Pretty Little Liars Fan Cast

I just finished reading all the Pretty Little Liars books a month or two ago (I finished watching the TV show before I started reading the books), and I had no idea that literally no one in the show looks like how they do in the books, like, not even close. Caleb doesn’t even exist in the books!! So I decided to make a fan cast (or a ‘what the people from the PLL books would look like in real life, since none of these people are actors). If you guys want me to do another one of these, I’ll do other characters in the books that had main parts like Noel, Mike, Melissa, Ian, Wren, etc.. I’ll also do more characters like Ezra, Toby, Jenna, Lucas, and others that had bigger parts in the tv show. I hope I got all my facts right too, because I sometimes get little things from the books mixed up with stuff from the TV show, so yeah.

I wanted to tack this on the end here too, and say that I really did love the TV show, and thought the people that played the characters were really good (unlike say the twilight movies, which were just all around bad). I just think of the TV show and the books as two separate things, and wanted to show what the book characters might look like. So yeah. That’s all, enjoy!

Mona: Bridget Malcolm

Ah, Mona. I actually really liked Janel Parrish as Mona in the tv show, but in the books she’s described as a petite blonde with blue eyes. This girl looks really similar to how I pictured her.

Hanna: Maggie Lindemann

Hanna is described as having dark reddish brown hair and brown eyes in the books. She’s also queen bee of Rosewood Day, so I wanted to find someone that could be a mean popular high school girl. I thought Maggie Lindemann fit the part.

Spencer: Emma DeLury

I loved Troian Bellasario in the tv show too, I thought she played Spencer really well. Spencer in the books had long blonde hair and green eyes, which makes more sense when you find out she’s sister’s with Alison and Courtney who are both blonde too, opposed to Troian who’s Greek with olive skin and dark brown hair being sisters with blonde blue-eyed Sasha Pieterse in the show. I also wanted to find a girl that looked like an actual teenager since none of the girls in the tv show do, and Emma DeLury fit the criteria, and she looks pretty close to how I pictured Spencer.

Aria: Michele Alvesc

I don’t think I could ever find someone that looked exactly like how I pictured Aria, because I had a really clear picture of her in my head. This girl has the ice blue eyes, pale skin, and dark hair but she’s not as model-esque and high fashion as I imagined Aria. She’s also a little too old to be a high school student. I still thought she was pretty good though, better than Lucy Hale who I thought looked more like Hanna than anyone else.

Emily: Daria Milky

This girl is perfect for Emily! I loved Emily in the books because she’s so cute and nice, which I feel like they tried to do with Shay Mitchell, but it didn’t translate well in the show. Also Emily is a pale skinned strawberry blonde in the books, so I thought this girl was great as her.

Alison/Courtney: Loren Gray

I also loved Sasha Pieterse as Alison! She was so good at being so mean and awful, and had the perfect heart shaped face and blonde hair, and I think this girl actually looks very similar to her. Sasha wasn’t quite how I imagined Alison though. When I came across this girl however, I was shocked because she is exactly how I pictured Alison/Courtney. Especially the picture where Loren Gray has her hair in ponytail. She looks just like how I pictured “Courtney” when the girls meet her for the first time at the press conference in front of the DiLaurentis’s house, and they say her hair is in a pony tail and she looks like a french model.

And that’s it! I hope you guys liked it, and I’d love to do more of the characters, especially ones that were big in the show, but not quite as big in the books like Ezra and Toby. I’d love to hear what you guys thought of this too, and if you know of people that you think are better for the parts (because none of my fan casts are anything close to perfect). So if you know of other people message me or something cause I’d love to see who you pictured as the characters! :)
