Time to transform!

I went to a designer/handmade fair together with some friends this spring. There I found wonderful magnets at one booth and had to have this "castle in the sky" design, because it looks a) very beautiful and b) reminded me of dreams I used to have a lot as a child.

I knew immediately I wanted the magnet to be a brooch. Luckily there was only a small magnet clued to the back of the wooden design. It was easy to pry that off and just glue a brooch backing on instead. The brooch was meant to be paired with this dress I made previously! The dress bodice has flying ships and clouds and flowers and stuff, so it really fits with the theme of the new brooch ^-^

The necklace is also a previous DIY, it's some pretty fabric glued to a pendant backing with a glass cabochon on top to cover & enhance it.

Part 3 of completing projects!

Do I want better frames? Absolutely, but the point is to use what I already have. So these will do for now lol

It felt good getting a project completed!

Got my unfinished projects “bin” on display to help me process what needs to be worked!

Professor Kwon is also a WIP, but I wanted him on the wall. Pretty sure I will never find the fabric I want for the pocket square so he may remain unfinished.

Also peep my completed project wall/fan art wall. It’s a combo of things I have made, purchased from artists, or simple paint by number/craft kits.

I scribbled out one because it was a project done of a now controversial author’s piece… And although I do not plan to trash it as it is already made…. I will not support via posting about it.

So onto the next project to complete!
