ll come back to me.”
Harry’s hands smoothed down the sides of Louis’ body. “You know I can’t do that. I’ll never lie to you.”
“Promise me. We’re going to have our cottage. And our dogs. And our breakfast in the garden where nothing grows because of the wind from the sea. Promise me.”
“I won’t.” Stubborn as always, his boy. “I’ll promise you, I’ll love you all my life. I’ll promise you, you’ll never leave my thoughts. I’ll promise you, you’re my forever and my always. But promising you something I can’t cheapens the things I can.” ---- Or the World War II AU where Harry goes off to fight and all Louis wants to do is be the boy who brings him home.
Paint The Sky With Stars by kiwikero / @icanhazzalou
On 10 April 1912, Harry Styles boards the finest ship the world has ever seen. Still grieving the death of their mother, he and his sister are being sent to America to live with a callous uncle who cares more about his business connections than family. Harry prepares himself for a long, disappointing voyage alone in his stateroom.
Louis Tomlinson has borrowed and saved, and finally has enough to purchase a Third Class ticket to America. With all of his belongings in a single ruck sack, he boards the Titanic filled with hope for a brighter future. Never one to sit still, he can’t resist exploring the massive ship, and soon goes sneaking into First Class in a stolen steward’s uniform.
By a twist of fate, Louis finds himself in Harry’s stateroom, entranced by the most attractive man he’s ever laid eyes on. He keeps returning day after day, even if he doesn’t understand what it is about Harry that continues pulling him in. That’s all right; Louis has a week to figure it out, and Harry is plenty willing to help.
Except they don’t have a week. They have four days. Because on 15 April, their entire world will be turned upside down.
Or, the historically accurate Titanic AU with a happy ending.
Say Hallelujah, Say Goodnight  by @alivingfire
Louis is an angel who is just a little too bad to be good, Harry is a demon who is just a little too good to be bad, and they're both a little too in love to be impartial when angels and demons go to war.
Louis has been alive since life was a mere concept; he watched the summoning of Man into existence, he was there when Eve took the apple. He’s seen seas break the world into separate pieces, he’s watched empires crumble into dust. He’s seen wildfire consume cities, he’s seen the world painted white with snow. He has known the most beautiful humans to walk the planet, he has watched the most powerful mortals gather their riches and influence around them and then die just like the poorest, weakest humans do. He’s met humans whose motives defy explanation, people who use their lives as battering rams, as tools, as weapons, as chess pieces.
None of that stopped Louis in his tracks.
But Harry did.
If you haven’t read Butterfly Gun and you can find someone who has it downloaded (it’s been deleted), read that...it’s set in the 1940′s if I recall correctly and it’s beautifully written.
I haven’t read this one yet, but it was highly recommended to me. It’s a WIP, but the writing is apparently is finished:
Victorian Boy by DonnaHaywardsHead
Victorian AU. Harry the virgin Duke of Somerset knows little of love, while Louis the sly Duke of Warwick knows too much. When the two dukes come together for the Bilsdale fox hunt in York, Harry finds himself drawn into Louis' bed. But when secrets from Louis' dark past come to light, Harry fears that the fox isn't the only one being hunted.
This is another I haven’t had a chance to read but friends told me is wonderful:
Back To You And Tennesee by rippedgloves
Louis Tomlinson rises to rock and roll fame at age twenty three and is thrown into a life of luxury and excess, but being on stage isn’t easy for a boy who has always stuck to the side-lines, and Louis struggles to deal with his new fame as he joins the Grand Ole Opry and is sent out on tour with names like Liam Payne and Elvis Presley. His life takes a turn, however, when his childhood role model, Harry Styles, joins them on tour, and the two become closer than two men in the spotlight are allowed to be.
-
OR, the one where Louis is Johnny Cash and Harry is June Carter

The World Turns on Joe Biden
Tumblr media
The whole world seems to be turning on Joe Biden. While he and Kamala both have been seen to be attempting to laugh it all off, the recent actions with how his administration has handled Afghanistan have resulted in Republicans and Democrats alike questioning his ability to lead the United States, while leaders from around the world speak out against his decisions.
