In this article, we’ll explore what makes a Barber Shop Los Angeles special, from classic styles to modern cuts. We’ll also highlight popular services like beard trims, buzz cuts, and general haircut services that have made Los Angeles a go-to destination for men’s grooming.
Why Choose a Barber Shop Los Angeles
A Space for Personalized Grooming
One of the key features that sets a Barber Shop Los Angeles apart is the level of personalization in the services provided. Unlike large, commercial salons, a Barber Shop Los Angeles often focuses on providing individualized experiences for its clients. Barbers take the time to understand your preferences, your hair type, and your desired outcome. Whether you're looking for a fresh Mens Haircut Los Angeles, a trendy beard trim, or a classic buzz cut, the expert barbers are trained to tailor each service to your specific needs.
The vibe in these barbershops is relaxed and welcoming, offering clients the chance to unwind while receiving top-notch grooming services. These shops are not just about getting a haircut—they are about creating an experience where men can feel at ease, chat with the barber, and leave with a new look that fits their personality.
Expertise in Mens Haircut Los Angeles
When it comes to Mens Haircut Los Angeles, the barbers in LA are highly skilled in a variety of cutting styles and techniques. Whether you're looking for a sleek, professional cut for the office or a trendy, more casual look for the weekend, a Barber Shop Los Angeles is equipped to deliver.
Many barbers in Los Angeles specialize in modern cuts like fades, pompadours, undercuts, and textured top cuts. But the skill of a true barber goes beyond just following the latest trends. A Mens Haircut Los Angeles is all about finding the right style that fits your face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle. A skilled barber will not only execute the cut but also offer advice on how to maintain it in between visits, making it easy to keep your look sharp at all times.
Popular Services at Barber Shop Los Angeles
Beard Trim: Defining Your Facial Hair
A well-groomed beard is a statement, and the Barber Shop Los Angeles knows exactly how to help men maintain and enhance their facial hair. Whether you're sporting a full beard, a goatee, or a neatly trimmed stubble, the beard trim is an essential grooming service for many men.
At a Barber Shop Los Angeles, the beard trim is executed with precision. Barbers are equipped with the right tools to trim, shape, and style your beard to complement your face shape and desired look. They take into account the thickness, length, and shape of your beard to ensure it looks neat, defined, and flattering. Regular beard trims not only keep your facial hair looking sharp but also promote healthier growth by preventing split ends and encouraging proper maintenance.
A Beard Trim is often paired with other services like a haircut service or a scalp massage to give you the complete grooming experience. With the right attention to detail, your beard can be a defining feature that enhances your overall style.
Haircut Service: Classic and Modern Styles
The heart of any Barber Shop Los Angeles is its haircut service. From classic cuts to trendy styles, a haircut service in Los Angeles is more than just a quick trim—it’s an opportunity to revamp your look with the skill and precision of a professional barber.
One of the most popular services in a Barber Shop Los Angeles is the fade, a style that blends short sides with a longer top for a smooth transition. Fades come in various styles—high, low, and mid fade—and are customizable to suit your preferences. The ability to choose from different fade types makes this haircut service versatile, allowing for both clean, professional looks and more casual, edgy styles.
Another common service is the pompadour, which features voluminous hair on top with shorter sides. This classic cut has been revamped with modern twists, making it a favorite for men seeking a bold yet sophisticated look. The Barber Shop Los Angeles excels at these classic styles while keeping them fresh and in tune with contemporary trends.

Buzz Cut: Simplicity with Style
For many men, the buzz cut is the go-to style. It’s simple, sleek, and easy to maintain, making it a popular choice for men with busy lifestyles. A buzz cut involves trimming the hair to an even, short length using clippers, providing a clean and no-fuss look.
A Barber Shop Los Angeles takes the buzz cut to the next level by ensuring it’s done with precision. The key to a great buzz cut is evenness, and professional barbers are trained to create a uniform length all around the head, with clean lines and sharp edges. For those looking for a more customized buzz cut, barbers can tailor the length to suit your face shape and personal style.
The buzz cut is also versatile in that it can be combined with other elements, such as a fade or line design, to make it more distinctive. It’s a low-maintenance yet stylish option that can work for many men, from professionals to athletes.
Why Choose a Barber Shop Los Angeles

Phenix Salon
From her early roots of sweeping hair from the floors of her parent’s salon, Gina attended beauty school and later moved to a booth renter salon where she quickly established a winning reputation. Clients loved her as she never let anyone leave without feeling amazing. And, the staff adored her because she was so open about sharing her knowledge and offering support where needed.
Tumblr media
Based on her learnings behind the chair, Gina realized not all salons are created equal and a majority of booth renters are provided very little support to ensure their success. With a passion for the industry, Gina became a fierce advocate for supporting the goals of Lifestyle Professionals who had the desire to operate their own salons but perhaps lacked the financial resources. Gina realized that she had the opportunity to redefine the options available for sole proprietors in the beauty industry. With this, Phenix Salon Suites was born, establishing a new experience and opportunity for Lifestyle Professionals to own and operate a business at a fraction of the cost of traditional salon settings.

MODELING INTO THE MOVIES
August 8, 1936
Tumblr media
By Jeannette Meehan, HOLLYWOOD
From the women’s angle, there are simply too many gorgeous newcomers in Hollywood. That fact is plain.
From the gentlemen’s angle, Hollywood is pleasantly crowded with the most alluring bits of femininity ever to delight the bald-headed row. This fact is even plainer. Oh, say it isn’t so, but there a new day dawning in the west for the Stage Door Johnnies.
Whence comes this influx of Eves? Who are these girls of such attractive physical make-up?
Well, sir, most of them are ex-models.
The highway and by-ways to Moviedom are past counting. Those most traveled have been the extra route, the beauty contest route or the I-have-a-relative route. Yesterday our newcomers were night club crooners, radio personalities and million-dollar heiresses. Today the majority of candidates for stardom are no longer being recruited from these avenues. It now quite obvious that any girl who has been a model approaches the casting office with an asset that permits her to pass up the waiting list.
Oh, phooey, what’s a model got that the others haven’t?
