Oh my goodness! Haha thanks for showing me! And no, of course, this guy is still selling my dream while claiming it’s totally nothing to do with me. I hadn’t heard about it so thank you.

For those just joining us, here is the saga of the elder teletubbies:

1. in 2017 I posted a dream I had on Tumblr. In the dream I discovered that the childish teletubbies shown on BBC’s Teletubbies are merely the children of a species that grows up to be forest cryptids as adults. The post contained a detailed character description explaining how the children’s simple antennae become more complex antlers; their coats become thicker hair; their eldritch screens are unknowable; here, look:

The adult Teletubbies have more branching, complex antlers and shaggy coats. They are less brightly coloured. They are terrifyingly large. Their strangely human faces, emerging from the thick fur, are unquestionably adult; remote, serene, reproachful. Their television screens are glitchy, esoteric and unknowable. They are cryptids whose public exploitation has undermined their rarity and their strange, alien dignity.

That’s a pretty clear description.

2. The post quickly gained attention and many people drew art, made sculptures, designed in-depth character concepts, and even made DnD character sheets and entries with detailed notes. It was 2017. The post got over 90k notes. It had an extremely clear description of the cryptid in it. This wasn’t at all obscure.

3. The post and four pieces of the concept art, including the first piece by were screencapped and posted on r/tumblr. The post included this art by the now-deactivated @finoliatav which is, I think, the first piece of art. Most screencaps don’t show that it’s animated! Once you see it you can no longer pretend that any more work needs to be done in designing these characters, really - they’re all variations on a very clear theme.

4. A guy called Jars started drawing the BBC Teletubbies as adult Teletubbies. He noted on Reddit that his inspiration for the first one was the r/tumblr post but after that, he considered it entirely his own creative work. He drew each of the 4 BBC Teletubbies as adults using my character description and wrote a little story about how his character had stumbled upon them in the woods. He’s a good artist and his work went viral on Reddit and instagram. Those places being separate from Tumblr by the walls of the enclosure, they quickly believed the Jars was being highly original and praised him for it.

5. jars got carried away by his fame and started merchandising for all he’s worth. He’s selling elder teletubbies placemats. He got a collaborator to help him make and sell plushies.

6. Plushies of my character design applied to BBC characters. Jars sells them. To people. Who buy them. He sells these.

7. I think this is like… his job.

8. It has been years of this. I don’t think he has actually come up with anything else to sell by himself. But given that he now has millions upon millions of views on platforms I don’t use, let alone dominate (Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok) he seems to have fully subscribed to the idea that this is his THING.

9. After a while I wrote him a friendly email expressing that since my original dream was very much about discomfort with how the teletubbies were being exploited, I didn’t mind him selling his own art but that I wasn’t happy with him selling plushes based on my writing.

10. He wrote back along the lines of it all being his original intellectual property and absolutely nothing to do with me, etc, so jog on and don’t interfere.

11. I’m not entirely sure where the original intellectual property is when taking BBC characters and drawing them according to someone else’s detailed description of how to “evolve” them (branching antlers, shaggy coats, eldritch screens, serene adult human faces) especially having drawn them after seeing four separate detailed reference photos to base your own drawings on; especially when they’re the existing BBC characters from the show and not even your own. Like, Jars, you were given an entire detailed brief, several sets of references, an entire concept and a television show: the only artistic choices made here were to pick up your own personal pen and do the drawing. You have never deviated from my description, which you did not come up with yourself in any way. But okay Jars. You did some real intellectual heavy lifting here, this is Intellectual Property suddenly, and I guess this is your day job!

12. I myself actually have a day job, am capable of generating lots of other original material just for funsies, have never asked you guys for money, and I’m not generally huge jerk I don’t think. Also, I’m uncomfortable but have never been clear on how to stop him - I don’t think I can. So I don’t do much about this, apart from occasionally scream with hilarity with you guys about it.

13. Like this is the opposite of Goncharov. This is a guy making his wage on a 2017 tumblr collaborative shitpost insisting that this is the beautiful fruit of his only brain. And millions of people believe him.

14. There are now YouTube documentaries with millions of views and TikTok lore about Jars, and his lore, the Elder Teletubbies, which apparently he invented. People are making their wage talking about the history of Jars and his teletubbies lore. These documentaries are, if you can’t tell, not especially well-researched, as it is not difficult to find the original elder teletubbies art on the internet, which is all timestamped. Occasionally hilarious people from Tumblr point this out in the comments (thank you, you guys are hilarious) but the juggernaut is unstoppable!

15. Jars is now, apparently, doing a kickstarter to raise money for some kind of DnD sheets using the grown up BBC teletubbies.

16. I will point out that tumblr made and played with DnD teletubbies in 2017 for free and nobody had to pay $3000, but again. The juggernaut is unstoppable.

I have never, ever known what to do about this guy.

I have always been open to advice but genuinely never been able to articulate how it “damages” me, apart from ethical discomfort about how much I hate my writing being monetised by other people, especially when it was about my discomfort with exploitation. The juggernaut is unstoppable though. He fully intends to get thousands of dollars from this. He almost certainly will!

(First of all, I'm a massive fan of your art and headcanons. I'm krueger girl any day of the week, and your art just makes me want to gnaw on him.)

I've been obsessed with drawing military gear for a few years now, and I love how your art style depicts everything. I was just wondering how you went about developing that ridiculously cool style? How much do you think about real anatomy and actual references of gear while still retaining the stylistic look? I always tend to struggle with overdetailing in certain areas, especially on plate carriers and guns.

Do you have any tips for someone wanting to improve in this specific area? (Other than heaps and heaps of practice, of course, haha)

Also, this is very high praise. In a lot of ways I think it's also important to remember that my artstyle tends to be very forgiving as my lines are naturally super loose. My anatomy isn't objectively good, but it works because I have a general idea of how body parts are linked together. i think.

My reply got super long (SORRY..) so it goes under the cut:

What made me develop my style was... gaining confidence. Over the course of the past 5 years, 90% of my drawings were the same 4 characters, over and over.

I got comfortable with the layout of their gear -> the more comfortable you are with something, the more you simplify it → the more effortless it looks → the more "daring" you get with it. I think it particularly applies to gear art.

Regarding specifically what you mentioned, here's my advice (this is personal advice from my experience, again, I lack actual solid basics and I only draw lined works, so this might not apply to painting!!!) :

Overdetailing: DRAW UNZOOMED!!! literally my n°1 advice. When I over-detail (you can see it in some of my posted pieces) it's exclusively when I wanted to correct smth and stayed zoomed in. Unzoom as much as you are comfortable with - I advise seeing at least 40-50% of your drawing at all times. Having a general view will help you not to "linger" on any part, and consider your drawing as a whole instead of separate parts.

