DA PUMP新曲イベントに2000人超 ISSA感激「想像を遥かに超えている」 

お待ちかねの「U.S.A.」に突入すると、それまで大勢を占めていた女性ファンの声援にまじって男性ファンの声援も。この曲にいち早く反応したのがハ ロー！プロジェクトファンだと言われ、SNS上では「DA PUMPの新曲のハロプロみがやばい」「DA PUMPってハロプロに入った？」「DA PUMP＝ハロプロ説」などと口コミを広げ、このイベントのためにコール動画まで作ってDA PUMPファンと共有した。                

　イベントが行われたサンシャインシティと隣接する池袋サンシャイン劇場では、午後7時からモーニング娘。’18主演舞台『ファラオの墓』が上演されるめ ぐり合わせもあり、ハロプロファンも来場。会場はDA PUMPファンとハロプロファンの「オイ！オイ！」の熱烈コールに包まれたが、ISSAはイントロで「ちょっとちょっと止めて。聞いてないけど。『オイ！ オイ！』って声聞こえるけど…小っちゃいんじゃないの？　もっといけるよね？」と来場者をあおりまくってやり直し。1回目以上に大きなコールが飛び交い、 「フワフワ」「フッフー」「L・O・V・E ラブリーISSA」といった黄色い声と野太い声のコールが入り混じって大盛り上がり。アンコールでもう一回熱演し、会場はコールと歓声の嵐に包まれた。

As they started performing the long-awaited their new single U.S.A. some male cheers joined in the female cheers which had been dominant in the venue until then. It's said that the Hello! Project fandom was the first to appreciate the song, sharing their comments on SNS like "When did DA PUMP join Haropuro?" or "DA PUMP embodies Haropuro's spirit" and they even made a guidance movie about how to respond to U.S.A. in the H!P manner to be shared with the DA PUMP fandom. Since the venue for the DA PUMP's event is very near to the theatre where Morning Musume has been performing the play The Tomb of Pharaoh, many Haropuro fans happened to come over. When the audience consisting of DA PUMP fans and Haropuro fans started yelling "Oi! Oi!" which is very typical in idol concerts not in DA PUMP's concerts, ISSA suddenly claimed to stop the music. And he said "I'm not acknowledged of this. This kind of yelling to happen in our concert, like Oi Oi…" The audience got a bit puzzled. He continued "I'm afraid you guys doing it too quietly. I bet you can do it much louder!" He stirred up the audience and started over the performance. Those chants such as "fuwa fuwa", "fuffuuu", and "L-O-V-E, lovely ISSA" by the audience made with a mix of female and male voices got louder and livened up the concert. DA PUMP answered the audience’s intense response by performing the song once again in the end.

I'm kinda new to jpop but i kinda want to escape kpop and jpop seems to be just as exciting. i only know Faky well and i do know the names of the big girl groups in Japan but not many songs by them are familiar to me. Do you mind making me a short list of groups and songs for newbies and maybe a website where I can get the latest news or something? Thank you!

anyway, coming straight to the point...

as you can see i absolutely LOVE Hello! Project groups, they are really easy to listen to and have excessive international fanbase (compared to other acts), so you will find news about them without trouble. As for now Hello! Project consists of:

Morning Musume (’18) - literally group that is 20 years old. They started in 1997 as five members, then kept adding new ones, while previous members were quitting (or graduating, if we keep the jpop vocabulary). As for now we had 41 members over 14 generations (a generation is made when members are added - the number of members added at once varies from 1 to even 4, but 15 person lineup is maximum).The biggest hits they had include: love machine, koi no dance site, ren’ai revolution 21, happy summer wedding, aruiteru, one two three, wagamama ki no mama ai no joke. there are so many good songs for them, so if you want to know more, send me another message, i don’t want to flood it there...

Angerme (formely known as S/Mileage) - they are also generational, but they started in 2009 as 4 members. Since then, only one original member left is their leader Wada Ayaka. They had so many good songs lately, but i personally love Umaku Ienai, Dondengaeshi, Mahoutsukai Sally and Taiki Bansei. The member Sasaki Rikako is part-filipina! 