Well, when Radio Picture wanted five beauties for the fashion show sequence in “Roberta” they tested 30 girls, and then sent out an S.O.S. to the ranks of professional models. That was a year ago. Those five models so delighted the camera that they’re still under contract. (1)
Tumblr media
Just a few months ago, when M-G-M went scouting for 22 modern Venuses for “The Great Ziegfeld”, they discovered that the ex-models had a lot more poise and personality than the kids who were merely movie struck. Eighteen of those 22 “Ziegfeld Girls” were former models. Fourteen of the 18 were given contracts. You just can’t argue with “figures” like that, or should I say with “figures like theirs"? (2)
“Model your way to the movies” isn’t just a catchy phrase. Models come to Hollywood already equipped with the elementary essentials which studios spend a great deal of time and money trying to hammer into inexperienced youngsters. Models have already served their apprenticeship to the art of carriage, grace and charm. They’ve already passed a certain type of beauty contest. The girl whose picture helps to sell beauty preparations has to have a face that leads you to believe that the product is worth trying. A pair of silk stockings modeled on muscle-bound or "spindle” legs would scarcely lure you to the hosiery department.
You never see a good model stumble over her train. She remains regal and sure-footed in the most confusing draperies.
Figuratively speaking, these girls are above reproach. Most fashion houses require that their models be above medium height, broad through the shoulders, slim through the hips, and that their proportions be symmetrically arranged. Thus, they’ve long since graduated from the routine of diets, masseurs, and classes for corrective posture that faces tire average beginner.
In other words, movie producers are finding out that modeling is a natural complement to screen work. Film executives are discovering that the girls who come to them from portrait and artists studios and from fashion salons are far ahead of those who approach Hollywood's pot of gold with no training.
Not only that, but these ex-models seem to be well-mannered, well-educated girls whose off-screen poise and chic rivals that of their screen betters.
Tumblr media
Oh, dear are they gorgeous? They're enough to make us ordinary girls forget to look before we leap. Just for instance, take Pauline Craig [above] (3), an auburn-haired, statuesque beauty from Cleveland, O. She’s five feet six and one-half inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, and has a figure that only Jean Harlow (4) could be unconcerned about.
Miss Craig was a “Ziegfeld” girl - now she’s under contract. She skipped the first grade in motion picture training, and I guess we all know why. She was a model. Her glorious smile has appeared in hundreds of advertisements. As a fashion model she worked for I. Magnins. (5)
Are you wondering if these girls observe any general rules for the maintenance of health and beauty? Miss Craig will tell you that most of them prefer fresh air to smoky drawing rooms, and that they substitute milk for alcoholic beverages.
Incidentally, her hobby is collecting pictures of the Dionne quintuplets. (6)
Another girl recruited from the model ranks for “The Great Ziegfeld" was Wanda Perry (7), a vivacious brunet from Brooklyn. She's five feet five and one-half inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown eyes.
With her classic features and her superb figure, there was a great demand for her in New York’s portrait galleries and exclusive clothing establishments. She has posed and modeled for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, McFadden Publications and for tooth paste ads.
With an already perfect camera presence, she is not to be enrolled in the studio's kindergarten for beginners.
Over at Paramount there’s a queenly blond named Elizabeth Russell (8), probably the best known of former New York models. A favorite of such distinguished illustrators as Russell Patterson, James Montgomery Flagg, McClelland Barclay, Dean Cornwell, Paul Hesse, and Steichen, the photographer. Miss Russell is now in possession of a flattering long-term contract.
Artists agree that her features are photographically perfect. Artist or no artist, they’ll look perfect to you! She has modeled hose, nightgowns, and coiffures. Her blonde beauty has helped to sell cigarettes, jewels, soap, sheets, automobiles and first-aid kits. Very soon she'll be helping Paramount sell “Girl of the Ozarks,” her first picture (9). Miss Russell is five feet eight inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, has blue eyes and naturally blond hair.
Another beautiful blonde who modeled her way to the movies is Louise Stuart (10), a former Chicago debutante. After graduating from Miss Mason's Castle (11) she went to New York to visit former school chums. It was during one of these visits that she was persuaded to pose for cigarette ads. One good look at her flawless countenance, and modeling jobs were her for the asking. With plenty of time on her hands, and nothing to do with it, she went to work.
Miss Stuart attributes most of her success with the test director to her experience as a model. Posing for artists and photographers, she says, gave her a self-assurance which she has never lost. You'll see her first in “Lady Be Careful." (12)
A third Paramount prize is Veda Ann Borg (13), a stunning, red headed girl from New York. Before the studio signed her to a long-term contract, her divine proportions and sparkling personality had created a sensation in the modeling field.
One of the most exquisite of Hollywood's newcomers is brunette Anita Colby (14) who stands five feet seven inches tall without her high-heeled shoes. Her face has smiled at you from magazine covers, commercial advertisements and from the pages of the nation's smartest fashion periodicals. Her beauty is attractively framed in poise, wit and charm. She is conversant with world affairs, music, art and literature. Pictorially speaking, she’s a model of perfection. Radio proudly points to her name on its contract list.
Radio has two other "model" charmers in the persons of Maxine Jennings (five feet eight inches tall), and Lucille Ball (five feet six and one-half inches tall). Miss Jennings (15), a former model for the famous couturier, Jean Patou, is a stately redhead as handsome a creature as you ever laid your eyes on. You'll soon be seeing her in featured leads.
Tumblr media
Miss Ball (above), a blue-eyed blonde from Montana (16) and former model for Hattie Carnegie, is considered an important trump in the studio's hand. Her bosses have thus far cast her in wise-cracking roles, hoping to develop her into a counterpart of the late Lilyan Tashman (17) - but Lucille doesn't seem to need much help along those lines. Her poise, her suave delivery and her flair for clothes have already added to the gaiety of nations and have cannoned her well along the road to stardom.
One of the most beautiful of the "model" brunettes is Hester Deane (18) who is doing much to enhance M-G-M productions. Her likeness on the backs of magazines has caused many a gentleman to change his brand of cigarettes, and she posed for automobile body advertisements long before the studio discovered that her presence on screen would “up” the grosses.
She was born in Oklahoma City. Her education included art and music. Now, when she isn’t modeling or working in pictures, she designs clothes, takes piano lessons, and studies philosophy.
A good look at Mary Jane Halsey (19) will have different reactions on you, depending on your sex. If you’re a woman, you’d just as soon she broke her neck.
Miss Halsey was born in Milwaukee. After her family moved to Los Angeles she became a model for a famous cosmetician. She is five feet six inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has blue eyes, and ‘shhhhhh’, she writes poetry.
If these "model" newcomers get any taller, a few of our leading men will have to wear stilts. Extreme height, which has sounded the gong for many a beginners’ career, doesn't seem to be a handicap for the ex-models. When these lovely girls began to invade Hollywood, apparently the enthusiastic producers forgot all about the traditional physical specifications for screen heroines. There was a time when all actresses had to be extremely petite and slim, like Gloria Swanson and Colleen Moore, and, more recently, like Claudette Colbert and Margaret Sullavan (20). Unless you were a diminutive little trick about five feet two inches tall, and weighed less than 100 pounds, you might just as well have stayed on the farm. Greta Garbo and Kay Francis (21) were overlooked for a long time because of their height.
