see i like the idea that like. flynn HATES sweet nice hallelujah. cannot stand him. meanwhile, he gets along with toki and gaston
#shitpost#i have SO many thoughts about flynn and toki being weird friends#like its DEFINITELY at first like her trying to be rivals with him#but he respects her for knocking herself out of the gaeans#and SHE has to respect him for his strength#he DID defeat yuriko#its just so funny to me that i think flynn gets along with everyone in the group except hallelujah. who is a nice sweet boy#ok also navarre its like a weird relationship because navarre is dead and like. i think flynn would blame himself for that.#is all im saying. so like. lets go.#and like nozomi is FLYNN'S friend not nanashi's. but nanashi literally doesn't even know she knows flynn#like smtiva just does not state that clearly anywhere which is interestin to me#nozomi REALLY keeps things close to her chest#and flynn is fine with asahi and nanashi. obviously.#and isabeau is also flynn's friend. obviously#so its just literally hallelujah and navarre where things are weird. but he HATES hallelujah#smtiv replay#dont ask me about flynn's relationship with gaston#because i think they should kiss. anyways.

Hidden Relics and The Man Who Hid (Them) - Translation
This is a translation of Hallelujah's side story found in the SMTIVA artbook. There used to be a translation floating around for this a couple years ago, although it appears to have been taken down. So I've asked a good friend of mine to translate the story and I looked over it for lore accuracy.
A direct link to the translation hosted on their blog can be found here. But if you'd like to read it on tumblr, click the read more. Please enjoy your read!
One more thing: PLEASE DO NOT REPOST THIS TRANSLATION ANYWHERE ELSE. Instead, link back to either this tumblr post or my friend's blog if you wish to share it.
Hidden Relics and the Man who Hid Them

A single notebook rests in the man’s hand. That aged notebook is just one of the relics the man found in his former residence…it’s the memoir of a certain woman. The man places his fingers atop the warped cover just as he always does, and sets foot into the world of the memoir…
—
Feb 12
Hallelujah found a pen and a notebook. He said it was a present for Mama. I used this when I was study-ing¹ with Angel. How long ago was that again? Hallelujah’s four now, so… No, no. I don’t wanna think about it.
Angel complimented my handwriting. He said “it’s not very well done, but repetition is key.”
Writing a diary so he compliments me again.
Feb 13
Three visitors. Ashura Kai came to collect the money, and give us food rashions². A little more than usual, thanks to the work I did. Mama will work hard for Hallelujah.
Feb 14
Zero visitors. Big fire in Shibuya. Scary.
Humans are scarier than demons. Angel…
Feb 15
Four visitors. Tired.
Feb 16
Visito
May 2
Forgot about the diary. Writing every day is hard.
Jun 13
Ashura Kai came to collect the money. Guy in charge is annoying.
Luckily visitors were nice today.
Jun 15
We got canned food from the guests³. Hallelujah was super happy. But… I didn’t know what to say when he asked me “what’s a backblue⁴?”. If Angel were here, he would have told him. Have to study.
Jun 20th⁵
Hallelujah keeps yelling about wanting to go outside. Even though it’s dangerous up there. Even though I’m doing my best to live down here for him.
Jul 4th
Hallelujah and I talked about Papa. “Samyaza”... I get shy just saying his name. I’ll keep what really happened a secret for now.
He asked me, “why isn’t he with us?”
Why, I wonder?
Jul 15th
Ashura Kai came to collect the money.
Seems grades are good. Oh dear.
August⁶ 15th
The Ashura Kai⁷ came to collect the money. I ranted to a friendly guest, and their response was “poor thing.” They said I was such a poor thing, having to work and take care of a child at the same time.
Am I really a poor thing?
August 16th
Was all guests I hated today. But have to stay strong. For Hallelujah.
Sep 9⁸
Wrong. Something, wrong. Head spinning. Get mad when I look at Hallelujah. How can he laugh when I’m suffering this much?
But all this suffering is for his sake.
He looks just like me and I hate it. Hate everything.
September 15th
Collected the money.
I’m mad. Can’t even look at Hallelujah.
September 2
September 21st
I hit Hallelujah yesterday.
He kept asking questions about my work, and I said “you know it’s all your fault” and hit him.
I even blurted out “it’s your fault Angel went away too.”
I’m awful.
