BUT i wrote a drabble based on @nikkzships​’s first fluster ask that inspired everybody ELSE to go all in on proposals and marriage

Ever since they started training together, and gaining more of a fondness for each other, Goku found himself looking at Hannah more and more. And ever since his old friend Chi Chi talked about marriage way back when, he found himself more curious about it. 

Apparently you wore fancy clothes, said things you really liked about each other, put some shiny rings on each other, and, of course most appealing to him, ate lots of yummy food afterwards to celebrate. Sounded good to him, and with Chi Chi seeming so eager to do it as well, he wondered about Hannah’s feelings on it. She’d probably look pretty good in one of those long white dresses!

He apparently stared a little too long thinking about what she’d look like, because she actually caught him and questioned it.

“You look like you’re thinking pretty hard, Goku. What’s up?”

Putting a thoughtful hand to his chin, he immediately spoke his mind. “I was just wondering what our wedding would look like.”

Hannah straightened a little in surprise, face reddening. “E-Eh?? Wedding?? Goku you haven’t even proposed, never mind a wedding!”

“Oh, sorry!” Goku rubbed the back of his neck. “How do I do that, then?”

“W-well… It’s more so wait for the right moment until you feel like you really want to, then you get rings and ask… someone, while presenting the ring you want to give them.”

“Ohh, okay! Hey, what do the rings mean anyway?” She seemed pretty knowledgeable, so he figured he’d ask further questions. If he ever went through with this marriage stuff with Hannah, he’d want to do it right.

Hannah thought for a moment. “I’ve heard that they’re supposed to mean love forever, since the rings are a circle, and circles go on forever…”

Goku smiled widely. “Ah, that does make sense then!”

She smiled slightly back, though her cheeks turned a bit warm again as she looked down at the floor. “Goku, are you really thinking about… marrying me?”

“Yeah, why not? I really like you! This seems like a pretty big important thing though, so I’ll wait and make sure to do it right!”

Hannah smiled a bit more at that, loving his genuine and determined tone. She never really thought of herself as the marrying type, and hadn’t put a lot of thought into it before now. But with Goku… she supposed that didn’t sound half bad. “Thank you, Goku. I… really like you too.”

Hearing her return his sentiments made him blush a bit himself. However, while on the topic, he still had a few more questions. “Say, can I wear white like you would? I think black tuxedos look too much like penguins, and I don’t wanna look silly like that.”

“Huh? ...I guess I don’t see why not…!”

Thankfully, Goku learned a lot more that day about what marriage and brides were, and they were definitely not something to eat.
