Dalamus' Spells
While Dalamus is not a mage, he has a select few magic spells he can cast. All are evocation spells which require concentration.
Dancing Lights
Dalamus' incantation for Dancing Lights is "Naut'kyn l'isto," Drowic for "Blind the night." Since Dalamus has Darkvision, needing extra light is rare, and because of his light sensitivity, the dim light of Dancing Lights is actually quite bright for him. For this reason, the spell is more often used as either a distraction or to blind others with light-sensitive eyes, such as when he temporarily blinded a Quaggoth while escaping the Underdark. As he becomes closer to his companions, he will use it to provide light for them when necessary.
For the somatic component, Dalamus makes a hand sign which conveys light being "contained" within a sphere, as orbs are his preferred shape to use. The hand is held in front of and facing away from the caster, all four fingertips touching the tip of the thumb. The fingers then open quickly to show a splayed hand, palm facing away from the caster. Finally, the hand rotates in a circular motion until the palm is facing up, hand splayed as if presenting an object.
The fingers opening from one point represent a flash of light being brought into existence, while the rotation of the hand conveys the orb shape they are to inhabit. Viewed in a drow's infravision, a vague orb of warmth, or "light", is quite literally created in the air by the hand movement, though dissipates quickly.
Faerie Fire
Dalamus' incantation for Faerie Fire is "Shunveil l'velkyn," Drowic for "Reveal the hidden." As expected, it is typically used to reveal hidden or invisible enemies (or objects), causing them to shed light in the form of harmless flame encompassing them. Green or violet are typically his colors of choice.
He has another incantation he uses when focusing on a single target. "Ssussun," meaning "Light" in Drowic, is used when he concentrates on a single individual person or object to illuminate (this requires already seeing the person/object and/or knowing their position), such as when he used the spell on Astarion to make him briefly think the sun had set him alight.
Faerie Fire does not have a somatic component, but Dalamus may snap his fingers when casting. It has no effect on the spell, it is simply theatrics.
Darkness
Dalamus' incantation for Darkness is "Oloth tu'kath," Drowic for "Darkness falls." Used to blind or otherwise obscure vision, or better hide in places which are already dark, although at the cost of one's sight if within the spell's effect. Possibly useful for temporarily blocking sunlight since non-magical light cannot illuminate or penetrate it, but he has never tried using it for that purpose.
There is no somatic component.

Can I have some "what do i do with this?" for WIP Wednesday, please? ❤
You may! Here goes:
[Follows directly from the last segment]
-
Revali flexes the tip of his wing, glancing down at it with a frustrated huff, and Link is struck by a flash of insight: Revali's hands, such as they are, are much too big and awkwardly proportioned for the task of making handsigns. Given the way he's scowling, isn't it possible that he tried to learn it anyway? If that's the case, then maybe Link could try something else.  Daring to take that risk, and praying that he isn’t making a gross miscalculation, Link lifts his hands and starts to spell it out by character: T-H-A-N-K-Y-

Y/N: “Hey Daryl what are those hand signs you throw out while riding your bike?”
Daryl: “Oh it’s just something I do out of habit. Before the world went to shit I used to ride with a lot of bikers and we would communicate through signs.”
Y/N: “That sounds cool! Show me some?”
Daryl: *shrugs* “I guess. The easiest would be to signal for a cop nearby. All you do is pat your head a few times.”
Y/N: *nods before noticing Rick walking passed* Daryl *Starts to do the cop signal*
Daryl: *Dies of laughter*

[*flashback* During an infiltration training exercise at the Shin'ō Academy…]
Kira: *mouthing something while making hand signals*
Renji, absolutely not getting it: What? What is that?
Kira, whispering: You go right and cover me.
Renji: Well, you could've just said that.
