Over the past few years there has been a growing trend on the Hamptons style home. As I meander through the streets of our suburb, Burleigh Heads, I tend to find at least a home or 2 in each street which has a real Hampton's feel to it. I am personally a fan of this style when done well, and I can openly say that our own family home certainly reflects elements of a Hamptons home, with its own little quirky twists of course!! So what are some of the key features to use when trying to emulate a Hampton's style home you might ask? White window trims & doors, timber cladding, shingle roof (in dark colour), high ceilings throughout and shaker style cabinetry (Hampton's profile doors) are just some of the key elements that can transform an ordinary home into a Hampton's one. One of our current projects in Burleigh is a large scale Hampton's renovation and it has been the talk of the street ever since we started construction. The timber cladding, high raked ceilings and shaker style cabinetry are the real heroes of the home. As shown in our progress pics, you can see that the home is certainly starting to take shape & is going to be absolutely stunning when completed. Have a great month! The Davey Constructions Team 😊

It has been another busy month for the Davey Constructions team with 3 projects now on the go. Our latest project is a new luxury build Broadbeach Waters. It has just been demolished, and the slab is set to be poured within a few weeks. This modern home, as shown in the 3d render above has been designed by Jayson Pate, who is a highly esteemed architect on the Gold Coast. We are very excited to be a part of this project and look forward to seeing it evolve over the coming months.
Our Hamptons renovation in Burleigh Heads is well underway now. Windows, doors & roof have been installed, house is nearly wrapped and ready for external cladding. As shown in the picture above, there are a number of spaces in the home that have a high pitched roof with vj panelling which really makes them an architectural feature. The high pitch also helps to create a greater sense of space & light throughout.
The Miami Duplex project is really only a matter of weeks before practical completion. Tiling is taking place in all the wet areas throughout both duplexes, and cabinetry install will be complete by early this month. Internal painting, flooring install, pool finish & landscaping are all part of the finishing touches which are scheduled for the later end of this month. This project has taken us no time at all, we demolished the existing home at the end of January and aiming to have our lovely clients settled in by early July. What an exciting time it has been!
Some other exciting news for our Company…. we have just set up our very own blog page on our website: www.daveyconstructions.com Here people will be able to have access to our monthly newsletter and also other interesting blogs posted on our social media pages.
Wishing you a fantastic month,
The Davey Constructions Team