Days after the former President Donald Trump held a massive rally in Alabama, Biden seems to be losing more and more support from here in America to the world abroad. While many want to see a return to true leadership from the United States, the current leadership seems to be continually failing in everything that they attempt to accomplish. Between rising inflation, the massive failure in Afghanistan, mask mandates, vaccine pushing, and the continual censorship and demonization of anyone who asks questions about anything, as well as his own continual refusal to let media question anything that wasn’t a pre planned question (how many times has Biden walked away when asked questions now?), people are beginning to see through the illusion of competence that has been portrayed since the beginning of his run for the presidency and well after and into seemingly becoming elected.
In recent interviews, Biden has tried to shrug off his failures, even going as far as laughing at the situation he has helped create. In one of the most recent televised discussions, a reporter confronted Biden on his public approval.
The reporter said to Biden, “Americans wanted to withdraw from Afghanistan, but they disapprove of the way you have handled it. The poll also found that based in part with what has transpired in the last week, the majority of Americans, forgive me, I’m just the messenger, no longer consider you to be competent, focused or effective in the job.”
Biden scratched his nose and said, “I haven’t seen that poll.”
The reporter followed by saying, “It’s out there. CBS this morning.”
Biden then began laughing at the thought from his podium.
During a brief from the White House, another reporter asked Biden, “Do you trust the Taliban?”
Biden then replied, “I don’t trust anybody including you. I love you but there’s not a lot of people I trust.”
Even ABC News is revealing its concerns. During a special report live broadcast, one of its reporters said, “This very much remains a disaster and one of the contributing factors here is when you listen to the president, he is saying things that simply do not comport with the reality that we are seeing with our own eyes.”
NBC News cut away from a White House briefing from Joe Biden as soon as the first reporter asked “what is your thought process” on Afghanistan.
During a segment on Dan Bongino’s Unfiltered show, he called for the immediate resignation of Joe Biden, saying that, “The first message is for Joe Biden, our president in name only: You failed. You are a total, epic, colossal apocalyptic failure. You failed the American people, you failed our country, you failed our military, our Army, our Marines, our Air Force, our Navy, you failed the Afghan people, you failed our allies. You, you, you failed everyone. Because you were a coward. You failed. History will remember this as one of the most colossal, epic political failures in America’s history. And you did this. Not our military. You did this.”
Bongino continued, “And not only did you fail, when your failures became obvious to everyone, when we watched Afghans fall off planes trying to get out of a country taken over by medieval savages, you dismissed them, telling people ‘Don’t worry, it was just a couple of days ago’.
Bongino concluded, “Biden should resign immediately. Biden should have resigned yesterday, in fact, he should have resigned last week. Listen, that’s a serious message. I don’t take it lightly. If he doesn’t resign, Joe Biden should be impeached. I get what you are saying that we would be handing the country to Kamala Harris. Ladies and gentlemen, it can’t get any worse.”
Lindsey Graham agrees with this assessment, along with several other members of the Republican Party, sharing online that, “If we leave Americans behind, or if we leave thousands of Afghans who fought bravely alongside us behind, President Biden deserves to be impeached for a High Crime and Misdemeanor of Dereliction of Duty.”
Americans aren’t the only ones stepping up with messages against Joe Biden’s actions in Afghanistan. Czech president Milos Zeman says, “by withdrawing from Afghanistan, the Americans have lost their status of global leader.”
UK Parliament member Tom Tugendhat, who spent time himself fighting in Afghanistan, said, “To see their commander in chief call into question the courage of men I fought with, to claim they ran, is shameful.
Chris Byrant of the Labour Party there stated that Biden’s recent comments are “some of the most shameful comments ever from an American president.”
A segment from Sky News Australia ended with an entire panel of reporters collectively laughing at Joe Biden. Speaking on how Americans have turned on Joe Biden and making jokes about his job and covering for the Hunter Biden laptop scandals, prostitution failures and art mishaps, they said, “Joe Biden says that Hunter Biden is the smartest person he knows… he’s dumber than a bag of rocks.”
They concluded the broadcast after laughing saying that, “The tragedy is, I suspect you were right, that Hunter Biden probably is the smartest person he knows. & there you go.”