But the restrictions seem to have been called off. It appears that models can grow as tall as they like without the danger of facing dismissal from the casting office. Margaret Lyman (22), one of the prettiest of the model group to win a picture contract, stands five feet nine inches in her stocking feet, and weighs 129 pounds.
One of the most photographed models of the country, Miss Lyman has posed for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New Yorker and for cigarette and soft drink ads. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a larger shoe than Garbo.
And no less charming is pretty Jane Hamilton [below] (23), another popular girl who found her way into pictures through the route of her professional success as a model.

Tumblr media
(1) “Roberta” was released by RKO on March 8, 1935. It was Lucille Ball’s 21st film.  Models were needed for the fashion sequences. The film also employed models Virginia Carroll, Diane Cook, Lynne Carver, Lorraine DeSart, Betty Dumbries, Myrna Low, Margaret McChrystal, Marie Osborne, Wanda Perry, Donna Mae Roberts, and Kay Sutton.  In addition to Lucille Ball, Wanda Perry, Maxine Jennings, and Jane Hamilton were in the film and profiled in this article.
Tumblr media
(2) “The Great Ziegfeld” was MGM’s 1936 biopic of Florenz Ziegfeld, the showman who glorified female beauty on stage. Lucille Ball was not in this film, but was later part of the cast of “Ziegfeld Follies” (1951). This film employed dozens of showgirls and models to play the Ziegfeld Girls. Those profiled in this article include Pauline Craig, Wanda Perry, Hester Dean, Mary Halsey, and Margaret Lyman.
(3) Pauline Craig (1914-97) made her screen debut in “The Great Ziegfeld” but only did five more films, leaving the business in 1939.
Tumblr media
(4) Jean Harlow (1911-37) likely did not know or care about Pauline Craig, even if Craig’s figure did give Harlow a run for her money. She was known as the original platinum blonde sex symbol. She died at age 26, at the peak of her popularity. MGM closed for her funeral.

(5) I. Magnin & Company was a San Francisco, California-based high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store. It expanded across the West into Southern California and the adjoining states of Arizona, Oregon, and later to Chicago, Illinois, and Washington, DC, metropolitan areas. Mary Ann Magnin founded the company in 1876 and named the chain after her husband, Isaac. The chain was bought out by Macy’s in 1994.

(6) The Dionne quintuplets (born May 28, 1934) are the first quintuplets known to have survived their infancy. The identical girls were born just in Ontario. All five survived to adulthood. The Dionne girls were born two months premature. The Ontario government and those around them began to profit by making them a significant tourist attraction. As of this writing, two of the girls are still living.
Tumblr media
(7) Wanda Perry was born Helen Beuscher in Brooklyn, New York, on July 24, 1917. When she was sixteen, she was named Miss New York City, and was offered a movie contract by Earl Carroll. Helen moved to Hollywood and took her mother's maiden name, Wanda Perry, appearing in films as a showgirl, an Earl Carroll Girl, a Goldwyn Girl, a dancer in "George White's 1935 Scandals," a fashion model, an extra, a bit player and a stand-in for Lucille Ball! Her final film was as an extra in Lucy’s Mame (1974).
Tumblr media
(8) Elizabeth Russell (1916-2002) was the sister-in-law of Rosalind Russell. She started doing films in 1936 and finished her career in 1960. (9) “Girl of the Ozarks” (1936) was a Paramount film also starring Virginia Weidler, Henrietta Crossman, and Leif Erickson.
(10) Louise Stuart did two pictures for Paramount back-to-back in 1936. That was the extent of her film career.
Tumblr media
(11) Miss Mason’s Castle is a reference to Miss C.E. Mason’s Suburban School for Girls in Tarrytown-on-Hudson, New York. It was open from the late 1880s to 1934. The castle was razed in 1944.
Tumblr media
(12) “Lady Be Careful” (1936) did not feature Louise Stuart as is said here, although records could be incorrect. The film did feature Elizabeth Russell, however.
Tumblr media
(13) Veda Ann Borg (1915-73) did her first film for Paramount in 1936, and was continually employed in Hollywood until 1963. She was the first actress cast as Honeybee Gillis in “The Life of Riley” TV series, replaced a short time later by Marie Brown, then Gloria Blondell.
Tumblr media
(14) Anita Colby (1914-92) was born Anita Counihan. Early in her career, at $50 an hour, she was the highest paid model at the time. She was nicknamed "The Face" and appeared on numerous billboards and ads, many of them for cigarette advertisers. She did three films in 1936 alone, the same year she appeared on 15 magazine covers in a single month. In subsequent years she only acted in three more films, returning to modeling.
Tumblr media
(15) Maxine Jennings (1909-91) did 10 films with Lucille Ball between 1935 and 1937.  After 1938, her film appearances were sporadic.  She made her final screen appearance on a 1968 episode of “Hawaii 5-O”.
(16) Lucille Ball (1911-89) is stated as being a blonde from Montana. She was actually a brunette from Upstate New York.
Tumblr media
(17) Lucille is once again compared with Lilyan Tashman (1896-1934) a stage and screen actress known for her skill at verbal wit as well as her throaty delivery. She died at age 37, just one year after Lucille Ball arrived in Hollywood.
Tumblr media
(18) Hester Dean became known as 'The Girl with the Fisher Body' after modeling for the Fisher Automobile Company. Her only film was “The Great Ziegfeld” (1936).
Tumblr media
(19) Mary Jane Halsey (1913-89) was also in “The Great Ziegfeld” (1936) but by that time had done nearly a dozen films. She continued to act on screen until 1945.
Tumblr media
(20) Gloria Swanson was 4′11″, Colleen Moore was 5′3″, Claudette Colbert was 5′5″, and Margaret Sullavan was 5′3″.
Tumblr media
(21) Greta Garbo was 5′7″ (same as Lucille Ball), and Kay Francis was 5′9″.
(22) Margaret Lyman (1915-2002) was one of the models hired for “The Great Ziegfeld” in 1936. She did two more pictures before leaving screen acting behind.
(23) Jane Hamilton (1915-2004) was a Goldwyn Girl in “Roman Scandals” (1933) just like Lucille Ball. Hamilton, however, had done one previous film as a Goldwyn Girl, “Gold Diggers of 1933″.  She did seven other films with Lucille Ball. Her final screen role was in 1949.

