I just saw this on insta and take note it’s definitely not a perfect translation but it’s the closest I can get to it. And I know there’s a “see translation” function on insta but it’s often not very accurate so I just thought of posting this on here.

I’m not the biggest fan of harimoto or anything but I have always liked him and I found this pretty sweet. I’m not naive to the point of believing that certain athletes/celebrities are perfect or that they can never do any harm, but as imperfect people we can still choose to be kind. And that’s what harimoto did that day. It’s heartwarming.

Ce dimanche, Félix Lebrun est rentré un peu plus dans l’histoire du tennis de table devenant le premier européen à remporter un « WTT Champions » au terme d’un parcours exceptionnel.

Quand ce n’est pas l’un, c’est l’autre. On vibrait la semaine dernière pour les exploits de l’aîné de la fratrie Lebrun. Alexis Lebrun venait d'être sacré champion d’Europe après sa victoire en finale face à l’Allemand Duda. 

Ce dimanche, c’est son petit frère Félix qui lui répond. Le 7e joueur mondial s’est imposé chez lui dans l’Hérault au « WTT Champions » de Montpellier face au Japonais Tomokazu Harimoto (11-7, 11-9, 11-6, 8-11, 11-4).

Un exploit majuscule puisqu’il est le premier français à remporter un tournoi de cet acabit. Mieux encore, il est le premier européen de l’histoire du tennis de table à s’imposer dans cette catégorie.