No matter if anything changes with Biden being president, I personally still wonder if Kamala would be capable of doing any better. I miss the leadership of Donald Trump, but I know that many across the nation and world would disagree with that thought. The Arizona election audit is supposed to release information this week, but looking at the past with things like the Durham Report, who knows if anything will actually move forward. The future is unknown entirely, but the moment sure is a mess.

Further to last post, rough anime timeline...
1970s - Marine Boy, aired on the BBC for a time.
1980s Gatchaman - aired on BBC in it's butchered Battle Of The Planets form.
1990 - Akira - travelled to Edinburgh to see it in the cinema on limited release.
1990s - mostly whatever Manga Video decided to release in the UK, which included a lot of shite. They were going for a very specific teenage male audience for a good number of years, I believe their next release after Akira was Legend Of The Overfiend which says a lot.
Luckily, also during this time there was a local anime club so the first thing I saw after Akira was Lupin III:Castle Of Cagliostro which made me an instant fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Lupin III. Also saw Grave Of The Fireflies, Devil Hunter Yoko, the Silent Mobius movie and other stuff. Also turned out my flatmate was friends with the bloke who ran the club so we got various tapes of stuff at times, including the Gundam 0079 movies with no subs or dub and some silly SD Gundam shows, again with no subs or dub. Also Ranma 1/2.
2000s - DVDs and a couple of trips to America including trawling through anime stores netted me better versions of some stuff I had on video in the 90s (Dominion Tank Police), stuff I didn't know existed (the Silent Mobius series, which I think still never had a release here in the UK, 15 years later) and very the decade things got licenced and released in the UK and sometimes it took a while and I imported US discs (hello FLCL) but it meant I got a bunch of Studio Ghibli movies, Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop and others.
I also obtained a copy of Azumanga Daioh through some means and suddenly comedy antics anime got added to the list of stuff I liked.
2010s - streaming and Blu-ray's happened, so I've had a chance to try lots of new and old animes in this decade. My ten favourites have been...
Planetes (2003) - great hard sci-fi show about an orbital debris retrieval crew.
Nichijou (2011) - comedy antics schoolgirl show, very much the next step after Azumanga Daioh except it goes even further with the wackiness.
Stein's Gate (2011) - starts up as goofy mad scientist shenanigans, takes a real turn to darker stuff at a point. It pre-emptively spoiled a major plot point in a series of modern Doctor Who and an implication in a big sci-fi movie because this did them better.
Durarara!! (2010) - starts off slice-of-life anime with a single, extremely awesome, supernatural element, gets more complicated, has one of my favourite sequences ever in an anime which I can't talk about as it's a mahoosive spoiler and is generally a lot of fun.
Little Witch Academia (2017) - Harry Potter but at an all-girl school and more anime. Just got into this thanks to Netflix and it's had me in tears of laughter several times.
Space Dandy (2014) - silly, wacky space adventure shenanigans. Maybe has negative continuity as I'm sure at least one episode ends with the ship exploding and everyone dying yet they're all fine at the beginning of the next episode. Has awesome opening and closing songs.
Laid-back Camp (2018) - adventures in camping, lovely chilled out show with actual useful camping tips interspersed throughout. First episode is available free on Crunchy Roll's YouTube channel.
Persona 4 (2011) - based on one of my favourite videogames and follows it's plot very closely. Transfer student goes to live with uncle for a year. There's a serial killer. Something in the fog. The urban legend of The Midnight Channel. Portals to somewhere else and fighting your dark sides using cards and demons. It's awesome.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan (2007) - the anime personification of "That escalated quickly!" Starts with boy escaping his underground cave network home. Then things escalate. Then escalate again. And again. And again. And then one more time for good measure. Has the line "Greetings, defiant human scum!" which has joined "And up yours." and "DINSDALE!!!" As things I randomly exclaim.
Spice & Wolf (2008) - travelling medieval merchant suddenly find himself accompanied by a wolf goddess on his travels. Seemed a bit sketchy in first episode but ended up being utterly fun and wholesome mild adventure series. I ended up humming the first closing theme song for months.

Writers that Changed Me
The authors of my life who inspired me to follow their footsteps.
I hate to have to decide my absolute favourites and so, for the safety of both my mind and those in my immediate vicinity, this list is not in order of favouritism.
