Gacha Gacha Crate March 21

Yesterday this showed up on my doorstep, so I figured while waiting for Sakuraco I may as well work on this.

Meanwhile, I got a whole new bed frame the other day and this one is so cute! It comes to with shelves beneath it, and the headboard has shelving too. My kitties seem to really like laying around it. 

Also, one of my feet have began the peeling process from the pack I got in the NMNL box! Just a little, but it’s progress.

Sumikko Gurashi Strawberry Stamp

Our first item is this adorable figurine that doubles as a stamp. It features the Sumikko donning strawberry hats, with a stamp in the base featuring them doing various strawberry activities.

Hanako-kun Narabundesu

This is a fun little figurine from a manga series I'm unfamiliar with known as “Toilet Bound Hanako-kun“; which is actually about a girl dealing with various supernatural elements, like ghosts.

I feel like I’ve seen this guy before, and maybe heard of the series name... but that’s about all I know. The figure seems to be really nicely made though, it’s kind of cute outside of this image I took <_<

Steam Bun Shiba

Our next cute figurine is this plump, bun-like shiba! There are 6 possible variations, three resembling a normal dog, 1 with a steam symbol on it, and 2 that have a clearish, marble-y kind of texture like the one I got.

Mini Shodo Set

Our next item is this really cute miniature set perfect for re-ment and doll photography x3 Shodo is Japanese Calligraphy, performed with various strokes using an ink-dipped brush. There are three known styles of Shodo when known as Kaisho (Square, strokes drawn precisely in printed manner), Gyousho (Semi Cursive, fast and loosely written), and Sousho (Cursive, fluid bent strokes).

What makes this set extra-fun is that the little brush we got actually works! I’m not sure if you can tell in the picture, but there are real bristles on the end :3 isn’t that precious~?

Pokemon Stretching Figure

We get another figure, this one based around various Pokemon doing their stretches. Maybe morning calisthenics?

I’ve never been a fan of Wobbuffet, but at the same... it sorta has a little bit of charm to it I suppose. It’s more of a pain if anything, but Wynaut’s are pretty cute.

Sanrio Jewelry Case

Our last item may seem familiar to you, because in the January box we got a Pokemon Jewelry Case. This one is nearly the same color, and it features a different shape but it works the same way.

Besides PomPomPudding, we could also get Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and My Melody. I would have preferred one of the others because I’m not a fan of this color, but he still looks really cute!

As of late, I wasn’t really including this with these GGC reviews. But I kind of have some opinions that I felt like expressing...

Basically, after how much fun the Feb box was, this one was pretty bland. It featured a lot of cute figurines, yes, and they seem to be well made, sure. But they don’t really do anything, and with how many unique gacha Japan has, this month’s box felt kinda boring.

I really wish they would try a themed box, maybe something featuring flowery gacha for Spring? Maybe a specific color, or animal, or gimmick, like squishies.