References: use them, but don't get trapped by them. Basically: don't try to stick to them too hard. This is personal advice, but in my case, when I focus too much on a reference and try to replicate exactly what it shows (the exact angle an arm bends, every detail on a piece of gear, etc), my drawing ends up being very stiff and/or overdetailed. Try to draw your reference your way, with your proportions, while retaining the general idea of the ref - whether it is an entire pose, a body part, a plate carrier or a gun. It'll be less frustrating, and will get you to develop your own style quicker while making you improve.

I'll be honest - I lack actual, good anatomy basics and practice, which hinders me *a lot* when I draw or attempt drawing more elaborate stuff. It might not show because I find workarounds in my style.

My point is that.. despite this, you guys like what I do, and for the most part (I can't believe I'm saying this now) I'm confident with my artstyle 🥺 ... so, ultimately, it's about finding some sort of balance. Again, thank you for your words. I hope amidst my rambles you could find something useful. I'm rooting for you! 😤

More Hearts Than Mine: Part 5

“You’ve never been to a game before?” Steve hadn’t believed you when you first told him, but he had quickly changed his mind and taken your word for it when you were asking questions within minutes of the puck dropping.

“My parents are academic. If it doesn’t involve statistics or how to succeed in the social ladder, basically if it’s all for fun and not to further yourself-”

You were rightfully distracted by the game, enamoured by the speed and the skill of the players on the ice, and you’d visibly winced more than once when Ari had bodychecked another player into the boards.

“You do anything for fun when you were growing up?” Steve had meant it as a joke, a way to get to know you better via your childhood, which up until now had rarely been talked about.

“Fun?” You had jest in response; the ease between you and Steve and Jake was building with every passing moment. “What’s fun?”

“Haha,” Steve laughed dryly and sarcastically, draping his arm across the back of the seat and against your shoulders, pausing to kiss the top of your head when you rest your head against him.

“My parents put me in dance, horseback riding lessons, piano and gymnastics. But none of it was meant to be fun. They wanted me to have as many avenues to success as they could.”

You pushed yourself closer to Steve, only once glancing at the empty seat to your right, where Jake had been. “Is Jake okay? Is he gonna need help?”

“He’s fine. He’s gonna be back soon.” Steve reassured you with a stroke of his fingertips against your shoulder, the small circles he’d made against your shoulder was a pleasant and small affection.

“What’s going on?” You questioned when one of the refs had blown the whistle, and the game had come to a brief standstill, with the ref grasping Ari’s jersey to lead him to the side.

“Ari’s gotta go in the penalty box for hooking,” Steve explained, gently turning his head to the scoreboard and the countdown appearing on the screen, “five minutes it looks like.”

“That’s the penalty box?” You stood from the cool plastic stadium seat you were sitting on and watched the referee leading Ari to the transparent plexiglass box and as he entered, a round of boos had risen from the crowd.

“Yeah,” Steve had gently nudged you, “Ari’s got five minutes for hooking. You wanna talk to him, now’s your chance.”

“Can I?” You looked at Steve, still unsure if it was something you should be doing. “I can just..?”

“Yes, sweetheart.” Steve nudged you gently again, encouraging you to sneak past him and head to the staircases that would lead you to the box.

You had taken a step and turned back, Steve’s eyes trained on you and his hands shoved in the pockets of his coat as he watched you. “I’ll be back.”

You turned away and rested your right hand on the metal railing secured to the cement steps, sliding your hand down the smooth painted surface in tandem with every step you had taken. When you had approached the penalty box, you had stepped on the edge and tapped the back.

Ari had turned his head and cast his gaze over his shoulder, his eyes bright and his lips stretching into a beaming smile at your approach. He had set his stick against the right wall of the penalty box and pulled out his mouth guard, placing it on the seamless edge.

“Ari!” You raised your voice and placed your hands flush against the plexiglass. “You goon!”

“Hey, bunny!” His grin had only widened, and he had fixated his attention on you and not the crowd or the ongoing game. “You having fun?”

“You got in trouble for hooking!” You knocked on the glass twice more, the subtle sound muffled against every other sound and sensation.

“The asshole deserved it.” Ari’s grabbed his blade and tapped against the glass, like you had, twice in return. “You see that bodycheck?”

“You really are a goon!” You laughed under your breath. “You do that often? Get into trouble?”

“Wait until you see me fight!” Ari glanced back at the clock, at the time counting down before he addressed you again.

“Do you fight?” Your eyes widened when a player on the other team had skated close to the boards and banged his stick against the panels, the noise and the sudden collision nearly making you jump out of your skin.

“Go back to your seat, baby!” Ari’s studied the ice, picking up the number of the other team’s player that had hit the glass with his stick, his blue eyes narrowing when the player smirked at Ari from across the ice. “I’m about to go back in.”

“Ari-“ You were distracted again by the pace in which he had shoved his mouthguard back in and grasped his stick.

And when the timer was down to zero, Ari had shoved the door open and left the box, skating effortlessly across the ice toward the massive-looking player that had hit his stick against the glass.

Ari exhaled sharply as he lifted his hockey bag onto his shoulder, grunting softly from the weight he was used to, and yet the weariness of his body after three intense periods was giving him little grief.

As he had adjusted the weight of his bag and grasped his stick in his hand, he had glanced toward the door of the locker room, already feeling the buzz of electricity that was infiltrating the thick and solid steel as if it was radioactive.

Beyond the door were girls waiting to greet them, the lot of them hoping to gain the attention of any number of the players with the hopes of being invited to an after-party and the legendary sex they thought the players had.

In reality, most of the team had girlfriends or boyfriends and had been going steady for long enough that the girls didn’t make them bat an eye. Of the players who were single, they had the great pleasure of having a gaggle of screaming girls waiting for them, pawing at them.

As Ari’s gaze lingered, he had hoped to see you on the other side of the door waiting for him. He was hoping he would see his cute little bunny waiting for him to congratulate him on the big win, and if he were being honest, even if he hadn’t gotten anything but a scornful look or a quick-witted ‘congratulations’ it would have been enough.

Ari was lost for you; he was completely blindsided by the mere sight of you, more so than he had been with any other girl on campus. You were beautiful, intelligent and funny. You hadn’t shied away from taking digs at Ari, from boldly stating your dislike of the captain of the ‘goon squad’ as you had so delightfully labelled them all.

“Party tonight, Cap?” One of the defensemen had clapped him on the back in passing, one of the few single players on the team. “Lotta girls out there-“

“Unless one of those girls is a sarcastic hellcat-“ Ari grinned as the door opened and he caught a glimpse of the very girl he was speaking about, “-I’m not interested. I’ve got my eye on someone already.”