Better than I had Imagined (A.L.)
anna lightwood x (fem) reader
wordcount: 2563
synopsis: reader and anna have been exchanging letters for 10 months prior to you visiting the london institute for your work year with the london enclave. when you finally get to meet in person, the two of you make up for lost time. explicit smut.
You had been corresponding with Anna Lightwood for going on 10 months now.
Being a shadowhunter native to New York, you had been able to acquaint yourself with the warlock Magnus Bane, who kept very interesting company across the world. Being a woman who enjoyed the company of other women, more than that of men, you had found the pockets of society in which these things didn’t matter as much, and you had met him there. By word of mouth, over drinks on multiple occasions, you had learned of the high warlock of London, and his partner, Hypatia Vex, who was known to hold court for one of the most scandalous salons in the eastern world, and of a particular shadowhunter who was a frequent visitor of this salon: Anna Lightwood.
Anna Lightwood, who Magnus had made sure to mention, rather enjoyed the company of other women as well.
After returning from London again, he had grinned as he placed a slip of paper into your hand that read in a feminine scrawl, “Flat 6, 57 Percy Street, London. Anna Lightwood.” You had gaped at Magnus, who gave a shrug. “She liked the sound of you as well.”
You had returned to your family’s townhouse that evening and promptly written your first letter to Anna, and nervously placed it in the post at the institute the next morning.
Fortunately, mail came back and forth at a much faster pace for the nephilim than mundanes, and you had the response in your hands in less than a week. You had tucked it into your petticoats as soon as possible, and kept it close until you could return to your room and lock the door, and eagerly open it and read.
Your face had flushed as you read. She was a bona fide flirt, and answered all your questions with questions of her own. You had read it over 3 more times before you penned your response.
Six months later, you had turned 18, and were asked to consider a work year in the clave of another city to learn. You had options- Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Edinburgh, and London. Naturally, you gravitated to the idea of London, but didn’t want to overstate your friendship with Anna, lusty as the letter you exchanged were. It was fortunate indeed that your parents were more or less supportive of you, so long as you were quiet about your preferences, because the letters you exchanged would verge on incriminating in the mundane world. Never had words that affirmed romance been exchanged, but she had relentlessly flirted with you until you timidly reciprocated, and had all but made love to you with her words. Still, you would not mistake lust for love.
In your next letter, you told her you were considering a work year, and it was possible to do so in London. With a sigh, you wrote directly that you would like very much to meet her one day, and would it be agreeable if you met in London, while you stayed there.
To your delight and relief, she had written back not that she would like to see you in London, but she longed to see you in London. Shortly, you spoke to the head of the London Institute to arrange your travel and appointment at the London Institute. 4 months later, you had your bags in hand as you stepped through a portal to London. Magnus, who created the portal, accompanied you- he had a fondness for London, and thought it was suiting if he saw you to the person he had introduced you to all those months ago.
Anna knew you were coming. She had made a note in her datebook when you were travelling, and had written ahead that you should come by her flat later that day, after you had settled in. She checked her pocket watch for the third time that hour and glanced at the window again, this time stopping and looking again as the Institute’s carriage approached, and deposited a young woman at 57 Percy Street, with a letter in hand.
She knew it was you. You had described yourself and, at her urging, sent a photograph. It truly didn’t do you justice- the black and white impressions never could- and without thinking, she opened the window and leaned out, calling, “Y/N!”
You stopped where you were and looked up, meeting her gaze with a smile. “Anna!” you exclaimed.
“I’m on the second floor! Do come up!” she yelled back, and closed the window to go wait by the door.
When you knocked, she opened and you both grinned stupidly at each other. After a moment you managed, “Hi.”
She grabbed your hand and pulled you inside. “Hello.” she said, her deep voice at once excited and sultry.
Your hands joined, you kicked the door closed behind you and giggled. Anna’s eyes ran up and down, drinking you in. You flushed, admiring the sharpness of her cheekbones, her inky black hair, and her deep blue eyes, when they again met yours.
“I have been waiting 10 long months to kiss you.” she said, her voice rough. “May I?”
You had only slightly nodded when her lips came down on yours, urging, needing. You gasped, fingers knotting in her hair, and arched your back into her when she ran her tongue across your lower lip, and you parted them for her. She moaned lowly, and pushed you back against the closed door. When your back hit it, she pulled away to look at you, as though to ask if you were sure about this.
Having still lived with your family in London, you had never been with another woman, or anyone, in fact. Anna knew this, you had admitted it shyly in letters. Her eyes were hazy and when you found your voice, it sounded husky and foreign to you.
“I did not wait 10 months for you to only kiss me.” you said, heat crawling up your neck.
“Then tell me,” she said, and used your hair braid to pull your head to the side, exposing your neck so she could kiss and suck there. “What else should I do?” she whispered by your ear, and the hair on the back of your neck stood up. She was teasing you, and ordinarily this would have annoyed you, but you were putty in her hands.
You squeaked when surprisingly, she bit the sensitive skin of your neck. “You have to use your words.” she said, and sucked at the skin she had bit, causing it to bruise.
“I- I want you to touch me.” you said, your head thrown back against the doorframe as she worked at your collarbone.
“Oh?” She said, and drew back so she could look at you, still close enough that your noses touched. “Should I touch you here?” she asked, and moved one hand from your hip to the curve of your breast. “Please.” you murmured, and she smiled.
“How polite.” she mused, and grasped the hem of your dress. With her other hand, she pulled loose the tie that belted you simple cotton travelling dress, and fluidly pulled the garment up and over your head, leaving you in your petticoat, shift, and corset. With your own hands, you undid the ties of your petticoat, letting it fall to the ground. Anna hummed in approval, and bent to kiss you again, passionately, but surprisingly slower than before. You fumbled with your hands, pushing her suspenders off her shoulder, and undoing the buttons of her shirt. You got about 3 buttons down before she laughed, and pulled away to undo them herself.
“It’s difficult to undo what you can’t see- at least, if you haven’t done it before.” she said, and winked at you. You would have blushed, but you felt you had exhausted that ability. All blood that could have rushed to your face was already there, making your head spin.
“There,” she said, and shrugged off the men’s shirt she wore so well. Beneath it, she wore only an undershirt, and no corset. You let out a soft noise like a sigh, and surprised yourself by pulling her back to you. As you kissed, you ran your hands up her arms- they were strong, firm, and laced with runes. She drew away slightly and said, her voice pitched low, “I’m going to pick you up now.”
You were surprised, but your voice was thick as you asked “Why?”
Her lips were grazing yours as she replied, “Because if I’m going to be your first, I’m going to take you properly, in a bed, not against a door.”
