It's been a year since the lovely engagement shoot of Ruby and Dale of Happy Couples. The weather was perfect that day. And the sun shined at her best. The happy couple was a natural. It's amazing how love reflects in all the things they do. And where there's love, there's light and everything becomes beautiful.

Wedding: Sid and Jan

Right love is the one that waits for the right time, and it is definitely the kind of love Sid and Jan have. Their celebration was simple yet heartfelt, witnessed by people closest to their hearts. At first, we thought they would not get emotional because they are one of those cool couples — chill, relaxed, but funny — and it was just as beautiful as the emotional weddings we have been to for it was genuine. But love is such a powerful feeling. Sometimes, it kicks so hard it becomes uncontainable. And on that day, we could feel it not only from Sid and Jan, but also from everyone who witnessed the new beginning of their colorful love story. It became an emotional day that even I, who only knew them for a short time and was only there to capture their moments, cried because there was too much love.

Birthday: Kalista at One

Kalista's first birthday was full of love, smile and laughter! You can surely tell just by looking at the photographs. The dainty-themed party was so pink, light and easy on the eyes. The parlor games were just too fun! All the kids participated and gave their best (the dance showdown was my favorite!), and the adults were really supportive! Kali is truly blessed with family and friends who are very energetic and positive. I'm sure there isn't going to be a dull moment in her life! It was, indeed, a happy day for everyone! She turned one last September and on Sunday, we’re covering Chase’s, Kali’s older brother, birthday party! =)

Wedding: Jay & KC

Jay and KC’s civil wedding was very intimate. They celebrated their love with their families and friends. It wasn’t traditional, but it was just as beautiful. They are a testament that long distance relationship lasts. Love knows no distance. If it’s there, it will work.

Danny & Lita finally got their dream church wedding after twenty years of being together. What made it even more special is they were able to share this very special moment with their parents and daughter. It was a day full of emotions, endless thank-yous, and happiness. :)

Wedding: Kenneth & Chloe

It was 12.13.14 when Kenneth and Chloe tied the knot. It was a long day full of love, laughter and tears. It's always heartwarming to see the couple's families and closest friends working together - from preps, do-it-yourself props to the ceremony when Chloe's sister sang "Two Words" while she was walking down the isle - to make the wedding even more beautiful and special. It was such a heartfelt moment. It was also a challenging day for the suppliers and everyone who worked on their special day because of the unexpected turn of events, but because of their love that is so inspiring, we overcame each one of it and ended the day with big smiles on our faces. It was all worth it. We are so lucky to have witnessed their great love. They are, indeed, each other's answered prayer. :)

Christmas Wedding: Nikko & Amane

Nikko and Amane are not just any couple. I have been friends with Amane since elementary days. We've had our moments and our friendship was tested many times and I'm happy to say that we surpassed all those challenges and remained friends. That's why when she told me she was getting married, I was so happy for her. And there I was, capturing the moments of their short and sweet civil wedding on Christmas day. :)

Engagement: Chris & Joanne

The scorching heat of the sun definitely did not stop us from having fun! The energy of the whole team despite the killer weather was incredible and so were the lovely couple, Chris & Joanne. They were, indeed, a natural in front of the camera. It's like they have run through these poses and memorized everything before the shoot. But what made the photos look way lovelier is their love for each other. It was a tiring shoot but it was all worth it.

A Garden Wedding Editorial: Dano & Camae

I was invited by Sunday Morning to shoot a wedding editorial with/for them last December. The theme was garden wedding with a touch of plum since it's the color of the year for weddings for 2014. The set up was so pretty and the wedding suppliers who have worked hard to pull this editorial off are really, really talented.

And what's even more exciting was the surprise proposal of Dano to Camae at the end of the shoot. It was a heartwarming experience for all of us and I'm so happy to have witnessed such a beautiful moment. :)

Maternity: Yayo At 35 Weeks

Had a super quick maternity shoot with Yayo, one of my dearest friends, during her 35th week of awesome pregnancy! We were lucky the sun cooperated during that hour. It rained all day and it was really gloomy. We were able to pull off a very simple and natural fun shoot with friends.

Although I haven't experienced it myself, I'm pretty sure that pregnancy is a beautiful thing for a woman to experience. :)
