Oh fOR REAL!There isn't enough content of him being trans, (isn't enough content of any Borderlands character being trans!!) and I just dont get why people wouldn't be all over it!! Anovis wrung the coat he’d been given in his hands as he stood outside the not-quite-finished home Rehvas had helped him build, guilt beginning to grow a cold mass in his stomach. He had not expected to be gone so long, but after nearly dying of his injuries in Winterhold and reuniting with his great-grandfather, the mer who had taught him everything he knew about magic, his return had been delayed for five days. Rehvas was surely in a state after the long silence. But now, hopefully, Anovis would return to a nearly empty house; as helpful as it had been for the young bard to enlist the help of his many friends, the thief had never enjoyed being the center of attention and preferred the company of himself, his son, and his dog. 

Quickly, casting a sheepish glance to the horse munching on the foliage in the front yard-- undoubtedly belonging to one of Rehvas’s friends, ‘Halley’, if he remembered correctly-- Anovis caught his reflection in the glass of the windows, and marveled at how it had changed: after the restoration spell, taught to him by Revus himself, Anovis almost felt as though he had been given back the thirty years spent languishing on Solstheim. Sure, he had still not regained the muscle or weight he had before, but his face looked less care-worn and he stood a bit straighter. 

The fire glowed inside the small house, partially excavated from the small outcroppings surrounding Lake Honrich. With a deep breath, he opened the door and stepped into the warmth. It felt good to be home.

Haleth hadn’t meant to make Rehvas stay away from Riften so long, but after weeks of being bothered about all things dragon, she’d finally relented and taken him to an old dragon’s nest in the foothills of the Jerall Mountains-- unfortunately one that had been recently populated, at least since the last time she’d passed it. 

As tired as she was from fighting the dragon, it was good to finally prove that all this Dragonborn business wasn’t just ‘blowing smoke’. No. It was blowing fire, and though she was pretty sure the bard hadn’t been hurt, she bore the scorch marks to prove it.

The Dovahkiin watched the small campfire from her seat beside Rehvas, who had seemingly taken to writing down something-- maybe lyrics to a song, or a letter to his dad? She shifted closer to him, then let her head fall gently to his stomach before cuddling into her new, warm pillow.