“Oh.” you said on a moan, as she bit your lower lip. As she said she would, she swept an arm under your knees and carried you, bridal-style, to her bedroom, and deposited you on the soft coverlet of her sheets before moving on top of you. She undid the hooks at the front of your corset and discarded it with ease, and you shivered underneath in a way that had nothing to do with the cold.
With only your shift and stockings left on, you were eager to be rid of them, but not before reaching for the buttons of her breaches. Pulling away, she regarded you wryly. “You do know how this works, right?”
You narrowed your eyes in response. “Of course I do. I just think it’s a little unfair if I’m entirely naked and you’re not.” You added, lower, “I want to see more of you, Anna. I imagined it enough.”
She obliged you, shucking off the trousers and revealing her toned legs. “By the Angel, you’re beautiful.” you said, unbidden.
Wonder of all wonders, Anna Lightwood momentarily flushed. Quickly regaining control of the situation, she gathered up your shift and pulled it over your head, leaving you lying beneath her in only your stockings, still fastened with ties above your knees.
“I could not have imagined you better.” she said, her voice gruff, and trailed a hand from your hip up your torso, resting on your exposed breast and thumbing your nipple.
You gasped involuntarily, and she grinned and bent to suck the other. You fisted your hand in her hair and reveled in the sensation, arching into her when she bit and sucked a bruise into the soft skin of your breast. Your hands moved to the hem of her undershirt, slipping under it and running your hands over the plain of her back, as you whimpered, “Please, Please.”
She pulled away, an eyebrow cocked. “Please what?” she asked, teasing again.
You felt like fire was burning just below your skin as you said, “Please, Anna, I want- I want you to make love to me.”
The phrase hung in the air between you. You hadn’t ever said anything about love in your letters, and Magnus had been clear that Anna was not the committing type when he connected you two. Even still, Anna nodded slowly and said, “As you wish.”
She kissed you again, slowly and deliberately, but her right hand, marked with her voyance rune, made its way down your body and between your legs, thumb moving over your clit as you let out an unexpected moan, and she laughed briefly at your reaction. You felt the tips of your ears redden in embarrassment, but you dropped your head against the blankets below, unable to be indignant with all that you were feeling.
You felt her move under your hands, slipping down and off the bed. You looked up, concerned you had done something wrong. “What are you-” you began, and she rested her head on your lower stomach and shushed you. “I’m not going anywhere, don’t worry about that.”
You nodded, but your brow was still furrowed in confusion until she slipped below your field of vision and- oh. OH. Her fingers were replaced with the wet, hot pressure of her tongue, moving over you in ways you couldn’t decipher, and it felt like the whole world fell away.
“Oh, oh God.” you moaned, words coming to your lips without thought, and spilling over in staggered, whimpering tones. “Oh my- oh, Anna.” You felt so good. You didn’t know it was possible to feel so much at once, and you would have marveled at it if only you were capable of thinking of anything but Anna, her actions, and how glorious it felt.
Unbidden, you laced your fingers in her hair where she was between your legs, and gasped as she slid two fingers in you. You let out a sharp cry in response, and she began to curl her fingers upwards, and you were gone.
If you had thought you couldn’t have felt anything more intense than you had then, you were wrong. All thoughts were pushed from your head and your body shuddered. You said just as you thought, “Anna, Anna, Anna, oh, Anna!” as waves of blinding pleasure washed over you. When it receded and you loosened your grip on her hair, you were only vaguely aware of her pressing oddly gentle kisses to you thighs, before joining you on the bed.
Your chest was heaving as you turned your head to look at her, and she had fixed you with the oddest, almost wonderstruck expression.
“I love the sound of your voice.” she admitted. “I love hearing you cry out my name.”
You laughed despite yourself, and rolled so that you could better face her. “I will never, not ever forget that.”
“Ah, very very good, then?” she grinned, and drew an arm around your waist. You pressed your face into the crook of her neck and inhaled the scent of her, now mixed with sweat and the lingering smell of your sex, and echoed her earlier words. “I could not have imagined this better.”
“You will have to tell me how exactly you imagined this before.” She said, and idly pulled your hair free of your braid, combing it out with her long fingers.
You chuckled. “If you allow me to catch my breath and gather my thoughts, I’ll show you how I imagined it.”
“Hmm. Tea first, I think. It has restorative properties, and I feel odd if I invited you for tea and never offered you any.” she said, now tracing the shape of your runes on your shoulder blade.
You drew away and gave her an incredulous look. “You’re concerned about propriety now?”
She raised an eyebrow. “I should think that I’ve been the height of propriety. I waited 10 whole months before bedding you.”
You laughed into her shoulder. “Was it worth the wait?” you asked.
Her grip tightened around your waist and she nodded. “Absolutely. And, with your permission, I think I’d like to bed you again, and again, and again.”
“And what of your code?” you replied, recalling her assertion that she never seduced a woman twice.
She brushed your hair away from your ear and whispered, “I had 10 long months to plan how I would seduce you, and now I have 12 months of you in London to exact those plans. Do not think for a moment that I will squander time.”
You shivered in her grasp, and fisted the material of her undershirt in hand. She chuckled wryly. “But as I said, first: tea.”

What to Look for in a Barber
When choosing a barber, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
Experience: Look for a barber with several years of experience cutting men’s hair. This will ensure that they know how to work with all hair types and styles.
Reputation: Read online reviews and ask friends and family for recommendations. This is a great way to get a sense of a barber’s skills and customer service.
Price: Barber prices vary depending on the location and experience of the barber. Be sure to set a budget before you go in.

Read online reviews: This is a great way to get a sense of a barber’s skills and customer service. Look for reviews that mention specific hairstyles and services.
Ask friends and family for recommendations: If you know anyone who gets a great haircut, ask them for the name of their barber.
Look for barbers who specialize in your hair type and style: If you have curly hair, for example, you’ll want to find a barber who specializes in cutting curly hair.
Schedule a consultation: Once you’ve found a few barbers that you’re interested in, schedule a consultation. This will give you a chance to meet the barber and discuss your hair goals.
Conclusion
Finding the best barber for your needs can take some time and effort, but it’s worth it in the end. A great barber can give you the haircut that you need to look and feel your best.
Additional Tips for Getting a Great Men’s Haircut
Be specific with your barber: Let your barber know exactly what you’re looking for in a haircut. Bring in pictures of hairstyles that you like, or simply describe the look that you’re going for.
Don’t be afraid to ask for advice: If you’re not sure what hairstyle would look best on you, ask your barber for advice. They can help you choose a hairstyle that flatters your face shape and hair type.
