I feel like he enjoys twirling his hair/scarf a lot. Along with those pop-it toys. I feel like he'd love those things to death. Honestly I think he enjoys using a lot of stim toys? Like slime, fidget cubes, all of those. Maybe because he would get yelled at by his mother for stimming with his hands or rocking back in forth or what have you, so he does those considerably less.

Those are just my hcs, though :]

Oh I think Nonbinary Haiyu is lovely. He's 'canonically cis' in the way he's 'canonically neurotypical'. I simply don't buy it.

My character growth has been accepting Aromantic Haiyu as canon. No more shipping Mamoru and Haiyu because I feel obligated to. (Though even without thinking Haiyu is aromantic, I've grown out of it.)

I still think the two of them can be friends though :]

i'm re-reading wtcd with my boyfriend and we're both discussing how bpd and npd coded haiyu is, like. there's no way that /wasnt/ intentional??? haiyu literally calls mamoru his "favorite person" once and shows so, so many signs of bpd! according to my boyfriend, who has npd, he also shows so many signs of that! its also pretty arguable that he's autistic coded, though that is a bit more of a stretch

Exactly! I swear, in the server they literally called him a narcissist, while at the same time Soda was writing up their apology (Which is why I simply don't accept it, by the way. I was watching them attack the people against them as it was being written.) and also using it in a negative connotation.

While I don't have NPD myself, it is extremely disheartening that they would use it on a character they hated, as it's already extremely stigmatized.

Same with BPD, while reading the fangan I couldn't help but notice the obvious coding going on? It's just disappointing to see how hard they try to vilanaize this character, when he's the character I related to most in the cast.

Thinking about those scenes in movies where the ‘Popular girl(s)’ do a makeover for the ‘Unpopular girl’ and all they do is take off their glasses and such. 

That but it’s Haiyu as the popular person but instead of giving the unpopular person a makeover he just does one for himself. He tells them that they’ll “Never look as good as he does, so there’s no point dressing up”. 

Which is his roundabout way of saying they look fine they way they are. Just a random thought of sorts.

Exactly! They even point it out in the story itself that the two relationships "need work" (which is putting it lightly). So if Soda thinks those two can be reformed, why can't Haiyu? The double standards are maddening.

honestly like this blog a lot. to be frank i have my own complaint, as my friend has explained a lot about how aro-coded haiyu is; and the fact mod soda i believe stated that headcanoning haiyu as aro was "villainizing aro people", yet ena, the mastermind, is aro and said "im a monster, i can't feel love anyways"? something along those lines, and that somehow isn't villainzation of aro people? but hcing haiyu as such is? the arophobia in the fangan is mega frustrating. i can elaborate if wanted

Completely agree! The double standards and attacking of Haiyu continue to be insane. I would love to hear your elaboration though- specifically on how Haiyu has been Aro-coded? I don't disbelieve it, I'd just like more info :] Or whatever you would like to give more explanation to! I like hearing my followers speak.

Okay, okay. So, am I the only one who finds it weird that Haiyu, the most ND coded character, is disallowed from being seen/headcannoned from being ND? Not only that, Soda made him cis as if that's a "bad" thing almost. Soda seems to think that the more "opressed" per say the character is, the better/more likable they will become. Like, how somehow there's not a single cishet in the fangan. It rubs me certainly wrong, as if they're trying to make it more "special" by only having ND LGBT POCs

No I agree completely. While I feel like having your cast be all LGBT and everything else is fine, it's the I guess 'demonetization' of certain traits that kind of irks me. And you can just tell the fangan was made simply to have representation. Rep for reps sake is.. fine, in the abstract. But when you get into it, it falls apart, because now your story is lackluster, and the character's don't even represent what they're supposed to be representing all that well. Half the time it feels like wtcd solely exists to shit on Haiyu. Because it definitely isn't about Ena. And it's not about Hajime. It's not even about Kitsune. The only real thing holding it all together is how much these characters hate Haiyu, for no reason in particular.

I also find it humorous that literally any time someone makes a hc post about Haiyu, they'll make a server announcement saying "Hey guys, don't hc Haiyu as this :) if you do your a monster and we'll mass report you!"