“I see Steve and Jake out there,” Sam commented, opening the door enough to scan the crowds of fangirls, parents and partners alike, waiting for the rest of the team.

“The girl standing between them-“ Ari had directed Sam’s attention to you, the mere image of you making Ari weak.

“Isn’t that the chick that chased us down in the café? Called us all stick monkeys?” Sam’s lips twitched as he started to smirk, hiding his laugh behind his hand as he watched Ari’s expression change.

“Yeah,” He grinned widely and ran his fingers through his long brown hair, his heart fluttering when he had watched you laugh and lean against Jake, “she’s our girl.”

“Our girl?” Sam questioned with one raised dark brow, hitching his bag over his shoulder like Ari had, and waited until the following few players had left the locker room before he was able to approach the door.

“I’ll tell you later, Wilson.” Ari had nudged his shoulder as the door opened again, and the gleeful puck-bunnies waiting outside the locker room had continued their shrieks and excitable nature as they had encircled the players trying to greet their parents, friends or partners.

As Ari stepped out of the locker room and the steel door closed behind him, he was made aware of the fans he had that were waiting for him breaking off from the other players to form a tight group near him as they screeched and squeaked their questions or adoration for him.

It was a part of the role he had as team captain, having his fans trying to get near him or get with him, and yet he only had his eyes on one woman.

He could see you through the crowd gathered outside the locker room, where you were standing with Steve and Jake.

Ari had noticed the look on your face and the tinge of green that was not so subtly hovering around you like a fine mist, envy and jealousy you were likely telling yourself was nonexistent for someone like him.

You had called him a goon earlier when he was in the penalty box for hooking, the quick-fired insult carrying less sting and a little more admiration, the little quip making him grin like a madman as he waited out his five minutes.

“Ari-!” One of the girls to his left had painted his number and his initials on one cheek and the other, and it was a quick side-eyed glance to see the girl was shivering in a tiny skirt and cut off jersey that would have done nothing to keep her warm this close to the ice. “I was wondering-“

Ari had to hold in a laugh that was building in his chest when the girl to his left had placed her hand on his arm, the subtle gesture making that fine little invisible green mist circulating you turn red, and he was sure if he had gotten closer he could have been able to see steam billowing from your ears.

“Not interested,” Ari had brushed her off. Finally, that laugh had been given life as he grinned wide at you, his pretty girl with a visible scowl on your face and a pretentious glare pointed directly at the circle of girls surrounding him and the other members of the team.

He had broken through the crowd and had come upon the three of you at the perfect time to hear Jake accusing you of jealousy with a half-smirk on his face as his hand settled on your hip.

His fingers had flexed against your hip the closer Ari had gotten, and Jake’s smirk had grown when you fixated your steely glare on the hockey goon approaching.

“I can’t believe they would stand around and-“ Ari had dropped his bag a foot from you, the steady thud dull to his ears as he reached out and cupped your cheeks, yanking you closer to his chest.

“You talk too much,” his wolfish grin came mere seconds before your lips met and he kissed you with intensifying passion.

Your hands had instinctively become balled into the plain grey shirt he was wearing and had become the tool you’d used to yank him back in for another kiss when he tried to pull away.

He was grinning into the kiss, unable to help himself when you had made a soft simpered sound when Ari had snaked his hands around your back. The movement of his hands continued to your ass, the kiss broken when he had squeezed your asscheeks and lifted you from the concrete floor, carrying you as if you weighed nothing.

“Ari, you goon!”You shrieked and dug your nails into his shoulders to retain your grip on him as he kept you suspended in his hold.

“We’ll take your bag then!” Sam called with amusement thick in his voice as he watched their team captain carrying ‘his girl’ like a trophy.

“Thanks, Wilson!” Ari grinned up at you, his hold unwavering even as you gently smacked his shoulder. “Ready to celebrate?”

“I was on a date.” You grunt lightly, your eyes widening when he had shifted ever so slightly. “You’re interrupting a date-“

“You’re not walking off with my date.” Jake had revelled in the air of playfulness that seemed to encompass the intimate atmosphere around the four of you. “If you’re taking her, I’m coming with you. Steve?”

The youngest triplet sighed exasperatedly and rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest. The strap of his camera bag was twisted slightly at his shoulder, and he seemed mildly annoyed at the prospect, and yet, he seemed to agree in the next breath. “Only because you two together-“

“Happy now, bunny?” Ari had gently lift his hand from your right ass cheek only to make contact again, the light sting drawing a subtle grunt from your lips and another squeeze of your nails into his shoulder.

“I’d be happier if you’d let me go.” Your protest was only half-hearted, and Ari had quickly dismissed the request with another quick kiss.

“No. You’re stuck here now.”

ahh aighto, so following the guide list and watching part 1 n 2 in close succession, 3 then 4 then rohan ova, then 5 and 6. on the liveaction one, ngl i wouldn't really have much complaints about the fact it's not art, always fun to experience a fandom in its entirety like all the cool different mediums and stuff like that, especially for how long jjba's been going on for, there's so much to explore :D

okay not gonna lie, i may have desperately needed that warning about no characters being safe lol i get way too invested and attached to them so the head's up is appreciated ;; (/gen) i don't know why i'm kind of very curious about that though now, i haven't seen any author ever just straight up kill of characters (well i have but ya know?) especially main ones? got me on the edge of my seat now ngl. i'm also wondering whether i should just stave off the manga for now till after i finish the anime and that jazz, dunno to be able to binge the manga and feel it properly tbh

and ohh alright, i was reading another guide just now and it linked the "Stone Ocean OP / Opening" from yt and i see what you mean by cgi, i dunno how they do that so i'll assume it's like 3d models, the way the 3d bits fit the 2d animation style looked so cool and aaa the expressions are just so uniquely styled and all from what i've seen of a 1 minute clip lol but glad u were still able to enjoy the season tho tbh (/pos)

and oh!! there's tarot connections? aa i'm so excited to see how they do that, it's always super fun to see those small little references and u can giggle since your like "yay i got that ref :D" (/lh/hj) might have to grab some kind of bingo to see how many refs i catch haha (/j) but alrighty, noted, no research on kira will be committed, i mean aside from me searching for his design yesterday lol (/lh)

i don't know if it classifies as spoilers much but from the guide i read it said that around part 3 they switched to entities called strands with random powers? that was basically the gist of what i got before i stopped reading so is that one of the differences that separate part 1/2? but oh wait what? why would they say to skip :(? isn't it just more fun in general to start from the very, very start? and oh! joseph! i believe you've mentioned him before but i never heard of jonathan before, his hair looks super cool tho omg and no cause fr :( the uniqueness is part of the appeal isn't it? jjba already has the reputation of being: funky, unique and just being so alive, i don't get how someone would start watching an anime with a rep like that and not watch the first 2 seasons just cause ;; (/lh) awh help i'm getting attached to joseph now, he sounds so sweet tbh (/pos)

