Linda’s Bio

Hoo boy… the time has finally come. I’m about to drop Linda’s bio. I know OCs are largely accepted in the MTL fandom now, so I wanted to share the girl that’s been living in my head rent free since 2018. I really hope you guys like her, and thank you for taking the time to read it! <3 (and yes, I picked her surname for the sole purpose of a potential shipping joke. u.u)

· Family Dynamic: Neglectful and best, verbally abusive at worst.

· Upbringing: She was mainly raised by a nanny that her family hired, until she was 12 years old. Other times Linda would just… sort of raise herself.

· Misc: Has a large scar across her back, from her childhood, and a few light scars from other fights, that are in the process of fading.

Facial Features--

· Eye Color: Pale blue

· Misc: Linda’s eyes have always looked unusual, sometimes glassy, other times misty… But almost always far-sighted, with no irises. There have only been a few times where people saw her eyes looking somewhat like a normal person’s, but it could have been a trick of the light… She also keeps reminding me of Spleens the Cat, minus the cocaine.

Fashion Sense: Gothic (alternates between different kinds of goth and other related styles, but mainly goes with nu-goth, e-girl goth, and pastel goth)

· Clothes: Changes from time to time, but first appeared in her story wearing an old, worn black sweater, a purple skirt, and dark boots.

· Accessories: Alternates. Themes often include typical gothic patterns and shapes. Only likes crosses if they’re turned upside down. LOVES chokers.

· Styling: It used to be difficult to be well-kept when she was on the streets, so she often used to look slightly scruffy. But after finding a place to stay (and some stores to steal from), she started to look a lot more polished. Now she’s very particular about her clothes, and since dressing up more, her self-esteem has gotten mildly better!

· Important Possessions: A tooth she crafted into a charm for her phone. It was picked up off the ground at Rock-a-Rooni Fantasy Camp, presumably an aftermath from a fight. She keeps it as a memento for the day she met Magnus. And Skelly, a skull that she picked up from the Metal Masked Assassin’s lair. Apparently, it’s her new best friend.

· Misc: Despite Linda wanting to maintain her reputation as “a princess of darkness”, she secretly loves the idea of her clothes making her look cute.

Personality

Personality Description: When it comes to Linda’s personality, she normally has two modes. The first is her most commonly seen: her Haunted Doll mode. Her aura is almost non-existent, and she’s often seen with a half serene/half mischievous smile. A lot of the time it’s hard to tell what Linda is thinking, and her polite yet monotonous tone rarely gives her away. She looks and speaks as if she’s possessed, and hardly seems deterred by anything. But if something ever ends up bothering her, her smile starts to fall, and her demeanour turns extremely cold.

But her cheerful mode is only seen by people who get close to her. She can be highly affectionate and attentive to whomever she’s with, and her smile actually looks genuine. She ends up being very generous to her friends, and her demeanour ends up becoming a lot cutesier. (But if anyone brought this up, she’d instantly try and go back to her first mode out of embarrassment).

But regardless of whatever mode she’s in, one of the things that always stays consistent is her eccentricity. She often stares into space, as if she can see something that’s invisible to others. She voices whatever thoughts that come to her mind without explaining (yet assuming people around her already understand). She speaks as honestly and nonchalantly about her belief in the supernatural as if she was discussing what she had for breakfast.

Some people call her a free spirit, some call her creepy, but a lot of people call her an impulsive, annoying, tiny weirdo. Basically, she’s a Manic Pixie Nightmare Girl. And she hardly seems to blink.

Strengths: Loyal/caring to loved ones, affectionate, observant, somewhat smart, resourceful, fast, thoughtful,

Weaknesses: Insecure, anxious over relationships, obsessive, lack of boundaries, violent, manipulative, sometimes misses the point, selective empathy, lacking physical strength, enjoys making things difficult on purpose, withholds information unless asked (at times),

Goals: To be with Magnus forever, and to rid with world of Dethklok. Also, acquire the funds to create the house of her dreams (wants to model it after the Adams Family’s house).

Character Relationships

(Please note that I actually love a lot of these characters, Linda’s just a salty/petty bitch ;-;)

· Nathan Explosion: “Your fat tits won’t save you from your demise.”

· Pickles the Drummer: She hates him, like the rest of Dethklok. Which is a shame, because I lowkey wish they could bond over their similarly traumatic childhoods. ;-;

· Skwisgaar Skwigelf: She thinks his sex appeal is overrated, and he’s gross. (Although she secretly gives him kudos for giving older ladies some love)

· William Murderface: Why does this man shit and piss all the time?

· Toki Wartooth: Linda was honestly surprised to find out how sweet Toki was. After meeting him at the fantasy camp, she experienced doubt for the first time regarding her feelings towards Dethklok.

· Charles Offdensen: He makes her really uncomfortable, mostly because he reminds her too much of her father. (Except Charles actually gives a shit about the people he’s taking care of)

· Dick Knubbler: She appreciates that they both have bob-cuts and fucked up eyes. Other than that, he can choke.

· Abigail Remeltindtdrinc: The way the media, as well as the way Dethklok treated her (from her skewed perspective) makes Linda sick. She’s hoping there’s a way to convince her to join The Revengencer’s cause.

· Melmord Fjordslorn: “Dollar store Magnus.” (Linda, don’t be fucking rUDE-)

· Seth: She doesn’t care for the weasel man.

· Amber: They haven’t met, but I’m convinced Linda would get a crush on her if they did. She’s so fucking PRETTY <3 ;-;

· Dr. Rockso: “I WILL kill him. I will. One way or another. I will kill him.”

· Magnus Hammersmith: Oh god. Oh god Jesus Christ, Linda fucking LOVES Magnus. She is thoroughly convinced that they’re soulmates, and would (and will) commit war crimes for him. She’s one of the only people who treats Magnus was any degree of affection/love, as well as fuelling his ego. Honestly, it’s hard to sum up how much she LOVES this goat-man in this summary, but she does. A lot. A lot a lot a lot.

· Metal Masked Assassin: Linda is friendly to MMA, despite his continued irritation with her. She has a certain degree of respect towards him and considers him her friend. But then again, her standards for friendship are ridiculously low, MMA could drop kick her and she’d still be all “He’s just in a bad mood :)”

· Mr. Salacia: “…He’s in…my visions…”

· Edgar Jomfru: She considers him weak for going back to Dethklok.

· Bonus!Trindle: She claims they’re nothing alike, but they have a lot in common. Especially regarding their obsessions (although they go about it slightly differently). Truthfully, she still misses Trindle and wishes they could be friends again (even though she’d deny it if you asked).

Group Relationships

· Dethklok: Linda firmly believes that they have made the world worse, and world peace can’t be achieved until they’re killed. She hates what their influence has done to art, the environment, etc. But in her eyes, the worst crime of all is “hurting” Magnus.

· The Revengencers: Aside from thinking their name is stupid, Linda is loyal to them, so long as Magnus is with them. But despite her admiring their goal to destroy Dethklok, a part of her has doubts it’s even possible, if her visions are correct… She hopes so badly that they’re wrong, and that vengeance is possible.

· The Tribunal: She wouldn’t really be surprised to learn that people so high up in power are completely incompetent. She doesn’t know much about them aside from the very vague visions she has in her dreams.

· Snakes N’ Barrels: They’re not her taste. But she thinks it’s funny knowing Pickles once had hair.
