Hard 2 Obtain LI Groove. Me and my crew the SD50s made this over 20 years ago. Its was on Atlantic records F5 records is re issuing it and sent me the test pressing the other day. Sounds better then I remember it sounding filter bassline and all. Chopped up an old Melvin Sparks jam for this one. Funny how we all used filtered bass lines back then if I could do it all over again I would bring in a bass player and get more clarity in the low end but hey what did i know it was the trending sound back then. Keep in mind that these ratings change over time with repeat listens. o 5.00 = A Masterpiece (see # foodsicFire) o 4.50 = Near Classic (# foodsicFire) - The album is absolutely amazing and stands a good chance at being named a classic in the upcoming years. Nearly every song is a banger and it has no track-skips. o 4.25 = Excellent (foodsicFire on some) - Has enough to be more than great, but I'm not sure if it has the potential to be fucknomenal in the future. This album will be in constant replay for a good portion of the year and every song is listenable. o 4.00 = Solid - The album is something I'm going to listen to more than a few times and will probably stay in my rotation for the next few months. Only has a few missteps within the project. o 3.75 = Pretty Good - Many of the tracks I can get into but overall nothing great here. o 3.00 to 3.50 = OK to Average - The album might very well have a few stand-out tracks but that's it. There is nothing that is going to keep my attention for more than 1 or 2 days. o 2.25 to 3.00 = Mostly Garbage – If I’m lucky, I’ll find at least one 5-star track worthy of inclusion to my “JewPac Best Of” playlists series so hopefully, my time wasn’t wasted here. o Below 2.00 = Pure Shit.
