I’ve actually talked about Azul and Riddle in this reply + wrote some headcanons about these two. So you can check them out if you haven’t!

Floyd/Deuce is intriguing; we’ve watched Floyd’s birthday vignette the other day, and these two were surprisingly fun together. Deuce and the Octavinelle boys are a good combo in general, because of how naive and earnest he is, it’s like he’s asking to be taken advantage of. And in Floyd’s vignette, we can see how much fun Floyd’s having teasing poor Deuce for giving him a present that is so easy to abuse…

I feel like Deuce likes Floyd, because he is a senpai, and is cool and makes fun of Ace sometimes (which automatically makes him the best person ever), and hanging out with him would be fun. And Floyd is probably pleasantly surprised and intrigued by Deuce, because at first he was sure that he would be much more boring… But there is something in him, so he’ll give him a chance.

I want them to have a lot of magical wheel riding dates. And I want Floyd to be a bad influence on this good boy lol

Right now we’re just winking at them, but maybe if we give them more thought sometime… the potential is clearly there.

The prefect of Ramshackle Dorm and an often nonconfrontational person, Yuu will stay on the sidelines not because he wants to but because he doesn't know how to handle NRC's aggressive tendencies. He turns to fashion and cosplay as a source of comfort and strength, often dressing in wild and flashy colors so he can feel more comfortable saying what's on his mind.

Once comfortable with their surroundings, Yuu will become more outspoken. Cosplayer first, gamer second, and human being third, Yuu's bright personality eventually outshines their shyness and many find them easy to befriend. While incredibly homesick, Yuu enjoys learning about their new home and falling into rabbit holes of random trivia such as the history of blot.

Ace Trappola ❤ and Deuce Spade ♠️

Affectionately known as the dumbass trio, these two are Yuu's first real friendships in NRC. Once he gets more comfortable with them they learn all share the same brain cell and become inseparable. While Yuu appreciates Deuce's slightly more laid back attitude, he would willingly get into a fistfight for both of them. Races to the cafeteria and bets that result in the loser paying for lunch are common. Because of how quickly everyone bonded, they shortly get into a queer platonic relationship once they learn the term and when ADeuce become a couple, Yuu never feels like a third wheel. He'll often tease the two of them for how long it took for them to get together.

Leona Kingscholar🦁 and Jack Howl 🐺

Shortly after Leona's overblot, Yuu corners him the garden and they end up having a long talk/fight where they end up bonding over similarities in their pasts. Yuu's nickname gets upgraded to omnivore and even though Leona still acts like his grouchy self, others will notice if they pay attention that he seems less aggravated around Yuu. Jack sticks around Yuu almost like a guard dog when ADeuce isn't around for whatever reason (mostly detentions) and his softer side shines around the prefect. They'll get excited over each other's interests even if they don't fully understand them and be each other's hype man. When Jack and Leona start pining for each other, Yuu is stuck listening to/teasing both of them until he gets them into a situation where they can confess. Everyone's slightly embarrassed by the memory.

Floyd and Jade Leech 💙

Oooooh boy, Yuu's taste in men is dangerous for his wellbeing. Floyd's appearance and height caught his attention first before he fell for his mood swings and love for squeezing others. Yuu's crush on him stays a crush until they start seeing each other more often as Yuu tries to save the dumbass trio from the contract they made with Azul. His persistence and bolder side peeking through his usual shyness catches Floyd's attention along with the little plastic rocks Yuu sometimes puts on his face. It takes some time to navigate their sometimes clashing personalities, but with effort and some prodding by Jade, they find themselves becoming a couple. Jade is simply happy to his brother happy and it's certainly nice that Floyd is easier to work with after spending time with Yuu but is pleasantly surprised whenever Yuu asks to go on a mountain excursion with him despite his distaste for long nature walks.

Azul Ashengrotto🐙 and Idia Shroud🔥

As members of the Board Game Club, Yuu hangs out with these two fairly regularly. While most of their conversations are often game related, they all have some form of respect for one another. Azul enjoys Yuu's attempts to make sure he doesn't see everything as a transaction, the prefect often pretending they just happened to stumble upon Azul and that's the only reason they offered. Azul sees through the lies, but allows himself to enjoy the time and items he receives. Idia and Yuu hang out more online, helping each other in battles and speaking purely in gamer lingo. The few times they do meet irl, they often sit next to each other and play games. Sometimes you just need a good gaming partner that'll listen to your inane rants.

Kalim Al-Aism 💛

Everyone in Scarabia are basically Yuu's besties. Since their dorm is somewhat related to some of Yuu's culture (they're Guyanese-Japanese) Yuu will often visit or talk to dorm members to learn more about the variations in their cultures. Kalim adores having Yuu over and treats them as if they're part of the dorm. He loves seeing whatever outfits Yuu creates and insists on paying for custom designs (often giving much more than the low prices Yuu sets). It's hard to tell whether Yuu will act as the voice of reason or go along with Kalim's antics, but there's always an adventure to be had when both of them are around.

