Watch closely! There was no better spot for the TV in this multipurpose dining room than right in front of the window. Visible from the seating area and the work area of the kitchen. I designed the window seat with a back just deep enough to hold a TV and an hydraulic lift. The tv spends most of its time hidden but when it’s time to watch withe the press of a button it’s in just the right spot for cooking shows or catching up on the news. After and before. This shower and water closet were created from the space in photo 2. I always love to tuck the toilet away to keep a bathroom feeling more spa like and less utilitarian. A water closet also makes a bathroom nicer for sharing. This lucky client doesn’t have to share! It’s all her own. I had wanted to use a slab material the same as the beach on the walls but my client loves the interest of different textures and surfaces so we found these ombréd glass tiles that keep the eyes moving. You can see the reflection of the windows in the @steamtherapy steam shower walls that look out over the woods and the water. A view that can be seen from the shower. The bench seat is made to look like a giant block of stone that services both the inside and the outside of the shower.