Be patient: It takes time to get a great haircut. Don’t expect to be in and out of the barber shop in 15 minutes. Your barber will take the time to make sure that your haircut is perfect.
By following these tips, you can find the best barber for your needs and get the haircut that you’ve always wanted.

Nervous <Four>
Chapter 4
“Chris, thanks so much for today. Like you have no idea how much you have saved my butt today.” She says after they dropped off Marylea at her house.
“It honestly was nothing.” He replies with a shrug.
“No, it was something majorly from the spa, the dress, and now letting Eevee and me stay with you for a while. I don’t know how to ever repay you.”
He reaches over and grabs her hand at the stop light and gives it a squeeze as their fingers intertwine. They both won’t admit it but they both are enjoying the feel of each other’s hands. “I know how you can repay me.”
Lena turns to look at him as his eyes are still on the road. “What?”  Her body clearly being tense by the uncertainty of his answer.
“Just relax and enjoy yourself. Please?”
 “I am relaxed.”
“Lena . . . “ he pauses, “you might have let your guard down a little bit, but you still look like you haven’t slept a full night without tossing and turning in a while.”
Lena's eyes get wide then slightly shocked, "How can you tell?"
Chris gives her a reassuring squeeze.  "Because I was like that for a while.  I still have issues but not as frequent as before, I can't imagine raising a one year old alone. I doubt that it lets you sleep in or all night."
"Yeah it has been a long time but, what can I really do?  My therapist thinks this time away from Eevee and West Virginia should help my sleep pattern or lack there of but who knows."
He nods his head understanding the internal struggle.  "Well, if you need someone here to talk to I can have a lady I talk with come speak wit you.”
"I might have to take you up on that one." Lena replies wondering if she has been making any progress at getting better.
The rest of the ride was in a comfortable silence, while their hands were still intertwined.  This is nice.  They both thought as they soon pull up to Chris' house.
“So we are here.” Chris states as they pull up to a stunning house overlooking Los Angeles. The walled and gated estate sprawls over 4,600 sq. feet and has 3 bedrooms and 4 baths. “It’s not much but it is while I’m gone away from my other home.”
Lena stifles a small chuckle, “ you don’t think this is much? Pretty sure you could fit my house in there a few times.”
He nods and looks kind of sheepish. “Compared to others it’s not very big. Didn’t need something too crazy since I’m not here often enough.”
 “Understandable. Is your dog here?”
“Yeah. You aren’t allergic or anything right?”
She shakes her head, “You forgot that I foster animals. I’m good with anything. Granted Dodger might not like me at first since I still have the scents of my last fosters on me.”
“I’m sure he will be fine. How often do you foster?”
“Pretty much whenever they need me. The idea of animals being put down because of no socialization skills always has bothered me. Since Ezra passed away I figured I could do it.”
 “Was he opposed to it?”
A small sigh escapes her, “Yes, he was to a little bit.  He was afraid of the house being damaged and it costing too much money.”
“Ohh that sucks, was he always worried about money?”  he asked without thinking.
“Sadly yes.  We made good money together but he always made me feel like money was a bigger priority than me or Eevee.”  She says as a single tear falls down her face.  “Eevee was a beautiful accident that I honestly didn’t know if he would want me to keep her or not.”
For once, he didn’t know to reply to such a heartbreaking statement.  Maybe it was the fact that he has money and hasn’t really had any struggles but the idea of having a wife who not only loves you dearly but then finding out a product of love was on the way.  He was a lucky man but, glad Ezra is no longer around.  From what he has gathered from posts and things he has heard Marylea say, he wasn’t always good to Lena.  Granted he knows there is two sides to every story but, what he has heard from Lena so far, maybe it was all true.  He pulls her hand to his lips and gives it a kiss. “I’m sorry Lena.”
“It’s ok Chris, I still got my little princess.  We at least always agreed with the believes of my body, my choice.  My heart could never do it and I’m glad I had the right to keep her.  She helped me in ways no one could imagine.”
“That’s a good thing.  Ready to tour the house?”  She nods and unbuckles her seatbelt but Chris is still holding her hand.  He sighs and lets go of her hand and climbs out the car.  He opens the door and ushers her inside with her bags in his hands.  “Dodger!”  The medium size dog runs towards his owner and barks happily.  “You would think that he hasn’t seen me only a few hours ago.”
“It happens, he loves his daddy.  Right Dodger?”  Lena gets the excited dog’s attention.  Chris is impressed how well Lena and Dodger were getting well.  He was glad she was there to distract Dodger while he carried her stuff in the house.  One too many times Dodger has gotten out and he has had to run after the rambunctious dog.
Once all of her things were in the guest room, he decided to leave her to her own devices while she unpacked and got settled.  He went on an errand to make the rest of his house more comfortable for Lena and Eevee. After seeing what she had brought for Eevee from West Virginia he quickly complied a list of things they would need. He went to the store and had everything picked out and requested them to be delivered while they were gone tonight as a surprise.
*********************************************************************************************
Lena got herself settle into the massive bedroom that was the size of her family room back home. The large king size bed looked extremely inviting so she takes off her shoes and decides on a small cat nap until it is time to get ready.  As she lays on the bed she feels like she is in a cloud listening to it start to rain it the roof, it helps put her asleep along with the spa day with Marylea and Chris which was relaxing and peaceful. She can’t even remember the last time she had felt so well cared for.
*********************************************************************************************
“Edna, I’m trusting you and your team to make her look amazing.”  Chris said as he leads Edna and her crew of five people through the entry way of the house.
“Yes. Yes. Christopher you have to trust that I know what I’m doing.  I will make her look so lovely that you will never want her to leave.”
Dumbfounded, Chris just looks at the tiny lady trying to figure out what all exactly she meant by that statement.  He had no doubt that Edna would have Lena looking like a million bucks but he was slightly worried if other men would find her as attractive as he did.  He hasn’t told anyone of his intention with Lena because he wasn’t sure if Lena was ready for anything like that just yet.
*********************************************************************************************
“I’m not even going to say what I would like, I’m just going to let you do what you want.”  Lena says as she greets Edna with a hug and a smile.
Edna smiles at Lena and pull her iPad out,  “Ohhh Lena darling.  You are learning so quick.  It is my job to make you look fabulous and I already know how to dress you.  I figured it out after you left the other day. Are you ready for your enhancement?”
“Enhancement?”
Edna gives Lena a small smirk when she realizes Lena doesn’t know what an enhancement was. “Darling, you are already beautiful in your natural state, we are just simply going to enhance what God has already given you.”