September 30th
Hallelujah threw up.
While I was cleaning it up, he cried “sorry, sorry.” I said “you’re a lot more serious than you were when you were a baby,” and it made me laugh.
I felt like that was the first time I’d laughed in a long time.
Then Hallelujah laughed too.
He laughed for me, even though I’d done something so horrible.
For some reason, it made me want to cry.
October 1st
I’m thinking as I watch Hallelujah sleep.
Hallelujah’s name was given to him by Angel.
It means “gratitude.”
I was really happy, so I tried my best to remember how to write it, even though it’s hard to spell⁹.
How the hell did I forget that? I’m such an idiot.
October 3rd
I hit Hallelujah and managed to say “sorry.”
He forgave me with an “it’s all righty.”
He patted me with his tiny little hands.
Sorry. Love you.
October 15th
That guest again. Always telling me I’m a “poor thing,” so annoying.
October 21st
I still have a lot of mixed feelings about Hallelujah.
But I’m not angry at him. Luckily.
Nov 15¹⁰
What am I gonna do? Hallelujah hit the man who collects the money. I got hit, then Hallelujah, he turned into something not human, got scary strong, then that guy, he wouldn’t move. Ashura Kai—no, oh my God, this isn’t what you should write in a diary.
But I want to calm down.
Hallelujah can’t stop shaking even though I’m hugging him tight.
Hallelujah was just helping me. He didn’t do anything wrong. That’s it, Hallelujah didn’t do anything wrong.
Hallelujah did not do anything wrong.
Hallelujah cried himself to sleep. Thank God.
It was hard, but I made up my mind.
We’re going to leave the Underground. I thought I wouldn’t survive if I wasn’t here. But that’s wrong.
I have everything Angel has taught me. It’ll be okay.
Leaving before the stores open is a matter of life or death.
I’ll keep Hallelujah safe.
—
“They sure do change easily, these ‘humans.’”
The man's cold and emotionless words reflect his hardened features as he emerges from the glow of the streetlights. And yet, for some reason he couldn’t place, when his eyes catch sight of these words of determination written in smudged letters, his hand stops. The man had never once thought about why that was.
Just as his hand stopped, he checked his smartphone for new notifications, but… The name which he hoped to see was still not there. Ignoring the many voices seeking out his direction, the man turns his attention to the rest of the memoir.
This memoir tells the tale of a mother and child desperately searching for a way to survive. Silently, the man continues to read…
—
May 19th
Our life on the surface has been going smoothly, thanks to us handing out Reds. I’m less worried about the demons. Hallelujah will be 10 soon. Seems like he’s made a friend called Chiro. I wonder what kind of kid they are?
June 12th
We got canned food as payment for the Reds!
Hallelujah was on the edge of his seat before we even opened it. He looks happy eating the fruit. I’m glad.
June 13th
Hallelujah fell asleep hugging the empty can.
It made him that happy?
June 15th
Studying with Hallelujah. I want to tell him everything Angel taught me.
June 28th
Hallelujah made me mad. It was because he took out that empty can when we were collecting relics. Is that thing his prized possession…?
June 29th
Making up with Hallelujah. I promised I wouldn’t put my hands on him without thinking anymore. Sorry, Hallelujah.
July 10th
I know what Hallelujah’s friend is now. It was a shock.
July 12th
I ran into that guest from our time underground. I wished they’d shut up about wanting me to come back to the city or wanting to look after me. Not to mention they told me how sorry they are for me again. I’m mad.
July 18th
Hallelujah has gotten good at looking for relics.
I told him “you’d be fine doing this on your own at this point” to praise him, but that made him extremely grumpy. Why??
July 20th
That guy’s here again. Ugh.
Even though Hallelujah’s forgotten what happened that day.
July 22nd
Hallelujah doesn’t seem to like studying. He said it was because he was gonna play with his friend, then ran off. Where’d this come from?
If only Angel were here at a time like this…
August 22nd
Had a conversation with a grumpy Hallelujah.
Studying is essential for proper judgment.
It’s essential in order to decide for yourself what’s important to you. Just like how I decided to believe Angel. …I wonder if I got through to him?
September 2nd
I found out why Hallelujah was acting so strange.
That man told him things. Things like “it’s my fault you got driven above ground” and “they want to get rid of me.” What the hell? Sure enough, humans are the worst. Way, way worse than demons!!
