For Justice Jay Ackles, I wish a very happy birthday on what is her 11th birthday.

Affectionately called JJ by her father, she also has the nickname "Birdie" or "J-Bird". She is, in fact, the reason he has the bird tattoo on his left shoulder. He got it in honor of his daughter; eventually he would several others in honor of his other children, Zeppelin and Arrow.

The tattoo for Justice is a special bird. What you see above is a Swallow Bird. This is a popular tattoo amongst sailors and it has a lot of meanings.

When sailors first started having swallow birds tattooed on their bodies, the meaning was how many miles a sailor had travelled and how experienced they were. With time, because of the evident analogy, it became a symbol of freedom, but it also reflected the sailor's hope of coming home safely.  Swallows return home every year, no matter where they are.

The swallow on Jensen’s shoulder is blindfolded, like the symbol for Justice.

Justice Jay is also the reason Jensen joined Instagram in the first place--and was the very first photo, him and her cuddling on the sofa.

And this video is the one that melted hearts and showed just how much Jensen loves his daughter.
