HAPPY (LATE) BIRTHDAY TO MY SILLY DHMIS OC HELMET!!

Now, I'd really want to talk about something.

October 2022 was when I showed the first drawing of Helmet, my dhmis oc, and the same way it turned one year old recently, my Tumblr account had also turned one year old some days (or weeks) ago. The first fandom I interacted with here was the dhmis fandom, dhmis was an hyperfixation of mine that is still kind of living rent free in my mind. The moment I started interacting with the fandom I felt like I was being welcomed with open arms, people made fanarts of my silly little Helmet and interacted with me, and I'm not lying when I say I finally felt like I was really part of a fandom, like people actually liked and enjoyed the stuff I did with Helmet, like I was finally part of something. Thanks to the fandom I met some of the best mutuals I could ask for that I still like to "talk" to them from time to time (I'm looking at you guys @brightlydim @reoltherabbit @softshell-enthusiast :3 ), I honestly couldn't be more grateful not only for the people I have interacted with while I was active in the fandom, but also for the amount of fun I've had in it. I'd seriously do anything to be able to go back to those days, I loved every second of the period where the fandom was active, and all I'm able to say is thanks to everyone who had made me live one of the bests times of my life, even if it all happened behind a screen, those days will always have a special place in both my heart and memory.

I FINALLY GREW A PAIR AND JOINED A LIVE HOSTED BY ONE OF MY FAVORITE DHMIS ARTISTS >:D

I didn't really talk with anyone (mostly just commented like 3 times), but I drew a doodle on Kleki and copy-pasted it on Magma, because I have NO idea how to control the line stabilizer- or if it even has one on Magma. But I had fun :D

Red guy:

“It’s your birthday…? Oh. Um….”

He bakes you a cake in your favorite color(s)!

It says “HAPpY BIRTHDAY Y/N!” (Yellow wrote it, he forgot the extra P so he had to squish it in there <3

It’s vanilla, he forgot to ask you your favorite flavor… haha

Doesn’t go all out for your birthday, just invites you over for cake.

Yellow guy:

Asks red to make you a cake (unless he already is)

Draws a picture for you!!

Wants to decorate the house, but someone took all the paper after he made your drawing??? (I wonder who…)

Duck guy:

complains the whole time

“well why do they get to have a birthday party? I never got one!”

“You don’t even know your birthday!”

“You don’t either!”

“You’re right…”

He’s the one that stole the paper and made the decorations, much to red guy’s distress (he has to put them up… duct tape + yarn hair…. 😬😬)

He spends all day working on the decorations, and then doesn’t want to take them down haha

“It’s not y/n’s birthday anymore…”

“Yeah so? I worked really hard on- I mean. They look too good to take down 😒”

All in all you have a nice, uninterrupted birthday!!