and yes rohan is for real representing all side-characters doomed to only appearing for like 5 minutes or having no voice lines lol (/joke/lh) but ahh i'm actually interested in his character development now, the sillyness of him being the only one that could publish manwha properly whilst everyone else couldn't has piqued my interest xD (/lh) oh wait no, your point does actually make a lot of sense though if people demand utter copies from canon then it wouldn't really be as fun tho i dunno, creative liberties are very cool and ngl i could see it somewhat bombing if they did make it irl anime type ya know? idk but seems like the kind of thing twt would poke fun at :') (/lh) i'm glad about how it seemed to turn out though, poster looks super cool too 

and oHH you like aot? yay :D! i haven't watched in a while but unfortunately, i may have spoiled myself- kind of? i've seen the designs and new art style but the lore lost me even before i last watched a couple of years ago, have you caught up with the manga? what's your thoughts on the story and just general stuff like that if you don't mind me asking? feel free to not censor spoilers for this one, my brain's already pieced together bits of lore whenever aot would go trending on social media lol (/lh/nf) but yay hope you had fun with your brother while you watched it! i dunno why i always imagined that motion to be like a croak-type 'laugh' lol, but yeah denji's character definitely seems very funny haha tho course there's the serious story bits, not sure why but he actually somewhat reminds me of mineta? albeit of course denji's a lot more fleshed out and established (i'm not really caught up with the bnha manga so i dunno how mineta is currently, though tbh the similarities kind of end with their primary motivations centering women? (i dunno if i phrased that right, i hope the idea got thru tho ;; /lh)

wait oh noo, i've seen the anime already but this clip compilation is actually so sweet omg ;; i love yor but for some reason the first few episodes of loid being practically a single dad has my heart in a vice grip lol, they really did do the family dynamic between them so well (/gen) and ohh what are your thoughts on uhm- what's his name? yuri briar? yeah that's his name, the uncle and niece dynamic between him and anya was adorable to see lol

i finally found an proper working site with the english trans for the comic lol, i myt finish it in abt a day so i can ask some indepth questions about that when i do :D (if you don't mind ofc!) ngl being able to relate to a character however flawed really shows how well the writing was done (/pos) and wait that frame actually looks so pretty omg?? the artstyle is to be adored tbf, there's so many details and you can almost tell the emotions even without the text woah. and ohh! wait his been your layouts? i saw the holding knife banner but i didn't recognize the artstyle till you pointed it out (/lh)

honestly, i get how you feel about one piece ngl:') i've watched a ton of analysis videos on that but it's always a whiplash to see the diversity in the male characters then see the female characters, coming from a vid i watched they said "It's like there's no middle ground, your either made into the standard body type (the girls in the images:') ya attached ) or your made 'grotesque' (the video cues a photo of big mama)" tbf i don't actually know big mama's character and there isn't really anything wrong with being that weight but i do get the gist of the idea the vid was talking about (artstyle side ofc), 

and oh, i''m gonna be honest i've never actually understood the whole highlight thing, i always assumed they were all sweating when i saw the shine if that makes sense (/hj/lh) but yeah, i can get how it's p much  a redflag or at least can makes someone uncomfy (/gen)

(also poorly formatted. every line break is answering its corresponding one in ur ask) (in most cases im so sorry :sob:) mhm!! theres a whole lot of extra stuff to read aswell-- like after part 4 araki didnt just make the rohan ova, he also made "dead man's questions" which you probably should also read (not watch as theres no anime version) after part 4-- it follows a character who dies in part 4 which is why i wont say ANYTHING about it. i heeaaavily advise you to not even search it up- like at all its mc is a MAJOR character spoiler like not until youve finished part 4 okay

also, despite no character being safe, i wholeheartedly push you to still love and care about every character your heart Will. shatter atleast once, but thats the fun in it really? i started jjba after watching the original naruto, so the first time a main character, like a *main* died i was just shellshocked the entire time i was waiting for them to bring the person back cause it was like You can't be serious? i REALLY dont wanna gas it up but the ending to part 1 was genuinely wild aswell W series

for the stone ocean cgi i didnt really mean the into but in animation itself for some scenes they used like 3d models and such for the powers and effects, and it sometimes might not be noticable, but when you see it. you see it and its like theyre really doing that and its genuinely so cool

the tarot connections are mainly part 3's thing- the way they names most abilities at least my favorite being death (13) mainly because the episode had me SO intrigued- honestly my favorite jojo episode other than this episode in part 4 (will not disclose [spoilers] but its the "bites the dust" episode- youll know it when you get there) hearing the ability names; it was always great to go "hey i know that band!" but i must say if youre watching the anime with subtitles, or in dub, what you read is not the stands name (or hear if dub) the stand name in most cases, will not be the same as it was originally, as well, copyright purposes really, so in western versions the name the person says (for sub) will not line up with the subtitles man in the mirror for example in the subtitles is reffered to as "mirror man" , so if you get to the part with stands, just know you might not be able to like get some references unless you listen to the japanese name not that it matters it just popped into head lol

and yes thats the big change really, the reason people say to fully skip part 1 and 2 the lack of stands which is so childish.. like really? you dont like the main fundamental parts of the series cuz they dont have big punchy monster powers? i assume youve met johnathan by now, judging byyour comment on the ending music YOU WILL (PROBABLY) LOVE HIM hes just a sweetheart like a mary sue mc but in a not mary sue way

yayaya :DD the team behind jojo REALLY can take the liberties they want and thats probably because the manga/araki is weird as hell like think. uh. spy family you just couldnt do the stuff you do in jojo there, not even story wise but art wise everything is so "polished" and set? like i dont wanna say polished, because jojo is *very* sleek looking but like you get what i mean

where was i.... honestly, jojo side characters (unless theyre like minor antags that get beat in one episode) are really prevalent as the seasons go on and one thing i can REALLY applaud araki (as if i havent been applauding him for EVERYTHING) is that he doesnt forget characters if you meet a side character that isnt evil, you Will. meet them again at least once something i like in part 4 (can you tell its my favorite part?) is that all the characters sort of have their own episode (even the sidest of side characters) when you watch it itll make more sense, but like the side characters arent just plot devices i guess youll see them roaming the street and the characters'll walk past the same bg characters multiple times, and that bg character genuinely wont matter i think it goes hand in hand with the whole everyone knows everyone small town theme but it's still super cool and yes!!! i get so dissapointed when i see irl anime reboots and they are literally just cosplaying the characters nooooo!! the point is that its in real life!!! make the story your own!!! yeah i loved aot :D its not a favorite of mine but its top on my lest i should do like a tier list or something of all the mangas/animes i can remember ive watched ive watched a whole lot actually theres not a lot else to do when youre a shut-in :sob: im all caught up with the aot manga the ending. had me shellshocked genuinely had me blinking like.. thats not okay where was my happy ending??? my overall overall thoughts are is that.. well.. i really love when mangakas just through your expectations out the window and thenh grabs them back and spits on them and throws them out another window just to mess with you so i loved aot; the lore behind the titans and everything? confusing but once i got it they had me rolling over in my bed sorry if ive been getting off topic alot by the way . _ .

