In Wolfs World there is no "Magic" or supernatural elements: All of those elements are explained by Asgardian technology and people tampering with that technology. So how does Nikolaus of Colognes Story fits into it? The Original Myth of Nikolaus is like the Herrmann Mythos probably a historic happening (The peregrinatio puerorum) that had been caused by a lot of different people, yet those people had been molten into one character. Like Herrmann of the Cheruski was probably not one figure but many who lived through the Varusbattle and were molten together in one character (for propaganda reasons by the Nazis and) to make the historic event more epic and easier to remember. Accordingly there had never been one Nikolaus of Cologne, but many living through the peregrinatio puerorum. Its even more obvious for the peregrinatio puerorum, because there were two: The german one lead by Nikolaus of Cologne and the one of france lead by Stephen Ethienne of Cloyes, so there were probably molten together a lot of different people in these two boys together with a lot of different groups of people making a pilgimages on different times to Jerusalem to "take is back peacefully". The mythos of Nikolaus of Cologne is like this: Nikolaus is a young sheperd living in the area around Cologne (Area of Nordrhein Westphalen). One day he has a dream about an Angel telling him that he should gather other children who shall march to Jerusalem and peacefully take over Jerusalem. So Nikolaus takes on the Tau-cross as his symbol, sews it on is clothes, gathers other children (although historically the pueri were probably teenagers who couldn´t find work and even more often beggers, because Pueri does not directly translates to "children" but "servant" /"Farmhand") and shortly after eastern of 1212 he embrakes on the Journey to Genua in Italy where the Angel said the ocean should sepperate before him so he and his followers would travel through the mediterrane sea with dry feet. This miracle never happned, from 30.000 followers 7000 of Nikolaus followers reached Genua. The others died crossing the alps, others half was sold into slavery as they were in a foreign land without any family and easy victims. Nikolaus travels to Rome to be freed of his not even by the pope blessed crusader-duty. Then he travels back to Cologne and dies while crossing the alps. Back in Germany Nikolaus Father is hunted down and hanged by the families of the other members of the peregrinatio puerorum for killing their chidren. None of the Pueri ever reachs Jerusalem.

So how can this story fits into the "only sci-fi technology"-part of Wolfs story? In Wolfs story there is most prominently the "Signal" a distress call from a Asgardian who had crashlanded a few thausand years ago in italy and whos ship is buried under the earth. The signal can not be caught by Baldur, but it causes the people in Pisa and the area around it to always "seek out" , "move forward" and "help". Which obviously, depending on the person, can be interpreted in many different ways. Nikolaus himself is the son of a sheperd and a forestwoman: In other words a asgardian woman visited earth for a few hundres years, had a vacation in the forests around Cologne, met Nikolaus father, had a child and eventually left when she was too bored after a vacation of a few hundred years. Nikolaus therefor is especially "keen" to hearing the signal even if the source of that signal was countries away. However Nikolaus is also a child of his time, so he interprets the signal to "seek out", "move forward" and "help" as a message given to him by the angels he believes in. So his "visions" and the "calling" he feels did happned, but they were definitive not godly or devine. This "calling" also continutes in his adult years,aes the Nikolaus of Wolfs story survives. In his case he finds shelter in a cloister in rome to become a monk and even renames himself Martin because St.Martin is the personification of a good monk and he wants to be that. But he can´t let go of his "calling". In the coming ten years he starts thinking that the reason the miracle of Genua did not happned was because his followers were not pure enough and had sinned and that if he makes sure that those followers are nolonger there, if he "puts it back on zero", then the miracle would eventually happen. So he becomes this worlds mysterio and tries to murder every of the few left followers to "set everyhing on zero". Fourteen years later, by the time Wolfs regular story happens, Nikolaus/ Martin had already been hunting down his former surviving followers who had managed to build up themself a life in countries that they had been stranded in, for four years in different cities set around the mediterrane sea.

I love nailpolish, mostly because my nails are brittle and so I keep them short and harden them with polish. Works well and looks epic.

I started writing when I was in 5th grade with a girl in a higher grade. We would have a Collegeblock on which we write the replys. In the morning the one who wrote the last reply would give that collageblock to the other and in the next big break between lessons the other would give the collageblock with their next reply back. The one who had to write the next reply would take the collageblock home to write the reply for the next morning. When I remember right it was that time about ATLA-OCs? Thinking about it, isn´t that actually adorable?!

I love cooking and baking! My heart belongs to preparing Quiches, pies and cakes!

Healers and Fighters. Usually there is a theme I can research on and then write with that in the background that character to round them up as a character. Before Ziv that was early medieval age in the Area of Schleswig Holstein and Denmark with a special Focus on the daily Life around Haitabu. For Ziv it would be preperation of Herbs and their historical usage in Medicine. Points to me that I had before read a lot about Hildegard von Bingen and still have a load of books about her from when i had studied History.

FLUFF:   Fluff is nice, but there has to be an little plot or I will turn bored.

ANGST: Angst is the best to write and I especially adore the Plot and Action going on before or during that theme!

