This episode was so nice and I was so happy watching it. Less than 24 hours later I am sobbing over pandora hearts but that will be for another post

Vincent and Diederich had the same voices I always imagined for them so I am very happy! The angst when Harcour fell victim of the cake was hilarious (sorry my child). I wouldn't have minded if they added some stuff to Vincent's past tho, I want to know how he won. I didn't expect them to remove the little pannel of Snake or some of the servant's interactions but I guess we can't really complain since the studio is making an amazing work.

Greenhill is such a nice boy, hearing the admiration in his voice when he was thinking about Edward was healing for my soul. And speaking of Edward, his voice actor did such a nice job with him this episode! And I loved how they put the two different description together instead of separating them per episode (yes I was terrified of this when I saw there was so little time left of the ep).

Can't wait to see the next episode animated!

After a stay between their home in Nuneham and Blenheim Palace, the new earl and countess Harcourt had made their return to London, where the season was in full swing. Families flocked to London for the opening of parliament. Already, the modiste had a line out the door with mama’s fussing over their daughters. The Queen’s presentation had yet to begin and already but Richard’s mind was not on the upcoming debutants. Even as he walked through the bustling streets, all Richard could think about was Margaret. 

As soon as they had arrived in London, Richard had begun to feel as if something had shifted between the two. At first he assumed it was because they did not travel for their honeymoon but Margaret wasn’t the type to hold onto such trivial things, or so Richard had assumed. With the hassle of travel, Richard had assumed his wife needed a treat, and that was the reason for his early morning errand. Gunters had only just opened for the day and Richard was there, waiting outside to pick up a scoop of peach ice cream and another of almond, the very flavors Margaret had picked when they first met. It seemed a little romantic to Richard but he wanted this season to be smoother sailing than their previous one. 

When Richard arrived back at Harcourt house, he planned on heading right up to the drawing room where Margaret likely was but his valet, John Marshall, stopped Richard in his tracks. John was a good man, always loyal to the Harcourt’s, so when he expressed concern over Margaret’s supposed lack of appetite and increased fatigue, Richard’s heart started to race. He would not lose another person in his life, though Marshall tried to assure him that the news was not so dire, Richard simply could not hear the latter part.

Rushing into the drawing room, Richard must have looked like a madman. He practically burst into the room with the icecream still in hand. “I apologize for interrupting you.” Richard looked at his wife and saw she looked perfectly well. He felt rather foolish. “I…” I coughed to clear his throat. “I thought I would surprise you with some ice cream before it melts.” John was right behind Richard, placing spoons down for the newlyweds with a concerned look casting over Margaret. “Are you well my dear, John said you weren’t feeling well and I was a little worried.” A little was a bit of an understatement but Richard did not want to worry her.

I would like to thank Veronica Roth & Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for my copy of the ARC.  Due to this kind gesture, I have decided to leave an honest review.

I love Veronica Roth, Divergent is one of my favourite series but what in the good god damnation was this??  Sure, the last part of the book was good, enough to make it 3 stars but no!  I am sticking with the two and a half.

When a band of 5 misfit teenagers come together to fight the chosen one, what happens long after they have defeated him?  What happens after the huge ordeal that caused major trauma?  Who picks up the pieces? Can you ever really get over this?  Or is our chosen one's sanities dangling at the edge of a very steep cliff?

 This really had the chance to get down gritty, after so many YA books wrap everything up nicely by the end of it I was hoping we were going to see shit get real.  This could have been a deep, dark psychological thriller but it wasn't.  It felt like Roth was still speaking to her YA audience which was extremely disappointing.

All the characters except Sloan were extremely underdeveloped, we don't really know them.  We had bits here and there but you could literally take or leave them.  I didn't even really have a connection with anyone, the only reason I mention Sloan as she is the only one that is really talked about.

One thing I couldn't get into was the jumping back to classified documents, this really got on my nerves and it was putting me off the book as I found most of it useless, you could have found your way through the book without them. I still don't get the point of them but hey!

The book wasn't all that bad.  The last 30% probably could have made it a 3-star review, but I just could let go of the other 70%.  I will certainly read on, I am looking forward to another book but I am hoping it hits a little darker.