the ONE reason i wont watch one piece is the femals character designs i know its like a 1000+ chapter manga, made by a male mangaka which is a bad sign because to make manga, you must like manga people who like manga enough to write it probably do not see people of the preferred sex at all, so like yeah hes never met a woman other than his mother so he cant draw them but come one you mentioned her so i have to bring her up

He does end up enjoying the game cause he gets to spend time with you, and he gets to show off when events happen 

He also goes out of his way to memorize locations for materials for you, and when youre sick or busy, he pilots your account

But ironically enough hed probably start simping for a character too and of course, you both start bonding over that, which just makes Levi absolutely happy

Happy Doomcraft Doomsday 2022!

After the fall of the Hermitblr Discord Server back in January 2022, Demise has come back - this time on a different Server with a different name, Doomsday! The event is modded by the wonderful @ambered-glazed-sheep and their amazing mod team! This year, there are 16 players, and I'm really excited to try to hit at least everyone once or twice!

The Rules are:

You can only attack people who are participating in the event! (Of course, you can still draw characters of other people! However, that will not be considered part of Doomsday)

You can attack other participants by putting your creation of their character into doomsday-attacks and pinging them on Discord.

You can't attack the same person again until they've defended themselves from your first attack, or died.

If you are attacked, you can defend yourself (by creating art for your attacker) within a timeframe of 48 hours.

You only get one life!

You can defend for other people!

You can check whether a person is alive or dead by their roles (on Discord).

There are no specific rules about forming teams!

Attacks don't have to be murder/Halloween themed! However, they can be!

If you want to draw something more dark or bloody, please check the refs channel beforehand to see if the person you're attacking specified anything about that.

You can sign out of the event at any time, just let a mod know!

The sign-ups closed Sep 29th and the game started 8am CEST and there's already been so many attacks! I cannot wait to see how everything turns out and who will be the winners this year!

9w3n 0 (Gwen Cypher) (They/It/She)

They are a character I played on the New Dawn SMP back in Nov. 2021 (I haven't redrawn her ref in a while haha). They are very nervous and doesn't know a lot of stuff from this era and is most familiar with things from the Beta update, like Red Beds and wolves. Endermen are new to them, and whatever a stronghold is? They are very drawn to it and all the new things like Fences!!! What do you mean, they came out several years ago? And where’s her friends? What do you mean Herobrine isn’t real? They are an Allay Elf Hybrid, think BIG rounded ears with blue insides, small wings, and occasionally a tail!

Milo Fern (He/Him)

(I don't have a good photo of Milo yet) Milo is a character I made back in 2020/early 2021 from a TikTok OC challenge about mixing three DSMP creators and seeing what you make! I combined Wilbur Soot, Fundy, and Ranboo and got Milo. He’s played a part of a helpful farm boy who loves to play guitar and hang out with his boyfriend. He has a lot of anxiety and can be very paranoid. He loves redstone, but feels like it’s going to explode if he gets a small detail wrong. Milo's also a retired L'manburg soldier, but I don't really know how to work that into his story yet.

My rip-off GoodtimeswithScar D&D character.

“You forget that I was a scrawny fucking kid.”

“I don’t care, there is no way you ever fit in this thing,” Indy argued, holding up a light blue wrestling singlet that looked like it was made for a 3 year old.

“It’s stretchy. Actually, that one might be Ethan’s, he was a little smaller than me anyways,” Grayson offered with a laugh.

“Uh huh. Okay. You were both tiny.” She pointed to the matching one in the storage bin with a raised eyebrow. 

“It was good to be smaller - made it harder for your opponent to get a hold of you.”

“I never understood wrestling. I mean, I get the basics. Grab and hold down until the ref says you won.”

“Grab… and hold down…” Grayson choked out the words like they hurt to say, trying his hardest not to laugh. Indy rolled her eyes.

“Shut up, I just mean that I don’t understand the strategy. Like the way you do it.”

“Takedowns. Those are called takedowns babe.”

She smacked his shoulder instead of smacking the smirk off his face.

“I played basketball, sue me.”

There was a mischief in Grayson’s eyes that had Indy bracing her feet. She knew something was going to happen, she just didn’t know what. 

Luckily, he took the nice route and grabbed her hand instead of her legs, pulling her into Lisa’s living room and quickly moving the coffee table out of the way, leaving an open rug that would have to do as their wrestling mat for the time being. They walked onto it and turned to face each other. 

Indy squared her shoulders and looked at his, which were much broader than hers. And more muscular. Just like everything else on his body. She swallowed.

“Why do you look like you’re about to pounce on me?” Grayson raised an eyebrow, laughing when Indy ignored him and put on her most serious face, raising her hands up. 

“Okay, be that way. I was gonna help you,” he said. “This is gonna be a squash.”

“Am I supposed to know what that means?”

“You’re about to find out. C’mon, show me what you got,” Grayson jeered. 

Indy took a deep breath, and then she was moving. 

It was quick. She tried to move her arms down to his legs, the only hope of getting him to the ground somehow, and she was met with a strong arm around her waist before she was squealing, her legs flying into the air. When she got oriented, she was upside down, staring out at the living room as Grayson’s laughter shook her whole form. 

“Good try baby.” His voice was as cocky as ever and she huffed, holding her shirt so it didn’t end up around her neck.

“I don’t know anything about wrestling but this is definitely illegal.” 

“You’re so green,” he mumbled just to hear her huff again at a term she didn’t know.

“Put me down.”

“Yes ma’am,” he laughed, maneuvering her slowly and keeping a hand on her waist as the blood rushed back from her head when she got back to her feet. Her competitiveness was shining through whether she wanted it to or not, and she crossed her arms over her chest. 

“I can still kick your ass in horse,” she muttered, frustrated.

“Giving up already? C’mon, that’s not my girl,” Gray teased, pulling her to him and wrapping her up, arms still crossed between them. He bit back his laughter and peppered kisses to her hair until she relaxed. He’d gotten used to this Indy - the one who got defensive when faced with something she didn’t know much about, which wasn’t often. It made him smile, knowing something that she didn’t, and he found it adorable that it embarrassed her slightly, got her frustrated enough to rest her head against his chest. 

