Why Is It Hard To Find A Best Doctor In The Canada?

Dr. Handa is a family doctor in Canada who has been rehearsing for north of 15 years. He focuses on managing chronic diseases and providing preventative care. Sunny Handa Md serves on the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Family Physicians and is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Toronto.

According to CIHI data, the primary reason why it is difficult to locate a doctor in Canada is that physicians are retiring at a rate that is faster than it is possible to replace them. About 40% of physicians over the age of 55 and more than half are over 50 years old.