1. Derek Landy (The Skulduggery Pleasant Series)
“Detective, magician, warrior... oh yes, and dead.”
Derek Landy is a mad genius. Not only does he encapsulate best way of “getting to the point” in a story without so much unnecessarily fluffy words but he manages to deliver this in a way that leaves me tearful in either comedy or tragedy. His characters speak and interact with each other in such witty sarcasm in even such dire situations sends me a clear message - that the readers may love and be flabbergasted by the incredible worlds that Landy creates, but his characters have no such compulsion to enjoy the dangers they are constantly thrown into.
2. JRR Tolkien (The Middle-Earth Series)
“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”
He started it all off - the hero that the fantasy genre got and deserves. I won’t lie, I do not admire Tolkien for his writing as much as I admire him for his ideas and his pioneering of the genre. He’s the reason why so many writers can spend so long on perfecting the setting of their stories, trying to imitate the rich culture and history of Middle-Earth. Without him, I bet we wouldn’t have such things as Dungeons and Dragons or many of the other fantasy role-playing games and of course, far less of the fantasy novels we know today. It goes without saying that JRR Tolkien truly changed the imaginative world.
3. Michelle Paver (The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness)
“Suddenly death was upon them. A frenzy of claws. A welter of sound to make the ears bleed. In a heartbeat, the creature had smashed their shelter to splinters.”
These books. These goddamn books. The first instalment of this series, Wolf Brother, was where it all began for me and ten years from now, I can proudly say that it was this book’s rich atmosphere that would set me on the path to being a writer. You can tell that she did her research here because for the entirety of this young adult’s book you truly feel like a stone age hunter from every animal Torak tracks to the release of air from his lungs as he looses arrows from his bow. The beautiful thing is that this book based on the ancient world is steeped in supernatural beasts and creatures, setting up my foundation love for finding wonder in a believable world.
4. Darren Shan (The Demonata and the Saga of Darren Shan)
“It is good to be taught humility when we are young. If we do not experience pain as children, we will cause pain as adults.“
Darren Shan brings out the little kid in me and subjects my inner child to untold horrors. Usually, saying such things would only result in a court hearing but here, Mr Shan does it with all that horror that involves lots of gooey blood and slime. If one were to pick up one of his books, they might toss it aside thinking it to be immature or childish and to be fair on the man, that’s the audience he was going for in the first place. And yet, when one reads on, they feel themselves becoming like the kids they once were with mischievous shenanigans and cheeky comments. Then Mr Shan proceeds to take that child and gleefully show them images of their family being murdered brutally by demons, vampires or any other horror monster he can imagine. It’s simple, straightforward and helps to bridge the gap between child’s horror and adult horror in a satisfying transition.
5. Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Coraline, American Gods and Neverwhere)
“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
Nobody has ever been able to whisk me away to a whimsical and creative world as easily and in such a state of willingness like Neil Gaiman. Describing him simply as a fantasy writer would seem incorrect yet accurate at the same time, as he bases many of his stories in the real world with strange and bizarre things happening within them that the main character can’t help but tumble into. He makes many references to things such as folklore, mythology and ancient pantheons so that although these worlds are amazing and astounding, we feel an odd familiarity with them. Many writers do a good job of presenting a world and dropping the reader into it but Neil Gaiman doesn’t have to try this hard; if he shows us a world, we want to dive headlong into it.
6. Brian Jacques (Tales of Redwall)
“Even the strongest and bravest must sometimes weep. It shows they have a great heart, one that can feel compassion for others.”
The Tales of Redwall series once dominated my childhood and sat here as an adult, it took me a long time to work out just why that was. For anybody not fully aware of the Redwall books, it consists of a fantasy world which is home to anthropomorphic animals who remain locked in conflict with each other in one way or another. It would sound very tame and childish if not for unexpectedly brutal and vivid fights and scenes. Then it struck me that these animals actually personified different characters. Matthias, the mouse monk who seemed frail in stature but fierce for the defence of his friends, or Lord Brocktree, the badger warrior whose might was equalled only by his sense of justice, and Cluny the Scourge, the rat warlord who was equal parts traitorous as he was cunning and evil. These tales took a medieval world and made them appeal to the imaginative senses of children, and for that I am forever grateful of Brian Jacques.
