I even made a sideblog for @hiddencityhijinksau where you can ask me questions about it, and find the start of the comic! Which is... barely there, but I'm working on it! Slowly. I want it to be full colour, so it takes a while.

I've also recently made a Trolls AU which I will be drawing a comic of, and posting here with the tag #little family of weirdos

Christmas gift commission for a very dear friend of mine, Maya aka @maizeeee ! One of our mutual friends reached out to me for a festive drawing of Maya's beloved Sebastiano, a TMNT 2012 OC! He's very near and dear to me, so this was a blast to put together :D

The sweater is a running joke about Sebastiano, aka Seb; he looooves shrimp, even though he's VERY much allergic. The turtles can still find a good joke to be had with it.

Saw your bird Leo, knew literally nothing about him, went straight to your blog solely to find the reference pics, and then spent over an hour and a half feverishly drawing him meeting my Leo fan kid, Hamato Maya. She's super excited to see a version of her dad that's also part bird like she is!!

I'm actually gonna go read your fic about him, but not til tomorrow cuz it's way past my bedtime by now.

Younger Siblings Tournament Bracket Reveal

A few things I want to mention before I reveal the bracket (and make the post really long because all the matchups will be listed in text):

Seeding of fictional characters in tumblr polls is inherently subjective. I did try to make it so that more popular characters/media would (most likely) face off against each other in later rounds, but I may be overestimating or underestimating the popularity of some characters/media, especially ones I'm not familiar with. There are some round 1 matchups that are probably a closer match but none of them are between the strongest candidates... I think.

The more niche characters will probably get obliterated in the first round as per Squimbus' Law. This is a tumblr poll and I do fully expect more popular characters to sweep, but that doesn't mean you can't encourage your friends to give your niche faves a fighting chance.

Also there are some matchups I literally just thought would be funny. Please don't take this too seriously.

Sibling Showdown!!!

This showdown consists of 64 sibling sets facing off against each other, as well as a few one-off polls of sets who didn’t make the actual bracket but who I wanted to include in some capacity.  Polls will last a week.  Round One of section A will go live on April 16, with section B going live the day after, section C the day after that, and section D the day after that.

Propaganda is allowed!  I just ask that it be kept positive.  Argue for your faves instead of against someone else’s.  Every sibling set who made it in the showdown is there because someone wanted them to be, so keep it kind.

Will the winners be the siblings that love each other the most?  That are most capable of killing other sibling groups with their bare hands?  That have the most sibling swag?  It’s up to you to decide!  You get to choose the manner and parameters you judge each sibling set for.

thinking leosagi were childhood friends until whoever usagi's parent is dies (idk if we're making our own usagi or we're using yuichi. i'm keeping it open 😂 ) draxum offers to take usagi under his wing and make him into a prosecutor and usagi agrees out of guilt and grief. radio silence about usagi for a couple of years until draxum saw donnie's potential to be a prosecutor and invited him to join in too. donnie leaves the hamatos without telling them his plan to become a prosecutor to have eyes on what happens to their family because someone is clearly plotting to take them down. leo now thinks both his childhood friend and twin brother betrayed him so he's determined to become a defense attorney to see both of them again.

I love that for a lot of ROTTMNT artists who have created kids for the turtles, it’s either one of two scenarios.

1) One turtle has one kid (maybe a partner too) and the rest of the turtles are just the best uncles ever.

Or

2) One turtle has a whole little family and the other turtles don’t.

Meanwhile I’m over here like:

You will all find love and create cute little families with at least two kids for each turtle. The Hamato clan will grow!

And I’m not exaggerating about it. Allow me to elaborate:

Raph is the last to find love. He meets a frightened lioness yokai named Maya in the hidden city. She has a young child, a son, with her. His heart goes out to her and brings her to the lair. Long story short, the son bonds with Raph and Maya falls for Raph. Two years later, he takes in a painted turtle mutant as his own.

Leo is the first to find love and marries his girlfriend Janet after four years of dating. With a mix of science and mystic powers, they have four kids together.

Donnie and his girlfriend Whitney, due to being a same turtle species, manage to have five kids in the more natural way. Two sets of twins and a singleton; they also consider Shelldon as one of their kids as well. They get married shortly after their first set of twins turn one.

Mikey marries his girlfriend, a dog mutant, Juliet, of eight years shortly after their set of ‘twins’ are born. Fours years later, they take in a fennec fox mutant.

So in the end:

Raph has two kids and a girlfriend.

Leo has a wife and four kids.

Donnie has a wife and six kids.

Mikey has a wife and three kids.

I love family dynamics where aunts, uncles and cousins are super close. I myself came from a big family but was never close to my extended family on either side.

So if I can’t have it, my OCs from TMNT and my own series will have it. :D

Lost but Never Forgotten (Mikey Hamato x Mara Harrison-Hamato, Melanie Mason, Amaya Kitoyani)

(A/N: This all happened just now while talking to @asmosshampoo and @kitomon. Thank you both for bringing this up for me to write!)

“Sweetheart, we can’t be here.” Mikey said as he stayed close to his wife. His cloak kept his face shadowed as his head was on a swivel.

Mara on the other hand was laying out a small bushel of tropical flowers that she had grown in a tiny hydroponics pod that would make her dad and pèpa proud. With her hands on two small gravestones she looked up at the names that read her two closest friends and only sisters in the world. Mikey had heard the tell tale sound of a sniffle, causing him to drop his guard and be the husband he needed to be. The Kraang were here for only a couple years and already they had lost so much. And it was crumbling Mara to nothing. Her depression was now carried with PTSD. Days where even Leo would worry for his sister-in-law’s own health and sanity.

