me? just realising you're a literature hoe like me? iconic honestly ahsgajkhs i finished my english lit and creative writing degree last year and i never thought i'd miss it but damn i do. anyway... the bookshop near where i studied (it's called mr. b's in bath, uk) do a book subscription where you send them some ~vibes~ and they send you a book and mine this month was Who Is Vera Kelly? by Rosalie Knecht and i cannot wait to read it :) - [myonly-hope]

hi plum <3 i'm gonna choose from @spotchka because i wanna talk about this incredible poster set!! like wow, you DID that!! i can't believe i missed this set over the weekend rip. but i'm so glad i'm seeing it now! the color combinations and font choices make this so fun and retro-feeling. it's got to be one of the most creative poster sets i've ever seen. this is why i love appreciation weeks. it really brings out the bangers. if you ever give a class on typography, i will be the first student to sign up. it's a real testament to you as a creator how full yet spacious these posters feel. like you packed a lot of elements in there and left very minimal negative space, but it's not crowded at all. every gif, text, and shape fits in perfectly and purposefully together like a puzzle. i love how you anchored the bright-colored text with more neutral black or cream outlines and drop shadows. and the texture for the background is a subtle touch that brings the whole poster vibe together. the star of the show for me has to be the typography tho. i'm so so obsessed. and lots of people may think typography is just throwing pre-made fonts together, but no no! *wags finger* it's about the ~composition~ and YOU have an eye for that. also "*totally not a spy" i love that ;alskjdfs. thank you for playing, plum <3

11. What is that one set you made that just won’t die

Hummm probably one of my Billy Russo/Ben Barnes gifsets, this one or this one People are thristy for this man lol and with shadow & bone, there's been a renewed interest!

34. A set that took you a long time/was really hard but you’re really proud of how it came out

Definetely my big TCW rainbow colored set, I worked a few days on that one, but absolutely loved doing it! The longest (and most boring) part was chosing which scenes to use and gif, but I loved planning the layout and assembling each big gif.

48. How would you describe your giffing style

I think I'm keeping it pretty simple tbh, but I'm ok with that ^^" Sometimes I try new things with blending, texts, layouts or colorings, but mostly and generally, I make basic gif sets.

Emily! Hello! So I have just learned that you have only been making gifs for a few months and that is honestly the biggest surprise of my week. I had great gifficulty (geddit?) narrowing down my favourites to these. You have the Talent.

HAPPY 46TH BIRTHDAY PEDRO PASCAL - This was one of my favourite gifsets for Pedro’s birthday! I love the use of colour here, how you’ve picked a palette and stuck with it throughout. The text in the second gif is really cool! You’ve also managed to keep the palette going with the coloured gifs as well, no mean feat! It’s all really rather delightful, which brings us to...

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY EWAN MCGREGOR! - This is also just so joyful! The colour palette is extra super pretty and now that I have seen the before and after of the third gif I am even more impressed which I didn’t think was possible. But I just really love this series. I hope you make another one someday.

THE FOREST MOON OF ENDOR / THE FROZEN PLANET OF HOTH / THE DEATH STAR / star wars location series - I don’t know if you remember my tags on the first of these, Endor, but I think it went something along the lines of “this is genius, I can’t believe that you have done this, such a clever idea, oh my gosh, OP I love you” and I stand by that assessment. The Endor set was the first thing of yours I saw and it was fantastic! Every time I saw that you had posted another in your series I would be gushing the tags because these are just so well done. The animation on the Greetings from is cute. The name of the planet where each letter has its own gif (sometimes) or one gif in the whole word is just a great touch. It has so much impact. Then the second part, the address side of the postcard, with the gif attached by paper clip, the custom stamp for each post. Delightful. And the final side on this triple-sided space postcard gives us an extra-large view of the planet with the text and the border the same colour... Wow. I’ve linked the Endor one here because it was the first and so I’m attached, the Hoth one for the very pretty colours and the Death Star one because the black actually works really well here, the pops of colour from the explosion and the spaceship engines look great!

VALERIE KAUR - Now we’re getting down to the nitty-gritty, the gifsets where you really shine - the painful ones. You are so good at pairing quotes with characters or scenes, and then laying them out in gifsets. Teach me your ways please! It’s one thing to have an idea for one of these sets, it’s another entirely to actually pull it off. This is one of your more straightforward examples but no less impactful for it. You’ve coloured your scenes to match very well and you want me to cry, don’t you? Because this is so pretty and I’m hurting.

THE ONLY FIGHT. AGAINST THE DARK SIDE... - (What’s black and white and red all over? This gifset.) In this one I’m not sure where exactly a lot of these shots are from but! The impact of the black and white with the red is fantastic. I love the fonts you’ve chosen and, again, how you have laid the whole thing out. Genius use of colour and gif layering.

Tribute to Obi-Wan Kenobi - (My beloved!) First of all, I love the quote. If this quote fits a character then you can be sure I adore them. You’ve managed to colour all of these different scenes so they all fit together and the layering again is really well done. I love the fonts, the way you have them almost glow in comparison to the more muted colours of the gifs. And this whole set looks and fells so warm like Mustafar Obi-wan’s personality. Very nicely done.

This is incredibly impressive work for only a few months! You, my friend, are going places. You work with text especially gives me life. I look forward to whatever you have in store next!
