He can’t look you in the eye, he stares at your cheeks, eyebrows, nose: anything but making eye contact. His voice also changes pitch. AKA he’s . fucking horrible at it.

Nervous Tics

He pulls at his hair and picks at his skin!! (Like me) he has Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors. His lips are his main focus, but as a gardener, he gets a lot of scrapes and scabs.

He runs his hands over his skin and through his hair a lot!

      Your hair is all out of place, is the excuse that Noire comes up with when Hanzo comes out of the shower and back into their temporary quarters in comfortable clothes and his hair down- and in response Hanzo only levels her with a rather wary and disbelieving look. 

      But now he finds himself on the couch, damp hair level with his jawline, a more than huffy expression on his face as he feels delicate fingers smooth down the back of his head. Admittedly, he does feel the tug of a knot that he must have missed, but that is quickly worked free, and the fingers pull through his hair with no effort the second time.

       It’s… embarrassing is not the correct word, but it’s the one that nearly makes it to Hanzo’s tongue anyways, as Noire works him over. It’s a touch that Hanzo can’t really place the last time he’s received- gentleness is not something the archer is given or gives often. It’s unusual, almost alien, let alone that it was coming from Noire- the two more prone to small bits of bickering and casual distance (mostly at Hanzo’s insistence) than anything else.

       It’s nice. 

       So Hanzo only lets it continue for a few small moments, when the tangles are cleared and the archer is very sure it’s just an excuse now, before he reaches his hand up to circle around Noire’s wrist, pulling it away. 

      When he speaks, Hanzo is already moving to pull his hair back up, “That is more than enough. I can tend to myself.” There is little real bite to his tone.

Hanzod VA is a gay with a husband, and apparently Matthew Mercer likes McHanzo so it gives me SO MUCH FALSE HOPE. Like i would like to think Hanzos VA (Paul) would like to spread positive LGBT feels even if it meant making the Cowboy and Archer gay. Like, my dudes. I can make a essay on why it can be canon and why it cant be, like, my dudes. Also hell yes college AUs my dude. Confused hormonal teenagers falling inlove while having to worry about education. The BEST AU ever.

i’ve read about hanzo’s va, i think he’d not mind either way but oooboy Matthew Mercer damn son he has a head canon even that if they were to be living together they’d argue over the decor of the house XD (its in a pod cast that sal found idk it honestly ^^; )then you just have the ovw team as a whole, who has on record stated that tracer is not the first and only gay member, others are too. 

i’ll admit i have a ton of hope for this, either way i feel like they will in due time need to give an answer, people will be to loud about it if they don’t. The game designer part of me understands it could take a while, in a story and world where they are still crafting and molding it i can understand and easily see it taking a bit if they want to make it canon. it’ll be interesting to see what they will do, with one VA who is gay and would probably not mind, the other VA who is open to open that he find it amusing, and likes to see the ship. As a creator having 2 VAs who most likely wouldn’t mind/ might even support it would be a huge help too.

when it not midnight i might make a long post with a cut about my feelings more in depth because i easily could ; v ; ||| from designs, to the VAs, to the support over all, to just them as characters. I can see so much good in this ship, its one of those rare truly helpful and healing couples in fiction. In a world where many unhealthy relations are openly shown, and sometimes even praised, this is a good example of growth (mental illness, and as a whole the character), support, and truly a loving relationship. It pure.

14. Who is their favourite and most trusted adviser?

Leliana!! 

Azh isn’t a show-y person and doesn’t like to shove around political power or use large shows of force, so he went to Leliana a lot for more discreet ways to handle things.

That and when he had questions about the Chantry’s religion, he liked to talk to her about it because she wasn’t condescending.

22. What is their biggest regret?

His clan’s death – that he acted without thinking and that his entire family suffered the consequences. He’s happy and feels lucky his twin sister survived, but little else could make him feel even remotely less guilty over it. He uses it as a learning experience, but it also makes him overthink a lot of his choices as the Inquisitor.

26. What makes them trust someone?

Genuine empathy for others. His marker for someone trustworthy is showing of emotion in the plight of others. He’s an empathetic person, and at any chance to help someone, he will… so seeing others do the same usually nets them Approval in his book.

That, and he generally trusts Dalish elves as a rule as a former First of his clan.

Azh and Cullen for the longest time communicated in small gestures: getting one another a drink or some food after a long day, taking time to see each other in their respective places (the office, the library). Post DA:I they continued the tradition of checking in on the other, taking a break from the day to enjoy a drink or a meal together, maybe play a game of something before returning to whatever they were doing. Azh likes to get him flowers to keep in a vase on his desk or in their room. Cullen likes to cook for them both.

It’s been too long since I’ve heard your voice. I’d love to hear the stories you’d tell me as we walk the countryside once more, but I know we have our own paths to walk right now. Still, I miss you.

I thought I’d seen it all with Ferelden! I’m in Orlais right now. I’m lucky they speak the common tongue or I think I’d be more lost than Alistair was with that woman in the Blooming Rose. I haven’t had much luck so far, but I was able to gather some information for you. I attached it to this letter, I hope it’s still there when this reaches you. 

Val Royeaux was... beautiful. To a point. I forget, had you’d been there? It seems nice, very pretty, but I saw the Circle and the Alienage. It made me sad, and I hate to say I was happy to move on. 

I hope you’re safe where you are while reading this. I love you, my heart. I feel like a bowstring pulled taut without here you here at my side, and me at yours. Are you sure you don’t need any help?

Different indeed! But it’s not unwelcome. 

Trust me when I say I would prefer to be at your side. Falling asleep without you at my side is admittedly more difficult than I would like to admit. Soon, our paths will cross once more, and maybe we can act on those promises from a few letters ago, no? I miss your voice as well, my sweet, and long to be in each others’ arms. 

I am glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself. Though not too much without me, I hope? Thank you for the reminder that our dear friend is still desperately in need of some lessons.