I want to explain. But what should I say?
September 5th
That guy has been loitering around us again.
Hallelujah is still feeling down too… Worried.
September 30th
I was debating whether or not to do this, but I’m going to tell Hallelujah.
That Angel really is an angel.
That he’s not human.
And… about what happened that day.
Tomorrow I will tell him. Angel, give me courage.
October 1st
The conversation went awful. “You’ve been giving me special treatment ‘cause I’m not human,” and “I can tell my dad was more important to you.” …I had thought it’d go like that.
October 3rd
Hallelujah’s in his room with Chiro, and he won’t come out.
If I was Angel, what would I do? …Maybe It’s because I’m always like this that it seemed like his dad was more important to me.
I have. To think.
October 4th
I’m rereading through this diary and thinking. I’ve written everything here, whether it’s the things that made me happy or the things that caused me pain. It’s really true that I hated that child. It’s really true that I loved him, too.
All of it. It’s all true.
October 5th
Received a summons from that man. I’m scared, so I’m bringing that weapon I snatched back then. I wonder; can I use it?
I want to talk with Hallelujah when I get home.
I’ve finally settled on what I want to say.
I like Hallelujah.
I love Hallelujah, because he’s Hallelujah!
I didn’t ask for us to make someone I could cherish other than myself just so I could abandon him.
When I had a chance encounter with Angel and was blessed with Hallelujah, I was really, truly happy.
I just wanted to do a good job of getting this happiness across to him, too.
…Can I even get that across to him? I’m an idiot, so I doubt I can.
But I’ll tell him as many times as it takes. Angel told me that repetition is key, after all.
Well, I should head out soon. …I know you probably wouldn’t give me a reply to this, so I’ll write it here.
See you later, Hallelujah.
—
The memoir ends there, and the aged notebook does not speak further. But the man knew. He knew of both the woman’s abrupt and miserable end and of the whereabouts of the child who lost his mother’s protection…
“Mr. Abe, it’s an emergency!!”
The man who was called—Abe, furrowing his brow, would go to respond to the insolent trespasser.
“Understood. The ‘final battle,’ yeah?”
Yes, at last, the curtain has risen on the battle between God’s Chariot and the Demon King. As Acting Chairman, it is his duty to finish this play, and yet…
“...Not a word from him.”
There were still no notifications from the person he longed to see—from Hallelujah.
That made one thing apparent—estrangement.
“Guess ya found yer angel… Eh, Ayako?”
Abe—the fallen angel who was once called an ‘angel’—imagined a future in which he would stand opposite his own son…and laughed.
<Fin>
TL Notes:
Studying is written in katakana here. It shows unfamiliarity with the written word.
Half of the word is written in katakana here, and the other half in kanji. I chose to portray this as a misspelling, as someone new to writing would be just as likely to misspell the word “rations” in English as they would be not to know the first kanji of the word haikyuu (rations) in Japanese.
Mama writes the word okyaku (visitors/guests) in kanji for the first time here. I marked this with a switch from “visitors” (neutral connotation) to “guests” (more respectful connotation of welcomeness).
Hallelujah seems to have flipped the kanji in the word “blueback (fish)”(青魚 lit. blue fish)to 魚青 (lit. fish blue); I had him flip the word “blueback” to “backblue” in the same manner. He likely read it left to right instead of right to left.
Before this date, the days were written in hiragana. This marks the switch to the use of kanji for each day. I decided to portray this by typing the numbers in proper date format (e.g. 20th instead of 20).
Before this date, the months were written in hiragana. This marks the switch to the use of kanji for each month. I decided to portray this by typing the months spelled out instead of abbreviated.
Rather than writing the “Ashura” in “Ashura Kai” entirely in hiragana as she had been doing previously, Mama writes the first kanji in “Ashura” here for the first time. I decided to portray this by using the article “the” to make it a more complete sentence, thus similarly showing a progression of education.
Mama returns to writing the date entirely in hiragana here in her distress.
Referring to it being difficult to write the kanji for gratitude (感謝). I paralleled this to spelling the word.
Same as TL note 8.

Analyzing each SMTIVA Goddess
As I discussed in this previous post, the Goddess shouldn't necessarily meant to be taken as Dagda ressurecting one of Nanashi's partners with their state of mind right before they died and/or under a 'brainwashed' state.
