I have recently started going into reading thrillers blind or only knowing the bare minimum, and I highly recommend reading this one that way. I loved the cast of interesting female characters, the crazy twists, the plot for revenge, and the ending was amazing! Just go in knowing that what you think you know, you don’t and be ready to be shocked.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

These thirteen stories by various authors, some with characters from existing series cover everything from mystery/thriller to sci-fi/fantasy. For example: ⁣ We have a serial killer on death row and a copy cat carrying on his crimes. Can the local police and the FBI agent who helped convict him find out who he has carrying on his crimes before he’s executed and save the newest victim? (12:01 AM) ⁣ We have a man who’s absolutely fed up with people on cell phones, but ones he take it too far? (Cell Phone Intolerant) ⁣ We follow a story about a newsroom where a caller threatens to go on a shooting spree (Night Shift) ⁣ While I did not know all of the authors who had stories in this book I was glad to see some authors I read regularly (@hankpryan , Heather Graham and of course editor Jeffrey Deaver) and now I have new authors to look into. There is something in these stories for everyone since they cover a wide variety under the “suspense” genre. While I would not call any of the stories scary, there were several that gave me a definite creep vibe. ⁣ I was very excited when I was invited to review this book! This was a fun anthology and one I recommend. With the stories ranging from 3 to 5 stars, I give the book itself an overall 4 of 5 stars and thank @blackthorntours and @suspensemag for the review copy of this book. There are quite a few characters in this story and multiple POV. While most of the story is told from the view of Ellie - an investigative reporter trying to write a story on Pharminex, a large pharmaceutical company who has just released a “miracle fertility drug’ with a major side effect, we also meet Nora, a rep for Pharminex, Brooke - the 15 year old daughter of the family behind Pharminex, Travis - Brooke’s brother, and Lacey - Travis’ future wife. None of these characters are reliable, and he lies stack upon each other until you will truly be wondering what the real story is. ⁣ While the multiple points of view can be somewhat confusing and hard to follow, the book comes together by the end and is worth the read.
