Good Partner Eunkyung x Yuri: Opposite Attract

Eunkyung and Yuri described as divorce lawyer who have very opposite personality and method, but yet compliment each other and have similar principal.

Like Yin and Yang.

This got emphasis in their visual design too both Eunkyung and Yuri oftenly wear black because it's their uniform, but in some scenes, for example like in title drop scene:

Yuri wear White and Eunkyung wear Black.

Like saying how they are contrast to each other, but can be Great Partner to each other.

Another important detail that maybe not many people take noticed, interestingly Eunkyung and Yuri always wear earrings:

Eunkyung = Silver

Yuri = Gold.

Silver is symbolism of Moon, and Gold is Sun.

Also Yuri is described as warm hearted person, like a Sun. While Eunkyung is the opposite.

One of Good Partner ost have title "Talking to The Moon". I kinda believe the Moon refer to Eunkyung.

Death's Game

Started it today and ended it today. This 8 episode long series is too intense to leave it for later. I binged watched it like I haven't done so in a while. It is the kind of series that is best to go into it without knowing much, unless you read the webtoon. I haven't read it yet, but it's a really short webtoon so I think I will probably read it.

Anyway, this series is not for the fainted heart. It has a lot of triggers and it can be gruesome and gory in some points. However, if you don't mind it, watch it. It is really good. It keeps the audience in suspense and it makes us cry.

The cast did an amazing job! Each person felt like it was Yi Jae.

not that anyone cares but i also watched No Gain No Love and posted a review on letterboxd but that's kinda weird for me because all my thoughts usually go here so i'm just gonna copy-paste my review here as well. it's not too favourable 🙈

I started watching this when 9 episodes were already out and I had been seeing positive reviews weekly on twitter & tumblr.

When I saw the cast before I even started watching, I was slightly pissed that Lee Sangyi was not paired against Shin Mina. This would've been amazing for my Hometown ChaChaCha loving heart. But anyway. It was my first time watching Kim Youngdae and to get it out of the way: he cannot act. I came to this conclusion after patiently watching 6 episodes. Fun shows can be more fun if everyone knew how to act or they stick out like a sore thumb :|

You have this veteran actor who can hold her own in every scene and then you pair her with someone so stiff. It's a shame. On the other hand, the great thing about Lee Sangyi is he has chemistry with everyone. So his pairing with Han Jihyun (and Jihyun herself) was amazing. Loved every second of it.

Minor gripe about Joo Minkyung's character: they showed an open relationship which is very progressive for a kdrama but we only get to see the man have two female partners. Why didn't the woman get another male partner? If the pregnancy and the question of paternity were a minor plot point then we should've had a face in a minor role.

Overall it was fun. Most of these stars are for the second couple. (2 ½ ⭐)