Juice=Juice were touring south america lately and they have many foreign-inspired songs such as ca va? ca va? and fiesta! fiesta! and also their dream road is a gem! 

Country Girls - are the group i personally love, but they become something like holiday-unit, since 2 members decided to focus on their studies, and 3 others were transferred to other groups (the ones i already described). But they are still active since like 1999 (with yearly-long hiatuses but still!). From the newest generation i personally adore ALL their songs, so here you got the playlist. 

Kobushi Factory and Tsubaki Factory - they are the newest groups, so they are just starting, esp Tsubaki. But i recommend Dotsukoi! Kenkyo ni daitan, Sakura Night Fever, Kobushi no Hana, for Kobushi and for Tsubaki - Hatsukoi Sunrise, Uruwashi no Camellia, Shuukatsu Sensation.

So it’s Hello! Project. For keeping up with them the best site you can find is hello-online.org and for translations projecthello.com also there’s helloprojectwikia, so if you want to learn about their history and find some trivia, it’s a go-to.

AS FOR NON-HAROPURO.

I personally love Keyakizaka46, they are part of Sakamichi Group, which are produced by the same guy who created AKB48, which you might heard about, since they are doing the Produce48 with Mnet, lmao. Anyways, Keyaki are quite young, since they debuted last year and CREATED A FREAKING BLAST in Japan, so i think every song they released was a hit? There are currently 43 of them, and 23 are in kanji keyaki (the main group), others are in hiragana keyaki. Songs that i’d recommend, include: Silent Majority, Sekai ni wa Ai shika nai, Shibuya Kara PARCO ga Kieta Hi, Futari Saison, Otona wa shinjitekurenai,Bokutachi no sensou, Fukyouwaon, Eccentric, Kaze ni Fukarete mo.The thing about Keyaki is that you can’t view the original videos from their official yt channel if you don’t have japanese proxy. So the views on links i provided are way lower than what you’ll see on their original, japanese-targeted channel.

AKB48 - are legends, and you can find anything ALL48 related on stage48 and their wikia. Biggest hits include: Heavy Rotation, Koisuru Fortune Cookie (they performed it on MAMA this year lmao), and my personal fav, Kimi Wa Melody, Kuchibiru ni Be my Baby, Ue Kara Mariko.

PASSPO☆ - they are... flight attendant themed group, like i’m not joking. Their leader is named Captain, sub-leader is Chief Purser... really. But they are also a band!! Like full-time band, not the sub-unit kind (ex. AOA Black). The best songs in my opinion are Mr. Wednesday, GPP, Bachelorette wa Owaranai, 7′s Up, Perfect Sky.

And last, but not least, my little kiddies from Team Syachihoko, who started as local idols, but then expanded and are doing budokans now?? How??? I love E-Kurashi, J.A.N.A.I.C.A., Shampoo Hat, Ultra Cho Miracle Super Very Power Ball and Cherie! I posted performance videos where i could, simply because 3BJunior (their agency) has anti-lipsync policy and they are always doing shows live HOW???

Lastly, if you want to get to know other groups, there’s jpop-idols.com, they provide you with music-related news and have quite the database about idols. As for downloading, it’s a pain in the ass, but if you can use torrents, then go to aidoru-online, there’s everything you wish for.

Tsubaki Factory Debut Interview - Asakura Kiki (English Translation)

The members of Tsubaki Factory talk about the songs on their debut single, about themselves and about what they think of each other!

About “Hatsukoi Sunrise”

When I first listened to it, I felt that it really sounded like an anime opening. It feels so fresh since it's a song that Tsubaki Factory hasn't ever done before. When I listen to it, something like a shock runs through my body. It's nice to listen to the tempo and it feels exhilarating. The highlights are the lines spoken by one person before the chorus. All the members get pumped up with a Yeah! so I definitely think that it'll pump everyone up at concerts.

About “Just Try!”