The difference between Dagda reviving Nanashi&Flynn compared to the partners is that the latter is being done from scratch rather than just healing wounds. And if Dagda is making a person from zero, a body alone won't suffice. He needs 'someone' to remember the soul and reshape as how they were. This is particularly useful to consider as reincarnation is a thing in the SMT4 duology, thus a soul could have infinite shapes.
The Goddesses in Massacre are stated in-game to be Nanashi's memories, in other words, 'ideas', 'interpretations', or 'impressions' that Nanashi had of them when alive.
This means that they could come from different periods from when Nanashi knew them. So many possibilities can be made.
Asahi is seen by many as the 'default Goddess' as she not only is the partner with the biggest emotional factor to be chosen by Nanashi, but she's also the one that you never fight against.
Childhood friend, sibling, lover, whatever it be, you knew and cared for each other the longest out of the cast.
If you side with Dagda in your very first run, it's noticeable that she'd be the only partner that won't have the Awakening Skill (which would strongly inhance her healing if she had it). In other words, her Mediarama would be lacking.
Even putting that aside, she still would be frustrating to be around if you're attempting to summon demons exclusive to fusion accidents due to her AI immediately casting Posumudi on your team (having you and your fodder material sick improves the chances for fusion accidents, remember?).
For these reasons mentioned, it can be stated that a Massacre run with Goddess Asahi would be the least helpful or resourceful one. Very characteristic of our little Asahi.
Anyway it doesn't take a genius to interpret this ending specially with the last particular line your partner gives you as something akin to gods giving birth through divine means.
But the real point behind this post is comparing the different flavors of what each union in this route produces.
Toki's vibe seems more of a possessive Goddess despite both girls meaning the same thing in their dialogue. Fair enough, we're talking about someone that attentively watches Nanashi when he takes a nap.
Fitting to her Cosmic Egg dialogue as she was possessed by Inanna, Toki was the partner that would represent this fertility element in the most explicit way.
As attentive fans might have felt, the Chaos alignment in SMT preach for 'one's return to its roots'. The Ring of Gaea wear ancient Japanese clothes and follows the might of the strong while praying for gods that came prior to the God of Law aka YHVH. Many of the Japanese Gods in the franchise originally belonged to the Chaos alignment for this reason.
It's important to have this in mind to understand the nuance of Toki calling Nanashi "Master". She is basically using an archaic way of a wife referring to her husband, and of course one will immediately put the last piece of the puzzle together: Flynn, the one with Samurai mannerisms, is also conveniently using an archaic way to refer to a Lord since he thinks of himself as Nanashi's subordinate in this ending.
If you pick a male partner for the Goddess role, this extra dialogue plays followed by the partner being particularly surprised by your choice.
Hal is usually not considered in the 'harem' as Asahi and Toki since the girl duo is explicit in several levels above him but... when you think about it, it still makes sense for Hallelujah's character. He blushes multiple times, allows Nanashi to vent alone with him, even goes far as showing annoyance at the prospect of Nanashi showing interest on girls and viceversa.
He is a shy boy whose only reference in his life have been hot-bloodied Ashura-kai he grew up around, so he is just more subtle about it. Don't take a Yakuza affectionately calling you 'bro' as nothing.
I decided to group Asahi, Toki and Hallelujah together because they are the trio with the most, let's say... closeness and emotions-resembling-romance in one-on-one interactions towards Nanashi.
With the most crucial evidence being their final phrase conveying their desire towards the act of childbirth itself for you.
OHHHHHHHHH HOLY MOTHER OF NTR
Regardless of your interpretation concerning how Flynn and Isabeau saw each other, she being Flynn's last living teammate and her devotion towards giving assistance to his savior role grouped with she being neutral at best and being secretly disgusted by Nanashi at worst produces a not very... wholesome picture of this scenario.
If anything, the main reason one would think for why Isabeau continued to place trust on Nanashi's party had more to do with Asahi's presence. Isabeau as a partner is highly valued for her good skills in early game but she interestingly doesn't have close interactions with Nanashi as she has with Asahi.
The messiest element of all is that while Isabeau refuses to let Flynn kill her if Flynn sides with Law or Chaos out of not wanting his hands to get dirty, she will give no dignity to Nanashi and lets the young Hunter do as he pleases with her.
