ANYWAYS ARE YALL READY FOR THE FORBIDDEN AUDREY CONTENT

ill be honest with yall she was a real nightmare to redesign HUFDHUFSD

i went through so many potential faces but none of em ever felt right yknow ? the stuff above is her (most likely) finalized design, but im still kinda unsure. thats why ive been hesitant to share.

in a nutshell, i needed her to look sweet, kind, meek and gentle, but underneath it all she’s tired. of skid row, orin, and everything that makes her daily life just a drag to get through. she had to look a bit more complex than just the pretty blonde. 

2nd pic is me finally getting somewhere with the facial design. i was torn between 2 overall head shapes- one that looked like a heart and one that made her hair look like a bouquet of flowers. i went with the heart. it’s hidden, but that was the underlaying structure. (its more evident in the 3rd pic)

3rd pic is me figuring out her costume (equivalent to movie audrey’s “daily” black dress). i still have to design her somewhere thats green outfit btw. back in my summer chara design class, my teacher emphasized the ‘importance’ of her having really tacky clothing, which is one of her standout traits (also according to wikipedia lol). so i tried merging a tacky floral pattern with 3 dress styles. 

1st pic is me putting it all together. again, there’s still a lot to work out. mostly personality wise/how she comes across from first glace.
