#hacking in genshin

!! LONG RANT !! noticed it happened when i logged in today, 3.30pm.

My genshin acc got hacked and they deleted my eula build as well as her weapon, and hu tao, her build and weapon too.

Crying, sobbing, throwing up, sliding against the wall 💔😟

Luckily they didn’t change my pass (i changed it, well my friend changed it for me since i didnt know how to) so fortunately, i got it back but lost tons of valuable items.

My team has barbara, hu tao, keqing and eula. Eula is of course, my main damage dealer— which makes her the most affective against enemies since she's physical. They deleted my lvl 90 snow tombed claymore which me and my friend spent a lot of time to grind for. Luckily, keqing is safe and sound, while barbara only lost 1 artifact. Though, i fixed her build a little so she’s fine. They also deleted my white tassel which i used on hu tao but why would they do that????

Its literally a lvl 70 3* weapon, how jealous can you be, hello???? Did i cry? Yes, absolutely. Do i despise them? Of course. Now, i have to bench eula and replace her with raiden. But luckily, i do have some spare artifacts for raiden, and it went well so far. Hu tao however... is fixed just by a bit, but she deals less damage then she used to, which of course makes me upset. I also took note of someone who was very suspicious to me, though i decided to ignore it.

I don’t think MiHoYo will give me justice any time soon, though, my friend has contacted them through instagram and is awaiting for a response. Though, i doubt they'd do anything as i have zero proof on me getting hacked.

I heard from my friend that if you joined/let someone join your world, they would somehow gain access to your account/info. I, however, is socially active and would constantly help low ar players with quests, world bosses, etc (im ar 54). From now on, i have put automatic reject for any co-op requests unless they are from my friends list (they will have to inform me first thou) my trust issues have greatly increased because of this.

as much as i hate to say this, i should've never been so nice and social to them. i was helping, only helping and being nothing but nice and respectful. I gained tons of friends on this game, so i made the decision to not quit genshin as i have spent around MYR150+.

Please don't say shit like "its just a game, get over it 🙄" "you can farm again" "why are you overreacting?? i've got my acc hacked too” listen, i don’t care if it’s just a game. This is my way of coping through stress in reality, and farming for artifacts are long, very long. I have horrible artifact luck so it will take months for me to even finish building one single character. I will never accept comparison between somebody else's experience and mine.

I’m not calling it trauma, but of course this has given me ✨Emotional damage✨.

“every positive has it’s negative!” no, karen. shit like this shouldn’t be taken lightly as it could (yes it can) damage someones mentality. They use it as an escape from reality and it’s painful twists. Doing things like this would ruin their mental health, and also physical health as they could neglect their physical health. What can you even gain from deleting somebody’s hard work? Right, absolutely nothing. You cant even trade it, so why bother?