Lena nods and gets herself comfortable in the salon style chair Edna’s crew brought into her room.  She looks at all the makeup set in front of her.  Do I really need of this?  She sighs and get more comfortable as the short Indian lady with bright green hair gently wipes her face down before starting to apply makeup.  Deep breathes.  Deep breathes. They know what they are doing.
***********************************************************************************************
“Edna.  Lena.  We need to leave like now so we can be on time.”  Chris yells as he looks at his watch as he paces the floor for the fifth time.  The first few times Dodger walked with him as he paced the living room, but by the third time the dog was tired and laid in his pet bed with his lion.  He stopped pacing when he heard footsteps.
“Christopher darling, you need to relax.  We are coming.”  Edna stops at the base of the steps.  Chris moves to her side.  She looks at him with a curious expression.  “Are you ready?”  He nods his head excitedly at knowing he will see how amazing Lena will look.  “Lena darling, come on.  Stop being so shy.”
“I’m coming.  I’m coming!  Geez!”  Lena yells.  The room grows quiet as all eyes are on Lena.  The sparkles on the cocktail dress are breathtaking.  She has to admit she feels amazingly beautiful, Edna did a great job.  She descend the stairs slowly,  Chris first notices her legs and her brown skin that looks almost golden with whatever they applied to her skin.  They pulled her hair back into an Ariana Grande inspired ponytail.  Edna’s team gave her a natural makeup look with wingtips and a beautiful bold red lips.
“Well, Christopher,  what do you think?”  Edna says as she lights her cigarette and takes a puff.
Chris stands there in shock about how amazing but natural Lena looks.  “You did a great job Edna.  Lena, you look absolutely beautiful.”  A small blush goes up Lena’s cheeks.  “Are you ready?”  He asks as he puts his arm out for her to grab.
She nods shyly and gives him a bright genuine smile,  “I think I’m ready.”
“Wonderful!” Edna states as clasps her hands loudly together. “Go now children before you two are late.”
The couple grabs Edna in a quick embrace, then Chris grabs Lena’s hand and heads to the SUV that he ordered so he would be able to drink and not drive home.
“So, are you nervous?” He asked softly while stroking her hand with his thumb.  He looked at the contrast of skin and thought it was absolutely beautiful.  She nods her head shakily, he turns his body and hold her face in his hands.  “Look if you are ever uncomfortable or worried about your safety, come find me or just squeeze my hand.”
A small sigh escapes her mouth.  “I know, I’m just a little….well, a lot nervous.”
“Why?”
“Because it is me meeting a lot of new, fancy, rich people.  I don’t know if I’ll fit in.  I want you to look good in front of everyone.”
“Hey, hey, how about you just worry about what I think.  I like you and think you are doing a great job.  I am enjoying your company and our time together.  Just breathe deep.  You got this, I have faith in you.”
She squeezes his hand back and turns to him with a slow smile coming to her face.  “I’m glad you have that much faith in me.  I’ll breathe deep.”  She pauses slowly thinking if she should say her next thought.  “I’ve really been enjoying our time together.  You have put a lot of happiness and laughs into my life.”
Chris flashes her a million dollar smile that made her knees weak.  “Good, I’m glad it hasn’t been one sided.  Let’s go knock them dead.”
Lena obediently waits in the car as Chris runs around to her door and opens it for her. As the two walk inside the reception hall, his hand automatically falls to her lower back. He was surprised to see that she didn’t tense up but just looked at him with large eyes and a small smile. Maybe tonight will be a good night to kiss her.
********************************************************************************************
“Evangeline!!  I didn’t know you were coming!  You look amazing!”  Scarlett squeals as she gives Lena a big hug.
“Yeah, I got invited to be his plus one.”
“I’m glad he actually brought someone.  But can I just say you guys look so adorable together. I saw the pictures of you and him at the cafe and so cute.  Definitely shipping you two.”
“Oh thanks but, I don’t know how serious we were are.  Pretty sure I’m just good friends with him.”
“Nah, I don’t think so, I have seen the way he has been looking at you tonight.  He likes you a lot.”
Lena couldn’t help but roll her eyes outwardly but inwardly she had butterflies in her stomach. “We shall see. . .”
“That we will, come on let’s go dance for a bit while the guys are talking.”  Scarlett pulls Lena to her feet as the two start dancing in the sea of people.
**********************************************************************************************
“So, you got set up by Jeff to go out with her?” Sebastian asks after taking a drink.
“Yeah, it’s Marylea’s best friend. She is in town for a few weeks and they thought she would be a good fit for me.” Chris states proudly.
He knew how worried she was walking into the room with him but she looked as if she was having a good time. She was out on the dance floor with Scarlett and looks like she was really letting her hair down and having a good time.
“She’s beautiful Evans, have you seen how good of a fit she really is?” Sebastian asks with a smirk as Anthony chuckles. “I mean we both saw the video of her, Scarlett, and Marylea dancing. And wow. Her body and the moves she can do.”
Chris tenses as he watches the two men and few others watch Lena twirl around with Scarlett on the dance floor. It’s been a while since he had the feeling of jealous, but he could feel it rising slowly.  He wasn’t that much of a fan knowing others having seen her dancing so provocatively.  Those kind of dancing should be reserved for him.
“Hey now, that’s my date you are talking about.”
“Ok, but will you answer the man’s question?” Anthony says as he puts an arm around Chris’ neck. “By the looks of the way she stares at you every once in a while, she likes you too.  Just go for it.”
“You guys don’t understand she has been through a lot of shit and I don’t want to push her.”
“That’s fine to not push her down the aisle but a kiss here and there shouldn’t hurt anything.  Plus, her lips look amazing, I’m shocked you haven’t taken a kiss or two.” Sebastian says while eyeing her from afar.
A slow song starts playing and Chris sees a guy walking towards Lena for a dance. The guys watch as Chris leaves them to get close to Lena. “I figured seeing a guy get close to her would be enough motivation to get him to move.”  Anthony says with a smile.
Scarlett joins the men who are openly watch the exchange of the mysterious guy start to dance with Lena but then see Chris cut in and dance with her. “About time.  I think paint dries quicker than he works.”
The men look at Scarlett and chuckle. “Does she like him?”
“As far as I can tell she has some interest in him but needs him to take the lead since she’s been out of the date game for a while.”
The men looked confused as they wondered why she would be out of the dating scene. Any man to have her in his life would be a lucky man. Tom Hiddleston finally speaks up. “Why has she been out of the scene?”
“She was married and her husband died about a year ago.”  Scarlett replies.
“Ohh. That would explain it, Chris, then is the best match for her.”  Sebastian says.
**********************************************************************************
“So are you having fun?”  Chris asks she he pulls Lena into a close embrace to slow dance with her.  She nods and lays her head on his chest. Even with the heels that Edna gave her to wear she was still really short compared to Chris.