To which one cannot help but think as they watch this ending: Nanashi's memories of Isabeau aren't of warmth or friendship as he'd have for any of his other partners. These memories of Isabeau are based on how he watched Isabeau act towards Flynn.
This Goddess choice was made purely out of spite.
Due to what? Her coldness? Her refusal to think for herself aside mostly working for Flynn's sake?
Or simply to twist her into becoming his own tool instead of Flynn's?
Now start noticing the difference regarding Isabeau and the adults compared to Nanashi's young teen peers.
In the case of the adults, as they were less emotionally involved with Nanashi, they use childbirth more as means towards the end.
While Nozomi's baggage can't be compared to Isabeau's, I think of her as a messy option likewise since siding with Nanashi is going against the alignment she originally stood for, specially considering this memory of Nozomi has Danu inside her (she only got to know Nanashi after becoming the Queen of Fairies after all).
Goddess Nozomi particularly gave me a strong impression due to her being the only partner boasting her final quote with a determined face compared to others looking content or prideful. Then you remember why one of her skills is named the way it is.
Nanashi and Nozomi's relationship could be seen as a mirror to the tense mother-son rivalry between Dagda and Danu (which are essentially the main sides you can choose from) but also, when you think about before they even met each other, both were weak characters needing Flynn's help initially. However, through forming a contract to become an 'extension' of a Celtic deity, they gradually became able to stand on their own.
So Nanashi and Nozomi thematically are foils to each other and would be at odds not even necessarily due to each's own sense of morality but because they literally owe how far they got to the blessings Dagda and Danu gave them, respectively. To this argument, Nanashi definitely would pick her with spite just like with Isabeau.
While moments related to his character growth are mostly directed to characters that aren't Nanashi per se in the main story, I deem Gaston as the 'least detached' from the adult group as his attitude shift to protect Nanashi in his endgame partner lines gives you an impression that he developed a bias for the boy he once deemed filthy nonetheless, alongside his intense heartbroken reaction if Nanashi sides with Dagda in contrast to Nozomi's and Isabeau's cold approaches.
You could theorize that Gaston possibly reached the point of placing his full trust in Nanashi once the fact that the boy was the reincarnation of Akira AKA the very first king of Mikado was out, which means Nanashi indeed felt like the blessed figurehead he was desiring to fight for after distancing himself from Merkabah.
The irony in Massacre is that it ended up being that Nanashi did not, in fact, want to follow Akira's steps.
The way I see Goddess Gaston in Massacre, his role strongly matches Flynn's. Both think of themselves as retainers for Nanashi.
Isabeau fought to serve Flynn, Nozomi fought to shield her fairy allies and Gaston fought to eliminate threats against his kingdom.
Nanashi redirected their loyalty towards himself.
I left Navarre for last and separated from the two groups I mentioned since he's, by all purposes, the intended comical exception:
He is the only Goddess where Nanashi still uses his help instead of manipulating the Energy Sword on his own. He is the oldest of the cast and yet he is probably one of the characters with most emotional moments alone with Nanashi (in fact, the very last message in your inbox regardless of your Goddess of choice is always him pleading you to not regret your actions). And most of all, even above Asahi or Toki themselves, he seems the most... in-character of all the Goddesses.
One could argue that perhaps since he never had a body and could potentially shift his attitude according to the circumstances, his ending could even just be interpreted as he being held in custody by Dagda and just being released later.
Navarre only followed Nanashi in the first place because he had nothing or nobody else to turn to. He betrayed his kingdom, refused to face his family and past teammates, died at the hands of a demon and on top of it all, was unable to go to the other side.
And then he saw Nanashi. A dead person trapped in the living world just like his own situation. Nanashi and Navarre's bond was entirely out of chance and yet it could be said it was one of the most genuine of them.
Navarre could simply wander off from Nanashi once he noticed something wrong was happening, as he had no social obligations or strong ties. Nanashi could simply use Dagda's power to destroy the Energy Barriers himself, as shown in the other Goddess routes. But they kept being the company of each other in their lonely state of neither-life-or-death.
If Nanashi would choose the first Goddess group out of emotional ties and the second group for their use as tools, Navarre would essentially be Nanashi finding solace with the one he not necessarily cared about or found useful but just was always the most similar to: a detached soul that no matter what, stubbornly refused death.
