Unrequited Love ♡ HinaKoma
Nagito was no stranger to one-sided love, not that he had ever been in an actual relationship before but he wasn’t exactly popular, very much the opposite. Everyone in his class seemed to hate him so he assumed that could be considered a ‘one-sided relationship’. If he was being honest with himself, that was one of the things he was terrified of; he was terrified of dying alone. He didn’t mind the bad luck that came with his life, he just wanted everyone to feel hope and be happy, if that meant he had to get hurt, he was fine with it. He let out a soft sigh as he began to walk towards the center of the park, Hajime and Chiaki had invited him to play video games and he didn’t want to disappoint his only friends. However, maybe he shouldn’t have agreed. When he arrived at the park, there was Chiaki and Hajime. Kissing. He couldn’t help but stare as the boy he loved smiled and continued to give Chiaki affectionate kisses.
“... Hinata-kun.” He greeted as best as he could, smiling as his heart shattered. He would continue to smile, no matter how much agony his chest was in. This was for the best. Chiaki wasn’t sick like him, Chiaki was going to live. His time was running out. He would gladly spend his lasting days supporting the two of them, he wouldn’t be missed much anyway. That was his curse.

I rewrote this so it's a bit longer:
---
The day started like any other, Nagito was lying on the field in the grounds of Hope’s Peak academy. He usually spent his days staring up at the sky, trying to collect his scattered thoughts. At this current moment, he was trying to gather the words to explain how he was feeling. He was a stranger to the word ‘love’, never quite expressing it like normal people would. He was different in the worst way. Did he ‘love’ Hajime? Or did he just admire the hope he had? It was pointless of him to ask his classmates since that usually resulted in them laughing at him and calling him a freak or a weirdo, he never understood why, or how, he was such things, they never explained why and it was starting to upset him. He was dragged from his daze when a shadow loomed over him.
“Oh… Hinata-kun, good morning.” He greeted, a small smile appearing on his face as he looked up at him, his eyes following him as the boy sat down next to him.
“Good morning, Komaeda, I actually came to ask you for some advice.” Hajime said, leaning back on his hands as he looked at Nagito, their eyes locking.
“Oh? Well, I’m not sure how helpful I’ll be but please, go ahead.”
“Do you think I should ask Chiaki out?”
Those words shot through his chest like a bullet, leaving him with his mouth agape but he was quick to act.
“A-ah… Nanami-chan?” He choked out and smiled at him, nodding his head, ignoring how much his chest ached. “If she makes you happy I think you should go for it.” He added.
“Thanks, Komaeda. You’re really great, you know that?” Hajime grinned, pulling himself up and like that, ran off.
Nagito now sat on the field, alone and in agony. He wrapped his arms around his legs and felt tears roll down his cheeks, a smile still on his face. He was a fool. A fool for thinking Hajime liked him that much. A fool for falling in love when he knew his time was running out. A fool for being too kind to the only person who showed him kindness and respect.
“... Hinata-kun… I love you…”