“You had the right idea you know, going for the legs. Good strat.”

“Good strat,” Indy laughed, shaking her head against his hoodie as he rubbed her back.

“Lower your weight, get a good grip, then lift up and try to get me off my feet. Grab around my leg, and then one around my torso as best you can,” he instructed.

“Show me.”

He smiled at her and waved her forward, taking her hands in his. 

“Okay, lean forward.” She did, and he leaned down with her. He guided her hand to the back of his knee, and she nodded, knowing she was looking for the weak spot. “Now, reach up here,” he guided her other hand to his ribs - “and p-”

She yanked as hard as she could, pulling his leg with all the force she had. Using her shoulder for leverage seemed to work just enough to get him unbalanced and all 190 pounds of him went falling to the floor, his back smacking hard against the rug. 

“Oh shit!” Indy gasped, letting go of him and covering her mouth with her hands. It took a moment for her to register that he was laughing, his hand over his chest, eyes squeezed shut.

“Sorry!” She dropped down to her knees, hands fluttering over him for a moment. 

He laughed again. “Why are you sorry? That was good! Really good actually.”

“Did that not hurt you?”

“No, but you’re hurting my ego if you think I’m that weak.” 

“I hated that,” she admitted with a sigh. “Thank god you don’t actually wrestle anymore.”

He smirked again, and then he was a blur, arms wrapping around her and pulling her around until he had her pinned down without a hope of moving. She writhed under him and giggled; he just smiled.

“1….2….3,” he whispered dramatically, kissing her nose before he let her up. She used her freedom to grab his shirt and pull him back down to kiss him, humming when he dropped more of his weight down onto her. 

“This is so much better than wrestling Ethan,” he murmured into her lips, rolling slightly to the side to rest. Indy closed the space again, scurrying up so she was resting on his chest - her favorite place to be. 

“What’s a squash?”

“Um… a vegetable?” Grayson said. Indy rolled her eyes. 

“Vegetable!” Gizmo called from the kitchen, making them both jump before they laughed. 

“A squash in wrestling, babe” she mumbled, tucking her hand under his shirt and tracing the letters. “You said it earlier.”

“Oh, it’s when you absolutely demolish somebody. Like not even a chance of winning.”

“Green?”

He chuckled and lifted a hand to her back. N-E-W-B-I-E.

He paused and kissed her again, then went back to tracing. F-A-L-L.

“What’s that mean?”

“Guess,” he said.

She sat up and quirked an eyebrow. “I’ll make you start guessing medical terms.”

“It’s what you call the countdown at the end,” he gave in. “The 1-2-3, when your opponent’s shoulders are on the mat.”

They went on like that for a while, with Grayson tracing wrestling jargon on her skin and explaining it all to her. She half listened, more caught up in the excitement in his voice and the warmth of his skin against hers. They lulled down eventually, breathing together and looking around the room from the new perspective of the floor. 

“I love you,” Grayson said in a moment of silence, squeezing Indiana closer to him with the arm he had wrapped around her, kissing her forehead. 

“Love you more,” she hummed.

“Nope,” he countered, shaking his head. She knew it wasn’t worth the argument, so she let him believe it and pushed herself up off his chest. 

“Hey,” he pouted, trying to hold onto her.

“C’mon, you owe me a game of horse. Gotta school you on my turf,” she grinned, reaching a hand down to help him up. It took all her weight to counteract him enough to get to his feet, and she was glad he thought to catch her, helping her balance out when he stood. 

“School me huh? Do I get to see you in a jersey then?” 

“Not a chance,” she grinned, taking his hand and leading him outside.

How do you draw faces and bodies? I'm trying to learn how to draw and your art style is the best I've ever seen! 💜

WOW, okay first I'm so honored that you'd ask!!! 😭💕 I hope my messy ass process helps in some way haha, also just wanna say I learn lot of this stuff w looking at refs and guides first then just tweaked and did stuff my way along the way :-)

also my handwriting sucks so I'll explain/caption things lol

face/head:

1. start w the jaw first

2. rest of the head

3. eyebrows + nose bridge

4. eye shape

5. iris/pupils

6. rest of the nose

7. mouth

8. ears

9. details and other things

there's nothing I can think of to explain my process really for the face and stuff other than usually I always start w jaw (and cheek if its side profile) bc its always been easier for me. w eyes and brows its very important to draw both together and not like one brow and eye then you do the other, I've done it in the past when starting and it always makes the other eye look like shit. so for example: draw both brows, do both lids, do both eyes etc, it really makes things easier!

body:

1. torso/shoulders

2. chest/breast

3. waist/hips

4. legs/arms (I'll go more in detail w arms in a min)

for body it always looks messy haha, again I recommend looking at refs and guides! I used to use the circles and lines things when drawing bodies but usually know I just try to use shapes stacked to together lol

arms:

1. hand shape

2. fingers/thumb

the thing w hands and arms for me is I started to draw the hands first bc I'm not really great w them still lol plus positioning has always been a problem for me so putting the hand first helps me put things together

after I draw the arm and connect it to the shoulder :)

feet:

feet are pretty simple when you draw them in these 3 shapes when you're first sketching! if you're drawing shoes itd easy for me to just draw it over them so I can get the shape right

(I usually rarely draw feet w/o shoes so I have nothing abt drawing the toes and stuff 😂)

I Think that's all I have abt me drawing and my process, one thing I'll add is w body is I usually don't draw it the same way I did up there! thats just a quick example abt shapes, I try to draw bodies differently but I'll admit its something I need to practice and work on more

Let me first start by saying thank you for your interest, and thanks to everyone who filled out the interest form in the past few months! The data I collected will help inform me about what I need to reorder in the future until I can get actual purchase data.

How long until the cards are available?

They are available now! I am fulfilling orders that I expect to first ship on Tuesday, May 26 (holiday weekend and all)

Where can I buy them, and how much are they?

The decks cost $37.50 USD, which does NOT include shipping. They can be purchased on Etsy. I previously mentioned a figure around 35.00- I had to up the price to include some additional fees associated with selling these myself and not through a third party, but this should work.

Can you tell me more about shipping? 

I can’t tell you how hard I’m trying to not make a joke about the other kind of shipping. Anyway. Will I ship international? Yes! Anywhere I can legally send packages to and which still has a postal service running in these trying times is a place I would be happy to send your cards. I ship from the US via USPS, just to give you a base gauge of what that shipping will cost and how long your parcels will take to arrive. (You can also calculate this on Etsy with a few clicks.) Luckily, I can drop these packages into my local post box (instead of having to drive to the post office, unless I get a LOAD of orders in one day), so there shouldn’t be much in the way of processing time either! Unless I get swamped with orders immediately haha.