I think this song gives off the vibe of, "This song is truly cool!". There are also a lot of sharp moves in the dance that go along with the song, and there are a lot of times in the choreography when each move ends in precision. The dance is something that everyone can dance to together, so it's a very fun song. Besides that, with lyrics like "Just Try Just Try You have to try or else nothing will happen" that send a cheer to yourself, it makes you think, "I'd like to work hard everyday!". I'd like for everyone to listen to this and Just Try.

About “Uruwashi no Camellia”

This is a song that Tsubaki Factory hasn't had before, either, since it's really cutesy. The dance looks like a fantasy as we start off as mannequins, and then end up as mannequins! The dance is fun and easy to remember, so I'd love if everyone could dance it together. You'll understand once you look at the lyrics, but the words use a literary style that's not used today, and I think putting in words that aren't usually used today adds a type of freshness to it. It gives off a retro feeling that makes you feel like you're in a movie world.

Why did you want to become an idol?

It was because I wanted to stand on the stage and perform cool dances, like Sayashi Riho-san.

I'm very determined in a lot of things. I put my all into everything that I do. I hate straying away from something.

What kind of person is Yamagishi?

She's like a fluffy mascot with how she's always spacing out. Just that alone puts you at ease.

What kind of person is Ogata?

She's a tsundere since she acts cold but is a softie on the inside. She plays a lot of pranks, but she's very kind. Besides that, she says not to worry about things, and she always keeps her calm.

What kind of person is Niinuma?

Her high voice is cute, and I think she's the girliest one in Tsubaki. Her clothes are fashionable, and she has a lot of makeup tools and whatnot.

What kind of person is Tanimoto?

She's usually loud with the way she laughs and talks, and she looks like she's always smiling. She's also Tsubaki's mood maker. Like Niinuma Kisora-chan, she's very stylish.

What kind of person is Kishimoto?

I think she's very energetic and she has a sparkly smile. She's good at talking and getting everyone together.

What kind of person is Ono?

She's funny with the way she moves and makes weird faces like a happy little child. She's good friends with Tanimoto Ami-chan, so they look like they can really have a good laugh together.

What kind of person is Onoda?

She looks cute with her small stature on the outside, but her hand grip is really tight. It hurts so much and it turns your hand red. She also loves herself, and she looks at herself and grins a lot.

What kind of person is Akiyama?

Her Osaka dialect is so cute. I think she's the most childlike. She's everyone's little sister.

What is your role within Tsubaki Factory?

I'm the one that calms the others down with how much I love dogs. I always tell everyone stories of my dogs and send them pictures to put them at ease.

What are your goals now?

For Tsubaki Factory, I want each of our personalities to come out. I also want us to work hard everyday and aim on improving ourselves. For myself, I think I'd like to search for hobbies and stuff that I still don't know about myself.

 “Morning Musume ’18 Concert Tour Fall ~GET SET, GO!~”starts

 For Iikubo Haruna-chan, its her last concert tour but,

 The final performance was announced,

 For 2 days on the 15th and 16th,

We’ll be at NIPPON BUDOKAN!

 Harunan’s graduation performance is December 16th

 Budokan on Saturday and Sunday, I think it’s the first time for it but, I hope lots of people come!! I hope lots of people see it!!

 The last performance has been decided, so the countdown has also started,

 More than, I must do this and that,

I hope I can spend it as much as normal

Berryz工房・°C-uteがハロー！プロジェクトから抜け、1つの時代が幕を閉じ、新たな時代が始まる。 正直、ちょっぴり寂しい気持ちはあるけど、先輩方が創りあげてきてくださったハロプロの歴史を私達ベリキューが受け継ぎ、それを後輩達に託してきました。 決して寂しい気持ちだけではなく、これから新たな歴史を刻んでいき、さらに進化していくんだろうなと思うとすごく楽しみです！

Maasa: Berryz Koubou and C-ute have left Hello!Project. It’s brought the end to an era, and got a new era started as well. To be honest, I’m feeling kind of sad. We the Berrikyuu once succeeded the history of haropuro which our seniors had established, and then we have entrusted it to our juniors. It’s not something all sad. I’m really excited to see how they'd make new history and how they’d develop Hello!Project.