7. Terry Pratchett (The Discworld Series)
“Stupid men are often capable of things the clever would not dare to contemplate.”
The late Sir Terry Pratchett was the greatest author the modern world has ever seen. Yep, i said it and I mean it, anybody who disagrees with me knows where to find me. You can’t really argue with the works he left behind, such as Discworld which speaks for itself as a series of 41 books. None of them were lazily done either, for those who believe it’s either about quality or quantity will realise that Terry Pratchett had both under his belt and hat. Every book was a parody so ridiculous in it’s nature that it took on a value of it’s own, every book of his leaving me in stitches more than once. This humour wasn’t even meaningless either, as every book for all it’s silliness never failed to be coupled with some inside meaning; a theme that encompassed the morale of the tale. Terry Pratchett made the art of writing seem so easy and real that all of those writers who were crazy enough couldn’t help but try it themselves. Rest in peace, Mr Pratchett. *Salutes*
8. Philip Reeve (The Mortal Engines Series)
“ “You aren't a hero and I'm not beautiful and we probably won't live happily ever after" she said, "But we're alive and together and we're going to be all right. “
Oh boy, where to start with this one. Philip Reeve certainly had his imagination cap on for this series, as it’s hard to imagine a post-apocalyptic future where Earth cities are now upon the backs of motorised platforms, their only way of surviving and thriving is to chase down other cities and pull them apart. Anybody who is still with me at this point gets to hear the real beauty of these tales though  - the characters. They have a way of tearing you away from what you imagine as a conventional hero and instead of perfect protagonists, we are given characters who could easily be seen as villains should they have made one single different choice. It takes the story and brings it down to earth, as the people who are often perfect in these stories usually end up being villains, traitors or far too nice to last five seconds in this brutal world. In other worlds, we get to cheer on far-from-perfect heroes and watch either love or hate blossom between some of the least likely people imaginable.
9. Eoin Colfer (The Artemis Fowl Series)
“If I win, I’m a prodigy. If I lose then I’m mad. That’s the way history is written.”
I remember the controversy back in the day when Artemis Fowl was released alongside the Harry Potter series and through the natural course of people favouring the latter, Eoin Colfer’s first release was often slandered as being a rip-off. Because of this unfortunate rumour that spread like wildfire, I didn’t read Artemis Fowl until recently whilst I was away on holiday. I was happy to discover that it was more like a blend of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Terry Pratchett and Ocean’s Eleven. The character of Artemis himself gives us a very long list of reasons to hate him. He’s rich, thinks himself superior to everybody else and he’s pretty much the one causing all the trouble in the story by trying to con a fairy community of their gold, as well as getting his butler to dirty his hands in his place. This should all make him the villain and yet despite all this, you can’t help but love Artemis because throughout about 99% of the story, he is the one who is in control and he is the one moving the plot forward. He is the perfect example of a proactive character who is loved, even if what he does cannot truly be seen as the right choice.
10. HP Lovecraft (Dagon, The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror)
“The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest fear is fear of the unknown.”
My love for Lovecraft’s works is possibly my most recent of all the authors on this list as his is possibly the most adult of them all. When one thinks of conventional horror, they like to imagine gothic horror with supernatural beings such as demons and vampires and ghosts, beings that were created with the intention of scaring people who at one point had been steeped in religious teachings. Lovecraft created cosmic horror with the intended goal of scaring those who did not believe in anything other than science. He relied on stories of people being subjected to horrors that could not be explained by science and yet were so real to defy conventional methods of possibility. This logic-shattering experience made characters question the laws of nature themselves, often leading to the inevitable Lovecraftian fate of insanity, madness or even outright despair because the brain simply could not handle the fact that existence was being questioned as an outright lie. Lovecraft left a terrifying legacy that neyond the visible safety of the campfire, truly anything that our minds could or could not conceive could be looking upon humanity with disdain... and we would be little more than insects to them.
This was a big one, I must admit. If you were engaged enough to read all your way to the very end then thank you so much for staying with me the whole way! Happy writing everyone!

