And I feel this is a message from God that if I don't change then this is how my life will end. and you know, that's something that makes me a little anxious.

And I still remember what changes occurred. and one night I used to hear Islamic motivational words. and one night I remember reading something so beautiful.

They say that " when a man (Muslim) dies his body will be covered with three layers of cloth. But when a woman (Muslim) dies, her body will be covered with five layers of cloth ." 

And what is the moral of the story? because Allah  Subhanahu wa ta'ala  does not want it even on a woman's body yang sudah meninggal, Dimana orang bisa melihat bentuk tubuhnya. 

And also when you die Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala covers your (women) head. and it was said very beautifully, So you don't want it to be the last or the first time you wear the hijab.

And that is something that touches my heart so deeply. You know the next morning I remember I woke up and it was my birthday. and I had previously bought a lot of hijabs, I just bought them. 

Then I remembered I woke up the next morning I immediately put on and wore the hijab. and God willing, I will never let it go again (aammiinn..).

And after that, Sana and her husband had just finished their Hajj pilgrimage. Masha Allah. I hope Sana and her husband will always be steadfast in the path of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala, aamiinn..

Islam always comes beautifully, even though it is from things that humans consider small (trivial), especially in treating every woman, Islam really respects them.

Miracle of Giving Birth

Sabi ng kapatid ko. Interesting daw na topic yung sinapit ko nung panganganak ko kay Zayn. Dahil madami na daw siyang nababasa na mga Blogs and Vlog ng mga nag le-Labor sa Delivery room rants na halos grabe daw yung sinapit nila. Masakit, mangingiyak-ngiyak sila sa loob ng Delivery room. Kaya nagtataka ang kapatid ko at curious bakit ako na wala man lang naramdaman. . 

Kaya dito ko na isusulat lahat.

Madalas magkwento ay ang mama ko. Pero ito yung side ko. Gusto ko sana na mapulotan ng aral ng magbabasa nito ang nangyari bakit binigyan ako ng Allah ng panganganak ng wala man lang naramdaman.

Nagsimula lang naman ang kalbaryo ko...

Nung kinasal ako ng taong 2016. Medyo malungkot din kasi di kami nagkakaanak. Akala ko may deperensya ako. Kaya inisip ko na di na ata tama kaya nagpatingin ako sa doctor. Kasi gustong gusto ko talaga maranasan panu magkaroon ng mumunting anghel. 

Kaya di naging malupet ang tadhana at nalaman namin magasawa ano ang talagang problema. May Cyst ako, sabi ng doctor. Pag di yun matanggal. Lalaki at lalaki iyon na magiging sanhi ng pagtanggal sa Ovary ko. Sa madaling salita, hindi na ako magkakaanak. Mabait naman ang doctor ko. Pinay siya kaya napadali ang transaction ko.

Ang tanging paraan para maalis ang Cyst ay pag ehersisyo. Hindi ako nasawi at nawala yung Cyst o pumutok na siya.

Nabuntis din ako agad. Expected due date ay August 2017. Lahat ay atat, buong family ko. Parang sinigurado na namin na walang masamang mangyayari dahil sa ilang beses na ako nag bleeding pero lagi naman ok si baby sa Ultrasound. Halos gumawa pa kami ng group ng kapatid ko sa fb with expected first pamangkin. But the happy planning turns into my worst nightmare.

Hindi lahat ng ini-expect mo dito sa dunya ay masaya. Babalik din at babalik sa Panginoon(Allah) ang kanya. Walang perpekto dito sa mundo at lahat binibigyan ng pagsubok. 

Tatlong rason:

Trabaho- Mahabang hagdanan, sa 3rd floor kami nakatira. Tarantandong driver dahil 10 hours nga kami sa trabaho. 1 hour kami sinusundo at kung magmaneho ang sudan namin driver eh parang nakikipag karerahan. Para siyang walang sakay sakay na buntis. Kahit ilang beses pagsabihan. Atat umuwi kaya parang naka-too fast too furious lagi ang sasakyan kaya 12 hours lahat ang oras ko sa office. Buong araw nakaupo. Puro stress kasi dami din trabaho.