“This is nice and my anxiety finally leveled itself out. I am feeling a little tipsy but not too crazy.”
He nods his head and sees that her cheeks are little redder than they were before. “Yeah you do look a little bit more red, but still beautiful.”  She tucks her head to hide. “You are getting redder!  That’s so cute!” Lena stops dancing as she playfully put her hands over his mouth.
“Shhhh.  Geez, I’m just a little tipsy not white girl wasted, and you getting red to Mr. Evans.”
He pulls her hands away and kisses them and continues dancing again.  “I figured I would be, I’ve had a few drink tonight.  So . . . “
“So . . .  yes.”
“I saw your video.”  She looks at him perplexed, “You know the one dancing with Marylea and Scarlett.”
“What?!?!”  She shrieks and he pulls her close to him.
“It’s ok, you looked amazing, I didn’t know you had those skills but, you are amazing.  It makes it a lot easier for me to do this….”  He leans down to her gently holding her face in his hands and attaches his mouth to her.  He waited for her to hesitant but didn’t feel any so he deepen the kiss.  A small moan came from her that only him and her could heard and it made him hard with need of her.  Her arms wrapped around his neck pulling her closer to him.
They finally pulled away from each other to get some air and decided to leave the dance floor.  Sebastian and Scarlett greeted them with huge smiles.  “You guys should maybe get a room, you went from sweet and innocent to dirty dancing.”  Sebastian says with a chuckle.  Chris flips him off and looks at how flush Lena was.
“Are you ready to go home?”  Chris asks while getting his jacket off the back of the chair.  She nods and they say their goodbyes to their friends and head to the SUV.  The drive to his house was quiet but comfortable, she shivered and he wraps her in his jacket.
“Thanks Chris.  For everything.”  She smiles and leans into him for support.  “I’m glad we left when we did.  The shoes Edna picked out are starting to hurt my feet.”
“Well take them off silly.”
“I will once we get inside your house.”
“Lena, that’s like a half an hour away.  Take them off now and I’ll carry you inside.”
“Are you sure?”
“I offered didn’t I?”  He leans down and unbuckles the red bottom high heels.  She sighs as the shoes were removed from her feet and as Chris massages her sore feet.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐄𝐑𝐀
holly is the only child to leandro and susanna addams ( the addams family 👀 ) . she was born with not just a silver spoon but the silver spoon . the addams are a prominent american family , that are regarded as one of the leading industrialist during the gilded age . in short her families been billionaire rich for a long time and are known as one of the families to bring wealth to the city of chicago . she was incredibly spoiled growin gup as you would assume but by the grace of her parents teachings she was anything but a brat . she had being filthy rich and being an only child working against her and she still managed to be the most giving and down to earth child . from a young age holly would give her toys to other kids during play dates & ask her parents if she could donate the things she didn’t use anymore to the less fortunate .
although her father had a busying career as he took over the family company just a year before holly was born , but in spite of that he always made time for his family . luckily her mother had stepped away from her career soon after meeting holly’s father , so she was able to be a stay at home mom and be there for every important moment of holly’s life . by the way , susanna was straight of of a real housewives show only just an overall better person ? they had dinner together as a family every night , threw parties at the house for every big moment in holly’s life . everything from birthdays , graduations , academic honors , to becoming captain of the cheerleading team and everything in between warranted a celebration in the eyes of susanna and leandro .
she grew up extremely sheltered , mostly because her parents wanted to keep their little girl well their little girl . they didn’t want the world to taint her . she went to church every sunday and even wednesday nights , if she wanted to have a sleepover it was always at the addams household , and her parents met the parent/s of every kid she befriended growing up .
despite their attempts her parents couldn’t shield her from one thing . getting her heart broken and at sixteen she experience her first bout of heart break . the boy she’d falling head over heels for just stopped talking to her one day , with no rhythm or reason he moved on to another girl with a blink of an eye . she couldn’t understand why ( pst ? it was because she slept with him and that was all he wanted to begin with ) someone could be so cruel an play with someones heart like that . it was her first experience of how the world could really work and in all honesty , holly couldn’t handle it . she got her hands on her parents bar room in the house and would literally drink every night before bed so she could sleep .
this soon turned into her going to parties , promising her parents "i just want to hang out with my friend , i wont touch any alcohol” and her promise was always kept , she didn’t touch alcohol at these parties instead she smoke weed and on the chance one of her friends had it on them she’d do a line .
this double life , if you would , didn’t lead to any real issues , at least not while she was in highschool . she still graduated top of her class  and even got accepted into her dream school university of southern california .  it wasn’t until she was a semester deep in usc that she realized she was losing control over her life . maybe it was a mix of her derailing mental state , being separated from her parents , and the los angeles social make up . whatever it was holly wasn’t too far gone to see she needed help .
instead of going back to school the following semester holly checked herself into rehab . her parents freaked out , unaware their daughter had touched a substance a day in her life . it was a long process and took alot of owning up for her own wrong doings but after a couple months she checked out of rehab and flew out to her parents .
she had decided upon leaving rehab that her best bet directly after getting out would be to surround herself with people who loved her . during her short stint in california her parents had made the temporary move to new york city so that her mom could focus on the salon in the city , so holly transferred to new york university to continue her studies and be around her parents .
she lives under their roof , despite being more than self efficient thanks to her multiple branches of income including her trust fund but she figures there is only so much more time before they leave to go back to chicago that the more time she spends with them the better off she’ll be when they leave the city . speaking of , she doesn’t know her parents will be leaving the city in the next few months . on a positive note they plan on paying the rent in the apartment they live in for her until she finds somewhere she likes better .
today , holly is a sober ( she smokes weed here and there but it’s not a addictive so it fine 🙄 ) and happy . although due to how sensitive the girl is anything could make her snap , she’s incredibly fragile guys . like capable of having a mental break at any moment but like we ignore it because if we bring it up it’ll happen . wooo .
not so fun fact ? when she has an off day she’ll literally sit in her room holding either a bottle she had hidden in her walk in closet or stares at the coke she keeps in her jewelry box . she hasn’t used any of it but she tells herself its there as a reminder when really it’s a crutch for if she ever needs it again , she has easy access .
secret time ? she pushed her ex boyfriend of a balcony while she was drunk . this happened before she went to rehab ... perhaps you could say it was what prompted her to realized her crazy ass needed to go to rehab . ummm , it’s not acceptable and she knows this but one thing we all need to know about holly is that holly + substances + being upset = toxic shit that is always the equation and there is never another answer to it .
𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