Mister S 💀 and Divius Crewel 🐩

They accidentally now share joint custody of Yuu. Unexpected and not entirely welcome (at least in Crewel's case) but they take their respective roles as parental figures fairly well. Sam lets Yuu work part-time in his shop, allowing them to wear whatever outfits they please as their "work outfit" and using the job as an excuse to conveniently pull them out of gym class. He lets them use any good fabric they find lying around and is always excited to share any non cursed objects for a discounted price! (He once found a bunch of human teeth in the back room and was pleasantly surprised to see Yuu enter the shop wearing them like earrings). With Sam acting as the fun uncle, Crewel takes the role of a strict parent. He doesn't allow himself to act soft for one particular student, but if they come to him after school in need of assistance, he'll take time to help them. With his own eye for fashion, he gives Yuu tips on how to improve their work and will gladly give them hand me downs that are somehow still in pristine condition. (He does not feel his eyes water when Yuu accidentally call him dad).

Trivia

💖 The freckles stay on during cosplay. They rarely put makeup over them, often incorporating them into the cosplay. They'll keep their glasses if they can't get color contacts with their prescription

💖 They have an unofficial "club" that's really them and the students who've overblotted talking about their experiences, usually in the Mostro Lounge or Ramshackle.

💖 Yuu has a possum friend that lives outside Ramshackle called Dirty Boy. Grim is not jealous that most of the scraps go to Dirty Boy instead of him.

💖 With Cater's persistence, they make a Magicam account for their cosplay and outfits and it blows up quicker than they expected. Yuu gets daily commissions from students in various dorms

💖 They love any kind of activity that involves hands because they don't know what to do with them when they're idle. Many of their hobbies involve it (gaming, sewing, even dancing)

Trey Clover Inspired Heartslabyul Birthday Headcanon!

I forgot to post this....whoops?

Funny story....I was pulling for Azul's SSR card and I went all the way to 100! And I got 1 SSR Dorm Outfit Trey! And 0 SSR Beanfest Azul! Yay-

Anyways....I was reading Trey's Dorm Outfit Vignette and I saw that a lot of people like made requests for Trey as soon as they heard there might be an opportunity. It got me thinking (Which is never a good thing mind you.) Thinking of a birthday headcanon for Heartslabyul!

Trey will make a persons favorite food/dessert on their birthday.

I know it sounds simple and probably a given but it sounds cute and I just love it!

Riddle - Strawberry Tart with extra Strawberries (Cause Trey is sweet like that and Riddle definitely has his own personal strawberry garden in the school greenhouse. You can't change my mind! If Jade can grow his lovely, weird, and interesting mushroom in that greenhouse then Riddle can grow starwberries. Riddle probably does (Who are we kidding- we already practically know he does) a little of everything so why not gardening too!)

Cater - He probably gets a savory food.. like a quiche! (As mentioned in the Redo Unbirthday Party, Cater doesn't like Sweets and Trey said he would make one for him at the next unbirthday party...so why not for his birthday too!)

Ace - Cherry Tart. Ace gets a Cherry Tart! (Ace has already mentioned that he loves Cherries and that Cherry Tarts are his favorite! Trey probably keeps a list and remembers when people make requests or mention their favorite foods for their birthdays...again because Trey is a sweet older brother figure/person like that.)

On a separate note....

If Ace x Riddle isn't popular we need to give them a cute ship name. And what better way to start off then with their mutual love of a kind of tart! Which is how my whole StrawcherryTartShipping/StrawberryCherryTartShipping propaganda started. I still haven't come up with a decent one....but I'll find a cute one. It's not a popular ship and it's not the biggest ship...who am I kidding it's overlooked entirely. At first glance they are just two idiots but them as well as the ship grows on you :) For newcomers to this ship. I recommend reading Ace's P.E outfit vignette ❤

I'm just imagining Trey has a list of everyone in Heartslabyuls favorite foods, desserts, and or pastries. Although....because of Riddle since no one in Heartslabyul drops out or gets held back Trey's list probably covers his room and goes out the window- (Have you all seen what those NRC dorms look like on the outside.)

Back to the original focus of this post-

Deuce - Deuce is like the single most wholesome child ever. 🥺🤧💙🖤 (He's literally someone who canonically used to beat people up and actually...still probably does? Do I care? No. ❤) In Trey's Vignette I believe he asks for a Eggy Chiffon Cake (Granted he does like anything with eggs so I guess that makes sense! Sounds good too 😯) and of course ask and you shall recieve my child.

At this point Trey himself will become a fairytale story. I can see it now "The Baker Man...Student...Person!" He brings you your favorite desserts in your dreams and is basically a modern cavity creator. But sweets make you (most of you probably?) and me happy and most importantly Riddle happy. So who cares! ...I do!(I need help.)