Verbal Stress- May mga bagay na kailan din limitahan. Dapat kung may mahal ka sa buhay at buntis siya. Matuto kang wag muna sugorin o atakihin ang tao  sa pamamagitan ng dila. Kasi minsan nakakamatay din ang dila. Kaya madaming nagsu-suicide o nagkakaroon ng sakit ng depression dahil sa nakakaapekto minsan ang dila ng isang tao o ang tinatawag na Emotional Torture. Pag buntis, hindi yan iisang tao kundi dalawang tao ang pwedeng mawala.

Careless Hospital- Isa pa ito. Yung doctor ko, nakukunbensi ng magulang ko na lahat ng nangyayari sa akin ay NORMAL gaya na lang ng pananakit ng tyan at bleeding. Kung ano ang nararamdaman ng pasyente mo, yun ang paniwalaan mo. Hindi yung kung ano sinasabi ng magulang niya. Dahil hindi naman katawan ng magulang niya ang katawan niya na sila nakakaramdam. Irresponsableng doctor! Kaya nung sa ER or Emergency Room. Ang tagal din niyang dumating kasi akala siguro niya nagkukunwari nanaman yung pasyente ng bleeding. Problema kasi na masyadong close ang doctor sa magulang kaya naniniwala na agad lalo na pag pinoy sa pinoy. Tapos isama pa ang tangang Indian Nurse na isaksak ang Vaginal Supository sa mismong pwetan na kinasanhi ng pagsabog ng panubigan.

Pero lahat nun, Na sabr ko...

Naalala ko pa yung isang araw bago ako makunan. Pumunta ako sa KFC dahil grad ng pamangkin ko. Nagpicture picture tapos ang dami humahawak sa tyan ko. Last hours din bago ako makunan, yung mga hajj din humahawak sa tyan ko. May mga signs. Ang pinakamasakit, yung halos nagpapanggap kang wala ka nararamdaman. yung nagpapanggap ka na masaya sa harap ng mga hajj kahit sakit na sakit ka na. yung kahit masakit, pinapagalitan ka pa rin kasi wag ipakita nasasaktan ang katawan mo kasi act daw yun ng immaturity at bawal kumilos ng ganun kasi nakakahiya sa in-laws. Na-sabr ko yun lahat.

Noong nawala ang first baby ko. Iniwan ako ng magulang ko after 2 months kasi nagbakasyon sila sa pilipinas. Inuwi din nila ang mga alaga kong pusa na tangi kong karamay tuwing umiiyak ako. Ako lang mag isa sa bahay dahil nagtatrabaho ang asawa ko. Dumating naman ang mga pamangkin ko, pero last complete family hours nila iyon dahil uuwi din sila sa pilipinas at final exit kaya matutunghayan ko nanaman ang kalungkotan bumabalot sa kanila na mas lalo nagdadagdag sa aking kasawian.

Hanggang sa may nanganak na buntis during marawi seige at ramadhan pa. Sinabihan ako ng pinsan ko na magbigay kahit kunting sadqah. Nagbigay ako ng 100+ riyals at hindi ko na iyon pinaalam sa mga magulang ko kasi sasabihin nila ay tanga ako at nagbibigay ng pera ng ganun ganun lang. Pero worth it ang sadqah ko dahila maganda ang kahihinatnan dahil sobrang nagpapasalamat iyong bagong panganak na babaeng apektado ng marawi seige dahil walang wala na talaga sila. 

I forgive. Lahat ng iyon ay tiniis ko kaya may barakah ang Allah na hindi ako nakaramdam ni singko ng manganak ako. Kaya ang Allah lang ang pinakamakapangyarihan sa lahat. Walang hihigit sa kanya. Iyon ang sekreto.

