This is important for me to say.. I may not be the perfect fan, I may not be the most devoted, I don’t have the most merch, I haven’t been to the most shows, I may not be able to be the one at the front of the pit, I wasn’t able to make a show until 2 years ago even though I’ve loved your music since 2014. Halsey you’ve walked me to my classes, you’ve been at my parties, my loneliness, my victories, my failures, and even my wedding. I don’t have the biggest stan presence on twitter, I don’t have a follow. And honestly none of that matters to me. You do, your music does, your life does.

I wish you didn’t see the hate online, I wish you could hear the way I talk about your music to my husband, I wish you could hear the way I sing your music as a lullaby to my baby, I wish you could see the love in my eyes for you. I wish I could hold your hand and tell you all this. I know that won’t make the hateful things go away I just know that’s how I feel and I wanted you to hear it too.