Navarre despite everything, was able to meet Nanashi. After all they went through together, he becomes sure he will be able to meet many more like him.

SMT IV Apocalypse Plot Bunnies:
1. Instead of Hunters finding baby Nanashi a demon finds him, like a Nekomata or something. And instead of eating him, decides to raise him with help from some of their demon pals. A human baby needs milk, so the new demon parent asks (or begs) some of the demons/goddesses known for motherhood or children, like the goddess Isis who was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife, to breastfeed baby Nanashi. Because he's been breastfed by a goddess, Nanashi becomes a bit more sturdy than the average human (and picks up magic a lot earlier). He's not a demon, but he's also not completely human either.
This story would best fit with either pairings nanaflynn or nanalujah. With nanalujah, Nanashi and his demon family are living at some demon infested park (not any of the ones by the Hunters) when this Ashura-Kai kid comes wandering in. That's when they meet. Hallelujah excited that there's another kid out there not completely human. Nanashi not really trusting humans because some of his demon family has either been murdered by them or turned into their slaves. With nanaflynn, Flynn stumbles upon Nanashi while doing a quest and the two take an instant liking to one another (since their messiah souls are intertwined *cough* soulmates *cough* and all that). Nanashi then agrees to go with Flynn on his journey and help him (growing up in a demon family has helped prepare him for fighting and stuff).
P.S. Nanashi doesn't die in this AU so the normal SMT IV neutral route continues.
2. Messiahs in the Diamond Realm AU - Nanashi helps the other Messiahs like usual and they even beat Stephen, but before Stephen can send them can to their home world a YHVH (which one? Who knows?) attacks them. The Messiahs end up in another AU with no contact with Stephen (he's busy dealing with the YHVH or perhaps cannot find them in the multiple AUs they could have ended up). Now the five messiahs must work together to figure out a way back to their respective worlds. The story would be about them working together, arguing over different world views, bonding over similarities, traveling through the smt multiverse, Flynn's and Nanashi's intertwined souls, etc.
P.S. I like to imagine Nanashi taking this mission on after defeating the YHVH of his world, Bond route.
That's all for now!

Hallelujah + Chironnupu Character Page Translation

Hallelujah Introduction
A boy from the Ashura-Kai, the organization that previously held Tokyo under its thumb. He fights alongside Nanashi and the others as a part of his duty, but in battle, he comes face-to-face with the secret behind his birth as a “half-breed” between demon and human, which he had been hiding. Through his relationship with Nanashi and the others, he comes to discover the answer to the question that has made him feel so lost: is he a human, or a demon? And where should he stand in life?
Commentary by Masayuki Doi
To make the most of the setting we staged, we had the idea of including a mixed-race child. Only the image of “tanned skin” was carried over to the final draft, but other than that, he became a completely different character from the scenario in the early stages. The “Ashura-Kai” feel is represented by his suit, and his “delinquent child” feel is expressed through his sukajan jacket. His pointed ears and black fingernails, among other things, show his demon side. His post-awakening appearance is that of a color change, but it expresses the development staff’s ideal image of him.
—
Chironnupu Introduction
Hallelujah is accompanied by this demon whom he calls his partner. He is a kind of deity that the Ainu people believe in known as a “Kamui,” and he should be called “The Red Fox Spirit.” He is usually called “Chiro” by Hallelujah, and he mainly shows his ability to assist in battle on behalf of Hallelujah, who is basically unable to fight.
Commentary by Masayuki Doi
Chironnupu was created in response to requests for a mascot-like demon in the early stages of demon design development. His design is more than just a straightforward “cute mascot,” as we were aiming for a cuteness suitable for Megaten. The lore associated with Chironnupu is very scarce, so we were approaching the design with the keywords “Ainu, fox, spirit, hunting,” and rather than depicting him as a fox as they are, we made him into a childish spirit wearing a hand-carved wooden mask.
#smt iv apocalypse#smtiva#smtivf#smt4a#hallelujah smt#megaten#translations#i tried my best typesetting im only accustomed to typesetting manga panels...#zoom in to read 🥲 it sucks that the text ended up so small but i couldn't make it any bigger w/o compromising the contents of the text#ig it does make sense though the text is pretty small even in the og jp script and this wasn't meant to be read digitally