15 Things You May Not Know About ... HH's Naseeb Mohammed, Production Manager!

You often hear about (on our vlogs) Melanie and Ahmed visiting our Dubai factory, where your favorite Haute Hijabs are produced, sewn and inspected by a fantastic team led by Production Facility Manager Naseeb Mohammed. Naseeb is an integral part of the HH team and one of those people you don't hear much about (as he is in Dubai, not New York), but whose work is vital to bringing you all the high-quality, beautiful hijabs you've come to know and love!

Naseeb, who has been with HH for more than eight years, takes great pride in his work managing the Dubai factory and making sure every hijab that leaves there is in perfect form and up to HH's high standards. He is also a big fan of fishing (both shore and deep sea), a doting father of two cute sons and an avid motorbiker! Get to know Naseeb as he answers 15 fun (and a few deep) questions in our ongoing summer (now fall) team-focused series – "15 Things You May Not Know About ... "

1. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

In the winter, I love taking a drive with my wife and kids to any nearest beach resort and spending some time with my sons in a swimming pool. In the summer, I enjoy playing soccer in indoor sports stadium.

2. What are your hobbies? What are your dream hobbies?

Fishing, both shore fishing and deep sea. This won’t happen often, but whenever we get a long holiday, we will go for shore fishing. Or, we hire a boat and go for deep sea fishing. Other than fishing, I like long motorbike rides. A dream hobby for me is skydiving. You will know why when you read my answer to question #9! My other dream hobby or dream trip I am recently thinking about is to live in an Indian village for a week without any sort of modern technology.

3. What is something you hate doing?

On the top of my list is going shopping in a very crowded place.

4. If you could eat something on an endless loop, what would it be?

Homemade South Indian food.

5. What feeds your soul/when are you at your happiest/best?

A motorcycle ride from my hometown in India to the nearest hill station, which is 100 km away. I think I did that hundreds of times until I moved to Dubai, but still that’s something I like to do again and again.

6. Who do you look up to the most and why? (living or dead)

My grandfather and uncle. Both of them inspired me a lot in my childhood, and they are no more. May their souls rest in peace.

7. If you could go back and change something in your life, what would it be?

I never thought or worry about my past a lot! Only positive thing here is to learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them again.

8. What is your biggest challenge in life?

This varies from time to time, but two major ones are to bring some fitness activities to my daily routine and control my eating habits.

9. What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I have a fear of flying! Referring back to question #2, I would like to conquer this with skydiving some day!

10. What is that big dream thing you want to accomplish in life? Or if not one thing, a few things?

There are many, but mainly to perform Hajj with my whole family together, Insha’Allah. Also, to be a part of a motorcycle club and tour across all states of India (29 states). On an average, it will take 30 days to accomplish this.

11. For the Muslims at Haute Hijab – what is your favorite or not-so-favorite thing about working at a Muslim-owned company?

I live and work in Muslim country, and I also work at a Muslim-owned company and am so proud of it. For the last eight years I have been working with Melanie and Ahmed. They both are wonderful people who supported me a lot to achieve whatever I am now. My favorite thing is everything! But, especially the support I receive.

12. What does a typical Friday night look like for you?

Actually, it should be a Thursday night for me, as I live and work in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and our weekend is Friday and Saturday. Mostly all the weekends are about meeting friends and having dinners together.

13. What’s the strangest or most fun family tradition you have?

My mother and father live in my hometown in India. During winter, they will visit me here in the UAE and spend a few weeks with me and my family. So while we don’t have any particular ritual or tradition, this annual visit from my parents is always a fun time for me and my sons to spend time with my father and mother.

14. Cat person or dog person (or some other kind of animal)?

I am typically not a pet person. But here I have to choose cats, as they are quite common in Dubai.

15. If you were to create a slogan for your life, what would it be and why?

Live a simple, faithful life, and be good to everyone around you!