You’re shipping from your home in times of a global pandemic, what are your cleanliness practices? I WAS trying to limit how many hands the cards touched on their way to you, but you can see where that got me. My home is pet and smoke free and hopefully as mold-free as it can get, though I do eat peanuts/ tree nuts if that’s a genuine concern for you. (I have no idea how far those allergens can travel, for those with high sensitivities, but y’know!)  I’ll of course be washing my hands before packing your cards, but that will be about it. If you need me to do extra sanitation at any part of the shipping process that is in my control, I will be happy to comply. Just leave a note when you buy!

How many decks are available?

My starting stock was 50 of each deck: standard vs. alternate lovers, minus a few that I have given to family and close friends. I expect to sell out; I will do what I can to reorder decks, so please don’t fret if I run out of the deck you wanted! If I am still able to reorder via the company I am purchasing from despite marketplace rejection, I will do so. Processing time for new stock will be 3-4 weeks. 

What can I expect the cards to look like?

You’ve seen the actual card faces, I’m sure, but what about the deck itself?

• just thoughts during the theme song but i wish we got to see more of aleena • the extras in this opening scene look passable for mobians which is a surprise • sleet explains something to dingo while looking directly into the camera

• WHAT IS THIS CATERPILLAR DOG THING UGH • it’s a legal requirement for thief children to have wack hair • kjsdgsd max snapped • i think i remember some people shipping manic with this kid • what animal are any of these characters supposed to be • that bungee jump thing makes no sense at all which is terrible • who gave sonic a drivers liscence • sonic your whole thing is to help people and then some poor kid comes in your van like “help me” and you’re like “why should i” what is the truth • shit dude that van turns on a dime • nobody in this show knows how to drive do they • this little goblin dude juggling is kinda cute, his design ain’t bad. weird colors but that’s a given • what sleet turns dingo into reminds me of the koopalings right down to the voice • is manic older than max or does he just say “little bro” because max looks even shorter than manic does • manic: stealing’s wrong   max:

• max brings up a good point about like... how are they gonna survive without money from the shit they stole • i think i redesigned max at one point? i think i made him a xoloitzcuintli (those weird mexican hairless dogs)

• OH I DID, this was back when i mainly did lineless art (it was easier doing art like this rather than lined art with a mouse, i haven’t tried this style with my drawing tablet yet), i really like what i did here skjdgs small boy • there’s two background characters with names, there’s a girl named allegra with a huge nose and some pig looking gremlin critter named clifton, i think that’s interesting • is it like a cultural thing for all the thieves to have earrings or did the character designers just go “yeah only punks have piercings” • sonia’s being really mean about their music for no reason when it doesn’t sound awful, just let these kids play their accordions and violins in peace dude • manic is a gross boy and spits all over this girl to show off one of his little tricks, disgusting • the headcanons about dingo involved something about this episode i think, i’d have to go digging through dms to remember tho • there’s this bird character between allegra and clifton who looks depressed as shit • sleet looks ugly enough to be a passable spore creature and i might just try that if i have to look at his nasty face any longer • i understand what manic means when he’s like “haha this whole thing reminds me of when i was little and stole shit all the time” because i was a little kleptomaniac when i was a kid and like... getting away with it is fun as shit. of course i feel bad now but like... hey i get it • for once the siblings yelling out of surprise has some energy to it, though i wish it was less like “oh aah” and more like... y’know, actual startled sounds, it’s not super convincing • sleet is standing there with his gaping maw wide open pointing in one direction with no animation like a statue and it’s weird • swatbots are on the same level of aiming as storm troopers • what even are these lasers? are they lethal?? do they hurt??? i don’t think anyone’s gotten hit from what i remember so like what’s the danger • sonic just fucking... vaccums up all these children with wind from running, he’s gonna hurt someone, he’s so damn reckless • WHERE’D THEY GO • the little animation where manic takes out his drums doesn’t look half bad! it’s a pleasant surprise when bits of animation are higher quality than normal

• after saying that i realized his gloves disappeared in the shot i was just praising sndkgjds • how was the production of this show? did they color digitally or was this still in the time of hand-drawn animation cells? i wonder how rushed production was • is “amigas” proper spanish?   [googling]   yes it is nevermind   spanish class as a required class was pointless apparently because i don’t remember jack shit from it • dingo you aren’t allowed to steal the “main man” title from manic (my nickname in our discord server was “my main man, manic” for the longest time sjkdgbs)

Persona 5 Familiar AU

@ren-amamiyaa (hope you don’t mind me tagging you since you were interrested in the AU)

This will be just a more in detail post from the AU I brought up.

This AU was created and developed by me and my friend @oracle-nila. 

More under the “read more” because this is long because I don’t know when to stop

The basic idea behind it is that each of the PT’s persona have an animal form they use in the real world to follow around their user, look after them, give them advice or be a be a nuisance if they want to be.

Each of the persona’s can only be understood by persona users, normal people will only hear animal sounds. Each persona has the general needs of the animal they are and not taking proper care of them can affect fighting inside the Metaverse, meaning that each Phantom Thief has to properly research of how to take care of their respective animal. Depending on animal and personality they are varying degrees of hard to keep alive, they can get sick and even “die”.

Death is not that permanent for Persona. A Persona dying in the real world means that they will be unable to be used for a short while and be weaker than normal until growing back to full strenght. During this time the user of the respective Persona will also be affected, they suffer from a lack of energy and will be pretty tired, their Persona dying will also cause an emotional imbalance. (Using persona uses SP more often then not which is pretty much “mental energy” or at least it’s referred to such in pq  so I think it makes sense for their death to affect their user mentally)

Arsene:

Arsene is a Raven (not a crow as some heathens from shujin would like to make you believe) I mostly made him one because of Arsene’s majestic wings (also fun fact: a group of ravens is called an unkindness or a conspiracy)

Arsene stays around Ren 24/7 having a habit if sitting on him (I mean Ren’s hair is basically a nest awnflfw) which confuses some students at Shujin and does bother some of the teachers (though I can’t recommend trying to throw a piece of chalk at him)

He is smaller than the average raven making it easy to mistake him for a crow

He also has the habit of stealing things from students at Shujin (he steals a lot of different things, mostly food, but he has stolen a wallet before)

He’s also a pretty good spy if need be

It isn’t suprising to see Mona or Loki get annoyed with him (he does get along with Carmen tho so not the entire cat squat wants him dead awfbkbw)

Zorro:

[ He’s a small bug and I didn’t have the energy to make a desing for him so there’s nothing here]

Zorro is a mosquito. Why you ask? because he reminded me of a mosquito when I first saw him and was 100% convinced he looked like one. (and because it’s funny)

