"Your first muse"

Is there such a thing? I've found drabble-worthy inspiration from characters in various forms of media my entire life (I remember writing about Cliff Secord from The Rocketeer when I was very young), but I'm genuinely not sure I could name the first one whose perspective I chose to envision and put to paper or screen.

However, I'm going to assume this question is asking about a muse for RP, and I believe my first one in that realm was... Ryou Bakura, from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. This was actually before my days of RP'ing through LiveJournal, or even the girlfriend who had nudged me into that. This was in the olden days of AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ. I'd met a fan of my writing who then introduced me to the notion of online RP.

Knowing what I know now, this is not the fandom I would have chosen for myself as my first foray into that realm, nor is it the character I would have selected.
