It could be fiction, non-fiction, creative, biographical, stream-of-consciousness... it could be burned at the end of the day for all it mattered, just so long as I committed to the discipline. I believed it was something I needed in order to get the blood flowing.

That was 2010, and I made it all the way through.

I'm trying again this year. So if I'm seeming suddenly far more active around here, answering asks that came in forever and a day ago? You'll know why.

Also, just to let everyone know...I am extremely fucking shy when I first start out a blog, it takes me forever to send out asks to others or such. My dad and I were chatting before bed when he said "damn shame Republicans hate Democrats too much because you almost saved the United Healthcare ceo"

And I stared at him in confusion until I remembered I convinced Democrats to write the active shooter alert system bill in 2022 & Republicans said no. Since my Twitter is gone, the thread of me @ everyone is gone. And when Trump got re-elected, I removed the video discussing the bill concept for public comments. It fully slipped my mind because I went from pulling teeth & being reluctantly patient to full on cussing, cursing, and hexing the government by the end of 2023.

I don't remember the exact wording I wrote to the White House when I cussed out Biden for funding war crimes (2023) & the bill itself (2022) but I did list consequences I foresaw that are happening now, so suck to suck if nobody listened & are on the receiving end of massive hexes

Evan Well has escaped prison- and as such, Finley Well (his youngest sibling who ratted him out to the cops in the U. S.), has been put on 'Hero Watch'. This means a Hero (can be shifts or otherwise, default is that Yagi takes up being by their side 24/7 as 'All Might', though he only shifts forms as need be) has to keep an eye on them at all times. This is due to Evan Well being known for being insanely mentally unstable- and since he kind of broadcasted his intent to kill Fin on live television when they were 23 (so three years ago), and was last seen making his way to Japan...

Fin is now under 24/7 surveillance until their brother is captured, for their own protection.

Yagi and Fin will be impossible to separate during the event, and Fin will be mentally unstable/insanely stressed. Yagi will be very stressed and far more protective than usual.

Please note that this event takes place during the students' internships in S2.

ooc: on top of my head and without consideration to any depth of lore or even proper timelines, the dynamics of a Gil/Galadriel/Elrond poly ship would be so fascinating to explore. But also, the fun of exploring the impact of Gil's death to the other two. But also, also, how it could transition to Gandalf/Galadriel/Elrond poly.

Just, power dynamics and themes. Board positioning in terms of what type of power/ruler they are in the whole tapestry of Arda's history. The rings they hold or not hold. The emotional dynamics and needs of each person during that time of their lives.

Also, what they carried from the relationship.

Oh, oh. Another also, what if they do have a relationship, but it broke because of the whole conflict with Annatar? Like, Celeborn/Galadriel still happens. Oh, oh, what if Celebrian/Elrond is still a future in that too? Like, the nuances and distinctions and the shifting dynamics. Oooh. The changes in dynamics that would require with consideration to their long-livedness and the current peace-climate. Just imagining a scene of Elrond and Celebrian talking about his past relationship with her mom and Gil and how it shaped him and affected him. The revelation and exploration of why of all people, then, Celebrian? "Boo, you're just making Celebrian as Galadriel 2.0" Superficial a conclusion that is. Instead, imagine all the damn possibilities and spaces to explore just because of that conflict. Vault of Heaven, Lord of Imladris, what do you see in this woman that, with her, you would choose the rest of so long, when you've basked in the golden light of glory?

Like, the dynamics. The strength of will and experience needed to just go through that and commit. The flaws and contentions and shortcomings that need to be aired out and communicated properly. The amount of work required for two long-lived beings with definitely different priorities given their experiences to come together with all that they know and not know, and be damn happy. Anyway, back to GGE. Like, I love the possibilities that already exist and could be explored just from their friendship. You can even blur the line of the intensities of emotions as long as you can make it work and be believable, but also. What if?

Is this because of ROP? no. I have watched scenes, sure. But there's a damn something in that Tolkien line about how GGE just sat around doing osanwe talk (was it on the end of LOTR? maybe, memory is blergh) that I just... *muah*

Yanqing #1

Yanqing, not knowing anything at all about his biological parents, has no opinion or emotional connection to them. He doesn't know the circumstances on why they did not keep him, whether it was willing or unwilling circumstances, he just knows that Jing Yuan stepped up into that role and has been the only parental figure he knows.

When Yanqing thinks of the word 'parent', Jing Yuan is what comes to mind for him. He's never addressed the General as 'Dad' (at least once he was old enough to understand that Jing Yuan was not his biological parent and proficient enough with talking to address him accurately) and has no intention to change the way he refers to him. Perhaps maybe in a joking way if it came up in a conversation, but would never in a serious way.

Even though Jing Yuan is the man who's effectively been his father, he's also Yanqing's swordsmanship and combat mentor, and eventually became his military superior too; so the respect he has for the man is basically indescribable and Yanqing will never waver in the loyalty and respect he has for the man and how Yanqing is where he is today because of Jing Yuan's care and guidance.