SMUT:   I usually read what I write and smut and erotica never did anything for me nor was the writing beautiful enough that I enjoyed it for the writingstyle. So no, smut is not mine to write. I however enjoy writing nsfw headcanons about Muses and their relationships! Also dirty humor is the best humor!

PLOT / MEMES:    Both can be fun But usually I always intend to have a vague storyline when answering memes.

The museum is really interesting and worth visiting and they have a lot of good publications. Also Schleswig (Silaswich) is a nice little town worth visiting.

Your Muse as a child Interview !

Did they believe in Santa?: Wolf does not belive in Santa because the Santa folklore does not exist yet in the time she is living in. She however does even as an adult believe in the Twelfth Night as a time to stay indoors, hang Evergreens on your doors to ward of bad spirits and keep young children inside and protected so they are not stolen by the little Folk. Its also a time to make many predictions for the coming year and Wolf usually parties very hard in that time. She had thrown so many applepeels over her back to predict the first letter of her future love their name is by now ASDFGHJKLOOOOLK. However, obviously the twelfth night are scary for children and a lot of fun for adults and as Wolf is nearing her 30thies she is seeing it more as a time to just let off steam.

Were they a dinosaur or rock kid?: Wolf was and still is a  Tree kid. Wolfs father Wolfgang was originally from Haitabu and the son of a Varangian Guard (Ulfa Frekisdottir, Wolfs universe Karven the Hunter), so he grew up in a melting pot of early christianity and still very dominant paganism. Wolfgang had (still has) a Trollbag with bones in which runes were carved in and when he needed to make a decision, he would throw the runes and lay himself a celtic cross to asist in his decision. He did that for Henning and Wolfgund, because the children were curious about what he was doing.  Wolfgang teached Wolf about the Tree Horoscope and what wood should be used for what usage (yew tree for the bow and arrows because the yew tree is the rune for I and death and bow in the elder futhark and marking the spot where the arrow is set on the bow is always also the Eiwaz rune so when a arrow is shot it means “I send death to you”.)  when he would take the children along on hunts. Till today Wolf knows the elder Futhark and can give another person the exact meaning of the trees growing around them (along with the medical usage like cooking birk-bark to produce a painkilliers or use the same bark as antibacterial bandages for injuries).

Bugs or slimy critters?: Wolfgang had teached Wolf a lot about the Ecosystem of the forest as it was his task as a Kings main Hunter to take care of the forest for when that King arrive with his court for a hunting-party. The more detailorientated teachings of Asada in healingherbs and later by the nuns in the convent, made Wolf even more fond of bugs. Wolfgang usually collected rainworms and threw them into his houses garden and Wolf, taken along by her father, still does the same. She is not fond of bugs indoors, so she will usually catch them and throw them out of a window.

Do they fidget? How?: Wolf has the habit to scratch the poxscars on her cheek when she is bored or uncomfortable. It is a not especially healthy habit because the scarpattern is sensetive and usually Wolf irritates them into redness. When she is not in active battle Wolf will take out the wooden handspindle and a small oundle of sheepwool out of her beltbag spinn a theard while she is talking with another person, reading something, eating or just standing or sitting around. This usually sooths her urge to fidget.

What were they frequently in trouble for as a child?: In general Wolf was a pretty sweet child that was liked by everyone. It was a common occourence for Noblemen accompanying their King on a hunting party and who missed their family that was not part of the wander kings court, to take Wolf up on their arms and carry her around or sit with her to play because they missed their children so much and they could feel like father with her.It helped that she was a especially cute little girl. This is also the reason why Wolf learned so well to read and write (especially latin) in a still very oral-orientated society, because those noblemen would sit with her sitting on their knees and teach her patiently. The only thing she would got in trouble for is walking inside without taking off her shoes or comign to the table to eat without washing her hands or feeding her fathers hutning-sogs under the table and thats a vry normal thing to do.

What underwear do they like?: Baggy, kneelong linenetrousers held up with a clothbelt to which leglings are knotted to. Wolfs underwear are braies as a woman of the early 13th century and her underwear frequently wins the trophy of  “most unsexy underwear of the world”.  She will obviously wear dark dyed loincloth when she is on her period because she does not want to wash the blood out of her whitish braises, but thats the closest thing to snugly to the body laying pantys she wears and that is only happening for a week every month.

Designs on clothing or no?: Clothes are in Wolfs time a way to show ones standing in society and a lot of “average people” use colours and designs to pretend beeing a lot of better well off than they actually are. Wolf is no exception. She had sewed sweetwater pearls on the embroidery on her wedding dress / her formal wear and she had carefully embroidered the sides of her cloak and the sleeves of her every-day dress. The spider on her tabbard for her spiderman costume is also something she had embroidered herself.

Birthmarks?: If Wolf has any birthmark they have disappeared under her Poxscars.

Do they have good self control?: Every second of Wolf interacting with other people is a sign of her slf control. She  is incredible strong and can easily break a arm by just grabbing it a tad to hard, so her interacting with people is her permanently holding backwith an iron will at every second and every breath. Eepecially when in combat because her first instinct in combat is hacking someones head off and since that had not happned in over a decade, she is doing suprisingly well.

