Is MC gender-locked female & are the main love interests gender-locked male?

Currently, yes. Right now, it's just easier for me to write if I have consistent variables and characters in my head. It also helps me focus on just finishing the stories because I want to make sure each route gets the attention it deserves. Rest assured, I WILL introduce more gender options for both the MC and the main love interests, and it will be something I keep in mind as I'm writing!

How long is this game going to take to complete?

Unfortunately, it's probably going to take a really long time. This is one of the most ambitious writing projects I've done and life is unpredictable but I will do my best!

Are there more love interests/routes planned?

It was actually fun (except for all the anger and frustration). I didn’t even notice time passing... Everything was really well-organized! Everyone sang, exercised, and chanted together.

Never vote for politicians who scurry away to protect their own party and power over the people. I watched it all live. Imagine how I felt, seeing grown politicians—several times my age—running away. Those people will definitely make their way into the history books, and not in a good way. They should have at least stayed to vote. Here in Korea, we ask politicians to vote; it’s not the other way around. The irony, huh?? God. How can this even be. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Everyone waited and called for them to come back and vote for hours. Over a million people had gathered!!! My throat hurts so much from chanting, “Come back and vote!” (By the way, the chant at the end, which sounds like too-pyo-hae, is “투표해,” meaning “vote!”) And, of course, they ignored us.

EVEN IF THEY WISHED TO STAY IN POWER, there are basic things you must do to be a decent human being in the 21st century. How can anyone defend a person who attempted a coup??? It's crazy!! If this continues, I’ll keep rejoining the protests again and again. This isn’t about being conservative or liberal—our basic rights were nearly stripped away! What are these politicians even doing? They’re too cowardly to show up and vote.

I really don’t want to talk so much about politics—I want to draw fan comics, for goodness sake! I'm an indoor person and yesterday was cold. I have to though? I haven’t been able to sleep well these past few days because of this ridiculous news.

But I have to say, Korea’s protest culture is admirable. Even in these frustrating and grim times, people managed to make the protests feel welcoming and even entertaining. I’m still proud I went—it was a positive experience. It could only be this peaceful because people fought so hard to achieve democracy, even shedding blood to get here. Even protests can be fun sometimes, things were so peaceful and everyone who joined demonstrated mature civic awareness! Being a witness to it was memorable. Def ready to do it again.

Several have asked, so here ya go, the only three Monster AU drawings I've done so far and headcannons to go with them.

- Riddle is a Unicorn Centaur and is very proud about this fact. His mother and father were both Unicorn Centaurs as well and they both put great pressure on Riddle to uphold traditional Unicorn values. One of these values being an extreme focus on purity and maintaining a certain level of purity, so Riddle is very keen to keep his white fur clean and often wears hoof-shoes to keep dirt out of his hooves.

- Riddle wears leg-warmers because he actually does get cold rather easily due to his lighter musculature. Sometimes, on colder days, Riddle will even wear a blanket wrapped around his equine half and will even use fire magic to keep himself warm.

- Riddle can't swim very well, especially in comparison to Trey and Cater. He is EXTREMELY sensitive about this fact. Cater often tries to get Riddle to swim in the Heartslabyul lake but Riddle refuses. Any attempt to force Riddle to swim will result in a swift Off With Your Head.

- Riddle will only allow his darling to touch his horn as Unicorn horns can be very brittle and sensitive, so only someone he deeply trusts is allowed to lay hands on it. Due to Unicorn horns being so full of magic, if he ever does break or chip his horn, he will gift the pieces to his beloved as a sign of ultimate trust. He trusts his darling won't sell the pieces and will treasure them.

- Silver carries a blanket around at all times for whenever he or those he cares about need rest. Sebek is the only one of the Diasomnia four that refuses to use Silver's blanket. Silver uses the blanket the most, followed by the more nocturnal Lilia, and even Malleus has used Silver's blanket for a quick nap.