Roleplay ad!!
Hey, guys! Name's Rhys, twenty one years old, and living in the CT. Currently, I am looking for both fandom and original roleplays-- I do want to mention beforehand, I don't want to be the one upholding the creation of story development. For the past few years, I've been forced into this, and I am especially burned out with having to deal with it all by myself. I need teamwork, cooperation, or a partnership won't work out, sorry. I do third person, past/present tense, and paragraph form. Semi-lit, please be prepared to do more than just a few sentences. Four-five paragraphs preferred, but I totally understand if the situation just calls for shorter responses, but not all of the time. The link right below this is a doc to some of my writing samples. Feel free to check them out! https://docs.google.com/document/d/18n3iuj4m9X1hBo9P2IezrKdTfkTrSKt0H34ZP6v3hHs I do m/m, f/f, m/f, f/m, any relationships; trans/nb, trans/cis, nb/cis, etc. I welcome all the LGBT, as I am of the queer community myself! Email or google docs only, please. LIMITS ------ -No unrealistic stereotypes of queer relationships, please. Yaoi, yuri, seme/uke, etc. Can't do that. Characters need to both have versatile roles; switching, so it's fair for everyone. Though, my characters do tend to be a lot more dominating! {{Very welcoming of BDSM, dom/sub, but this does not mean someone needs to be penetrated every single time in order for the dom to dominate. Get it? This can also apply to heterosexual relationships. I would literally love to see female characters who top, if you know what I mean. It's a pretty common thing, but not many people here seem down with it lol}} -Furries; blegh, no thanks. Beastiality, nekos, anything of sexual animal-related nature is a no-go, fam. -Vore, scat, bathroom stuff, pedophilia. You know the drill! ((I am not opposed to consensual, legal age and non-reproducing incestuous relationships in FICTION! Sex is fine, just no children resulting from it. Reminder; this is fictional.)) Okay, so despite those few limits, I am actually pretty welcoming of anything else. Smut, of course. Some kink a little out there that you want to suggest? Let's do it, dude. I am open to polyamorous relationships, any queer shit you're willing to throw at me lmao I am super OOC friendly and I am pretty much a garbled mess when I get to know you! I am open to crooked relationships, ones that don't function right, fluff and all cuteness, unconditional love-- my interests fluctuate! I am down, 24/7, guys! Here's a list of fandoms and pairings below. ------ ***=Craving Borderlands -Handsome Jack/Rhys*** -Handsome Jack/Rhys/Nisha*** -Rhys/Axton -Handsome Jack/Nisha*** -Fiona/Athena -Fiona/Vaughn -Rhys/Vaughn Until Dawn -Josh Washington/Chris -Chris/Mike -Jess/Mike -Sam/Beth -Matt/Jess -Emily/Matt/Jess Life is Strange -Max Caulfield/Chloe Price -Max Caulfield/Kate Marsh/Victoria Chase -Nathan Prescott/Warren Graham*** -Rachel Amber/Chloe Price*** -Rachel Amber/Frank Bowers DC -Dick Grayson/Jason Todd*** -Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson -Dick Grayson/Koriand'er -Dick Grayson/Wally West*** -Oliver Queen/Dinah Lance -Harley Quinn/Pamela Isley -Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent -Diana Prince/Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne Marvel -Steve Rogers/Tony Stark -Tony Stark/Bruce Banner -Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes -Bucky Barnes/Sam Wilson -Clint Barton/Pietro Maximoff -Peter Parker/Harry Osborn*** -Peter Parker/Wade Wilson -Gwen Stacy/Peter Parker/Harry Osborn Uncharted -Nathan Drake/Samuel Drake -Nathan Drake/Harry Flynn*** -Chloe Frazer/Nadine Ross -Samuel Drake/Rafe Adler*** Game of Thrones -Arya Stark/Gendry Waters -Sansa Stark/Margaery Tyrell -Daenerys Targaryen/Jon Snow TTGOT -Asher Forrester/Gwyn Whitehill -Rodrik Forrester/Arthur Glenmore*** -Mira Forrester/Margaery Tyrell -Gared Tuttle/Finn -Gared Tuttle/Josera Snow The Walking Dead -Rick Grimes/Shane Walsh -Rick Grimes/Negan*** -Daryl Dixon/Paul “Jesus” Rovia -Luke/Nick -Javier Garcia/David Garcia*** -Clementine/Gabriel Garcia*** The Mortal Instruments -Simon Lewis/Raphael Santiago -Simon Lewis/Jace Lightwood*** -Isabelle Lightwood/Lydia Branwell -Alec Lightwood/Magnus Bane Be More Chill -Jeremy Heere/Michael Mell*** -Chloe Valentine/Brooke Lohst -Jake Dillinger/Rich Goranski Dear Evan Hansen -Evan Hansen/Connor Murphy*** Infamous: Second Son -Delsin Rowe/Reggie Rowe -Delsin Rowe/Eugene Sims -Delsin Rowe/Hank Daughtry Steven Universe -OC/OC verse welcome! Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator -Anyone/your dadsona (for the love of god someone give me a good, not cliche john doe dadsona and you will win my heart!! I just want to play a dad lol bring me some great ass ocs) Heathers -Kurt Kelly/Ram Sweeney -Heather Chandler/Veronica Sawyer -Veronica Sawyer/Jason “JD” Dean - Some basic ideas that I do have pretty big doc ideas for; -The Last of Us inspired, using the general plot of the game. -Literally anything zombie-apocalypse inspired -Sugar daddy or mommy/Sugar baby*** -Big shot CEO/Rookie -Gladiator/Royal heir -Criminal/Law enforcer -Hero/Villain, Hero/Anti-hero, etc. -Jock/Nerd (this trope is my shit omg) -Medieval families, arranged marriages -Extrovert/Introvert*** -One night stands turned into something more -Childhood sweethearts -Supernatural; demon/spirit, demon/hunter, demon/human, angel/human, angel/demon -Best friends turned lovers -A few marine biologists go to an island off the coast to study the marine life there, which in turn, turns out to be something much bigger. ((Loosely based mermaid plot, can go into much bigger detail!))*** -Super expansive GOT-like fantasy plot with backgrounds, continents, etc. -Rivaling supernatural gangs (say, werewolf packs or vampire clans) -Soul mates; it can be like some of those AU’s where you don’t see color until you meet them, your tattooed timer counts down until then, or maybe even soul mates continuously reincarnating and one of the two has killed them for centuries in order to be “immortal”. For the first time, the victimized partner gets close enough that the other begins to fall and they start aging, together. -Young person (A) inherits an old mansion in a rural town from an unknown relative. A finds that the town is off-- people are starting to disappear, and no bodies are being found. A discovers their relative was hunting the “beast” by all of the information piled up in the attic and salt smeared in the cracks of the floors. B is a disguised demon in the small population-- they initially intended to get rid of A’s relative in fear of being exposed.. but it turns out, there is a much bigger threat than B or any of the other inconspicuous supernaturals among the town--- a monster is coming, and with it, a potential end to the world as they know it. Will B and A team up together? Can A look past B’s true evils, and can B learn to help a descendant of the infamous ‘monster’ hunters? -A doesn’t have any memories of their life, only being conscious and staring down at a mutilated body in a ditch. When they meet B, they learn why; welcome to limbo, they say. You just died. A has unfinished business; finding out who murdered them, why, and what else is holding them here. B is a reaper intent on helping lost souls pass over-- they were never born, and A shows them the delights of life before it’s taken. B learns to love A, and A doesn’t want to leave limbo. While A’s soul is clinging between realities, B must make a pivotal decision; squeezing tight on the concept of love, and letting A go. (BONUS!! REINCARNATION; A & B ARE GIVEN THE GIFT OF LIVING AGAIN, TOGETHER.) -Coming of age story between two childhood friends who are separated by circumstance, and after ten years, reunite and learn that your first love doesn’t have to be the one that got away. -Two friends drop their whole lives to go on a road trip once they turn thirty-- they elope together, leaving their unhappy lives behind them and in this grand scheme of mental breakdowns and tearful smiles, they find that love may be the only cure to a broken existence. ..and many more!! Thanks so much! If you've read through, please contact me at [email protected] and mention kiwi somewhere in your email. n_n Rhys xoxo