Favorite franchise?: Wolf is a very big fan of Walter von der Vogelweide.She thinks the bard is hilarious and loves his dirty humor.

Do they re-enact scenarios in the shower?: No, Wolf usually plays the equivalent of elevator music in her head when bathing or weaving. She i happy when she has for once quitnss and peace.

Do they tell the waiter that their order is wrong?: No, Wolf would never do that. As someone who is still always worried about food, she is just always happy to have food and drink and will be happy about whatever is served her. Shes just very happy to be served food in general and will enojoy it. Even if its the wrong order Wolf will beam happy like a child when food is set infront of her and he would be very thankful fo the waiter for beeing so kind to her, even if its just their job.

Stairs or elevator?: The only elevators Wolf knows are used for building buildings and she does not trust them very much with people.

Are they an exaggerator when telling stories?: Wolf is specifically talking and telling stories in a very exaggerated way. Her mother Felina (Wolfs versions Black cat) teached her the trickery of thiefery and one of the rules was: Either be not seen when emptying another persons pockets or be seen and lead all attention to your face so noone understands what your hands are doing. Wolf usually puts up a very swarmy and loud front , to lead peoples attention to herself so that they underestimate her and eventually also ignore her because they think they know what she is doing and what she is like basedon that front. Noone notices what Wolfs hands are doing or that she is using them focusing on her putting on a show, while she is actually analysing their physical health, their weakspots, the area around them constantly. Wolf seems very friendly and easy going but she is also very cunning and its not often noticed.

Two Aliens: There are two Asgardians who have roles in Wolfs story. Around 1600 BC a Asgardian scientist crash-landed in nowdays Italy and his ship was burried under what is in Wolfs time one of the many green hills surrounding Pisa. Huginns crashlanding also caused the Minoan eruption in Wolfs world. Huginn, after all a Asgardian so time is not especially important for him, upon realizing that he could not free himself out of his ship, set up a distress signal and sat down to wait. Disorted by the earth above him, Huginns distress signal is not caught by Baldur in Asgard, but the signal is caught by the people living in the area around the ship. And like Huginns name (=thought) the signal starts to influence the thoughts and also actions of the people around the ship. There is a inherent urge to "seek out", "move" "help", and "find", which is obviously just in the nature of the scientists and merchants in a greatly flourishing trading-city, but for the people in Pisa it becomes in some extreme cases even a madness (Although it is always up to the individuum what they would consider "help" or what to "seek out"). This might be the cause for some of the especially unhinged Alchemists or it is just a excuse they would use to justify their science without morals. Even if it is not, the technology the alchemists have discovered and use are all pieces from Huginns ship that the scientists experiment with which also allowes some of them to create the flesh-constructs in which different animals are molten together. It is a plotpoint (or the final of Wolf storyline with the alchemists) that the peoples urge to "seek out, "find", "help", "move" causes a small group of the alchemisst to dig into the earth and dig up Huginns ship eventually because they think that they would find something like a holy grail of knowledge when in truth its just a random asgardian who indeed is a scientist, but has no interests in actually teaching any of the earthlings and just really wants to get out into the sun after over 2000 years stuck under the earth, bored playing tetris, without any other person . In Animal Fables the Raven is named "Pflückbeutel" and his features are: Beeing a know-it-all, beeing arrogant (occasionally arrogant until stupidity) and being thievish. Beeing a know-it-all and arrogant are features that do fit Huginn as a raven-person in this story.

The other Asgardian has not a big role and is simpy a pun= Wolfs paternal grandmother (Her world original Karven the Hunter who had died before the story started when fighting a lion in egypt) is Ulfa Frekisdottir (Because the current women taking Kraven the Hunters Place both carry the matronym Ulfasdottir as her daughters and Wolfs father Wolfgang has Ulfasson). Ulfa is just a name based on the world Ulf (Wolf),so Ulfa is a name meaning She-Wolf. Freki (with the dottir showing that Freki was Ulfas father) is the name of one of Wotans Wolfs and means 'The voracious'. So Ulfa Frekisdottir is just a stupid pun: Wolf Wolfsdaughter (Or Wolf Ravenous-wolf-daughter, if one wants to go word by word). Accordingly Freki, probably a Wolf themed Asgardian, visited earth specifically Haitabu on earth for some beer, rolled around in the hay and then returned to Asgard after having a nice weekend and now has no idea or interest in the fact that he is the greatgrandfather or the medieval spiderman. He fucked himself into the story and he fucked himself out, literally, without leaving anything behind but a pun of a familyname. It has of course a historical background for Haitabu had been destroyed in 1066 by the Westslavs and the Tradingcentrum had been put on the other side of the Schlei which is nowdays the town Schleswig. The destruction of Haitabu is noted as the end of the "Vikingtime". So roughly around 100 years later (around 1150) Freki visited what he probably remembered as Haitabu, only to find that he is as a immortal literally 100 years too late to the party (only a blink of an eye in his time) and the settlement is given up on, so he went on the other side of the bay and looked if he could have fun in the new settlement that is and would be Schleswig. Which he obviously had.
