“ eiji~! ” kagura slapped him on the back, right between his shoulder blades. “ you're going to be my valentine. teach me how to play those video game things so we can do it together. ”

the slap caught him off guard, causing him to LURCH forward slightly and nearly drop his phone at the unexpected strength kagura seemed to hide behind her small frame. wait-- did he hear her correctly? she wanted to spend the day playing video games TOGETHER and not just grab food during her short break??

he had to be hearing things, right?

but as much as he wanted to ask her about her shift at the hostess bar, a part of him felt HAPPY she was putting time aside to spend the day with him. even if she often complained he spent more time watching his monitors than seeing her model his shirts.

"hey.. did you INTENTIONALLY try to injure me so i'd lose against you miss valentine??" he asked with a soft laugh, arm reaching over his shoulder to rub his back in mock hurt. "you know i would have lost even without this disadvantage.." and with his losing STREAK, the statement was believable even if she didn't understand the controls.

"ah-- before i forget.." he reached into his backpack to pull out a bag of chocolates to hand to her, "i thought you were going to go back to work after greeting me so i got you these.. to help you get through your shift incase the customers were acting difficult." he added the last sentence quickly, not wanting her to get the WRONG idea. "but i guess we can munch on these while we game tonight. are you feeling like horror-themed or something more co-op and hackslash"

Plaything

How does one come up with shipping Sombra and Genji? It started with them being simply my favourite heroes to play and also aesthetics - dark allies with neon lights, cybernetic body mods, an excessive use of certain substances... the cyberpunk aesthetic is what really gets me. 

I fell into this hole in 2018 when the fandom was still alive and I still haven’t gotten out, and over the years I have created a very detailed story in my mind as how it would play out if these two would simply work together given certain circumstances that force Genji to choose a dark path to achieve his goal. 

Imagine - a corrupted god program suddenly attacks the Shambali and Zenyatta is in great danger - however, the newly recalled Overwatch is unable to help, due to lack of resources and still being an illegal organisation.  Zenyatta compromised feels like a death sentence for Genji and he needs to find a way to save his master.  In one of his missions, Genji gets into a fight with Sombra and it ends in a tie (his luck, because Sombra is dangerous for him). Having Sombra backed against a wall, Genji offers her a deal; he lets her free, for the price that she helps him find out how to save the Shambali from the corrupted god program.  Sombra tells him that this is a lot of work and Genji has to pay her something in return, too. She needs a few people eliminated and Genji would be the ideal blade for hire. 

I am in the midst of writing this story but it will take some time until I finish the first chapter. 💜💚

I'm happy to have a new commission to share that was admittedly a struggle to make: Helba! THESE SHOULDERS. I underestimated how hard they'd be, but after 3 tries w foam, I THINK they turned out ok! The hat is also foam w a red lens, the fabrics are taffeta & velvet (2 shades of purple).