- Silver can be, and has already been, tethered to a carriage before and is quite efficient at hauling things around as needed. Because he can traverse snowy terrain and can adapt to different inclines effectively, he is typically the first to offer to carry things and people around. Someone can tell they are Silver's friend if he offers to carry them around campus.

- Silver is allowed in Malleus' nest but will only enter of his own free will if Malleus directly asks him to. As the nest is big enough to hold Malleus in his full draconic form, it can easily hold Silver, Lilia, Sebek, Malleus, and a few others comfortably before it starts to get crowded. Malleus sees Silver as one of his Hoard and will track Silver down if he hasn't heard from the Cervitaur in several hours.

- If Silver feels like his beloved is in danger, he will not hesitate to pull them up on his back and flee with them to somewhere safer. Only when he is sure they are safe will Silver allow them to get off of his back. Silver has considered getting a saddle made for himself so he can carry his beloved comfortably.

- Grim has had a rough and lonely life so far. He longs for the feeling of a warm home and a comfortable place to sleep, safe from the many dangers the world has to offer. True peace- for Grim- is a warm home, warm bed, and someone who cares about him in a way no others have in the past; like family. As far as Grim knows, he has always been alone and the actual monsters of TWST were keen to remind him the world is not a safe place.

- Grim was able to fly with his wings once upon a time before another monster managed to sneak up on him while he was sleeping. He can no longer use his wings to fly, but will often still flap them from time to time to see if he might have gotten the ability of flight back despite the state of his wings.

- His right eye was damaged in a fight over scraps of food with another smaller monster of the forest. It is harder for him to see out of his right eye due to the scarring around the eyelid and he is sensitive about others teasing him for his scars. Each scar is a time Grim almost lost his life to another monster, and Grim has plenty of scars to remember the hard learned lessons life has thrown at him.

- Grim longs for the domestic feeling of having family and will cling to his Human as they are the only family he has. He will never admit to it- as weakness gets you killed in the wild- but true happiness is when he can snuggle into the soft tummy of his Human and nap knowing that he will wake up somewhere warm, comfortable, and with trusted friends nearby instead of waking up cold, alone, and afraid as he did for so long prior to his Human. His Human is his family and he will never willingly give up his family for anything, even all the Tuna in the world.

And Jin-woo served AGAIN!

I can pretty much bet that this'll be a consistent occurrence for all of us to witness going forward. 😍🤩 And he did so at like 10% effort.

This episode set us up beautifully for what's to come, and gave us even more insight into why Jinwoo ends up where he does, and with who he does.

Frist, were blessed to see the rest of his sweet, and exciting first encounter with Cha. How he was so impressed by her being able to "sneak up on" him, which led to us seeing him in a bit of a vulnerable state. And her, even after his awakening, being the only person capable of pulling off such a feat.

but anyway … lol … this leads me to another thought/perspective that I've had conversations with multiple SL fans about.

This, is why Cha is, at least currently, by Jin-woo's side as opposed to another one of his friends, Joohee.

This woman pulled no punches when it came to him, and did so with the style and grace of a woman worthy of Jin-woo's caliber.

Once she "caught wind" of him, even as he was still E-Rank, she was already on the phone, trying to figure out exactly who he was and went out in SEARCH of him, taking real steps to get closer, whatever that meant. Her intuition is strong, and she listened well.

Some argue that it was his re-awakening that attracted her to him, as if her decision to be with him was a result of her desiring him only for his power. However, at this point she only knows him as an E-Rank.

He has not gained any "status", so she has no knowledge of a glow-up where he's concerned. She simply recognized him as different. He stood out to her, whether it was like a sore thumb, or like an aromatic needle of perfection in a haystack of stinky comrades. 🤭

Ms. Hae-In is brave enough to take action when it comes to Jin-woo, and for those who have not read ahead, we'll see where that leads...

I'll likely dive much deeper into that topic in another post. :)

But... seriously... its hard not to be completely taken with him. In this moment he maintained a quite pensive presence, his warm heart on full display as he reflected on his old life and old friends, and how things used to be. How he's no longer a "weak", struggling, E-Rank hunter, but something very different. Someone even he is beginning not to recognize. Yet, this man maintains his integrity and compassion for other people and is never moved. Ah, he's just so wonderful.

