3 Second Delay - hallowedout​ Story - http://goo.gl/sCXiMf   Though i get how the ending is suppose to be eerie and all, im just left pretty confused about alot of things like which senses are on a delay and simply how our main character works. Such a shame too becuse after alittle thinking, with just a few tweaks this pasta could be absolutely terrifying.   So which senses are on a delay? Well we know from the opening paragraph that our main characters vision is on a delay, but as far as her smell and hearing there are some inconsistencies. When in a car accident our main character is completely calm, evidences that all of these senses are on a delay, but then when in their loft at the end, they can hear their neighbors screams and smell the smoke, evidence that only sight is on a delay. I personally think the latter is much scarier, considering you know something really bad is going on, you can hear it and feel it, but you just can’t see it, not yet atleast; and had the story been consistent and expanded on that idea, this really would have been one of the more creative pastas i’v ever read.   Another thing i am curious about is with the ending. Our main character can hear the screams of their neighbors and smell the smoke, but becuse of the delay they can see the plane 3 seconds from crashing into their apartment building, then what is happening to the main characters physical body? The plane crashes and i assume destroys our main characters apartment as well, wouldn’t that kill them as well? Another example is if i were to shoot our main character in the back of the head, everything for them would end weather there is a delay or not, same with this plane crash. If our main character survives the initial crash (which they would have to in order to hear the screams and such), then the only confusion is with the before mentioned inconsistencies.   Like i said before had it been more consistent and further explored this would have been a creative, plausible, and all round excellent pasta. One last thing though; “I watch the clock change a minute for 63 seconds“, no you wouldn’t, you would see it for 60 seconds like everyone else, it’s just i would see it change to 3:45 3 seconds before you do.
