Okay so. I started this in October with the intent to use it as a lil style warm-up for a sequel to this piece buuuut I ended up really liking it so I decided to slap together a background and finally post it.

I'll admit that while I'm not terribly active within GHOST's fandom these days, I still have a soft spot for their stuff since their art used to inspire me so much creatively when I was really getting serious about my own. This song and character in particular made a LOT of appearances in my sketchbooks and old art, most of which is lost to time...

BUT! I do still have the last drawing I made of this character in 2018 (which I very loosely based parts of this on during the clean-up phase), so I've put it below the cut for comparison purposes :]

If I did this again I would do it in a way that reflected my own art style a bit more since I heavily referenced the original song for this, but that would’ve taken way too long bc 1. That would include shading it and stuff (+ knowing me I would probably try my hand at in-between frames) and 2. I have other drawings to finish 💀

(Yes I am procrastinating my teto drawing, which in itself is me procrastinating a yume 2kki drawing that has taken me 25 hours so far, if you’re in the yno server you might know what drawing I’m talking about)
