It’s not that I hate Sterek, it’s that I hate what fandom and fan service did to them. They had a brilliant relationship development from enemies to trusted allies and maybe almost friends, and then it all got rushed and treated like a potential canon ship and it’s just like? I’m anti purity culture and ship and let ship but no! The 23 year old werewolf is not going to end up with the 16 year old kid that he’s assaulted repeatedly. This is a hit tv show aimed at teens! And the way everyone just decided it was canon and cute and they’re in love was just… so weird?

Because fuck guys, you can like fucked up relationships. You don’t have to pretend it’s healthy. And you can have a healthy au but please stop pretending like it’s canon compliant.
