Felix Faust

Formerly an acclaimed professor of archaeology, Felix Faust discovered ancient tomes from which he learned to wield dark magic.  He became obsessed with the occult and learning everything he could so to gain greater knowledge and more formidable powers.  In this pursuit, Faust discovered a means of communicating with the ancient greek god, Hades, lord of the underworld.  Hades had been banished to the Pits of Tartarus yet Faust agreed to free him in exchange for ‘ultimate knowledge.’  

Once freed, Hades bestowed unto Faust what he believed was the ultimate knowledge for man, subjecting him to terrible pain and causing him to wither into a decrepit old man.  Wonder Woman and the Justice League were able to defeat Hades and return the god to Tartarus.  Herein Faust was rendered to dust and his soul was dragged down into the pits alongside Hades.  

Some time later, Fasut’s former pupil, Tala, was able to retrieve his essence from Tartarus and supplant it into a magical mirror.  Through this mirror, Faust continued to teach Tala to further hone her skills as a sorceress.  Yet it was a ruse and Faust was merely bidding his time until he could discover a means of freeing himself.  The opportunity finally arrived and Faust’s essence was transported into a magical suit of armor Hades had created known as the Annihilator.  In possession of this armor, Faust was able to take over Tartarus and planned on spending the next thousand years perusing Hades’ personal library.  

Hades being dethroned as the ruler of Tartarus disrupted the balance of magic and threatened all of reality.  As such Wonder Woman was forced to aid her father and she and Hakgirl defeated Faust, reseating Hades as the lord of the pit.  For his trespasses, Hades promised to torture Faust’s soul for all of eternity.  

Actor Robert Englund provided the voice for Felix Faust, with the villain first appearing in the tenth episode of the first season of Justice League, ‘Paradise Lost.’

Quando eu voltar pra parte 2, eu vou desenvolver melhor esse relacionamento, mas vou demorar um pouco pra voltar a desenhar a Legião da Justiça. Vou me focar, no momento, em desenhar tirinhas mais curtas, aleatórias e algumas fanarts que sempre estive adiando. Além de terminar de desenhar as Sailors Moon.