This point promptly proven in this next scene, where he enters the dungeon to help out the High Rank hunters led by Kihoon (talk about another fine ass side character... besides Choi, I mean *ahem) and ends up doing far more than just a little bit In STEALTH mode...😩

Just so badass.

And again, we see the juxtaposition between his compassionate heart under normal circumstances, against his quite hardened one, manifested in his ruthless fighting style when it comes to beasts.

Check the WAY he chose to kill this Orc. He could have simply sliced him with his dagger, but nah.. Our Jin-woo literally ripped his head from his body, exposing his spine... Gaaaah! 😖 He is playing NO games with these b*tches.

And This! Oh my gawd!! BAE moving in stealth, was E👏🏾.VE👏🏾.RY👏🏾.THING👏🏾! 😭

Yeeeeah... s'not lookin good for these nasty monsters.😌

Another thing I felt so good about were these Honorable and Brave healers. Really, the whole strike team. They were such a relief, and a welcome change from the culture we're used to seeing up to this point during Jin-woo's raids, as well as their decision to keep Jin-woo's identity a secret, considering he may have his reasons for choosing not to reveal himself. Very cool.

From Dangsuk's group, to Kang, to Chul Kim, circumstances have been consistently grim for Jin-woo's colleagues due to the sheer incompetence of the so called "stronger" hunters he's been working with.

The irony of Jinwoo being named the "Weakest Hunter of all Mankind" yet he managed to save all of the high ranked hunters, including Joohee, from the double dungeon practically using his intellect alone, and defeating higher ranked hunters solely by outsmarting them and/or simply due to them being complete monsters themselves, despite being chosen to lead raids per the higher ups of the Hunter's Associations is crazy. Go figure, right?

That actually begs the question, why would the system chose him? Why choose the weakest hunter, someone who's an E, over A or even S-Rank hunters? ... Seems "Weak" might be a relative term, and maybe for the system, the weakest was not determined soley by lack of physical prowess??

That aside, sort-of, this group was just amazing when it came time to show their grit and determination to take on the beasts behind this particular gate. Sadly, I couldn't help but recall Joohee in this moment. This woman, stood her ground like a true soldier after healing a man and coming face to face with an enormous Orc.

It was almost time for her to die, yet she stayed strong and accepted her fate because it was her choice to be there. Unfortunately, not all healers were this mature, and were far more of a liability Joohee. *cough cough* than a support to their fellow Hunters. 😕

This beauty here, was LIGHTYEARS greater in character and bravery than many others we've witnessed.

Not to mention the other healers who were just as traumatized as anyone would be in these horrific, terrifying and debilitating situations, yet showed unyielding strength despite their odds.

Of course, the leader, Kihoon is definitely the VIP (aside from Jin-woo) of this group, standing before the Orc's as a whole grown ass, strong ass man, and not a self-serving coward choosing to sacrifice Jin-woo to save his own skin.

Interestingly enough, was the first time Jin-woo had gone on a raid with a group of this stature, and was treated with respect, regardless of his ranking.

In the anime, this squad included six A ranks, three B-Ranks, whereas the Manhwa quoted ELEVEN A-ranks and SIX B-Ranks.

While they had more than enough people to take care of this job, or so they thought before they went deeper inside, this group remained solid and were nowhere near weak, not in rank, or in spirit.

These Orcs are nothing to sneeze at by any means, either. Just look at the sheer vastness of this space! I'm just excited to see what my baby daddy does next week. Get ready, 'cause Is about to go DOWN!

p.s...

They left some things out of the Anime that were in the Manhwa... I wonder if they'll add later to the story. I'm thinking it was done due to their perception of those parts being relatively insignificant, but again, those were some of the things that made this story more than just fighting, but full of even more substance and fun. Here's to hoping they'll add it later. ✌🏾💙