But she kept pushing through.

“I miss you… so much.” Mara finally spoke. Mikey looked at his wife and kneeled next to her, his hand on her shoulder.

“So much has happened. You probably have proof with you already. Tell Pèpa that Shelldon is doing alright. Mikey and I just celebrated our five year anniversary, he took me to the Empire State building just to watch a meteor shower. We had to cut it short though, but I still loved it.

We’ve been doing our best to fight the Kraang back. Really we have. I was just helping Leo take care of this boy that he found. You’d love him. Donnie found it amusing that Leo can be responsible. You both would have been so proud.”

Mara choked on a sob, placing a hand over her mouth to silence the sound. Her bangs swayed under her. Mikey kept her upright and pulled her close to his side. The sudden sound of one of the Kraang ships flew overhead, causing Mikey to shield them both under his cloak as camouflage as the ship flew. They were scanning for any enemies, any life that wasn’t the alien species themselves. The hum and shadow of the ship finally began to fade away as the distant sun came back to grace the land before them. As Mikey pulled his cloak back Mara had looked over to the small headstones only to see the flowers were blown away except for one pink flower.

Getting to her feet, Mara began to frantically search for the rest of the flowers. Murmurs, whispers and chirps of sorts escaped her lips while her husband watched with a broken heart and pain in his eyes. This shouldn’t have happened to them. Right now, they should still be in the lair, or living in Brooklyn. In the brown house building that she grew up in. With the fairy lights in her bedroom. Now their possible childs room. Curled up in each other’s arms and counting the days to Donnie and Mel’s wedding anniversary. Or how to tease Leo and Maya who were the last to get married.

But here he was, watching his wife lose her own sanity trying to bring some sense of life in this dystopian world they occupied. Being careful of where he walked, Mikey had grabbed Mara’s arm which prompted her to stop her search and gibberish. The muscles in her arms were as tight as a wound rubber band about to snap any second now. He carefully turned her to face him, her green blue eyes meeting his baby blues. He looked at his wife's hands, covered in soil, oil and petals of the flowers that were blown away from the ship earlier. He brought her hands closer to his face and began to pick out the petals and slip them in a pocket inside his cloak. His hand wiped away the grime on her hands and gently stroked over her wrists where her pulse throbbed to signify life.

Mara had looked up at Mikey, who had grown so much not only in height, but in maturity. He flashed his award winning smile her way which she could remember on the day he asked to date her and she said yes. And to see her sisters. Amaya and Melanie. Donnie and Raph too. It hit her hard, too hard. It was too much for her, but it gave Mikey a good feeling that she was still there with him at that moment. He quickly pulled her to his chest and hugged her tightly. His wife’s muted wails snuffed by her burying her face into his neck and the hood of his cloak. Her bitten nails clawed in the same place on his shell to hold him closer.

“Shhhhh… it’s okay, papillon. I’ve got you.” He whispered.

“I miss them… I want them back, Mikey.” Mara cried.

It was physically impossible, they both knew it. But it was something that everyone wished for. Rubbing her back, Mikey kissed the side of her head and blinked away his tears. He was her rock, she needed to shed tears, not him. Not right now.

“I know, baby. But you’ll never lose them because you have their memories.” He reassured her as he pulled her back and tilted her chin up so they would meet eye to eye once more.

Mara could see the glimmer of hurt and hope in his eyes, and a small hopeful smile playing on his still youthful face. She finally returned his smile and leaned in to press her forehead to his own. Mikey let out a content sigh and felt his worries wash away for the brief moment.

“Why did I marry you?” She teased.

“Because I’m a triple threat, baby. Brain’s, brawn, and obviously a dazzling personality.” Mikey retorted before pressing a peck to her cheek.

Taking her hand in his and walking her back to the two headstones, He scattered the petals that he saved earlier and laid a fresh sprinkle of soil. Mara kneeled down and pressed a kiss to each headstone before straightening up and allowing Mikey to take them back to camp.

On one headstone it reads: Here lies Melanie Hamato, Daughter, sister and beloved wife.

The other, it reads: Here lies Amaya Hamato, Daughter, Sister, and beloved wife.

Together in the end state: Lost but Never Forgotten, for they are with the Hamato clan and will always be by their side to protect and love for eternity.

A SEQUEL TO "END OF INFINITY"

He wrings his arm around his Dearest lovingly, pulling him as close as humanly possible, angling his neck slightly to begin a trail of kisses down the Bat’s olive tanned forehead, nose, eyes and cheek apples until he settles upon his lips. The latter giggle sighs into the other’s mouth and together they stay this way, soaking and basking in each other’s essence.

Emerald eyes rise like the sun, bright and misty, smiling Damian traces Jon’s face languidly, “يا لها من طريقة مجيدة لبدء الصباح ... (ya laha min tariqat mujayidat libad' alsabah ...)”*

The surgeon grinned widely; he carts his hand through Damian’s hair, twirling strands on his pointer finger. Since the resurrection, the ex-Robin had adopted a more lax approach to his hairstyle, letting it grow out thick and long on top but short on the sides. It cascaded splendidly over the man’s face making him even more handsome.

 Six years...it seemed only yesterday that Jon and Damian reunited but like the solstice life phased by and oh how wonderfully long and deliriously happy they were. Looking at each other, the memories flashed through their minds like film reels, as clear and crisp as the day.