He is the most fragile of all of the Persona (even if he says otherwise) this is used to tease him most of the time

Zorro is a male mosquito so he doesn’t drink any blood, though that doesn’t mean that that everyone isn’t going to be worried if he were to complain about hunger

Stays in Mona’s fur most of the time for safety reasons

Kidd:

Kidd is dog, more specifically a border collie. The border collie is a dog breed originating from the scottish border, we thought it’d fit more than some other dog breeds because: scottish breed - scottish pirate

Both eyes work fine, but he has the eye patch because pirate aesthetic

also has a scar on his right hind leg but my idiot butt didn’t reallly make any kind of ref for how the scar looks and didn’t really draw it in the only drawing I have of him

Carmen:

Carmen is a calico cat and also extremely fluffy

She’s a little taller than Mona

She often comes to school with Ann and charms people into giving her food (she’s quite talented at it)

She uses her close connection to Ann to her advantage when she can by manipulating Morgana or making small deals with him (that almost always end up with her not actually holding up her end of the deal)

Goemon:

Goemon is a ferret and possibly the least realistic and most colorful desing of all of them

[haha he hasn’t actuallly gotten that much development]

Johanna:

[also hasn’t gotten a proper desing/drawing made yet]

Johanna is a swan

HONK HONK

one of the least convinient persona to care for since Makoto not only has to explain to Sae why a swan keeps following her around at some point, but also is way too big or heavy to be carried via bag (though the latter thing could also be said about all of the other bigger/heavier persona)

Makoto can usually be found around the park because of her persona

Makoto is team mom and I’m 100% convinced Johanna is team mom for all of the persona

Necronomicon:

Neccie is a bat (the desing was based of a brown bat specifically)

They’re nobinary and I’d give my life for them

Futaba and Neccie have both terrible sleep schedules due to both staying up when they should be sleeping (being the only nocturnal one of the group is hard)

They try to make Futaba go to bed at more resonable times, but often get too invested in whatever Futaba is doing at the time

They also like cuddling (which is good with Futaba’s tendency to manhandle animals)

has a tendecy to swear when angry

Milady:

Milady is a fox, looks cute but can be still quite dangerous (her desing is mostly based of a red fox)

[she also hasn’t gotten much development, sadly]

Robin Hood:

[doesn’t have a desing yet]

Robin is a golden retriever (golden retriever RH ftw)

He is trying his best to help Akechi (he has gotten both gotten the nickname of “Akechi’s self control” and “what’s left of Akechi’s moral compass” by me)

He actually likes to cuddle

Robin is also larger than the average golden retriever

Robin and Loki can bud heads from time to time, but they can still get along

Robin urges and tries to get Loki to interact with the other Persona whenever he can

has a habit of picking up Loki by the neck when needed

He also follows Akechi during bike rides (being a dog means that he needs proper daily exercise)

Loki:

Loki is cat, he’s a lot bigger than the average cat and is a short hair. (and also gets second place in least realistic desing) 

I like describe the relationship between Loki, Robin and Akechi as: Loki gets Akechi in trouble and Robin tries to get him out if it

He has the habit of pushing stuff of tables, annoy Akechi and in general be the asshole cat he was meant to be.

He likes to play the tsundere game strong

He avoids social interaction most of the time

He can be a bit chaotic and mischievous, you know, trickster god and all

He has the highest death count of all of the persona (suprising seeing how one of them is a mosquito)

Welp, now with the basic info about the persona and how the entire familiar thing works I might aswell go a little more into detail about scenarios and story and other shenanigans.

Akechi in this AU is found out way more quickly, at least the multiple persona and that he has a persona part, making him join the party earlier than in canon.

He is pretty much the first person they got to when they have questions on the whole persona thing since he had to deal with Loki and Robin for quite a while now. For example, if a persona were to get sick and they don’t know if it’d be better they can ask Akechi about or maybe even ask questions about how the whole “death” thing works. (how helpful he actually is can depend on the question and situation awnfljf)

Further on the topic of Akechi, he doesn’t get as strong of an effect if one of his persona then rest of the PT (because he only has one dead and the other is still alive), but if somehow both die he will barely be alive, because the effect is way stronger than the any of the PT would have. His brain would be short circuiting while the extreme exhaustion would make him almost pass out the entire time. (and let’s not forget that Robin and Loki are pretty much his only proper emotional support that he can genuinly talk to)

Btw, the first time Loki died was a shitshow, because that was during Akechi being really lonely and still young having no idea they could just “come back”. 

The general story wouldn’t actually change that much give or take a few death and persona related shenanigans, even with Akechi getting to be part of the PT earlier and getting to know all of them better than in canon.

The interrigation room pretty much plays out exactly like canon with Robin being a good amount of disappointed that it had to end like this.

Later on while Loki is off on his own when Akechi, Robin and him where somewhere near the Diet building he notices the PT being a lot more active than they should be and aproaches then, realizing that Ren is actually alive, he makes sure to try and dissuade them from continueing doing what they’re doing, which ends up with Loki killing Arsene and then just legging it, trying to weaken their leader before getting the news what’s going on to Akechi asap.

Akechi is super worried at how bloody Loki is and it takes a moment to click what Loki is telling him. Akechi enters Shido’s palace and the traitor fight happens a bit earlier in the palace than in canon, meaning that they aren’t in that cursed boiler room. Cognitive Akechi shows and instead of any kind of sacrifices being made the PT just beats the shit out of it. (also I like to think that Ren can still use persona even with Arsene having freshly died, just that attacks take a lot more energy and he has to struggle with the effects)

From then on Akechi join the PT again and the awkward, tense road to redemption is now opened to him (with Loki having to apologize for killing Arsene)

Also might I also say that through my endless need to insert Shuake into everything I make, just imagine their persona trying to be their respective wingman/men, Robin would have good intentions, but I’m mostly conviced that if anything Loki would just use knowing about the crush to be a little shit.

PS: thing that that nila noticed was that Arsene was a raven and that’s really similiar to a crow and I’m sure there’s something you connect with crow and Loki a cat and there’s a certain character people often compare to a cat.

Alright, I don’t know what to add currently so I think this is it for now until I decide to maybe edit it incase I make some more proper desings and/or this AU gets more developed [edit 1] fixed problem

with damian, i created him after i tried to kill myself and was stuck in a mental hospital. i had just finished reaing the first shadowhunters book, and decided to try and draw the first demon(???? was that what he was?? im a dumbass and its been over 2 years) you met, which had bright blue hair and if i remember correctly, electric green eyes? but yeah. i made him to cope with all the mental stress i had while being forced to be in that hospital, and hes become very close to my heart because of that
